I like the bulletproof cape idea. That pose was an iconic part of Keaton's "Batman" idiom, and I like how they worked that into the choreography this way.
Except that "bulletproof" fabric does not work that way. It actually spreads the impact over the whole surface to prevent penetration but you still feel the full momentum of the bullet. And it only works against a firm surface - the bullet will push aside fabric which is just hanging like Batman's cape.

As a kid, Keaton was my Batman growing up. Seeing this at the movies I just remember thinking… There’s my Batman.. He’s back.. Not to take anything away from the others who have played the role since.. But man, this was peak childhood memories seeing Keaton again in this role.
Fun fact: Batman in the DCEU was offered to Christian Bale, whom played the Dark Knight, but declined to play Batman again, unless Christopher Nolan was directing the movie.
