Nicolas Cage was involved, but rather than only use just his scene, which was the scene of him standing while the camera moves away from him after alternate Barry dies, they decided to extend the scene. One of the greatest joys I had watching The Flash was being able to watch fours versions of Superman in the same movie, Henry Cavill, George Reeves, Christopher Reeve and Nicolas Cage.
Henry was barely utilized in the most minimal ways possible, basically a cameo early on where he's entirely offscreen from a distance and the weird CG-double cameo in one of the time travel moments. He was about as vivid as Adam West's Batman.
Honeslty, the 1st half of this movie is really good, but once they brought in Supergirl & the multiple other timelines the story got overbloated. Plus, the message of how some things can't be changed like saving his mom is ruined with Barry literally doing that to free his dad.
Still awful using CGI Dead Actors like this, completely shameful. I felt a tinge of happiness seeing Reeve again and it’s fun that Nic Cage actually got to do a little something as Superman, but overall completely awful. Like 2/5 movie if I’m being generous.
@@JoeChillton I mean, the concept of using dead actors isn't a bad idea in of itself, but if it's done purely for spectacle and not with care and respect, then yeah, people are gonna be upset. Unpopular Opinion: Really wished they would've included Dean Cain's Superman. Nic Cage's Superman didn't even get a movie release and still got a cameo, versus a successful tv series.

But I am one of the few that enjoyed that movie anyway 😅
Not really, they combined two scrapped Superman projects. The giant spider one was Kevin Smith's Superman Lives, and after WB scrapped that one they started working with Tim Burton and Nicholas Cage in another iteration that was also later canceled.

A lot of people saying this is like a playstation 3 cut scene but what they don’t realise is it’s all actually one of those Magic Eye tricks from tiktok and if you cross your eyes long enough it begins to look good. Everyone is on tiktok these days so they are trying to make movies the same as tiktoks, it’s actually really good.
I'm still confused about who the one in the World War 1 helmet is.
No one said using Reeves was a good idea. Everything about it is wrong
2/5 you are being generous
*NICOLAS CAGE 😔👌*
@@JoeChillton I mean, the concept of using dead actors isn't a bad idea in of itself, but if it's done purely for spectacle and not with care and respect, then yeah, people are gonna be upset.
For example, they used CGI and special effects to recreate Harold Ramis in Ghostbusters: Afterlife, but nobody had any issues with it because not only did Sony have permission from his family for his likeness, but his presence was treated as loving tribute / send-off.
@@doseoflzrno.
It's a fucking dumpsterfire.
There are many films to this day that are still trash even 20-30 years later.
Time doesn't always change the quality of the film, sometimes a film will forever be bad.
This being one of them
Good lord... I'm glad I never saw this thing... It looks like it might as well have been a cartoon or a video game.
I love Nicholas cage
I would have loved to see Lynda Carter as well
Oh!? C'mon Barry use Gold Experience Requiem abd eliminate the Cause?!!! Oh no wait that's the ability from your nemesis
Seeing different multiverses of superheroes from the past was the best part of the movie.
the Mk1 Vs DC trailer looks ok
01:10 How can that web move freaking Superman like that 😂😂😂
Its a frickin giant spider. What you expect?
@@aresabile900 I expect more from Superman 😂
@@aresabile900I expect nothing to happen. Superman has literally been shot directly in the eye and the bullet shattered and he never even blinked
so who is Michael Keaton’s Superman Nicolas Cage or as the common books confirmed Christopher Reeve
With a multiverse... both.
@3:59 you see Superman fighting Doomsday...or Darkseid...
that looks soooo sick!!!
OMG, And I thought Snyder's Doomsday was horrible.
Personally I liked the movie but during the delayed due to Ezra’s controversies WB should’ve put more work on the VFX rather than hiring George Clooney to fill in the final scene. And for the love of god stop adapting Flashpoint storyline, it was done with the animated movie and CW show beautifully. Adapting for “used to be” the first Flash movie was a f*ing mistake
"Nicolas Cage" as Superman
My word, this is Scorpion King levels of bad CGI.
People are talking about just CGI. Yes, I know it's not good. I am sure there must be a solid reason for this, could be budget issue or something. But apart from CGI I love the movie, This is not that bad people! Love the chemistry of Barry with his mom.
They should br draggin Reeve into this shit show. How arrogant of them
1:43
how does Christopher look better in this shot than in the first one?! How do you do that???!
Thought the movie was actually pretty good. Keaton returning as Batman was great. The gripe I have was Ezra Miller's endless yammering. But still liked it. Im 52. Seeing Christopher Reeves Superman again was great.
so awesome to see chris and helen as clark and kara.
Is it though?
My unpopular opinion: The problem with those parallel worlds are that none of their stories had more satisfying conlusions or more complete stories like like The Dark Knight trilogy and Smallville series.
No le queda nada mal el personaje. Se ve imponente Nicolás Cage y más q el vengador fantasma.
0:52 THIS one felt especially lazy. And disrespectful.
Because you hear audio of Adam West as Batman and even Eartha Kitt as Catwoman. But that "Joker laugh" is NOT Caesar Romero.
It doesn't even sound like Caesar Romero. It sounds like what somebody who never saw the series ASSUMED the Joker would sound like.
Why tf is even Flash CGI'd at 1:56?
Unpopular Opinion: Really wished they would've included Dean Cain's Superman. Nic Cage's Superman didn't even get a movie release and still got a cameo, versus a successful tv series.
Jesus for a brand new movie the CGI is horrible.
DC: Hey let’s rip off Marvel ideas, but let’s do a really shitty job of it
One of the absolute worst scenes in recent movie history which perfectly sums up the state of superhero movies these days and why there's so much fatigue in the genre. An embarrassing and insulting mess
We all know Michael Keaton stole the show in this movie
La película de Flash fue como matrimonio fallido: básicamente termino todo mal, pero tuvo sus momentos. Este fue uno...
Such a shame the direction the DCEU has gone, they started with so much great potential with Man of Steel. Batman v Superman (especially the extended cut that really should have been the theatrical cut because it actually explains the plot points!) has become one of the better movies of the franchise which is really saying something about its later ones. But I am one of the few that enjoyed that movie anyway 😅
That really was the plot for the Nicholas Cage Superman movie fighting giant spiders
Not really, they combined two scrapped Superman projects. The giant spider one was Kevin Smith's Superman Lives, and after WB scrapped that one they started working with Tim Burton and Nicholas Cage in another iteration that was also later canceled.
Ummm... Hasn't anyone noticed that at minute 4:00 when the camera pans away from Nicolas Cage above him there is an image of him fighting a large humanoid monster? Has his version of Superman already fought and defeated a Doomsday?
This would be a great PS5 game
