Ahhhhhh Chesterton....He helped me a lot in my conversion journey. St. Ignatius of Antioch was huge in my conversion, warning the early church not to be disobedient to the bishops and avoid schism at all costs. It was Christ Jesus who implored the church would be as one.

I studied religion at an Adventist college, taught in their high schools for seven years and then quit to convert to Catholicism. I read my way into the church mostly. Belloc was a big influence for me.
Thank you. THERESA, for saying that as "Catholics we love our SDA brothers". We Catholics don't slander other denominations. We pray that the Holy Spirit will descend upon them and return to Catholicism, the one and only church founded by our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
So many common denominators in watching conversion stories. One of them is the reverence converts have in receiving Jesus Christ in the Eucharist. Too many cradle Catholics unfortunately take it for granted.
I am as well as. Especially when the Adventist Church talked about the Sunday law but they allowed the United States to close churches during covid. How would the church comply with the lamb-like beast but put up a fight against the Sunday law?

Wow! Simple, folks that were not truly converted here. I don't think an SDA needs EGW to know the truth and what the Bible truly says about the Seventh day Sabbath, for instance. ..The RCC will TELL YOU...."The Catholic Church still claims responsibility for the CHANGE of God's Sabbath from the seventh day of the week (Saturday) to the first day of the week (Sunday)--- and boldly challenges Christians who believe that the SCRIPTURES should be their sole authority in spiritual matters to be logically consistent and become Seventh-day Adventist Christians." I remember reading that William Miller, after his first end time prediction didn’t come through, made a second prediction. When that one also didn’t happen the Millerites forever called it “The Great Day of Disappointment”. It’s sad, I also read that they had quit their jobs and sold all their possessions in anticipation of the rapture.
it really was. unfortunately, most people try to pin this as a 'failure' in Adventism, when Miller was actually a southern baptist, but there were multiple denominations who studied the Scriptures and believed Daniel was speaking of the 2nd Coming, rather than His transition going from the Holy to the Most Holy - as Revelation 4 to 5 shows us. the first Christians got His coming wrong and the 2nd Christians got His 2nd coming wrong.

I like the point that sermons and prayers can be online, we don't have to be present in the church, but not Eucharist. The mass is communitarian from the early church on.
😢😢attending church is one of the 10 commandments. Believers/Christians meet to worship God and thank Him for everything He does for us. We meet because we love and care for each other. We help and strengthen each other. Read Hebrews 10: 24-25.
I work in Loma Linda the "mecca" of Adventists, met a lot ex-adventists (professors, teachers, eyc) now evangelical converts they have an ample ministry working among Adventists.

My wife is Adventist. She's not very observant as she doesn't go to church. However she is pretty religious and we do have some recent disagreements on salvation and I noticed Adventists have some big contributions with sole scriptora when it comes to Ellen G White. I tried to show her a video about the veneration of Mary and it's roots in the church and using the early church fathers in the argument. She says it's not in the bible and showed me an Adventist video in which the pastor started quoting Ellen G White which isn't in the bible.
“Sola Scriptura” is not in the Holy Scriptures either. That is a man made dogma and is not founded anywhere in Christianity prior to the 1500’s. As for Mother Mary, she is the vessel chosen by God to bring God amoung men. It is an identical thing as the Ark of the covenant in Exodus. God was excrutiatingly exacting in what He expected of the Ark. It was to hold manna, stones and some other mere “things”. If He was that painstaking about the box that was to hold mere “things” one must ask what Hiis intention was for us to understand about the Human vessel that God Loves to bring about His Son to redeem us who He loves? That question of Mother Mary being respected, loved and venerated - NOT WORSHIPPED - is enigmatically compelling. God clearly does not expect us to dismiss Mother Mary who Jesus Christ gave to us as Our Mother from His dying words in agony on the Cross of Calvary. There’s more there than meets our simple eyes unless of course we think on it enough to see it!

Why would you admire the SDAs for being so staunch & unmoving over their WRONG position on the Sabbath. Jesus rose from the dead on Sunday. The Apostles were given the Holy Spirit at Pentecost on a Sunday. The early Christians broke bread on a Sunday. John was taken up into Heaven in Revelation on a Sunday. Jesus is the Lord of the Sabbath. He is the Alpha of the New Covenant. It is only fitting that we worship Him on the first day of the week.

@@tony1685 Hi again Tony. Adventists misunderstand Catholics view of the Sabbath. Catholics never changed the Sabbath. That is a fantasy in Adventists' head. Adventists really think that there is only one day a week that God requires worship of Him. Again that is totally fabricating whole cloth out of scripture--there is no such thing as a "day" of worship. At the Temple of Jerusalem, worship was EVERY DAY. Israel had one day of REST, not one day a week of worship. Do any Protestants worship daily? Not that I know of. Catholics and Orthodox are the only ones who follow the worship traditions of Israel. Catholics have DAILY worship. We receive the "our daily bread" from the Father as Jesus taught us to ask of Him in the Our Father prayer. Ellen White's writings/visions make no sense to Catholics because they speak of a right day of worship as if there is a wrong day of worship. Catholics have a day of obligation but not a day of worship. Every single DAY Catholics worship. In fact, statistically (look it up) there are several times MORE Catholics in the United States who worship on Saturday than Adventists do. I got those statistics from the GC website and I got Catholic statistics from the USCCB. Catholics ALWAYS have worshipped on Saturday. Always will. We were worshipping on Sabbath for 1860 years before Adventists were. Ellen White's writings in the Great Controversy are so full of misunderstandings and historical errors that the SDA church had to delete, rewrite and foot note a great deal. But the fundamental mistake Ellen made was this idea that the entire world would force Adventists to worship on Sunday and even martyr them for worshipping on the 7th day. The reason this is completely wrong, is that there is no such thing in scripture as a correct day of worship.

We don't need Ellen White to show us the Sabbath truth it's in the Bible. There are other churches that understand the Sabbath that are not sda. How could the eucharist be the literal body of Christ? That's called cannibalism. Jesus clearly said he was the word of God. If we eat the bread (word) it will be assimilated into our body, heart and mind then we are truly one with him and the Father. I'm sorry these former sdas did not see the beautiful truths in the writings of Ellen White who is the lesser light that can lead us to the greater light the Holy scriptures. Even though we don't need her writings for salvation. They're are dishonest/honest people in all religions. We are not to look at people as our measure of truth but Christ alone. Im an Adventist, and i can not believe what iam hearing from this interviews. Adventsits are a Bible believing church. The Bible is the superior light as it is the word of God. The fundamental beliefs on which the church is grounded is purely Bible based. Ellen G White as prophet was inspired by God and most of what she wrote were directed by God. Her writings are backed up by scripture. SDA chruch believes in God. Adventists read the bible and believe in the word of God. Why would one go finding answers to their questions from human writings than finding answers in the bible itseft thorugh the power of the holy spiriit. Communion service is biblical. If we do not confess Jesus He will not confess us. All of us to different degrees are called to this. Catholics say Mary was forever virgin. Yet BIBLE says Jesus had brothers and sisters. Mary was not perpetually virgin. Mk 6:3, Mat 13:55, Mat 27:56, Mar 6:3, Mar 15:40, Mar 15:47. 4. Yet Num 5:17 says “holy water” was water used to test adulterous women in OT temple. Hardly the same. Those were for Old Covenant Jews. Not New Testament Christians. 9. Catholics say Peter was pope - bishop of all bishops. Yet BIBLE says Peter was just a leader of the Jerusalem Church. Bible says nothing of the office of bishop of bishops. Gal 2:9, Mat 16:18. 10. Catholics say there is a seat of Peter. Yet BIBLE says nothing about it. Jesus said “not to lord over others”. 11. Catholics has clergy priesthood. Bible says clergy priesthood was done away with in New Testament. There is no clergy priesthood in NT. Heb 7:27, 9:12, 10:10. 12. Catholics preaches Works Salvation (faith + good works + partake R sacraments + submit to R pontiff + be in R Church + devote to Mary = to be saved). Yet Bible says “believe in Jesus to be saved”. Bible says Works Salvation is cursed. Gal 1:8-9. Acts 16:30-31, John 3:16, Romans 10:9-10. 13. Catholics says they must do Penance to atone for their sins. Yet Bible says repent, confess and sins will be forgiven. Catholic Bible changes the word “repentance” in NT into “penance”. Original Greek NT does not use or mean the word penance. Penance = work to atone for sins. Repentance = change of heart. 1 John 1:9, Mat 6. 14. Catholics say Mary went straight to heaven without dying. Yet Bible says nothing about it. 15. Catholics say Islam and Christianity have the same GOD. Yet Islam doesn't believe in death and resurrection of Jesus and Trinity.

I would say that there are a lot more Catholics that leave that church for the SDA church than the opposite. These video's are just to prepare you to keep Sunday when the Sunday law comes into effect in the near future. God only sanctified and hallowed one day. The seventh day which is Saturday. And it was around way before the Jewish nation. Genesis 2:2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. 2:3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.
Oh yes.Catholics have mass on Saturdays and all 7 days of the week. The point is keeping the day holy.!!!After mass the Catholics go shopping,they are at the beach,they party,drink alcohol,smoke cigarettes, it's just another day for them.But Adventist keep the 24 hr sacred and holy.Its solemnly dedicated to God.

i did watch a bit of this, but just like any other denomination you have good and bad experiences. this says zero about the doctrines - which is what makes up a Christian denomination.
I accidentally came upon this. there's nothing about us SDA that comes from Catholic. everything is straight from the bible. Catholic is an old religion and many of each teachings came from the pagans around them at the time. Read the story of Martin Luther to find the truth. It is hard for some to follow the bible because it cuts through the heart and tendons. They should put God first in their lives before parents and spouses. Foot washing symbolizes humility. ♥️🙏🙏

Ahhhhhh Chesterton....He helped me a lot in my conversion journey. St. Ignatius of Antioch was huge in my conversion, warning the early church not to be disobedient to the bishops and avoid schism at all costs. It was Christ Jesus who implored the church would be as one.

I studied religion at an Adventist college, taught in their high schools for seven years and then quit to convert to Catholicism. I read my way into the church mostly. Belloc was a big influence for me.

Wow! Simple, folks that were not truly converted here. I don't think an SDA needs EGW to know the truth and what the Bible truly says about the Seventh day Sabbath, for instance. ..The RCC will TELL YOU...."The Catholic Church still claims responsibility for the CHANGE of God's Sabbath from the seventh day of the week (Saturday) to the first day of the week (Sunday)--- and boldly challenges Christians who believe that the SCRIPTURES should be their sole authority in spiritual matters to be logically consistent and become Seventh-day Adventist Christians." See the May 21, 1995, newsletter of the Saint Catherine Catholic Church in Algonac, Michigan. So, those I know that are SDA's get their beliefs strictly from the Bible. They do not put EGW above the Bible. They also do not put TRADITION above the Bible that the RCC clearly has admitted to. SO many statements that apparently you folks missed out on by the RCC. As far as abortions, you cannot put ALL SDA's in that group. I AM PRO-LIFE! If one cannot see what it going on in the world we are living in, WOW! I can't believe what I'm hearing here.

I remember reading that William Miller, after his first end time prediction didn’t come through, made a second prediction. When that one also didn’t happen the Millerites forever called it “The Great Day of Disappointment”. It’s sad, I also read that they had quit their jobs and sold all their possessions in anticipation of the rapture.
it really was. unfortunately, most people try to pin this as a 'failure' in Adventism, when Miller was actually a southern baptist, but there were multiple denominations who studied the Scriptures and believed Daniel was speaking of the 2nd Coming, rather than His transition going from the Holy to the Most Holy - as Revelation 4 to 5 shows us.

My dearly beloved daughter, just as I walked alone during the slow and painful walk to the top of Mount Calvary, so too will walk My Remnant Army.
When I walked this torturous hill, I was surrounded by hundreds of Roman soldiers who blocked those along the path who wanted to give Me comfort. While it would not have been necessary for such large amounts of soldiers to guard just one man, their presence was to demonstrate a number of things. They wanted to show My followers and anyone who attempted to spread the Truth of My Teachings, who was in charge. This act of aggression was to threaten and bully those who dared to show allegiance to Me.
The Jews denied Me and then betrayed Me. The Romans crucified Me and it was in Rome that My beloved apostle Peter was instructed to form My Church on Earth, for I wished that My Church be formed amongst those who persecuted Me.
As My Second Coming is to take place soon and as My Final Mission to come back in order to bring humanity the final salvation I promised is unveiled, history will be repeated. The Jews will still deny Me, until The Warning takes place. The enemies of God will rise against Me, everywhere. Those who love Me and those who say that they represent Me will betray Me.
It will be within the Roman Empire that the great abomination will rise up against Me. Babylon, home of the Roman Empire and where the nations which have abandoned God in favour of false gods are located, will be the seat from which all lies will spew forth.
The beast with the ten horns is Europe and in Rome an army will rise up against Me. They will be responsible, yet again, for the crucifixion before the Great Day. They will bring about the final insult, when they crucify and destroy My Mystical Body on Earth. My Body is My Church. Those who separate from My Body, by choosing to follow a new doctrine, will betray Me and yet they will have the nerve to stand up and say that they come from Me.
On that day when the new One World religion is made known, which will be endorsed by sections within the Catholic Church, as foretold, the skies will darken and a great thunder will descend upon the Earth. It will be as it was the second I drew My last breath on the Cross, when the Anger of My Father was cast down upon the Hill of Calvary. When that happens and the sign that My One True Church has been taken away and a false pagan abomination has replaced it, you must know this. This is when the chastisements will rain down upon the human race, everywhere.
Every sign will be given from Heaven to warn those who side with the false prophet and his soon-to-be cohort, the antichrist, that their days will be numbered. They will be shown what it will be like to experience the Anger of My Father. Many bishops and priests will realise the Truth at that stage and will fight against this wickedness. They will not abandon Me and will continue to lead My True Church on Earth. Sadly, many will not have the courage to do this and they will be like lambs being led to the slaughter, but they will be comforted to know that I will never abandon them. I will send them much help and My Remnant Army will rise and spread the Gospels, when they will have been pushed to one side, everywhere. They will preach in every corner of the world and they will be fearless. Their love for Me will conquer the work of the antichrist. Their obedience to Me and their response to My Crusade Prayers will save billions of souls.
And then, My Plan will be completed.

My wife is Adventist. She's not very observant as she doesn't go to church. However she is pretty religious and we do have some recent disagreements on salvation and I noticed Adventists have some big contributions with sole scriptora when it comes to Ellen G White. I tried to show her a video about the veneration of Mary and it's roots in the church and using the early church fathers in the argument. She says it's not in the bible and showed me an Adventist video in which the pastor started quoting Ellen G White which isn't in the bible.
“Sola Scriptura” is not in the Holy Scriptures either. That is a man made dogma and is not founded anywhere in Christianity prior to the 1500’s. As for Mother Mary, she is the vessel chosen by God to bring God amoung men. It is an identical thing as the Ark of the covenant in Exodus. God was excrutiatingly exacting in what He expected of the Ark. It was to hold manna, stones and some other mere “things”. If He was that painstaking about the box that was to hold mere “things” one must ask what Hiis intention was for us to understand about the Human vessel that God Loves to bring about His Son to redeem us who He loves? That question of Mother Mary being respected, loved and venerated - NOT WORSHIPPED - is enigmatically compelling. God clearly does not expect us to dismiss Mother Mary who Jesus Christ gave to us as Our Mother from His dying words in agony on the Cross of Calvary. There’s more there than meets our simple eyes unless of course we think on it enough to see it!
Ellen White worked in her father's hat making business smelling chemicals all day long known to cause delusional behavior. She was also hit in the face by a rock. Ask your wife to read the church fathers...it will open her eyes to truth.

First as I said earlier to others on there. I personally didn't say a church. I personally to read the Bible and trust me. It's not hard if you read with the Holy Spirit. Which God promised us to have no, I'm not pretending to be my own Pope baby. Being my own Pope is making up my own doctrines without reading the scriptures with God. But anywho I read all the scriptures in context for the subject matter of every single thing. I believe in which matches up with scripture. And this is before ever new of the Adventist church. So you see, this has nothing to do with the Adventist church. I just joined what church was closest to what is truth of the Bible.
I read line upon line preset upon preset. I read all of the scriptures of that subject matter together in context. I leave nothing out. I research as well. The older language what I can I research history, archeology and many other things to know what is true or not. True most importantly, as I said. Though I pray over the scriptures and rely on God as he promised. Okay, that was promised to all of us, not just so, unlike Peter. Yes, the apostles of course, they were important.
However, what you also seem to miss is too very important factors more than 2 but there's 20 focus on it. One I said that all churches, including my own, will fall into'as the Bible discusses K all literally every single denomination that ever existed will fall into a position. All people of this Earth are either going to be of God or not of God. There will be no actual denomination for when Christ comes only his Remnant people.
Secondly, within already the second century. A lot of the so-called fathers of the church. As you wanna call them, we're already falling into paganism and allowing paganism to come into the church and control the church. And then in the third centuries. It was even much worse now. I don't believe that was the Catholic Church back then. You can call whatever you want, but no matter what you call it. The original beginnings of Christ true church was already falling into apostasy Finn as Christ warned. But the truth is still free, it's still there. It's not destroyed like everyone says it is you just have to follow the scriptures with Christ, just like you don't know the truth of the state of the dead, you don't know the truth about where people are right now, except for the select few you know you don't know the truth about what the Lord's supper is. He can through the Holy Spirit. You know, prodding and prudent and leading and love and comfort. Help us move away from those sins. And you will repent and atone for our sins. And yes, I do okay. Do you understand that so far? But we are called to do just as I said. However, we're also covered in his righteousness. If we are honorable in what I just said so we will be covered by him, his blood. I also said before, don't forget that I was a Catholic for 30 years. I know the INS and outs of it both in scripture, both in history and other I know it better probably than you and I don't mean that as an arrogant tone but you seem to think that I'm just some idiot kid who doesn't know anything. Why would you admire the SDAs for being so staunch & unmoving over their WRONG position on the Sabbath. Jesus rose from the dead on Sunday. The Apostles were given the Holy Spirit at Pentecost on a Sunday. The early Christians broke bread on a Sunday. John was taken up into Heaven in Revelation on a Sunday. Jesus is the Lord of the Sabbath.
He is the Alpha of the New Covenant. It is only fitting that we worship Him on the first day of the week.

My dearly beloved daughter, to those who accuse you, through My Holy Word, of fighting against the Authority of My Church, they must hear My Call.
The Church, created by Me, Jesus Christ, was built upon a firm Rock and no matter how much My Church - My Body - is attacked, the gates of Hell will never destroy It. Satan and his agents will only attack what is genuine, what is True and what is of Me. This is where all his energy will be focused on - My Church. I Am Present in My Church, through My Body, the Most Holy Eucharist. My enemies will always target the Most Holy Eucharist, as It is not merely a symbol of My Love, My Promise to redeem the world - It is My Body. It lives and breathes, for It is I, Jesus Christ, Who dwells in It. I will remain Present within the Holy Eucharist until close to the end, but My Church will never die.
My Word was made Flesh and through My Flesh, you, God’s children, will remain close to Me. When My enemies attacked My Church in the past, My Church united and fought against Its opponents. But when My Church is attacked, by the spirit of evil from within, It will face very few obstacles from a secular world.
Satan does not attack his own work. As the Son of man, I will never desert My Church, for It is impenetrable against the devil. My followers will remain true to My Church up to the last day. However, the number of people who will not understand the attacks, which My Church will come under, from within, will be high. They will, for the most part, be content with the many adaptations to be introduced in the Holy Sacraments and the Laws of God. Then when they insult God and commit blasphemy, when they desecrate the Holy Eucharist, they will no longer be part of My Church. My Church will remain intact. My Church will stay standing, because of those who will remain true to the Word of God - the Word, which became Flesh. For you cannot divorce My Church from the Word - the Flesh - because then It cannot Exist.
I promised that I would protect My Church against the gates of Hell and I do this now by preparing My loyal sacred servants to stand by Me and to remain true and steadfast until the Great Day. I never break My Promise.

Adventists really think that there is only one day a week that God requires worship of Him. At the Temple of Jerusalem, worship was EVERY DAY. Israel had one day of REST, not one day a week of worship. Do any Protestants worship daily? Not that I know of. Catholics and Orthodox are the only ones who follow the worship traditions of Israel. Catholics have DAILY worship. We receive the "our daily bread" from the Father as Jesus taught us to ask of Him in the Our Father prayer.
Ellen White's writings/visions make no sense to Catholics because they speak of a right day of worship as if there is a wrong day of worship. Catholics have a day of obligation but not a day of worship. Every single DAY Catholics worship. In fact, statistically (look it up) there are several times MORE Catholics in the United States who worship on Saturday than Adventists do. I got those statistics from the GC website and I got Catholic statistics from the USCCB.
Catholics ALWAYS have worshipped on Saturday. Always will. We were worshipping on Sabbath for 1860 years before Adventists were.
Ellen White's writings in the Great Controversy are so full of misunderstandings and historical errors that the SDA church had to delete, rewrite and foot note a great deal. But the fundamental mistake Ellen made was this idea that the entire world would force Adventists to worship on Sunday and even martyr them for worshipping on the 7th day. The reason this is completely wrong, is that there is no such thing in scripture as a correct day of worship.

We don't need Ellen White to show us the Sabbath truth it's in the Bible. There are other churches that understand the Sabbath that are not sda. How could the eucharist be the literal body of Christ? That's called cannibalism. Jesus clearly said he was the word of God. If we eat the bread (word) it will be assimilated into our body, heart and mind then we are truly one with him and the Father. I'm sorry these former sdas did not see the beautiful truths in the writings of Ellen White who is the lesser light that can lead us to the greater light the Holy scriptures. Even though we don't need her writings for salvation. They're are dishonest/honest people in all religions. We are not to look at people as our measure of truth but Christ alone. Im an Adventist, and i can not believe what iam hearing from this interviews. Adventsits are a Bible believing church. The Bible is the superior light as it is the word of God. The fundamental beliefs on which the church is grounded is purely Bible based. Ellen G White as prophet was inspired by God and most of what she wrote were directed by God. Her writings are backed up by scripture. SDA chruch believes in God. Adventists read the bible and believe in the word of God. Why would one go finding answers to their questions from human writings than finding answers in the bible itseft thorugh the power of the holy spiriit.
Communion service is biblical. Jesus washed the disciples feet before taking the Super. Its recorded in mathew and in the gospel. God bless you in you new found faith. Let God be the judge because choosing god is also a personal choice.

The next Saturday I sat in back with the Hispanics. The priest mentioned how when a new person visits and sits by your usual place you should introduce yourself instead of moving. After 2 more Saturdays with nobody coming up to say how you doing, and a couple dirty looks from people that handle the bread and wine I figured no. if we know God we keep all Ten Commandments - 1 John 2:3
if we love Christ we keep all Ten as well - John 14:15
if we decide to walk in Truth, we keep Them - 1 John 2:4
if we desire Heaven, we keep Them - Rev 22:14
and Jesus' church has to uphold (teach, preach, follow) Truth - 1 Tim 3:15
all Ten Commandments = Truth - Psalm 119:142, 151

*R Catholicism has nothing to do with God and His Words. R Catholic Church contradicts Scriptures in every possible ways!*
1. Catholics say Mary was sinless. But BIBLE says Mary offered a sinner's offering. She was a sinner. Bible says Mary needed a Saviour. Lk 2:23-24, Lev 12:6-8, Rom 3:10.
2. Catholics say clergies must be celibate. Yet BIBLE says Peter (supposed R Church first leader) had mother in law. Bible says celibacy is not a qualification for clergies. Mat 8:14-15, Mar 1:30-31, Luk 4:38-39.
3. Catholics say Mary was forever virgin. Yet BIBLE says Jesus had brothers and sisters. Mary was not perpetually virgin. Mk 6:3, Mat 13:55, Mat 27:56, Mar 6:3, Mar 15:40, Mar 15:47.
4. Catholics say confess to R priests in a box. BIBLE says nothing about confessing to priests in a box. Bible says confess to GOD only. 1 John 1:9, Mat 6, Romans 10:9-10.
5. Catholics say drink of the physical blood of Jesus. Yet OT and NT both say do not drink blood. Acts 15, Lev 7:26.
6. Catholics say pray to passed on Mary and "saints". Yet BIBLE says do not contact the dead. NT Church did not record a single case of NT believers asking passed on saints to pray for them. Deut 18:11, Isaiah 8:19.
7. Catholics make and bow down to statues. BIBLE says do not bow down to graven images (statues). Deut 4, Exo 20:4-5.
8. Catholics sprinkles “holy water”. But NT Church of the Bible mentioned nothing about “holy water”. There was no record of any Apostles sprinkling “holy water” on believers. Catholics claimed “holy water” came from OT. Yet Num 5:17 says “holy water” was water used to test adulterous women in OT temple. Hardly the same. Those were for Old Covenant Jews. Not New Testament Christians.
9. Catholics say Peter was pope - bishop of all bishops. Yet BIBLE says Peter was just a leader of the Jerusalem Church. Bible says nothing of the office of bishop of bishops. Gal 2:9, Mat 16:18.
10. Catholics say there is a seat of Peter. Yet BIBLE says nothing about it. Jesus said “not to lord over others”.
11. Catholics has clergy priesthood. Bible says clergy priesthood was done away with in New Testament. There is no clergy priesthood in NT. Heb 7:27, 9:12, 10:10.
12. Catholics preaches Works Salvation (faith + good works + partake R sacraments + submit to R pontiff + be in R Church + devote to Mary = to be saved). Yet Bible says “believe in Jesus to be saved”. Bible says Works Salvation is cursed. Gal 1:8-9. Acts 16:30-31, John 3:16, Romans 10:9-10.
13. Catholics says they must do Penance to atone for their sins. Yet Bible says repent, confess and sins will be forgiven. Catholic Bible changes the word “repentance” in NT into “penance”. Original Greek NT does not use or mean the word penance. Penance = work to atone for sins. Repentance = change of heart. 1 John 1:9, Mat 6.
14. Catholics say Mary went straight to heaven without dying. Yet Bible says nothing about it.
15. Catholics say Islam and Christianity have the same GOD. Yet Islam doesn't believe in death and resurrection of Jesus and Trinity.

These were never SDA or SDA-INO. NOW THEY BOW TO THE POPE.
Who said that catholics bowed to the Pope? Don't you respect all your pastors or head of your church as a spiritual leader s? Do you bow to them?
You bow to a day of the week. Your entire faith is hinged upon a day of the week that the Apostles taught we were under no directive to keep.
I would say that there are a lot more Catholics that leave that church for the SDA church than the opposite. These video's are just to prepare you to keep Sunday when the Sunday law comes into effect in the near future. God only sanctified and hallowed one day. The seventh day which is Saturday. And it was around way before the Jewish nation.
Genesis 2:2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
2:3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.
Oh yes.Catholics have mass on Saturdays and all 7 days of the week. The point is keeping the day holy.!!!After mass the Catholics go shopping,they are at the beach,they party,drink alcohol,smoke cigarettes, it's just another day for them.But Adventist keep the 24 hr sacred and holy.Its solemnly dedicated to God.
Does it mean you have never met Adventist drinking alcohol on that day? And doing all those things you mention? It is so funny how you generalize. Otherwise remember what Paul said about Sabbath, we are a new creation and so are not obligated to observe it.

Jesus came for the whole world and not for Judaism, and Paul as a Jew taught about all those things the only problem is you pick and choose what to believe and not what to believe and in doing so ignore the teachings of Jesus and the reason for his coming into this world.

The promise was there in the Old Testament that the law shall be written in people’s heart and not on the tablet stone in the new covenant.

Because we are the only ones who can be traced back to Jesus. Plus, we celebrate the Sabbath on Saturday evening as well since the Sabbath goes from sunset to sunset.

I accidentally came upon this. there's nothing about us SDA that comes from Catholic. everything is straight from the bible. Catholic is an old religion and many of each teachings came from the pagans around them at the time. Read the story of Martin Luther to find the truth. It is hard for some to follow the bible because it cuts through the heart and tendons. They should put God first in their lives before parents and spouses. Foot washing symbolizes humility.
