I quit the SDA church but I will not give up the Sabbath rest day. I am getting churched at home right now and dangerously alone in my walk with Jesus right now but still with a lot of peace in my heart as I try to follow Jesus in His footsteps.
Sorry to hear that, since quitting the SDA church would amount to rejecting all of God's 10 commandments. If you had a negative experience in the church you were attending, I would encourage you to seek another godly SDA church community that will help strengthen your Christian experience, but please don't remain alone in your walk with Christ. Nevertheless, the SDA church (not to be confused with apostate and rebellious members) is the only Christian church that observes ALL of God's 'commandments and has the testimony of Jesus Christ'. Pls continue seeking the Lord in Spirit and in truth through humble prayer and study, and by communing with godly brethren... Now, is the SDA church (it's members) perfect? NO. Are SDA church members the only ones to be saved and/or going to heaven? NO. But the fact remains that the SDA doctrine/fundamental beliefs are grounded in irrefutable biblical truth... I would, therefore, encourage you to please reread and study the Bible for yourself!! God bless... 🙏🙏
Hello Kenneth, You would be greatly blessed by listening to the “old Church Classical Christian Radio” on TH-cam. There are many people from several denominational and sabbath keeping backgrounds that listen to the live-feed. They play old Protestant radio programs (mostly the Quiet Time with Albert Salter.) like yourself, I don’t belong to any church-so I listen in during the Sabbath, and most the week as well. God bless you…
Embrase Jesus Christ he is your rest (Matthew 11:28),(Colossians 2:16-18). I hope that you get baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins and ask the LORD Jesus to fill you with his Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues (Acts 2:37-38),(Acts 19:3-7). The Sda church is of the devil and they have kept all of this truth from you on how to be born again.
I feel for you Kenneth, I crave fellowship. We have a small group that meet in alternate homes on Sabbath. It truly is a blessing. Perhaps there should be a map with contact details on people in a similar situation. They could meet like mined people.
yes I've been studying with them but the investigative judgment I couldn't find in the Bible, The great controversy.Sunday worship being mark of beast😮 I love the people I met in the sDA, but respectfully, I won't join, and im discontinuing bible study, everything I learn from them, Ellen G. Whites writings shows up The Bible, Jesus words and Apostle Paul's writings is my journey.
Hello Friends. Near the end of the video, I mentioned how I believe angels can influence us, based upon our willingness to be led for good or for evil. In that statement, I’d mentioned, humans are creative beings because we came from the hand of a creative being. As I listened, it sounded as though I’d said, creatED being. Please understand - before folk run away with misunderstanding me - God is a creatIVE being who gave us a propensity to be creative, as well. Blessings.
Here’s a question for you sir. You seem highly intelligent with very high emotional health. Bravo on the weight training. I’m in the gym right now. How does a man with the ability to reason become an Adventist demonic cult captive? My opinion of Adventists is extremely low; I consider them village idiots. Just a glance at Galatians proves the investigation of redeemed saints to be ridiculous and unbiblical. Is it the power of delusional? The power of demons? My father was a pioneer Adventist health evangelist. He trapped many into his disgusting demonic cult who had health issues and were desperately seeking answers. I had no respect for the man. Was that it? I haven’t had time to watch the video except the start, but I will watch several times since the first 15 minutes is wonderful and delightful. You are a blessing. Much appreciated if you could help me with this quandary. How do seemingly intelligent humans become Adventist captives? Thank you sir.
@@rayray4192 Hello! I believe this video may answer some of your questions about Dr. Davis’s background. Thank you for your comment! th-cam.com/video/vBXFHe9UWxc/w-d-xo.html
@@jackiedavis3453 very cool, thanks. I haven’t listened yet but the beginning is fantastic. Peter, being very interesting in his approach has had on beautiful humans testifying about deliverance from the Adventist demonic cult, and he has also had in despicable Adventists who lie continually and are heretics and blasphemers. I have a feeling Dr. Allen Davis is going to help us destroy the Adventist demonic cult.
Hello Dr Davis, I've been soaking up your interviews and videos since you were on with Peter! There are so many similarities between your dietary research and the evidence I've seen in my own life after drastically cutting glucose (in all it's forms) and having a more active lifestyle! I was born on the Adventist bus and was beat over the head with EGW to the point I said "I want nothing to do with that lady". As I grew into adulthood I never renounced Adventism but wasn't attending. Actually, I don't even know if I'm technically still a member. I share many of the same theological issues with what mainstream Adventism presents that you do and can sympathize with the people who've left the church for it. Back when the world fell apart in 2020 I figured big things were happening and it was high time to renew that heavenly fire insurance I was taught as a kid. I tried listening to Doug Bachelor and the local Christian radio station again but the same things that made me grow disinterested in my youth were still the same as they ever were. Through circumstances that I would call divine intervention I started listening to a cassette tape series my mother-in-law has given me as a wedding present 12 years before which, after surviving 3 moves, was rotting away on a shelf in the garage. What was presented to me was a biblical view that centered entirely on God and the implications of His character rather than on a playbook to my salvation. I had loads of questions and baggage I brought along but by the end of the series my view of God had entirely changed from the terrifying, arbitrary, vengeful and severe god that was presented to me growing up, into a loving Creator who values the freedom, intelligence and individuality of His created beings. The true God who patiently works through many and various ways with His sick and dying children to lead us to an intelligent understanding of the truth and who most of all would NEVER use force or coercion to get His way. A God I actually like! This new view immediately drove me into the Bible with an emphasis on reading it as a whole and asking what it says about God. Since then I've been through 7 times in different versions which still isn't enough! My family is currently doing an at-home book by book series together, asking each week what that book says about God. We're up to Matthew this weekend. Nothing has ever pushed me to want to study the bible more or led me to respectfully ask "what does that mean" than having my perspective turned towards God rather than focusing on "my salvation". Since the change of perspective, I've tried listening to Doug Bachelor but there are too many points where he gives vague answers or no answer to issues that have become so simple and clear. Things like the unpardonable sin. There are other times where he is flat out wrong in so much as saying that God is unfathomably harsh and will supernaturally keep you alive to suffer in hell. Doug answers dissenters with "like it or not that's how it is folks". These are the mainstream answers that make me ask how they fit Joel 2:13-14 (especially powerful in The Message version) or Ezekiel 16 or if the Bible has even done anything to shape their view of God's response to rebellion! They believe Satan's endorsed fallacy that the death in Genesis 2:17 is at the hands of an angry God. They don't make the connection to Jesus dying that death but instead of saying "God, why are you killing me" Jesus says "God, why are you giving me up" which had already been made clear in places like Hosea 4:17 and 8:11. This is exactly what God will do in the end, reluctantly let those children go who stubbornly harden their hearts, refuse to listen to the weight of evidence and instead believe the lies about God. Even then God is lovingly crying out "why will you die" Ezekiel 33:11 and clarifying in Hosea 4:6 that they are dying from a lack of knowing God and refusing to know Him. Nothing was needed to be done to change God's feelings towards us, in fact 2 Corinthians 5:19 shows that God, through Christ, was reconciling us to Him, the finished work of the cross was Jesus revealing the truth about the Father (John 17:25-26). Jesus is not standing between us and an angry God (John 16:26) because when we see Jesus, we see the character and embodiment of God (John 14:9), a God who calls us to an intelligent understanding of His ways as a friend would (John 15:15). The other thing that this perspective changed was my perspective on EGW, her writings and how since her death the church leadership has turned her into a prophet and saint, which she had openly refused during her life. If you are earnestly searching, I implore you to give this view your consideration. The series can be found here: th-cam.com/play/PLPhBuUC9tVmXVm451340W0c3fQpEbdue2.html If you do check into it I'd love to hear your perspective. Also, as it turns out, I work just up the road from you at the north end of that big lake! If you find yourself up the hill, I would be most honored and am genuinely offering/asking to take you to lunch... clean meats included!
I was raised in the sda church but my mum was c of e. I love the people of the sda church and there are many genuine Christian’s in it. But when I got baptised And went through the “doctrines” I just knew intuitively something wasn’t quite right. I remember watching the John ankerberg show mentioned with Walter rea and desmond Ford….. it took awhile but one revelation led to another and the truth is beautifully clear and I’m not mad I’m just deeply saddened that so many sdas can’t see what’s self evident.
The SDA was created by people who couldn't or wouldn't see what was self evident. It's foundation is a false prophecy interpretation of Daniel 8:14. They just continued to build on that faulty foundation because their pride wouldn't allow them to repent of or admit that they had fallen for a false prophet. They have since built up false doctrine upon false doctrine.
@@lonnierandall7882 Original Hebrew had two different words for vision in Daniel 8/9, (Chazown and Mareh) look at the Strong’s concordance. In Daniel 8:14-15 while Daniel was in a vision (Chazown) wanting to understand the vision (Chazown) he saw an appearance of a man (vision aka Mareh) Daniel 8:14 And he said unto me, Unto 👉two thousand and three hundred days👈; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed. Daniel 8:15 And it came to pass, when I, even I Daniel, had seen the vision (CHAZOWN), and sought for the meaning, 👉then, behold, there stood before me as the appearance of a man.👈 Take note that Gabriel is involved in this verse about the MAREH like Daniel 9. 👇 Daniel 8:16 And I heard a 👉man's voice👈 between the banks of Ulai, which called, and said, 👉Gabriel, make this man to understand the vision (MAREH). Then he said that the (CHAZOWN) would be AT THE TIME OF THE END. Daniel 8:17 So he came near where I stood: and when he came, I was afraid, and fell upon my face: but he said unto me, Understand, O son of man: for at the time of the end shall be the vision (CHAZOWN). Daniel 8:26 And the vision (MAREH) of the evening and the morning which was told is true: wherefore shut thou up the vision (CHAZOWN); for it shall be for many days. From v26 says And the (MAREH) OF THE EVENING AND MORNING. The mareh which is a portion or part of the longer evening and morning one is true, 👉wherefore👈 shut thou up the (long 2300 days (years prophetically)) vision (CHAZOWN); for it shall be for many days (years prophetically). Daniel didn’t understand the MAREH 👇 Daniel 8:27 And I Daniel fainted, and was sick certain days; afterward I rose up, and did the king's business; and I was astonished at the vision (MAREH), 👉but none understood it.👈 Daniel finished the chapter saying he didn’t understand the MAREH and the previous verse that the CHAZOWN was shut up as it will be for many days / time of the end v17. Daniel 9 the same Gabriel that was told to give the meaning of the MAREH returns to give him the understanding as at the end of chapter 8 Daniel fell sick and didn’t get the understanding of the MAREH. Daniel 9:21 Yea, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, 👉whom I had seen in the vision (CHAZOWN) at the beginning👈, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation. Gabriel who Daniel had seen in the large vision aka CHAZOWN of Daniel 8 returned as stated above v21 Gabriel will now give him understanding of the MAREH. (Remember that the Chazown would be understood at the time of the end. So clearly the second vision (MAREH) can be understood.) Daniel 9:22 And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, O Daniel, 👉I am now come forth to give thee skill and understanding👈. (Remember understand what he didn’t in Daniel 8:27) Daniel 9:23 At the beginning of thy supplications the commandment came forth, and 👉I am come to shew thee👈; for thou art greatly beloved: therefore understand the matter, and 👉consider the vision👈 (MAREH). Then proceeds to go through the messiah 70 weeks prophecy v24-27. Gabriel comes to explain the part of the messiah which has the same beginning of the prophecy of Daniel 8, because Daniel 9:24 says “determined” for thy people. Determined means a portion is cut off. Cut off from what? From the entire portion that is being explained. Book of Daniel would be shut up and more understood AT THE TIME OF THE END. Just like the long 2300 years prophecy mentioned in Daniel 8. Daniel 12:4 ...'But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.' Daniel 12:9 ...'And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.' So this vision was to be sealed until the time of the end.
What is self evident. Many have made it their life's mission to discredit and show SDA errors. I've been a lifelong SDA member and studied our fundamental beliefs and doctrines...there is nothing in them to refute or discredit...each doctrine is biblical. Please share your concerns.
@@theweetbixkid7702 Des Ford destroyed the disgusting Adventist demonic cult foundation doctrine from daughter of the devil Ellen White. Only a delusional fool thinks Christians are on probation and being investigated. What a joke.
You may enjoy some of our recent season 9 interviews. One with DrEz a few weeks back and one I did the day before yesterday with Frank Merendino called SDAQ&A Church #1. We’re really building a lovely community on our platform where many going exactly what you are going through are also experiencing the same thing, right now.
I often do. How many episodes have you watched? Over on our Facebook group (season 2-3+) and podcast (season 1) and here on TH-cam (early season 3 to now) with now around 200 interviews under our belt I’d suggest that more than half the people Interview are actually current SDA’s who love the church, don’t want to leave and support it. Many of course talk openly about their concerns and speak frankly about their experiences but if you delve a little deeper into watching my platform you’ll discover my whole point is to create a platform where every possible kind of adventist, past, present, conservative, liberal/progressive, former or ex, is represented and is welcomed to share their thoughts, stories and experiences on the program. I even extend an invitation to you John to come and respond to the ex-SDA’s. When would suit you? Or are you someone that likes to ‘shoot and run’?
People should never forget that Lucifer found something wrong in heaven, right in the presence of God. And a third of the angelic hosts were sympathetic to him. Mind you, that was a perfect world. I am not saying that the SDA church is heaven and leaving it is akin to leaving heaven. But I’m saying testimonies of people finding something wrong with the SDA church teachings should always be understood in the correct light which is, anyone can find something wrong even with the Holy God, if they are determined to do so. And like the father of the prodigal son, some of us will not stop looking to the horizon each day for people who left voluntarily, to return voluntarily. I will happily join in the celebration when they return. Much love and respect. 😌
Thanks for your kind and respectful reply. I think you’ll find that many who left the church aren’t doing so simply on a whim. When someone realises that Ellen White was not only wrong, flawed or sometimes made mistakes that she also made false claims and said God told her things that we now find out He didn’t. Well. That’s quite a big deal. This is not about people leaving the adventist church for silly reasons. There are some big things we found out. And ponder this. The longer the lord doesn’t return the more nonsense 1844 and the iJ claims seem to be. The adventist church has many lovely people in it. But so does the world of the former adventist. We simple don’t align with it anymore and feel that it’s not only wrong but actually seriously mistaken and even misleading. Thanks again for being respectful in your disagreement. We appreciate that
Sorry, Lucifer found nothing wrong with God or his administration, this stuff was from John Milton, copied by Ellen White. Lucifer simply wanted to be the number one in heaven, in the place of God.
Peter, just discovered your TH-cam channel. I used to occasionally watch from Facebook. You seem like such a kind man. Love your heart and your ministry. Blessings, Teresa

KJV 1 John 2 19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.
How do SDAs explain away the fact that any honest exegeses of Daniel 8:14 reveals that the original manuscript says 2300 mornings and evenings, and the context is clearly speaking of the morning and evening sacrifices which Antiochus Epiphanies took away? Just want to know what their argument is in light of this evidence.
I was involved with the finances of almost all of the independent ministries. Some horror stories out there. One unnamed ministry had their bank account closed because all the officers were out of the country preaching anti vax and 3rd angels mssg in Brazil
It is amazing to me every testimony I have heard of ex adventists argument of not believing the Sanctuary message is so weak and not founded on scripture. I thank God for solid immutable message of Bible of 3 Angels Messages
- the dates don’t line up. 457BC, Christs Death. Nothing confirms 1844. Even Jesus said don’t set dates. And Adventists birthed from a false ‘prophet’ Miller setting incorrect dates. So the whole adventist Sanctuary doctrine is born from a lie and something Jesus said not to do! And why would Jesus reward a religion who disobeyed his advice (not to set dates) by somehow working meaning into the date??? You obviously haven’t read scripture
Even as a youth I couldn't understand how Jesus and the Father were outside the "Holy of Holies." Wouldn't WHEREVER God is, is the holiest place? Wherever the Father resides IS the holy of holies. Strange to think heaven has a holiest area that would ever be vacant of God. So I never paid much attention to the SDA Sanctuary doctrine even as an Adventist. the Bible clearly says, several times, that Jesus is and has been sitting at the right side of the Father since He ascended into heaven.
The sanctuary doctrine relies only on this assumption: William Millers' calculation was right, only the interpretation of the event was wrong. Is it not possible that the computation is wrong and the event also wrong? Is it not possible that the 70 weeks prophesy is not a subset of the 2300 days (actually evenings and mornings)? There are a lot of possibilities.
@@leandrodacera7404 Liked *"only the interpretation of the event was wrong. Is it not possible that the computation is wrong and the event also wrong"* 👍 The poor souls who believe such things are grasping at straws, simply to maintain the paradigm.

Are u sure it's God's ppl who are getting out of 'Babylon'? I believe you got it all the way around. It is apostates who are getting out of God's SDA church which is NOT Babylon. Apostates can't stand truth...
It real has fallen. The SDA was founded on error and deception. People were not educated then. Now with so much education and the Internet the SDA can only fool fools and the lazy.
Sorry...misinterpretation: Babylon is NOT the SDA church since no one can generalize. The church still represents the true doctrinal church. However, Babylon (confusion), has entered the church and many have apostatized and brought confusion to the church. Those who are grounded on doctrinal truth within the SDA church will never b a part of Babylon. Let's make that distinction please!!
@@hosannajoy2531 The “delusional” are those who reject the word of God☹️God allows them to believe the lie, for example that “women should be ordained” or that we are saved “in our sin” rather than “from our sin”. So I agree those in opposition to God’s word regarding the ordination of women are under a cruel delusion.
Excellent Answer SDA Q&A! I would add that Christ told us plainly. "My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I, too, am working." For this reason the Jews tried all the harder to kill him; not only was he breaking the Sabbath... The Father nor the Son rested on the 7th day--they worked.
SDAs believe and teach that there are beings on other planets who also keep the *7th-day* Sabbath. But unless these other planets are EXACTLY the same as the Earth in every way -- including size, distance from the sun, rotation, etc., -- then the concept of a standard weekly Sabbath breaks down and becomes completely relative to your place in the universe. The Sabbath *is already relative* here on earth depending on your latitude and longitude. By very definition the command to rest on the Sabbath is always a type relevant command, rather than a true moral command that everyone naturally knows. True morals are in place all of the time. It's always wrong to murder, steal, commit adultery, and lie, *24 hours a day, seven days a week* . These sorts of morals are in place universally everywhere all of the time. So a command that is followed only from Friday evening to Saturday evening must be another type of command. The Sabbath was a "sign commandment" and a "Holy Convocation" to be carried out ceremonially (ritually) once every week.
This is a an interesting discussion thanks. I wonder if Dr. Sigve Tonstad professor of religion and associate professor of medicine Loma Linda University. He is a highly acclaimed theologian in religious circles. He has an interesting series on TH-cam “Rereading Revelation” and rereading the 4th Gospel” I am sure his thoughts could add some grist to this discussion?
Dear my brother David; I am a mathematician, not a pastor. My brother David , please ask Pastor Bohr, Lomacagne, Finly, Doug and Ross etc this: how is it possible to keep a 24-hour Sabbath in cities like New York, Tokyo, Paris or London without depending on the work of millions of people? If it is assumed that is a literal 24 hours Sabbath then SDA cannot accept that anyone works for them either directly or indirectly; such as the provision of water, power, internet, communications, cellphone, security, food, refrigeration, transportation, hospitals, pharmacies just to mention a few. How did all the visitors from around the world keep the Sabbath during the general conference meeting for example one held in Indianapolis years back without depending on all the logistics of the city that employs thousands of workers such as hotels, food, police, public transportation etc? Why are these SDAs accepting others to work for them? Is this not a blatant violation of the holy commandment? If the 7 plagues are so catastrophic and terrible, for example an ocean turned into fetid blood, why did Jesus say that when he comes the second time people will be: eating, drinking, building and getting married? Isn't the entire world except the SDA supposed to be tormented by the 7 plagues? How could millions of Adventists escape from a mega city to a mountain or afford a farm property out of a mega city to escape from the Sunday law? How will a global Sunday law be imposed if there are countries in the world that cannot even maintain the basic security of their own people? It is known that there are millions of Muslims who observe Friday as their holy day so what would a global Sunday law be like for all the millions of Muslims in the world who keep Friday? This shows how far the fanaticism of a masterfully crafted sect can take to any individual who refuses to think of. It is unthinkable that a Sabbath can be kept worldwide.
Well said! Can you come on the show and do a short interview with me about what you’ve just said? 30 minutes. I’m trying to include weekly shorter interviews :)
@lincolndunstan3057 I think what you mean is, I tripped over my tongue, which kinda ran past my brain in that moment. I meant to state, "we came from the hand of a *creatIVE* being," and instead I stated "creatED". Some where in this thread I clarify this stumble.
Matthew 24:4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, let no man deceive you. As it was in Eden, the beginning, so shall it be in the end. I shall not be moved or beguiled . Revelation 14:6-12. 🙏
Read Matt 7:15-23. Is it possible that this passage could apply to EGW? After all, we have proof she lied, stole, abused, ate unclean foods, and consumed alcohol as a vice. What sayest thou?
Personally and I don’t speak for Dr Allen Davis. Sabbath is a day of rest but inconsequential to one’s salvation. I don’t believe the ‘state of the dead’ theory proposed by SDA’s. Who know what happens. And re Hell, I most definitely don’t believe in hell.

Thanks Dr Allen. So refreshing to hear that you didn't throw the baby out with the bath water as a lot of ex Adventist do. The state of the dead and keeping all the commandments that Jesus continually said to do. Dietary laws of the Bible. Ect ECT. ❤
We aren't required to keep the dietary laws; the context of the chapters shows that those are merely Old Covenant. And the SDA "state of the dead" cannot be supported from Scripture alone unless you take the most literal, wooden reading of every passage on the subject.
He may come to believe otherwise about that as well. It took me a few years to deconstruct my beliefs after leaving sda. It was like a ball of knotted up string. Untying one knot after another
@@beckyouellette4686 I'm in the same boat. I'm a former third generation SDA who unofficially left the church a year ago, and I am still very much in the process of undoing the cultic brainwashing. I've been able to get over the Jewish food laws and never fully bought into the health message (even when I was still in Adventism) as well as SDA eschatology, but I'm still trying to sort through EGW and the state of the dead. It seems to me like Adventism always has some sort of ad hoc defense for the former, which makes that especially hard. I still believe in the seventh-day Sabbath, and no amount of discussion is going to change my mind on that. For me the Sabbath is the meat and everything else is the bones.
So are you saying you believe in a national Sunday law or that we will be keeping the sabbath for eternity as taught in sda theology? Just curious where you are in your belief in that..
"One of us" is a person who, through faith in the teachings of Jesus Christ, has accepted Him as their Lord and Savior and, by the power of the Holy Spirit, is walking and growing in Christ. This faith includes a commitment to being part of Christ's remnant church in the last days, which keeps the commandments of God and has the testimony of Jesus. Their mission is to proclaim the Three Angels' Messages of Revelation 14. @@SDAQandA
What defines adventusm is there unique doctrine. Nowhere in the bible support their beliefs. The inherited the Sabbath doctrine from someone else but added their spin on it. Blue law, Catholic Church, Pope, Constantine.
Many will leave God's remnant Church. If this didn't happen then the Bible would not be true, when it says; if it was possible even the very elect would be deceived. This means, the deception would be very strong and cause many to doubt and leave the truth. Of course, many, but not the elect. Not those who God in His foreknowledge, not His predestination knew would be faithful to the end, would not be shaken out by the many winds of doctrines constantly blowing strong around them.
The irony is that it is not us who have left the ‘remnant’. Adventism did. As soon as it was formed it was itself leaving the remnant. Adventism is the deception and has cleverly convinced its members that it is the ‘truth’. When in fact it is the lie and false gospel. You have been deceived. And you are the elect. We who have left are simply returning to the Gospel. I hope you wake up and realise this. The three angels gospel - is NOT the gospel. You have been deceived.
Can someone please give me verification that Hiram Edson refuted his beliefs and left Adventism? I have never been able to find any proof of that. I have heard several people state that, but always without any verification.
Just like what I suspected long ago. Amazing Facts is going for everybody's money. They go to the extent of taking a dying SDA members' last will. Just take a look again at the web site's navigation tabs. If you cannot see their goal of getting a DONATION, you're blind.
Yes so true the seventh day Adventists in australia are well known for their dishonesty,,,,,deceit in money matters, absolute greed and lust for money. This is one hell bent fraud cult that many within the cult are waking up to. From young Robert.
Yes all christian organizations and ministries may indirectly be considered a "business" and donations, gift offerings, etc is what keeps them going financially. Is there any other way? While it's true that the incoming flow of money lends itself to corruption and dishonesty, not all can or should be painted with the same brush. We will find throughout the Bible many instances where we (the flock/believers) are called to support the gospel through our tithes, offerings and donations. By doing this we must be careful that we dont discard the [true] message along with the [false/corrupt] messenger since God has given his people a spirit of discernment. I remain true and faithful to Gods command that we financially support our ministries with an open and joyful heart. God sees our faithfulness and will always bless us for it. With regard to those who practice corruption, deceit and thievery...God will give them their just reward when He appears at the end time, and will pronounce those terrible words..."I know you not..." for eternal damnation.
There is nothing wrong with donations. These are self-sustaining, non-profit organizations who preach the word. Let's not be so judgemental. If they are being coerced or defrauding people's money, God will reward these ministries accordingly. But if they are blessing others and preaching God's word, many souls will b brought to the feet of Christ... Are you being FORCED to give money? If not, let it be... 👍🏻😉

Allen Davis told me that he had read all the writings of Ellen White, then got angry at me when shown that he had not. . It seems like lying is second nature to him, but really, why should he care, as those who break one commandment (like the 4th), have broken them all?
It;s interesting that the string you pulled that led you out of Adventism was studying the book Hebrews. That is also what precipitated my exit. Somehow, by God's grace, I knew that if the IJ fell, the whole edifice would come tumbling down. I would require rethinking everything I had been taught about God and Jesus.
Jesus is a better high priest as a king,a king who established a better covenant based upon better promises, and necessarily established a new and better law of love. The wonder is how anyone ever thinks the horrendous investigation of redeemed saints is biblical. It’s such an anti Christian heresy how can anyone believe such ridiculous error.

That text is not recommending a method of Bible study, “But they also have erred through wine, And through intoxicating drink are out of the way; The priest and the prophet have erred through intoxicating drink, They are swallowed up by wine, They are out of the way through intoxicating drink; They err in vision, they stumble in judgment. For all tables are full of vomit and filth; No place is clean. “Whom will he teach knowledge? And whom will he make to understand the message? Those just weaned from milk? Those just drawn from the breasts? For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept, Line upon line, line upon line, Here a little, there a little.” For with stammering lips and another tongue He will speak to this people,” Isaiah 28:7-11 NKJV
Many of the Sabbatarian Churches also try to enforce the Jewish meat distinctions upon the Gentile Christians. However, they fail to read to whom the text of Leviticus 11 is addressed. Lev.11 vs 1 “And the LORD spake unto Moses and to Aaron, saying unto them, 2 *Speak unto the children of Israel* saying, These are the beasts which ye shall eat among all the beasts that are on the earth.” Like the Jewish Sabbath, they take what is given to the Jews and the nation of physical Israel and attempt to enforce it on Christianity. Before, there was ever a nation of Israel on the face of the earth, the Noahide laws were given in Gen.9. These laws were the laws which govern the Gentiles in the covenant made with Noah after the flood. God before the flood had separated out the clean and unclean for the purposes of dividing which were acceptable as a sacrifice to him. Gen.7 vs 2 speaks of separating the clean and the unclean but when Moses wishes to speak of ALL the animals together he says, “8. …OF EVERY THING THAT CREEPETH UPON THE EARTH.” Here Moses means every kind of animal both of the clean and unclean”. Thus we find in Genesis 7 vs 2 which speaks of clean and unclean animals that one should know that they were separated "clean and unclean" for the purposes of sacrifices only. But as for food and meats you should Genesis closer for God in Gen.9 vs 3 says, "3EVERY MOVING THING that liveth shall be meat for you; EVEN as the green herb have I given you all things" Indeed the Word of God set apart for the Gentiles that *"every moving thing that lives shall be meat for you just as the green herb".* Gen.1 vs 29And God said, *Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. 30And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat and it was so.* That is way Paul writing to Timothy said first 1Tim.4 vs 4 “For EVERY CREATURE of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving". It is only here that “EVERY CREATURE” is established as good for food and NOTHING TO BE REFUSED, as well as “sanctified by the Word of God” by Scripture. NOW FROM CHRIST *The problem with Sabbatarians is that they think the animals were unclean in themselves. They were not. They are ONLY ceremonially unclean.* Mk.7 vs 14And when he had called all the people unto him, he said unto them, Hearken unto me every one of you, and understand vs 15There is NOTHING from without a man, that entering into him can defile him vs but the things which come out of him, those are they that defile the man. 16 *If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.* 17And when he was entered into the house from the people, his disciples asked him concerning the parable. 18And he saith unto them, Are ye so without understanding also? Do ye not perceive, that WHATSOEVER THING FROM WITHOUT entereth into the man, IT CANNOT DEFILE HIM; 19Because it entereth not into his heart, but into the belly, and goeth out into the draught, purging all meats? 20And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man. 21For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, 22Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness vs 23All these evil things come from within, and defile the man. Luke 11 vs 40Ye fools, did not he that made that which is without make that which is within also? 41But rather give alms of such things as ye have; and, behold, ALL THINGS ARE CLEAN UNTO YOU. Christ *" thus purifying all foods??* Mk.7 vs 18-19 includes these words of Christ regarding unclean meats, "18So He said to them, ?Are you thus without understanding also? *Do you NOT perceive that whatever enters a man from outside cannot defile him,* 19?because it does not enter his heart but his stomach, and is eliminated, thus purifying all foods?" The NAB translates vs "19 since it enters not the heart but the stomach and passes out into the latrine?? (Thus he declared all foods clean.)" That is the text the parentheses are not mine. The NRSV says " 19 since it enters, NOT the heart but the stomach, and goes out into the sewer? (Thus he declared all foods clean.)" CEV " 19 It doesn't go into your heart, but into your stomach, and then out of your body.? By saying this, Jesus meant that all foods were fit to eat. " The NCV "19 It does not go into the mind, but into the stomach. Then it Goes out of the body.? ( (NCV)When Jesus said this, he meant that no longer was any food unclean for people to eat.) The Sabbatarians have prided themselves in the fact that they live a Jewish life but Christ admonishes us in this manner, “15There is nothing from without a man, that entering into him can defile him vs but the things which come out of him, those are they that defile the man. 16If any man have ears to hear, let him hear. 17And when he was entered into the house from the people, his disciples asked him concerning the parable. 18And he saith unto them, MARK 7:18… *Are ye so without understanding also? Do ye not perceive,* that whatsoever thing from without entereth into the man, it cannot defile him; 19Because it entereth not into his heart, but into the belly, and goeth out into the draught, purging all meats? 20And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man. 21For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, 22Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness vs 23All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.” Mark. 7 vs 15-23. Let us pride ourselves in removing these things from our hearts and then we shall be pleasing in the sight of the Lord, not because we don’t eat shrimp. Lastly, the writer of Hebrews in Chapter 13 gives some sound advice in verse nine, 9Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.” Like vegetation, there is a vast difference between foods that not good for you to eat, and foods that are "unclean". For example, can eat vegetation that is poisonous! It's poisonous, not "unclean" . *Christian are not be required to live after the manner of the Jews! The first council of the Church in Acts 15:5-16:4 forbids any teaching of the Gentile Christians to be obligated to live as do the Jews.* So, when Gen. 9: speaks of all foods or meat being eatable even as the green herb, *it means, just that!* Col. 2:16 *Forbids judging anyone in regard to what they eat or drink!* I said all along this has nothing to do with unclean meats. Might I suggest, the term Israel is a spiritual one -- the name Jacob (the Deceiver) received (i.e., Overcomer) upon his full surrender to the Angel with whom he wrestled. Paul, in Galatians 6, refers to the Israel of God, not as an ethnic or cultural idea, but rather a spiritual one. Re: Christ's words, please note the context: He was making a point that to eat with unclean hands does not defile a man, because the body will PURGE these things. Of course, you are free to choose what you want to do, but I would humbly submit to you, neither what Jesus said nor the cross changed the physiology of the swine or other foods God -- who changes NOT -- called unclean. Further, if you read Acts 15 carefully, you'll find the following passage of interest: "For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath day." (Act 15:21 KJV) The context is unequivocal: James neither abrogated the teachings (i.e., law) of Moses nor the Sabbath. Please consider this one point: *Jesus IS the Law of Moses!!!*
[KJV Romans 14:4] "Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand." => Jesus said: "ye shall know them by their fruits..." (Matthew 7:16) And why would they be busy sharing the Gospel of Christ, when casting blame on others & judging another man's servant ...comes in more naturally?! 🤔
Don't accuse those casting judgment on the SDA church when they believe all those who worship on Sunday are the "whore of babylon" and receive the mark of the beast. SDA barely consider themselves protestants and actually condemn protestants...
Hello, and thx for your question. If you mean "conservative" as in holding to the fundamental teachings of protestantism and the historic Christian faith, then yes, I am. I believe God has established standards of conduct in the Scripture, and He's demonstrated how that's to be played out, in the life of Jesus Christ. Realizing we're fallen souls, we need the power of God, as was in Christ, to stay submitted to Him on a moment-by-moment basis. I don't believe we can attain to what the Last Generation Theology proponents embrace, but I do believe, if we allow grace to do its perfect work (i.e., partaking of the divine nature, as we read in 2 Pet 1:4), such that we reach the state of agapé (cf. Rom 12:1, 2; Gal 2:20; 1 Cor 13; Gal 5:22; 2 Pet 1:7), then we won't fall, meaning God's right arm (i.e., Christ Jesus) will sustain and keep us. As for the LGBTQ+ matter. I'm not going to sidestep the issue by pandering to you and proffering a number of platitudes. I believe these BEHAVIORS are contrary to God's character and they, just like adultery, theft, murder, etc., are sinful. One of the major differences with these behaviors, however, is they can be a result of genetics, whereby development based upon XX or XY chromosomal patterns were not complete or had some defects. I'm not saying a person was born a man or woman inside the opposite's body or that a predisposition toward the same sex is part of his or her make up. What I am saying is, this is a fallen world under the curse of sin and all its consequences. I don't believe it's a sin to BE LGBTQ+, but I do believe to act on those tendencies (which are not natural, per the original design) is contrary to God's will and out of harmony with His character. And while I'm on the subject, there are numerous perversions within heterosexuality that are equally troubling and reprehensible. All that said, the believer is expected to treat these people with compassion and kindness, just as Christ treated those who were social outcasts during His day. At the same time, that compassion must include a rebuke of the behavior God has called an abomination. To do anything less would not be fulfilling the edict of true religion, as James stated in his letter (cf. Jas 1:27). Also, it would indicate someone is not a true child of God, because he or she isn't upholding the standard the Almighty has set. It's a delicate balance, to be certain.
@jeanleroux6915 First, let me state, I find Dr. Veith to be an intelligent and respected professor. In his presentations, however, I believe he seeks to hook and reel in those who are inclined to conspiracy theories and hyper-sensationalism. I've watched -- to my knowledge -- everything he published up until 2019, at which point I went back to the Bible only. Veith et al. fail to stick to *solo* scriptura (i.e., the Bible only, entertaining no outside voices) in its purest form. Instead, they employ *sola* scriptura, whereby certain voices and philosophies are accepted when forming doctrine and ideology. SDAs, including Dr. Veith, want to claim all their teachings come from the Bible, but this is not remotely correct or true. In fact, it's an overt deception to get people to believe not in true Christianity, but rather Seventh-day Adventism. What "baptizes" SDA beliefs is the endorsement of Ellen White, full stop. If it weren't for her, SDAs would continue to truly study their Bible, accept the real Jesus (and subsequently, the only true God), and actually be able to differ from the Fundamental Beliefs without fear of retribution. I don't know your faith persuasion, but if you are SDA, I'd like to ask you, Do you truly know the Jesus of the Bible? Moreover, do you know the only true God whom He came to reveal? Do you have assurance that you are saved by the finished work of Jesus' atonement? You see, I'm certain that most SDAs, who truly understand and accept the Fundamental Beliefs, fail to understand the pure, Everlasting Gospel. They are converted to a set of teachings -- mainly out of fear -- and not to being a real child of JEHOVAH, because they've not readily accepted His only-begotten Son as the *ONLY* way to salvation and eternal life. Revelation 18:4 is clear.

Sorry I forgot to add with men and women like Tonstad in the SDA denomination and the contribution the church has made to society all over the world it may be a bit unfair to dismiss it as bogus. There are serious problems with the church to be sure but we are not the only one! All the criticisms you pointed out are serious issues that we need to honestly address but that is best done from within the church, it’s a tough ask but we will have to man up and do it. It would be great if you could get Tonstad on your program. That may not be easy. Cheer’s
Good point and a fair one too. In my experience and as an observer of adventist history and current going’s on, Adventists do not answer these criticisms. There is no internal debate permitted and the more I look at adventism the more I realise it is a doomsday cult. I was an sda for about 55 years and I was a 5th generation adventist. I left about 7 years ago and in the leaving I’ve had a more objective view. Along with interviewing nearly 200 Adventists of all kinds on the diverse range of Adventists. I’d love to interview Tonstad. Do you have his contact details? (In fact I have a feeling I’ve already reached out. I’ll check my correspondence). Have you listened to season 2 of SDAQ&A? It was very revealing to me. What is your involvement with the church? Maybe you could come on the show? You’d be more than welcome. But yea the church historically has had countless opportunities to deal with this internally and they haven’t at all.
@@SDAQandA Hi thanks for your reply I appreciate your openness and polite and respectful interview style. I have watched a number of your presentations and have learned a lot. You ask regarding my position in this debate. I am a retired SDA pastor who has enjoyed 30 odd years serving small and medium sized churches and have made many friends and enjoyed it very much. I am not academic or a hotshot preacher I have just enjoyed looking after the members entrusted to my pastoral care, but I have had my fair share of frustrations mainly with church leadership. I agree with the concerns that your program highlights regarding Batchelor and Veith and their celeb status our church members dot on these fellows and it makes waves for us. Ted Wilson is a “chip of the old block” and is making life very difficult for us. Des Ford was treated abominably from GC to Union to Conference and even local church level. In spite of this he hung in there to the end a real credit to our church. I don’t want to say too much and spoil my chance of being the next GC President. Yes, I visited a SDA church for 3 months and did a bible study from Amazing Facts with their pastor for 3 months. I was very concerned that the pastor there was baptizing people at the end of the bible study just because they filled in the sheets and said yes. And it is wrong if any other church did it this way because it has nothing to do with being born again. And it has nothing to do with a personal relationship with Jesus and being led by the Holy Spirit. And I do not see the teaching of walking in faith by the Spirit, putting on Christ, becoming rooted in Christ in their teachings because ultimately, they are cut off from grace. Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace. GALATIANS 5. Although they will continue to say they are saved by grace, they say they are saved by grace in order to keep the law. We are saved by grace to walk in the Spirit of God because we have become the sons and daughters of God by His Spirit when we were born again. Keeping the law does not equal walking in the Spirit. You can keep the Sabbath and follow some man made rules (ie drive 1 hr to church but cant put gas in the car..) and never walk in the Spirit or be led by the Spirit of God. You can be led and convicted by the Holy Spirit in your heart to live a simple life to be able to give richly to the poor and you are obeying God by obeying the prompting of His spirit. Or you might feel guilty about wearing make up or jewelry because EGW said something about it and feel guilty and confused trying to make God happy because EGW said so and never have the heart of God for why you are doing it in the first place. God is not condemning the person for wearing make up or wearing jewelry. You have the freedom to do it, but if Holy Spirit convicts you, then you can obey his spirit and it is your personal testimony to others for your love and obedience to the Lord.
So what exactly is your definition of 'walking in the spirit' and obeying his commandments? No one except God can judge or read anyone's heart. Doing the right thing is part of love and obedience. True that one can do the right thing for the wrong reasons, but it is not up to you or I to determine who is saved or not. Jesus said, "if you love me, keep (obey/observe) my commandments..." Do we truly love Christ as He desires?
@@judithirizarry9952 without the law, we do not know what sin is because sin is breaking the law. Merely keeping the law does not make anyone righteous, becuase love is the fulfillment of the law. Merely not stealing or killing does not make us righteous or save us. We need the perfect love of God in our hearts. We cant have the perfect love of God in our hearts without first having his spirit which is given to us when we believe and are born again in the Spirit. His desire is that we arenpl born again and no longer walk in the flesh but walk in the spirit with fruits of the spirit. Merely keeping the law does not mean one is walking in then spirit. You can keep the law in your flesh but not be circumcised of the flesh.
@@judithirizarry9952 Romans chapter 4 Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, “So shall your offspring be.” 19 Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead-since he was about a hundred years old-and that Sarah’s womb was also dead. 20 Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, 21 being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised. 22 This is why “it was credited to him as righteousness.” 23 The words “it was credited to him” were written not for him alone, 24 but also for us, to whom God will credit righteousness-for us who believe in him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead. 25 He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification.
@@judithirizarry9952 righteousness is credited to us who believe in God. Abraham because he believed God would do what he promised him. Us because we believe God raise Christ Jesus from the dead. It is this righteousness that will get you in the Kingdom of Heaven. Not any keeping of the law. After that there is sactification. The problem i find with SDA is that they believe breaking of the Sabbath will ultimately lead to losing salvation. Eating of unclean foods will condem you to 2nd death. They say they are made rightous by faith but what the start in the spirit they end in the flesh. You are saved by keeping of the law and condemned by breaking of it. Paul says not to gratify the desires of the flesh with our freedom but walk in the spirit. Romans talks a lot on this topic. Paul doesnt say keep the law to walk in the spirit. So I believe there is a difference between walking in the spirit of God and keeping the law. The law only shows us our sins and makes us go closer to God and ask for His spirit to be stronger in our life.
@@judithirizarry9952 what is the right thing? David ate the showbread and he was not condemned. (He even broke the 10 commandments and yet god still kept his covenant to him). And God took his whole kingdom away from him and more. The bible does not mention Saul breaking one of the 10 commandments. What is the right thing and how do you discern or define it.

I’m an hour into this interview and, so far, nothing substantive has been said as to why someone should leave the SDA church. Please give me a reason why I should stick around and hear the rest. @@inhissteps4017 I’d have to be a denomination for me to be able to say that. And I quite categorically DID NOT say that. What EGW actually said was that everything she wrote is subject to scrutiny and if you find errors….speak up and correct it. It’s the conference that raised her to papal infallibility to be worshipped along with Christ. That’s the cult section. There are three sections to the sda group with a Spanish Inquisition short of a complete meeting (after offerings and token prayers). I would only consider her inspired and illuminating at best. If Christ is the centre of your life all of this opinion and discussion fades away along with an EGW opinion.
But EGW never accepted correction from mere men, whom she believed were not speaking for God as was she. The conference did indeed raise her to papal infallibility, and she accepted it and took advantage of her position in her spiritual abuse. There is simply no room for EGW. She's but a mere mortal who has died, and all she wrote should be put there as well.

Leaving SDA-ism is not leaving God. On the contrary, it brings one closer to God, because SDAs have the wrong Jesus. The Edenic diet was for a perfect and sinless race, which we are not. God's post-diluvian Rx was that of ruminant animals, clean fish, and by-products such as eggs and dairy. God *did not* attempt to get Israel back on such a diet....that's EGW talking, as well as those who've been brainwashed by her cultic drivel. In fact, one can readily see, manna alone was not what Israel consumed during the 40-year wilderness journey. Ask yourself this question: Why was Leviticus 11 given near the beginning of the journey?
Adventism is not from heaven, it is just another of the myriads of denominations founded upon it's own false interpretations of the Bible. One can safely come out of it and not be held guilty by God. God himself introduced flesh diet after the Flood, this allowance has never been revoked, in fact, Jesus ate flesh before his ascensionsion. Don't make meat a question of faith and salvation
Leaving Adventists leaving God what a rediculous statment and only someone when involved in a cult can say something like that. The true church has and always will be born again believers in JESUS Christ worldwide period, its not a denomination, building or association.
There was no hint that God was leading them back to Edenic diet. If it were so, he would have given them another command forbidding them to eat flesh, revoking the permission he gave to Noah after the Flood. Was Jesus a strict vegetarian?
Yes and no. They fail to see Jesus as the true Sabbath (cf. Heb 4:10, 11), and in so doing, make the day itself an idol instead of reminder of what JEHOVAH has done for them.
@@DrAD767 You still fail to explain why you deny the Sabbath written in scripture and follow a Church that is not upholding the commandment but following a church leader that is not following scripture. The Catholic Church claims privilege that should only be for God Himself. My opinion the Catholic Church may have done many good things but has also done much evil. Their History is very mixed between good deeds and very evil deeds. I will never be catholic. That church has even changed the Ten Commandments to fit the narrative of that church. The 7th Day is not the catholic “sun day”!
@@cdmcintyre1854What are you taking about?! I observe Sabbath because Jesus is our Sabbath. But unlike SDAs, I don’t worship the day, nor do I bash people about the day being the seal of God. Jesus, via the Holy spirit, is the seal of God; moreover, that JEHOVAH is the only true God. Hast thou not read the Scripture?
@@DrAD767 Jesus is your Savior by his sacrifice of himself on the cross. He did not change any of the Commandments the Catholic Church did that in the year 336 AD and even admit this fact. You may disagree with the SDA BUT the truth is still the truth. Facts are still facts. Wishful thinking or a decree by a church or its leader even if you give him fancy titles like “Vicar of Christ” or Pope he is still just another human leader of just another church. Catholic is no more valid than Baptist, Morman, Pentecostal, Jehovah Witness or SDA. I’m more inclined toward SDA than any other because they at least have the right Sabbath (7th Day) not the false 1st Day of the Catholics.
@@DrAD767 Jesus is your Savior the Sabbath is still Saturday and the Catholic Church made Sunday the false “sabbath” and most Protestant Christians are protesting the parts of Catholicism that they disagree with but MOST Protestant Churches accept the false “catholic sabbath, ie Sunday” as the true Sabbath because they’re unfamiliar with History. SDA absolutely believe in Jesus and also believe they should obey God’s Law the ten Commandments instead of the Catholic Church and the Pope’s “rules”!
Satan is sitting with his hand under his chin with his wicked smile enjoying all this Dr. Davis. He delights in all this. Are you familiar with Revelation 12;17 ? Bet you're gonna say it doesn't apply to the SDA Church.
She made no claims about being a prophet. She writes excellent books that all align with the Bible, but my favorite is "Step To Christ Book." She also describes having an extraordinary vision in which she is left breathless and without a pulse for several hours while holding a heavy bible open with only one hand. In my opinion, she was used by God to uphold the law as everyone has forgotten the divine rule. i do not focus on a person as long it is align with the Bible advice.

Hey boys. Why were given prophecy? According to the Bible it’s so that you will have faith. Is the aim to argue in circles or have faith. A constant argument over these issues may shake someone else’s faith and that’s worth thinking about. Is your aim to be seen as a brilliant scholar or as a man of love who cares about the weak. If for one moment your comment is my main aim is to make it to heaven then you more than likely won’t qualify. It’s your concern to help find their way to Christ and charter to spread the gospel. @@SDAQandA in short “confidence in Gods promise”. He will return. He does love. He does forgive (no skeletons or penance necessary). He will stick by you through everything. When He said He created, He did. When He says there are certain foods that are clean, they are. When He says you will change after you make Him the centre of your life, you will. I have met many who are preparing their bodies for a heavenly diet 😂 when God promises you will change for that life in the twinkling of an eye. To help you get your head around it ; prophecy is not necessarily His will. It’s His witness. To God time is nothing. Let’s say He goes forward and witnesses what is going to happen, then writes it down as a witness. Is that worth arguing over? Do you think you might change prophecy? Yes it’s the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Arguing over the fine details of date claiming takes one away from learning more about the character of Christ. Satan loves it. Men love to boast their piety and intellect about the scriptures. Intimidating others with their radiant glow of knowledge and all things Holy. To me it’s like the seven dwarfs arguing over who is the tallest. To me it’s a demonstration that knowing Christs character has become boring and to procrastinate on that journey we bind up in highly intellectual distractions which satisfies our boredom and distracts from our great commission. I have been treated very harshly by the “club” who much prefer the slumber of “learned hypocrisy “, a fine art encouraged by the dog and pony show by their endorsement of the echo chamber, but remember we are instructed to let the wheat grow with the tares and the harvest will sort the husks. Our lack of faith in Gods ability to do that has us splitting the herd. Many do that in (I suspect) the chance that they will become eternally recognised as the Mosaic intellect that led the sheep to the incredibly enlightened stratosphere of knowing e prophecy. Written in history no less, not in any way affecting it’s outcome beyond occupying the smug podium where it can be shouted “I told you so” with “had you listened, you could be saved like me”, only to watch the quiet disciple who loved and served his fellow pilgrim greet the Groom who spoke to him on a first name basis and they quietly chatted in warm embracing tones. Just that alone would give you a new definition of wailing and gnashing teeth. Be very careful

For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day. Matthew 12:8 The Lord of the Sabbath Sabbath Exodus 20:9-10 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work,... Is Saturday really sacred? Is sabbath a day of the week, or is sabbath a day of rest? Sabbath is about counting. After you have labored six days, take the seventh day off and stay home. That is how the commandment is written. It says nothing about which day of the week is which. The commandment does not say anything about going to Seventh Day Adventist church on Saturday, or any other church on Sunday. When Jesus told the people they needed to eat his flesh and drink his blood, most of them went away and quit following Him. They did not understand what he was saying. He was speaking spiritually; they were not having the same conversation. When the Pharisees accused Jesus of breaking the sabbath, they were not having the same conversation. When Jesus says He is Lord of the sabbath, He is not talking about a day of the week. He is saying He is the Lord of the rest. Everything that the Old Testament says is a shadow of things to come. Once they are come, there is no more purpose for the shadow. The shadow is a prophetic rehearsal. Jesus is the One who casts the shadow. Once He came He fulfilled it. When it says He fulfilled it, it does not mean He perfectly kept the commands, although He did. Fulfilled means He fulfilled the prophecies. He brought them to pass. Jesus is the Sabbath. He is the rest, which is what sabbath means. When Jesus returns, the millennial kingdom will be the Sabbath rest of the earth. That is what the seventh day represents. It has nothing to do with what day of the week you call the seventh. It is about looking forward to that eternal Sabbath rest. If you make it about a particular day of the week you are doing the exact same thing the Pharisees did. You make man for the sabbath. The sabbath was a gift to man so that we would not work ourselves to death, and work our employees and servants to death. It was given so we could catch our breath and recharge our batteries spiritually, mentally and physically. Once every seven days, take a break. It is not about making a particular day of the week holy. It is about setting apart one day a week to focus on your relationship with God and not be distracted with the worries and labors of life. When you make it about the day, you completely miss the point; it then becomes a form of idolatry. It is not even about which day of the week. It is about one day in seven, take a rest. It is not the day of the week that is holy, it is the rest. Which day is number seven depends on when you start your work week. It does not say anything about going to church or synagogue. It says stay put. Mark 7:13 Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye. Exodus 16:29 See, for that the LORD hath given you the sabbath, therefore he giveth you on the sixth day the bread of two days; abide ye every man in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day. Exodus 16:30 So the people rested on the seventh day. Exodus 20:10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: A New Covenant A covenant is an agreement between two parties. In this case, it is a covenant between God and Israel. As long as both parties abide by the terms of the agreement, the covenant will continue. If either party violates the terms of the agreement, the covenant is broken. Israel broke the terms of the agreement because it was too burdensome. They could not keep it. The new covenant is not burdensome at all. It is easy to keep. Matthew 11:28-30 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. He gives us rest because He is the Lord of rest, or the Lord of the sabbath. When Jesus says "the law," He is talking about the entire word of God from Genesis to Revelation. He is not just talking about the old covenant. He is not just talking about the first five books of the Bible. Torah does not mean just the first five books of the Bible, the way the Jews look at it. Torah is the whole Bible. If the New Testament says the old covenant has vanished away, it has vanished away. That is the law. Jeremiah 31:31-34 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD: But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. Hebrews 8:6 But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises. For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord. For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more. In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away. Hebrews 7:11-12 If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron? For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law. Hebrews 7:19 For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God.
This is how the law is written on your heart. Galatians 6:2 Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. John 13:14-17 If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet. For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you. 16 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him. If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them. John 13:34-35 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another. John 15:9-12 As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Galatians 5:13-16 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another. This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. 1 John 4:19-21 We love him, because he first loved us. If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also. 1 John 3:23-24 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us. If you are only looking at it as the Levitical law, you are only thinking carnally. 1 John 5:3-5 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? John 6:28-29 Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD: Deuteronomy 6:4 The Meaning of One The Omnipresence of God Do you understand how the God, who is one, can appear as a man standing before the tent of Abraham while He is still enthroned in heaven and still be present in every place in creation all at the same time? It is because He is the Father and He is the Son and He is the Holy Spirit. If you do not understand that, He is a stone of stumbling to you. 1 Corinthians 6:17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one Spirit. God's Essence The Spirit is God's essence. Spirit is what God is, and the Spirit He is is the Holy Spirit. That is the missing key to understanding "the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. The reason the Father and the Son are One is because they are the Holy Spirit. This scripture makes it plain. One Body The Spirit is also how we are one in them when we believe. Romans 8:9-11 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, as we are one: [in the same way] I in them and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. John 17:24-26 Father, I will that they also, whom thou has given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world. O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me. And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them. John 14:16-18 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. John 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. The Spirit Permeates Every Place in Heaven and Earth Jesus comes to us in the Holy Spirit. The Spirit does not leave them, it emanates from them. That is how God is omnipresent. His Spirit permeates every place in heaven and earth. John 20:21-22 Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you. And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost: Matthew 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; Luke 11:13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him? Living Water In the last two chapters of Revelation where it talks about the new heaven and the new earth, we find no mention of the Holy Spirit. However, the Holy Spirit is there in the Father and the Son. What we do see is a river of life flowing out of the throne. Revelation 22:1 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. John 7:37-39 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.) John 4:10-14 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water. The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water? Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle? Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
The Trinity Doctrine Trinity isn’t a good explanation of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Look at these references to the Holy Spirit. These are from the KJV. Holy Spirit Spirit of God Spirit of Jesus Christ Holy Ghost Spirit of Christ Spirit of the Lord His Spirit Spirit of grace Spirit of our God the Spirit Spirit of adoption Spirit of your Father My Spirit holy Spirit of God Spirit of His Son the Spirit itself holy Spirit of promise Spirit of the living God his Holy Spirit Spirit which is of God Spirit of life in Christ the Lord is that Spirit Spirit of life from God The way the Spirit is described in the scripture as being "of God" and "of His Son" and being "His Spirit", it does not sound like a third person. I do not think the Spirit is a third person. I think it is what God is. Just as you and I are human beings, the Father and Son are Holy Spirit. The idea “trinity” was not conceived until about a hundred and fifty years after the crucifixion. It was not until the Synod of Alexandria in 362 A. D. that this hypothesis became doctrine. Catholic Encyclopedia Trinity: The Dogma of the Trinity: "The Trinity is the term employed to signify the central doctrine of the Christian religion - the truth that in the unity of the Godhead there are THREE PERSONS, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, these THREE PERSONS being truly distinct one from another." "The Persons are CO-ETERNAL and CO-EQUAL: all alike are uncreated and omnipotent." "In Scripture there is as yet no single term by which the Divine Persons are denoted together. The word TPIAS (of which the Latin TRINITAS is a translation) is first found in Theophilus of Antioch about A.D. 180. He speaks of “the TRINITY of God [the Father], His WORD and His WISDOM” (“AD. AUTO1”., II, 15, P.G., VI, 1078). The term may, of course have been in use before his time. Shortly afterwards it appears in its Latin form of TRINITAS in Tertullian (“De pud”, c. xxi, P.G., II 1026). In the next century the word is in general use. It is found in many passages of origin. "The writers of this school contend that The doctrine of the Trinity, as professed by the Church, is not contained in the New Testament, but it was first formulated in the second century and received final approbation in the fourth century, as the result of the Arian and Macedonian controversies." The New Catholic Encyclopedia - 1967, VOL. XIV, PAGE 299: The formulation “one God in three Persons" was not solidly established, certainly not fully assimilated into Christian life and its profession of faith, prior to the end of the fourth century. But it is precisely this formulation that first claimed to title “The Trinitarian Dogma.” Among the apostolic fathers, there had been nothing even remotely approaching such a mentality or perspective. God is a Spirit John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. Spirit is what God is, and the Spirit He is is the Holy Spirit. Philippians 1:19 For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ, Luke 11:9-10 And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Luke 11:13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
@@DrAD767 I was even thinking next week. Or the one after. Wednesday evening your time around 7-8pm. I’ve been doing some programs debunking specifics of the 1844 dates (457bc, 2300 days, Christs crucifixion etc). So I’m keen to talk about that with you. But while also addressing something I’ve noticed lately. 1844 apologists are saying that the iJ and the sanctuary doctrine still stand, even if the 2300 days (etc) is wrong! I find this disingenuous and another slippery way to wiggle out of being wrong.
LG Lucid the 2 fools - EGW and James White who started a false church in 1844.. Today Christianity is trying to clear up their mess.. Take off your blinders and appreciate the work these two saints are doing
From the title, I didn't really have to listen or watch much of this video. Bottom line, dude was a plant from the jump. He joined the church, worked his way in, and now trying to make it look like he was a legitimate believer. He was on two payrolls the whole time. Who do you think you fooling dude? The host and all the rest of the people that support this broadcast are plants too. You're getting away with it now but all of you are going to burst hell wide open. Be careful though, sometimes Justice is meted out by God before the judgment. Balaam, King Herod, Achor, all of those folks that rebelled in the desert on several occasions; the prophets of Baal in The showdown on the mountain, the boys eaten by two she-bears. Absalon, Joab, Haman, Sodom and Gomorrah, Goliath, Jezebel... You wicked turncoats had better be thinking hard cuz your time may be coming soon. 🤔
Reuel Ray, you didnot watch this video till the end but have a fat lot to say.. Why you so angry?? shouldn't you be glad that God delivered Dr Davis from a false religion? false health message??

While I am waiting for my second tennis match, I thought I would watch this video. I can't do it. This is boring. Same old story, same old song. You folks are mundane.. The message however is the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth so help me God...Out...
That’s right, he’s a plant working under a sophisticated plot to bring down the true church! That makes a hell of a lot more sense than someone who genuinely joined the church, then over time done some study and realised it’s just an 1800’s cult from america with unbiblical teachings and left.
Nothing new. He will not be the last to turn on the Adventist Church. Note, Lucifer accused God and was thrown out of heaven. Judas betrayed Jesus etc. Esmie Branner and her husband became time setters for the coming of Jesus and when it didn't happen, left the church and started to attack the church. If anything starts a church, there will always be followers. I'm sure Allen looking to get rich after the fools who grab at any doctrine. False prophets are everywhere.
@@DrAD767 I have been accused of the same thing since I left the church and wrote, "It's okay not to be a Seventh-Day Adventist" in 2008. I spent a couple years and many thousands of dollars in research. I once added up how much I would need to make to break even and I think it was about $50,000 and the book never came close to making even half of that. My husband and my TH-cam channel has never made a cent. We have given so much of our own personal funds to our ministry knowing we would never get anything back. My husband works therefore we are not in need of funding. We do it out of love. It is so insulting when you sacrifice year after year to honor God and save people from the falsities of Ellen White's writings, and then people accuse you of doing it for money. All that to say I am sorry. I wanted you to know we have a similar circumstance and we know where you are coming from. God bless.
Hello Kenneth,
You would be greatly blessed by listening to the “old Church Classical Christian Radio” on TH-cam.

Blessings.
No worries, we understand what you meant. You are a blessing. Peace.

The series can be found here:
th-cam.com/play/PLPhBuUC9tVmXVm451340W0c3fQpEbdue2.html
If you do check into it I'd love to hear your perspective.
🙏🏻❤️
The SDA was created by people who couldn't or wouldn't see what was self evident. It's foundation is a false prophecy interpretation of Daniel 8:14. They just continued to build on that faulty foundation because their pride wouldn't allow them to repent of or admit that they had fallen for a false prophet. They have since built up false doctrine upon false doctrine.
@@lonnierandall7882 Original Hebrew had two different words for vision in Daniel 8/9, (Chazown and Mareh) look at the Strong’s concordance.
In Daniel 8:14-15 while Daniel was in a vision (Chazown) wanting to understand the vision (Chazown) he saw an appearance of a man (vision aka Mareh)
Daniel 8:14 And he said unto me, Unto 👉two thousand and three hundred days👈; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.
Daniel 8:15 And it came to pass, when I, even I Daniel, had seen the vision (CHAZOWN), and sought for the meaning, 👉then, behold, there stood before me as the appearance of a man.👈
Take note that Gabriel is involved in this verse about the MAREH like Daniel 9. 👇
Daniel 8:16 And I heard a 👉man's voice👈 between the banks of Ulai, which called, and said, 👉Gabriel, make this man to understand the vision (MAREH).
Daniel didn’t understand the MAREH 👇
Daniel 8:27 And I Daniel fainted, and was sick certain days; afterward I rose up, and did the king's business; and I was astonished at the vision (MAREH), 👉but none understood it.👈
Daniel finished the chapter saying he didn’t understand the MAREH and the previous verse that the CHAZOWN was shut up as it will be for many days / time of the end v17.
Gabriel who Daniel had seen in the large vision aka CHAZOWN of Daniel 8 returned as stated above v21
Gabriel will now give him understanding of the MAREH. (Remember that the Chazown would be understood at the time of the end. So clearly the second vision (MAREH) can be understood.)
Daniel 9:22 And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, O Daniel, 👉I am now come forth to give thee skill and understanding👈. (Remember understand what he didn’t in Daniel 8:27)
Daniel 9:23 At the beginning of thy supplications the commandment came forth, and 👉I am come to shew thee👈; for thou art greatly beloved: therefore understand the matter, and 👉consider the vision👈 (MAREH).
Daniel 12:4 ...'But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.'
Daniel 12:9 ...'And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.'
So this vision was to be sealed until the time of the end.
What is self evident. Many have made it their life's mission to discredit and show SDA errors. I've been a lifelong SDA member and studied our fundamental beliefs and doctrines...there is nothing in them to refute or discredit...each doctrine is biblical. Please share your concerns.
@@lonnierandall7882 you keep harping on the evidence of error, but you fail to state what is that error!

What a great and easy listening, and interesting program. THanks Q&A❤
Would you have an Adventist on your show to respond to all the ex-SDA’s comments about the SDA church? It would be fair wouldn’t it?

@@SDAQandA Well said!
Is it not possible that the
70 weeks prophesy is not a subset of the 2300 days (actually evenings and mornings)? There are a lot of possibilities.

It's a definite sign of the end. God's people are getting out of Babylon. The fact is, Babylon, which is the SDA church, has fallen.
I'm SDA. So she has plagues too, right? Please tell us more about her plagues? 🤣🤣🤣

Question for SDAs. *Does God keep the Sabbath?*
Is heaven a sphere? Where is God?

EGW does. And EGW is Adventism.
Dear my brother David;
I am a mathematician, not a pastor.

Thanks Dr Allen. So refreshing to hear that you didn't throw the baby out with the bath water as a lot of ex Adventist do. The state of the dead and keeping all the commandments that Jesus continually said to do. Dietary laws of the Bible. Ect ECT. ❤
❤️🙏🏻
His testimony reveals that he was never really one of us.
One of us? Define what it means to be one of ‘you’?
"One of us" is a person who, through faith in the teachings of Jesus Christ, has accepted Him as their Lord and Savior and, by the power of the Holy Spirit, is walking and growing in Christ. This faith includes a commitment to being part of Christ's remnant church in the last days, which keeps the commandments of God and has the testimony of Jesus. Their mission is to proclaim the Three Angels' Messages of Revelation 14.

What defines adventusm is there unique doctrine. Nowhere in the bible support their beliefs. The inherited the Sabbath doctrine from someone else but added their spin on it. Blue law, Catholic Church, Pope, Constantine.
they were underpaying you .... thanku very much for sharig your stories 😘
No one will leave the remnant, for they are they who have the true testimony of Jesus Christ. Read Chapter 12 carefully.

Yep… the SDA church convinced my dying grandfather to leave all his money to them in his will, leaving his own family with nothing.

The Bible says percept upon percept, line upon line, here little there a little. Let God be your main source, BIBLE
For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept, Line upon line, line upon line, Here a little, there a little.” For with stammering lips and another tongue He will speak to this people,”
Isaiah 28:7-11 NKJV
Many of the Sabbatarian Churches also try to enforce the Jewish meat distinctions upon the Gentile Christians. However, they fail to read to whom the text of Leviticus 11 is addressed. Lev.11 vs 1 “And the LORD spake unto Moses and to Aaron, saying unto them, 2 *Speak unto the children of Israel* saying, These are the beasts which ye shall eat among all the beasts that are on the earth.”
Like the Jewish Sabbath, they take what is given to the Jews and the nation of physical Israel and attempt to enforce it on Christianity. But as for food and meats you should Genesis closer for God in Gen.9 vs 3 says, "3EVERY MOVING THING that liveth shall be meat for you; EVEN as the green herb have I given you all things" Indeed the Word of God set apart for the Gentiles that *"every moving thing that lives shall be meat for you just as the green herb".*
Gen.1 vs 29And God said, *Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. 30And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat and it was so.*
That is way Paul writing to Timothy said first 1Tim.4 vs 4 “For EVERY CREATURE of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving".
It is only here that “EVERY CREATURE” is established as good for food and NOTHING TO BE REFUSED, as well as “sanctified by the Word of God” by Scripture.
NOW FROM CHRIST
*The problem with Sabbatarians is that they think the animals were unclean in themselves. They were not. They are ONLY ceremonially unclean.*
Mk.7 vs 14And when he had called all the people unto him, he said unto them, Hearken unto me every one of you, and understand vs 15There is NOTHING from without a man, that entering into him can defile him vs but the things which come out of him, those are they that defile the man. 16 *If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.* 17And when he was entered into the house from the people, his disciples asked him concerning the parable. 18And he saith unto them, Are ye so without understanding also? Do ye not perceive, that WHATSOEVER THING FROM WITHOUT entereth into the man, IT CANNOT DEFILE HIM;
19Because it entereth not into his heart, but into the belly, and goeth out into the draught, purging all meats?
Christ *" thus purifying all foods??*
Mk.7 vs 18-19 includes these words of Christ regarding unclean meats, "18So He said to them, ?Are you thus without understanding also? *Do you NOT perceive that whatever enters a man from outside cannot defile him,* 19?because it does not enter his heart but his stomach, and is eliminated, thus purifying all foods?"
The NAB translates vs "19 since it enters not the heart but the stomach and passes out into the latrine?? (Thus he declared all foods clean.)" That is the text the parentheses are not mine.
The NRSV says " 19 since it enters, NOT the heart but the stomach, and goes out into the sewer? (Thus he declared all foods clean.)"
CEV " 19 It doesn't go into your heart, but into your stomach, and then out of your body.? By saying this, Jesus meant that all foods were fit to eat. "
The NCV "19 It does not go into the mind, but into the stomach. Then it Goes out of the body.? (
(NCV)When Jesus said this, he meant that no longer was any food unclean for people to eat.)
The Sabbatarians have prided themselves in the fact that they live a Jewish life but Christ admonishes us in this manner, “15There is nothing from without a man, that entering into him can defile him vs but the things which come out of him, those are they that defile the man.
For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.”
Like vegetation, there is a vast difference between foods that not good for you to eat, and foods that are "unclean". 9: speaks of all foods or meat being eatable even as the green herb, *it means, just that!*
Col. 2:16 *Forbids judging anyone in regard to what they eat or drink!*
I said all along this has nothing to do with unclean meats. The world as swallowed Chinese propaganda that it started in a food market.

[KJV Romans 14:4]
"Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand."
=> Jesus said: "ye shall know them by their fruits..." (Matthew 7:16)
And why would they be busy sharing the Gospel of Christ, when casting blame on others & judging another man's servant ...comes in more naturally?! 🤔
Don't accuse those casting judgment on the SDA church when they believe all those who worship on Sunday are the "whore of babylon" and receive the mark of the beast. SDA barely consider themselves protestants and actually condemn protestants...
Is he still conservative? I would love to know his views on LGBTQ people?

What are your thoughts on the teachings of Prof. Walter Veith?
I’d love to know what Dr Allen Davis thinks. To my way of thinking, and I might be wrong, but maybe he has found a way to milk Adventists
@@SDAQandA I am not sure that he has found a way to milk Adventists.

You could get Tonstad’s contact details from the year book. I have just finished reading two of his books “God of Sense and Traditions of Nonsense” and his commentary “Revelation” which he was asked to do for “paideia Commentaries on the New Testament” both of them really good.

Romans chapter 4
Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, “So shall your offspring be.”
19 Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead-since he was about a hundred years old-and that Sarah’s womb was also dead.
20 Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God,
21 being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised.
22 This is why “it was credited to him as righteousness.”
23 The words “it was credited to him” were written not for him alone,
24 but also for us, to whom God will credit righteousness-for us who believe in him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead.
Saul listned to his impatient soliders thinking it was the right thing with all the right and good intentions and sacrificed to God before Samuel arrived. And God took his whole kingdom away from him and more. The bible does not mention Saul breaking one of the 10 commandments.

Leaving Aventism, leaving God.
Was the God given Edenic diet not the best for God's new creation?
God even tried to get the Istaelites back to the Edenic diet, but they wanted their perverted lust for flesh.

SDA is definitely correct about the sabbath.😊
@@DrAD767 Jesus is your Savior by his sacrifice of himself on the cross. He did not change any of the Commandments the Catholic Church did that in the year 336 AD and even admit this fact. Love you’re contributions. Thank you for taking the time to express your thoughts and to offer up your challenges. Can you define faith for me?

Matthew 12:8
The Lord of the Sabbath
Sabbath
Exodus 20:9-10 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work,...
Exodus 20:10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
A New Covenant
A covenant is an agreement between two parties.

Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.

Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD: Deuteronomy 6:4
The Meaning of One
The Omnipresence of God
Do you understand how the God, who is one, can appear as a man standing before the tent of Abraham while He is still enthroned in heaven and still be present in every place in creation all at the same time? It is because He is the Father and He is the Son and He is the Holy Spirit. If you do not understand that, He is a stone of stumbling to you.
1 Corinthians 6:17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one Spirit.
God's Essence
The Spirit is God's essence. Spirit is what God is, and the Spirit He is is the Holy Spirit. That is the missing key to understanding "the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. The reason the Father and the Son are One is because they are the Holy Spirit. This scripture makes it plain.
One Body
The Spirit is also how we are one in them when we believe.
Romans 12:5 So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.
1 Corinthians 10:17 For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread.
1 Corinthians 12:12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
In the exact same way, Jesus said,...
John 10:30 I and my Father are one.
John 17:11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one as we are [in the same way] .
John 17:20-23 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe in me through their word; that they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
The Spirit Permeates Every Place in Heaven and Earth
Jesus comes to us in the Holy Spirit. The Spirit does not leave them, it emanates from them. That is how God is omnipresent. His Spirit permeates every place in heaven and earth.
John 20:21-22 Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you. And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:
Matthew 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you;
Luke 11:13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
Living Water
In the last two chapters of Revelation where it talks about the new heaven and the new earth, we find no mention of the Holy Spirit.
(But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)
John 4:10-14 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.
The Trinity Doctrine
Trinity isn’t a good explanation of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Look at these references to the Holy Spirit. These are from the KJV.
Holy Spirit Spirit of God Spirit of Jesus Christ
Holy Ghost Spirit of Christ Spirit of the Lord
His Spirit Spirit of grace Spirit of our God
the Spirit Spirit of adoption Spirit of your Father
My Spirit holy Spirit of God Spirit of His Son
the Spirit itself holy Spirit of promise Spirit of the living God
his Holy Spirit Spirit which is of God Spirit of life in Christ
the Lord is that Spirit Spirit of life from God
The way the Spirit is described in the scripture as being "of God" and "of His Son" and being "His Spirit", it does not sound like a third person.
Catholic Encyclopedia
Trinity: The Dogma of the Trinity:
"The Trinity is the term employed to signify the central doctrine of the Christian religion - the truth that in the unity of the Godhead there are THREE PERSONS, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, these THREE PERSONS being truly distinct one from another."
"The Persons are CO-ETERNAL and CO-EQUAL: all alike are uncreated and omnipotent."
"In Scripture there is as yet no single term by which the Divine Persons are denoted together.
"The writers of this school contend that The doctrine of the Trinity, as professed by the Church, is not contained in the New Testament, but it was first formulated in the second century and received final approbation in the fourth century, as the result of the Arian and Macedonian controversies."
The New Catholic Encyclopedia - 1967, VOL. XIV, PAGE 299:
The formulation “one God in three Persons" was not solidly established, certainly not fully assimilated into Christian life and its profession of faith, prior to the end of the fourth century. But it is precisely this formulation that first claimed to title “The Trinitarian Dogma.” Among the apostolic fathers, there had been nothing even remotely approaching such a mentality or perspective.
God is a Spirit
John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
Spirit is what God is, and the Spirit He is is the Holy Spirit.
Philippians 1:19 For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ,
Luke 11:9-10 And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
Luke 11:13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

@@voicelifefellowship you want more? Okay, I'm going to watch the entire video to give you more rope to spiritually hang yourself. You can laugh but it ain't gona be funny jumping around in dem flames like Michael Jackson, and singing the song 'Hot Pants' by James Brown...Awwwww....😮🕺🔥
While I am waiting for my second tennis match, I thought I would watch this video.
I can't do it. This is boring. Same old story, same old song. You folks are mundane.. Y'all be like: "duhh, I left the church". You people are a dime a dozen. When I first joined, I remember hearing people talking about 'Sadventist'. You ship jumpers are Madventist, y'all mad at the world. This is my last correspondence, I have better things to do with my time. Y'all gona be dancing on dem hot coals doing the 'Hokey Pokey'. I hope I don't join you. It's a struggle trying to walk the straight and narrow and stay truthful. If I don't make it, it won't be because I kicked the truth to the curb. You looking at the people.
@@reuelray In Germany we have a saying about such rants and what appear to be paranoid delusions: “Ich glaube, er hat nicht alle Tassen im Schrank!”
What are you saying? I fear you may be breaking the 9th commandment
@@SDAQandA I think I’d have to agree. Getting rich has no place in my thinking. It tells me, however, where people’s minds are.
God bless.
Yep and Ellen White is the false prophet Sharon needs to stop deferring to.
'False prophets are everywhere', You are quite right about this, one is in SDA church too
