- You guys CRUSHED the like challenge on the tuned Colorado Duramax comparison video, so I HAD to make the hood stack!! As far as I know, this is the only one in existence. How does it sound? Run? Fit? Can this video beat the previous like challenge??

I work at a GM plant. We build trucks that look like that. In fact, over my left shoulder is a cell that produces hoods that look like that. Neat

Man, you gotta try putting a stack in the box dead centre of the sliding window, you could even make the stack a little bigger if it was in the box.. all in all however the hood stack is f**king sick!! Love it!

@@matt13ross yea on the 2nd. Contacted the guy, he said they ship bulk, then they're unpacked, then the tracking gets scanned. Its only showing that a barcode was created.... was supposed to be here yesterday. guess Ill wait a couple more days and contact support

Install a home link in the sun visor. They wire right into the lighting for the vanity mirror and you can get rid of the garage door opener clip

Small critique, not sure if you're planning on adding a trim ring/stack to the raw piping or not. If not it wouldn't hurt to level the stack left to right and front to back so it doesn't look crooked and cockeyed. This would obviously require some cutting and what not but I believe it'd be worth it.

Lol good job man but sorry to say its been done b4.. a lot lol.. ran a stack for about 2 yrs but got boring. Running 3in fender exit now.. a lot more modifications but a lot more fun as well.
I searched and searched the internet with no results. Not saying there aren’t any out there, but I couldn’t find documented ones.
It makes it easier to soak the heat wrap when it comes to doing the bends

Well TH-cam recommended wanted me to like this. My first vehicle was an 08 Chevy Colorado 5 speed manual with a 5 cylinder, put a 1.3 pro charger on it n it moved!
I'm sure that was faster than this lol

Hrm, the cab is pretty roomy, I'd guess you'd fit fine.
Definitely did a badass job on the hood stack but do a better job of removing the galvanization before welding. Galvanized is hard to weld because you’re not supposed to weld on it. I’ve never commented on a youtube video before but this ones worth it. Breath enough of that galvi smoke in and you’ll be sick as a dog. Just wanna inform other garage fabricators because galvi poisoning (which doesn’t take much exposure to get) really sucks. All bullshit aside, this is dope. 🤘
