Pastor Doug, I enjoy your sermons immensely. I like you, would love to sit down face to face and have a discussion on your views concerning the Sunday law and how they would come about in these last days. Just as you would love to talk to any minister on our beliefs as Seventh Day Adventist, I would love to discuss the last day events. Who knows maybe the Lord will open a path for the conversation. But it is of great concern to me. As an Adventist myself we hold all things in common in Jesus Christ our Lord. Wonderful New Heart Series you and staff have put out. Thank you so much. I have been very blessed in appreciation for God's guidance in your efforts and wish continued success in the Lord.
@Doug Batchelor Doug Batchelor, you state that the SDA never predicted a date for the second coming. Didn't Ellen White follow the movement that predicted. Didn't she, herself, state that in this scenario: E.G. White prophesied the world would end in 1843, 1844, 1845 and 1851 : "Now time is almost finished, (1851) and what we have been 6 years in learning they will have to learn in months." (Early Writings, p.57). AND "Soon we heard the voice of God like many waters which gave us the day and hour of Jesus coming. When God spoke the time, He poured upon us the Holy Spirit." (Vol.1, p.59) NOTE: In this reference Mrs. White claims that the Lord gave her the day and hour of His coming. In Matthew 24:36, Jesus said, " But of that day and hour knoweth no man , no, not the angels in heaven, but my Father only ." I am a true believer in going to church on Saturday because of Jesus example and because of the 10 commandments. I also am a true believer that Christ will come back as he promised. But I emphatically don't believe that Ellen White was a true prophetess of God. NO TRUE PROPHET OF GOD PREDICTS INCORRECTLY. THE SCRIPTURE TELLS US " If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the Lord does not take place or come true, that is a message the Lord has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously. Do not be afraid of him" (Deuteronomy 18:20-22,
@@RictorHeidi Dear friend, clearly you have taken Ellen Whites words out of context. It is true that Ellen White proclaimed the "world will end", but she never gave a date nor a time. Even today Adventist believe the world is going to end and end soon, that Jesus is even at the door. This has always been the belief of Adventist and Ellen White also. There is no "time" predicted on when that day will be. Secondly, while Ellen White was in vision and taken down to the end of time just before the second coming of Christ, she spoke of God's people who would witness Jesus's second coming after they had gone through the great time of trouble, after the time of Jacobs trouble, and the enemies of God were about to thrust forward and kill God's children. Then she describes that very moment and time, and references what was happening in both nature and the visible portents of Christ's coming. She mentions the darkness, the light breaking through every now and then, she mentions God's people looking up and then the earthquake and thunders that rolled through the atmosphere of heaven; in all this commotion she then says that they, the children of God, understood what those rolling peels of loudest thunder meant to them, that it was God's voice announcing the "day and the hour" of His coming. She also goes on to describe the wicked who sought to kill God's children as not being able to hear any of the words that God was speaking to His people. I think that maybe you should re-read early writings and compare them with other writings by Ellen White when she speaks of that same event. And carefully understand that she did not say she understood the "day or the hour" in her time, or that she knew the day or hour as God spoke it then, but those in the last day understood that God spoke the day and hour through the great peels of thunder to His people just before Christ's coming. To this day, Ellen White has never referred to any "day or hour" of God's announcement in any of her writings, none. Not once has she ever said what was heard by the voice of God at that moment. But only that those who heard it, understood the words of God's pronouncement of the day and hour. She was in vision, remembering seeing the things that would take place at a future time. She was not there literally, nor has she ever mentioned, or stated that "she" understood in her time the words that God spoke proclaiming the day or the hour. Only those alive in that future time and under those last hour moments in earth's history understood what God had told them. "The voice of God is heard from heaven, declaring the 'day and the hour' of Jesus coming, and delivering the everlasting covenant to His people. Like peals of loudest thunder His words roll through the earth. The Israel of God stand 'listening', with their eyes fixed upward. Their countenances are lighted up with His glory, and shine as did the face of Moses when he came down from Sinai. The wicked cannot look upon them. And when the blessing is pronounced on those who have honored God by keeping His Sabbath holy, there is a mighty shout of victory." GC. page 640. Moreover, she explains often 'why' the hour and day must be kept secret, because if people knew, they would neglect to prepare, and this is obviously God's intent. What good is knowing the day and trying to prepare in the last minute? It would save no one. The work would never have gotten done, characters would never have been formed for heaven, the work in daily trials and overcoming would be put off till the end if ever done at all if the day was many years in the future. There is so much to do now, both in good works, spreading the gospel, caring for the poor, indigent, the widow, the fatherless, and all charity. All these things that form character worthy of heaven, would all be put off and neglected. Man knows not the hour of His coming. We could die tomorrow or next week, then what of character? If put off waiting for 'that day' if all knew when it would be. All these things Ellen White admonished because she did not know the day or the hour, but was impressed and informed of the lack of character we all have that needs to be transformed by the indwelling spirit of Christ before its too late. Get ready! Get ready! Get ready! was her cry to us all.
@@jamesbarfield6870 ADVENTISTS Derek Prince on the definition of a parable: QUOTING It’s good to be with you again at the beginning of a new week, sharing with you Keys to Successful Living, which God has placed in my hand through many years of personal experience and Christian ministry. The title for my talks this week is “The Sheepfold.” It will help you to answer a very difficult, but also very important question: Who really are God’s people in this world? This picture of God’s people is found in a parable of Jesus in John 10. But before we turn to the actual words of Jesus, it will be helpful to say a word about the nature and purpose of a parable. One of the great problems that we all have in apprehending spiritual truth is that we are tied to our senses. We tend to believe only those things which we see and feel and hear and touch and taste. *We think that these are the real things and it’s difficult for us to comprehend or to see the reality of things in another order. And yet we’re not really correct in saying that the things that we apprehend with our senses are the real things: they’re not. The things which are truly real and truly important are spiritual. And they are not apprehended by our senses.* Let me just put before you some words of Paul on this subject. In 2 Corinthians 4:18: *“So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen in eternal.”* (NIV) So what Paul is saying *is just the opposite of what we tend to think by nature.* He’s saying what *we can see is only temporary. It doesn’t last, it’s not permanent. It’s not fully real. But the fully real things are unseen. And he says we fix our eyes on what is not seen.* Again, a little further on in the same letter of Paul, 2 Corinthians 5:7, he says: “We live [or we walk] by faith, not by sight” (NIV). How can we fix our eyes on what is unseen. There is a deliberate paradox there, isn’t it? You can’t see the unseen. But the paradox is deliberate. *Paul is saying, “We’ve got to learn to think differently. The truly real things are the spiritual things that we don’t see.”* Now, one way that the Bible helps us in this matter is through parables. *The parable is a story or a picture of something familiar, material, that everybody at the time of Jesus knew about, but its real truth is not in the natural or the material, it’s in the spiritual.* And everything in the natural corresponds to something else in the spiritual. *And so, the parable becomes a kind of MIRROR reflecting the spiritual and the unfamiliar.* In this way we proceed from the known to the unknown, *which is one of the basic principles of good teaching. And Jesus, of course, was the perfect teacher.* *NOW READ LUKE 16:19-31* LUKE 16:19-31 KJV - There was a certain rich man, which was - Bible Gateway*NOW READ LUKE 16:19-31* *NOW READ LUKE 16:19-31*
I started going to a SDA in April and was baptised Sept 17. I love this church and the people are so welcoming. They follow the Bible and we follow the ten commandments. We don't eat pork and worship on Sat. I am so glad God led me the way to this church.. praise God always.
The thing I love about pastor Doug is his truth message, but it is spoken with kindness and love 🙏❤️ I have fallen away from my love Jesus for years,I'm heartbroken, but because of me listening to this message and other videos I have from my brother Doug I'm going tomorrow to the local 7th Day Adventist Church to Fully Surrender my live to Jesus Again ... I know our Dear Heavenly Father Is Already Running Down The Path To Meet Me 🙏❤️😊 Lots Of Love To All ❤️
Larry The Lobster. Amen i also agree because out of All religous groups, SDA Group is the closest to the bible due to my research in the scripture. And thats why i chose to be a part of the Sda movement because i believe salvation isnt a joke, we cannot serve God how we want to, its how God wants us to serve him. So im a proud Sda striving to live sinfree by the Grace of God🙏🏽. God deserves Total obedience not half way/lukewarmness Amen. God bless you
@C.D. Martins No, it's because you don't know the scriptures and some cult deceived you. Let's be honest. There is no such thing as sola scriptura, it's a pure fable scam to convince others they don't form their own opinion based on a very limited amount of knowledge. You don't fool God with that stuff.
@Doug Batchelor I have known God for 20 plus years, but I kept falling away to sin. I was baptized a catholic, but stopped believing (not entirely of course) because of the abominations done to people at the pope’s behest. I felt betrayed, hurt, and disgusted at their hypocrisy. This is when I found you online. I have listened to many sermons by many preachers, you are my favourite!!! God keeps redirecting me to your sermons and a couple others. I enjoy yours the most because of the gentle discipline your voice administers. Thanks be to God for you, and may He bless you always.
Hello Mia, and thank you for your message! We invite you to email us at snunez@amazingfacts.org, we would like to be in contact with you to hear more about your testimony. The more Adventist you become the more sin, you will do. you will lay sin upon sin and never escape it. You will become blinded to your sin, and pretend that Sabbath keeping will be enough. Even then, you will never keep the Sabbath, but in the depths of hypocrisy you will tell everyone you do. Mountains of sin will bury you because you walked away from the Grace of God.
You are not alone. Even we who grew up in the church have our struggles. Praise the Lord that He has given us the Bible and taught us to pray! He will give us the victory.

Oh my gosh I’m in tears… my testimony is similar to this pastor. I’m 59 and have been a part of several churches as I moved and I prayed and prayed for the Lord to please show me THE TRUTH, because I couldn’t figure out who was right!! The DOOR SWUNG OPEN and God guided me to the SDA! 🙌🏼❤️… A few years ago he convicted me of Sat Sabbath…. So it all just pulled together!
I prayed for truth about a year ago and God is showing me new truth every day and I can’t get enough. SDA is truth. Keep searching the world, God bless you.

As an African Adventist Baha’i, there are no adequate words to express my gratitude to the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Due to my upbringing as Adventist, I revere Jesus Christ & His example of love. Also, I take healthful living seriously. Joining the Baha’i Faith’s community has only intensified my affection for the Adventist teachers who instilled in me a sense of sacred. I am the result of the message of Adventists & the example of its members. My adoration for Christ draws me towards Adventists & all Christians.
This is my very first Seventh Day Adventist sermon that I have watched. Thank you for this introduction. The only Bible that I use is the KJV. No commentary or references. Sola Scriptura.
I want to thank you for your teaching about the 7th Day Adventist. I am very much interested in finding a local church and checking it out. Because it was two days event Saturday and Sunday. Pastor Doug has been in the church this person use to belong to. And if I tell you how I became Adventist. You See how GOD works in miraculous ways.
I converted to Judaism from Pentecostalism. I had a problem with what they taught vs what the tanakh said. I have a problem refuting what you teach. Keep up the good work 👍
We are not saved by our works; we are saved because Christ died. But works are important. We are judged by our works . Works are evidence of our loyalty.
I was raised a 3rd generation SDA who taught there is only one God, the Father, and Jesus Christ his only begotten son. In 2012 the Church “took a firm stand” and adopted the trinity into their tenets. Paul tells us in 2 Tim 4:3-4 The time will come when they shall NOT ENDURE sound doctrine but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers having itching ears. And they shall turn their ears away from truth, and shall be turned unto fables (myths).
Jesus promises: whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father and I too will love him and show myself to him. 14:21 Jesus replied. If anyone loves me he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him and we will come to him and make our home with him. John 14:21 I have told you now before it happens, so that when it does happen you will believe.

If you want to know how much a Seventh-Day Adventist is a Bible Christian, compare videos. For instance, go to one of Doug batchelors 12 minute videos and notice how many scriptures he uses in that time frame. I was watching One recently, "Can a non-Christian be saved". The video is a little over 12 minutes and contains about 20 scriptures to back up the claim. Now, go to most any other denomination and watch one of their hour long videos. They may use, what five scriptures during the whole sermon. The typical SDA sermon talks about scripture and uses scripture for its base. This is so with the foundational Seventh-day Adventist churches mostly. Foundational refers to those who still believe as the Pioneers did of our faith back in the 1800s. Maranatha!

Stop caring so much what people think of you and care only about what God thinks. Read the Bible and pray for truth and guidance. If you ask, God will show you everything you need. God bless you and give you courage.
I’m so Sorry about that man’s un-Christlike character. Jesus says: Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. Matthew 11:30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
I don't eat pork, I don't worship mary nor do I pray to mary. When I Pray, I Pray to Father God through King Jesus Christ (I ask King Jesus Christ to whisper my Prayer in Father God's "ear").
Absolutely non. It's either you observe the Sabbath or burn in hell. That's pretty much what they say without saying it. This church is cult based. There doctrines seems convincing but are based of "works" which the Bible doesn't support for salvation. They would deny it but their attitude and actions says otherwise.
@Charles Dada Hey! Great question. Speaking fron personal experience -the best thing to do in this case is to honor God and His word. Take this issue up in prayer and ask God to open a door for you at your job that allows you to be faithful to God with The Sabbath. Be active with this. Look for what other options you have. Some jobs are very accommodating and don't require much, but in the case that is impossible with man, that's ok, it's possible with The LORD. He says in Psalms 37:4 delight yourself in The LORD first, and He will give you the desire of your heart.
Oh there is a lake of fire in the Bible: Revelation 19:20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. Revelation 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. Revelation 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. Revelation 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
With regard to everlasting torment, I see Scripture to say exactly this with regard to the devil, the beast, and the false prophet in Revelation 20:10. We see similar words in Rev. 14:9-12 from the 3rd Angel for any man who worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or on his hand... In the Geneva Bible of the Reformers, in the chapter titles given in Psalms 49, which are not Scripture, the Reformers say "everlasting torments" for judged worldly misers. Am I missing something? Why do the Adventists say not eternal torment for the damned specifically mentioned here?
Ezekiel 28:19 says the devil will be brought to ashes and never shall he be anymore, for anyone to think or believe that Christ would completely destroy the Father of sin yet burn unbelievers for eternity is not rational.
@johnriggs3143 I don't understand your comment. One says no torment, yet Scripture says torment. I'll stick with Scripture. I thought Adventist's did also. So, why are they saying something that is opposite what Scripture plainly says, or am I missing something here? Also, what does rational have to do with God's words. It is man that is irrational, and thinks they have reason, which is opposite God's will. Throughout Scripture, God tells us the wicked will be punished severely if they don't change their ways. It's a promise. Those who reject God are sent a strong delusion. I think God's words are very clear and substantial on this point. Why teach, assume, or reason otherwise? This may help you. Review Luke 16:19-31; the story from Jesus of the rich man and the beggar, Lazarus, and Abraham.
Do not give Holy things unto dogs or casts your pearl before swines least they trample them under their feet and turned against you and rend you. Amen.
Doug Batchelor, you state that the SDA never predicted a date for the second coming. Didn't Ellen White follow the movement that predicted. Didn't she, herself, state that in this scenario: E.G. White prophesied the world would end in 1843, 1844, 1845 and 1851 : "Now time is almost finished, (1851) and what we have been 6 years in learning they will have to learn in months." In Matthew 24:36, Jesus said, " But of that day and hour knoweth no man , no, not the angels in heaven, but my Father only ." I am a true believer in going to church on Saturday because of Jesus example and because of the 10 commandments. I also am a true believer that Christ will come back as he promised. But I emphatically don't believe that Ellen White was a true prophetess of God. NO TRUE PROPHET OF GOD PREDICTS INCORRECTLY. Listen up, I've got a story to tell About the Great Disappointment, and what it means to dwell In a world of truth, where Ellen's words are pure She's got prophecy too, and her message is sure Never say you're saved, don't make that mistake Christ died for your past sins, but your future's up for stake Investigative judgment, it's a time to face the truth Christ is still working, to fix all your mistakes Ellen's words are true, and her teachings are clear She's a voice of reason, in a world filled with fear She's always been there, to guide us on our way And her words will always, be with us every day Never say you're saved, don't make that mistake Christ died for your past sins, but your future's up for stake Investigative judgment, it's a time to face the truth Christ is still working, to fix all your mistakes The Great Disappointment, it's a time to reflect On the path we've chosen, and the choices we neglect It's a time to repent, and turn to Christ our King And in His grace, our future we can bring Never say you're saved, don't make that mistake Christ died for your past sins, but your future's up for stake Investigative judgment, it's a time to face the truth Christ is still working, to fix all your mistakes So don't be discouraged, and don't lose hope With Christ by your side, you can learn to cope And never say you're saved, until the end of time With Christ working to fix your mistakes, you'll always shine.

I think you didn't get the joke. This is to debunked the myths about Adventism. One of which is that we hate Catholics. He did say he didn't know if this actually happened or not, but it was not meant to be taken literally. I've heard this joke being told so many times, for so long. And it's funny, not because it's true, but because of people who are looking from the outside to criticize rather than to know and understand, they hear an SDA talking about the papacy and end time prophecy and they quickly go "oh they hate catholics!" I've never heard anyone say the reformers hated catholic believers, everyone understood they loved the church, wanted to reform it and were against what the papacy was doing. They literally preach the papacy is the antichrist and no one ever says they hated Catholics.
@@joelrios4051 What a bunch of nonsense. No one would ever dung you all say about Catholics that you all do. You call them every foul name ever imagined from an evil heart and murderous heart. I watched a video of Doug Batchelor helping this poor girl be saved from the "pagan sun worship" of the Catholics. When I pointed it out, they quickly took it off TH-cam. You all openly profess "Sunday worship is the mark of the Beast" Which is to imply we worship SATAN. The whole idea behind this Adventist Sabbath keeping stuff is pure marketing and a shameful scam. The Adventist know they don't keep the Sabbath according to the commandment. Moreover, Jesus and 10 commandments are *no more* than a tool to get you to join the SDA. They will do anything to get you to join the SDA . You all make every false promise in order to get members, including the following: * The promise of a Seal of God * IF they keep the Sabbath. * A promise of escaping the tribulation, no where promised to the Adventist's in scripture. * A promise that they can automatically claim to keep the 10 commandments, when they know it isn't true. * A promise of winning a free ticket to be one of the 144, 000. * A promise that God will never leave the Adventist Church, nowhere found in the bible. * A promise of Eternal life for being Sabbath keepers. * A promise of a rapture of the Adventist church, nowhere found in scripture. The Adventist use every trick in the book to get you to join! Everlasting shame on these people! To gain acceptance, and a following, the Adventist's will say anything! They will tell you, that "Oh we believe lot's of people who don't keep the Sabbath will be saved" , when the teach is the same sin a murder and worshiping Satan. The Adventist will tell you they believe in salvation through Christ alone, what they don't say in that is that they mean as long as you are a Sabbath keeping Jew, as Christ was. The Adventist will say, "Oh we love the Catholics" , while they call them Satan Worshipers. The Adventist will say, they do good on the Sabbath day, when what they really mean, is they break the Sabbath commandment and do and speak all manner of evil against Christianity in order to exalt themselves. Like the 10 commandments, For all this bluster and bovarism by the Adventists and others about Sabbath keeping, THEY DON’T keep the Sabbath either. They just SAY they do!
Thanks for the great messages I want to let you know adventist medical care is the expensive more than the Catholic medical service even the education sector why they make business to the top pay their workers the lowest why
You will know them by their fruits. The foundational truth is belief is Love of LORD God and neighbour, and belief in Lord Jesus Christ the Messiah. It is written; .. ever studying but not getting to understand, sees their eye are blind & ears deaf. It is sad that majority of all protestant denominations are offshoots of their mother, the Roman Catholic Church. All are now following man made doctrines and ceased following the doctrine of Jesus Christ the Son of God, the LORD and creater of heaven and earth.
And who's the law represent? As the law given to Moses in Mount Sinai? And Mount Sinai represent Hagar the concubinage of Abraham. Take Notes: who's the seed of Abraham? As in Galatians 3:29 if you are belongs to Christ you are Abraham seeds and heir's according to the promised. What Christ preaching? Repent as in Luke 24:47 as Apostle Peter preach in Acts 2:38, to God be the Glory
As Judas Iscariot hung himself, even he cried loudly, but he doesn't repent and surrender his life to Jesus Christ, that's why have two kinds of repentance, wordly repentance and Godly repentance, as Godly repentance as I Acts 2:38, Peter replied repent and be baptised everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Therefore everyone needs to repent confess, acknowledge Jesus Christ done on the Cross, invite in your heart and accept him as Lord and Savior. As believer of Christ, who's teaching we followed? As in John 8:31-32 If you hold my teaching you are really my disciples, then you know the truth and the truth will set you free. To God be the Glory

If you take the Bible literally and believe we "sleep" in the grave after death, why did Jesus tell the man on the cross next to him that he would be with him in paradise "today"?

He did not say that he would be with him today, he said I say to you today, that is he spoke to him that day. you have to learn the language of the Hebrew to understand what you’re reading you cannot go by your English translation. Yeshua was in the grave for three days so there is no way the man could have been with him
Today, (Christ said) Today, I can assure you that one day you will be with me in paradise. Not that today you will be with me as in right now. Christ wasn’t dead yet and He rested in the grave on Sabbath. Jesus rose on Sunday or the first day of the week. The original Hebrew language didn’t have punctuation: Luke 23:43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee today, shalt thou be with me in paradise.
Let me tell you a true story. There was a young man who was on a college football team as the quarterback now this team was always ranked in the top 10 in most national rankings the coach put him down as a second string quarterback and he became angry and he left the school. When he left he took the playbook of all the plays that the team used offensively and defensively. He went to a new school and became the starting quarterback. As it turned out this boys team faced his old team in a bowl game. His coach had the playbook. Now this boy was an excellent quarterback he had the other teams play book the coach knew it and yet in that ball game they lost 48 to 0. So even with the playbook he was not successful. The other team just had more talent more determination and a very good coach. Now it is also the truth you are in possession of God’s playbook the Bible and even if you have it you don’t know how to use it. You have to be inspired by the Holy Spirit and he ain’t doing it.
Description of God’s end time church: Revelation 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. Revelation 19:10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. Revelation 3:14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; Revelation 3:15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. Revelation 3:16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Revelation 3:17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked. There is only one church that had met all the above Bible criteria of God’s end time truth. Let’s check what the Papal church says about the SDA church: “Perhaps the boldest thing, the most revolutionary change the Church ever did happened in the first century. The holy day, the Sabbath, was changed from Saturday to Sunday…not from any directions noted in the Scriptures, but from the Church’s sense of its own power….People who think that the Scriptures should be the sole authority, should logically become 7th Day Adventists, and keep Saturday holy.” Catholic Record, Sept. 1, 1923 “Sunday is our mark of authority…The church is above the Bible, and this transference of Sabbath observance is proof of that fact.” Letter from C.F. Thomas, Chancellor of Cardinal Gibbons on October 28, 1895 - So there you have it…the Papal church says if you believe in Solana Scriptura then become an SDA.
Dear Pastor Doug Bachelor: I agree with most all of your teachings and beliefs; however, I cannot find TRUTH in that which is taught about SATURDAY! Jesus kept a Lunisolar Calendar, given by His Father at Sinai; the FOURTH COMMANDMENT OF THE TEN! You and I know about the changes from LuniSolar to Solar deity Julian, and then 1000 years later generally, the Gregorian Calendar, which has no part of the LuniSolar Calendar which began with the NEW MOON DAY, a different day of the week of that calendar, all on its own, as numbers of burnt offerings obviates. If this were not the case, I would not still be keeping the Lunisolar calendar, and the Sabbaths found in so keeping! I cannot find locally anyone within your denomination who will speak to me on this topic, for we both know, Sabbath days under the LuniSolar calendar CHANGE, but not only were the Hebrews - lastly the Jews - living this way, but most importantly, Jesus Christ walked in this same calendar, although because He was the Son, our Saviour, His sinless life differed from the leaders of the Jewish Sanhedrin in many ways on their Sabbaths. We know who changed this 4th commandment's calendar: Constantine, and his son, Constantius! Why then does the Church you speak for, walk after the orders of these two Emperors, when NOTHING about the days "Saturn's Day and Sun'sDay" mean anything to true Bible believers. We are taught to walk in the footsteps of Christ, and He did not walk in a Solar deity Calendar, and yet, all true believers are to walk in Christ's manner, Who sinned not. PEOPLE need to know why Adventists follow the Roman Way as to the true calendar, when all else concerning her teachings, are surely incorrect, but after the spiritual enemy's commands? I keep the LuniSolar calendar, because a student of the Scriptures, and want to live eternally that I might live with Father, Son and all of the angels, and all of the saints who have been saved from eternal death. Thak you for your answer, and bless you and your people!
I have no idea what you’re talking about but SDAs follow the Hebrew calendar for Bible study because prophecy won’t came out right if you do the math with the Gregorian calendar. The Hebrew calendar has 360 days with 30 days each month. That’s the calendar of the Bible.
Being a former sda member l agree with the founding principles that are biblical based, but a majority of the members are the big turn off where they have become arrogant based on the belief of we are the remnant church which is because we keep the commandments. Based on personal experience the once saved always saved belief, and the delusional belief l am a Christian and all my thoughts and actions must be and are inline with God's approval and this has taken a great hold with in this denomination. I also have observed a majority of the church leaders have become people pleasers instead of leader's and entering into politics due to selfperceived popularity and what they say should be agreed with.
As a Seventh-Day Adventist, I can assure we do not believe in once saved always saved. Sadly, I do agree with you that many members have disappointed me with their actions. However, I implore you not to forget that we go to church because we love God and want to serve him, NOT FOR THE MEMBERS. I have seen other SDA churches with a much greater passion for God's words and living the example of Christ, even if my congregation falls short.
@@justindwarika2523 ...In addition God's church is made up of people. Not a denomination. Sure the SDA has the most truth but it's not a church denomination he's going to save. It's people. He looks at the heart if it is true or not. This world is imperfect. You're always going to find something to complain about if you look hard enough. Perfection comes in the next world that God and his Son Jesus Christ have prepared for us.

Interesting the pastor believes in the Trinity but the early Adventist church up until the early 1900s the SDA church was Arian and rejected the trinity teaching and as a result were not Christian
Incorrect. A few pioneers initially had some of these views but with time and more diligent Bible study those very same pioneers adopted the Trinitarian position.
@@beatricepineda5923 George Knight has said "Most of the pioneers today would not be able to join the SDA Church because they couldn't agree with doctrine number 2 the Trinity" There are still many today that don't agree with the same doctrine Barnhouse and Martin in the 1950s found Adventist literature with both Arian and Trinitarian doctrine and this was an issue on if they could class the Adventists as a cult
So maybe they had a reality check you’re saying that you never did anything wrong and then all sudden changed maybe they repented and found the truth just because they were in sin at one time does not mean they cannot be brought out of it otherwise you’re saying nobody can get forgiveness
Heaven: 2 Kings 2:11 And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. And Genesis 5:24 And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.
I have listened to Doug Batchelor and read several booklets periodically over several decades. They have reinforced most of what I believe through God's word but know they have missed the mark on some issues. A big one is the false claim that they believe in keeping all of the 10 Commandments, however they regularly show false images depicting the God and Savior Jesus Christ in their videos. Scripture is clear that believers should not do this. I encourage my brethren to fast, pray and eventually turn from this sacrilege. Peace
@iAm Martins they don’t- just throw words in the dust hoping to catch someone! Thankfully there are people like you iAm Martine who show them up, and quickly too! Pastor Doug is a sincere child of God who wants to lead others to God; I for one do pray for him and others like him to keep burning the fires of God’s truth till Jesus returns
Adventistism to me is like Job's friends trying to explain why Sunday keeping Christians are wrong, only for the Lord almighty to rebuke them in the end.

Didn't she, herself, state that in this scenario:
E.G. In Matthew 24:36, Jesus said, " But of that day and hour knoweth no man , no, not the angels in heaven, but my Father only ."
I am a true believer in going to church on Saturday because of Jesus example and because of the 10 commandments.
Thank you Doug for faithfully and truthfully showing others what the Bible says about Seventh Day Adventist’s. God bless.
@@jamesbarfield6870 ADVENTISTS Derek Prince on the definition of a parable: QUOTING
It’s good to be with you again at the beginning of a new week, sharing with you Keys to Successful Living, which God has placed in my hand through many years of personal experience and Christian ministry.
And they are not apprehended by our senses.*
Let me just put before you some words of Paul on this subject. In 2 Corinthians 4:18:
*“So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. The truly real things are the spiritual things that we don’t see.”*
Now, one way that the Bible helps us in this matter is through parables. And Jesus, of course, was the perfect teacher.* *NOW READ LUKE 16:19-31* LUKE 16:19-31 KJV - There was a certain rich man, which was - Bible Gateway*NOW READ LUKE 16:19-31*

So the class was I think about seven or eight persons. I am Armenia and the other person that was Armenian also was Seventh day Adventist. But I didn’t know that until after two months of classes we were gone go do open dive in the ocean, this person he’s name was Graig said he can’t go because he keep the Sabbath Holy. Because it was two days event Saturday and Sunday. Pastor Doug has been in the church this person use to belong to. And if I tell you how I became Adventist. You See how GOD works in miraculous ways.

Maranatha!

I heen a family man and God was tugging at me to change i felt the experience of observing the Sabbath and yhe closeness with God. But at that time we left the church and been years but we live now in a different town i i finally went back to church the holy ghost has been tugging at me but i do have a fear i really like 7th day but i don't know people who have knowledge in the word at times are bias and intolerant towards the newcomer's who are hungry i think that guy is a Pastor now but how do i go about this any suggestions❓

Matthew 11:30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

If one's job makes it impossible to get to church services on Saturday, which Sunday church denomination is the second-best in the eyes of SDA?
Absolutely non. It's either you observe the Sabbath or burn in hell. That's pretty much what they say without saying it. This church is cult based. There doctrines seems convincing but are based of "works" which the Bible doesn't support for salvation. They would deny it but their attitude and actions says otherwise.
@Charles Dada
Hey!

Amen.
Is there a transcript of this message?
I agree, the closest church I want to be at is at the foot of Jesus......first class seatings.
Didn't she, herself, state that in this scenario:
E.G. White prophesied the world would end in 1843, 1844, 1845 and 1851 : "Now time is almost finished, (1851) and what we have been 6 years in learning they will have to learn in months." (Early Writings, p.57). -AND- "Soon we heard the voice of God like many waters which gave us the day and hour of Jesus coming. When God spoke the time, He poured upon us the Holy Spirit." (Vol.1, p.59) NOTE: In this reference Mrs. White claims that the Lord gave her the day and hour of His coming. In Matthew 24:36, Jesus said, " But of that day and hour knoweth no man , no, not the angels in heaven, but my Father only ."
I am a true believer in going to church on Saturday because of Jesus example and because of the 10 commandments.

I think you didn't get the joke. This is to debunked the myths about Adventism. One of which is that we hate Catholics.
He did say he didn't know if this actually happened or not, but it was not meant to be taken literally.
I've heard this joke being told so many times, for so long.
And it's funny, not because it's true, but because of people who are looking from the outside to criticize rather than to know and understand, they hear an SDA talking about the papacy and end time prophecy and they quickly go "oh they hate catholics!"
I've never heard anyone say the reformers hated catholic believers, everyone understood they loved the church, wanted to reform it and were against what the papacy was doing. They literally preach the papacy is the antichrist and no one ever says they hated Catholics.
@@joelrios4051 What a bunch of nonsense. No one would ever dung you all say about Catholics that you all do. You call them every foul name ever imagined from an evil heart and murderous heart.
You all make every false promise in order to get members, including the following:
* The promise of a Seal of God * IF they keep the Sabbath.

Margaret Briley
Description of God’s end time church:
Revelation 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
Revelation 19:10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
Revelation 3:14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;
Revelation 3:15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
Let’s check what the Papal church says about the SDA church:
“Perhaps the boldest thing, the most revolutionary change the Church ever did happened in the first century. The holy day, the Sabbath, was changed from Saturday to Sunday…not from any directions noted in the Scriptures, but from the Church’s sense of its own power….People who think that the Scriptures should be the sole authority, should logically become 7th Day Adventists, and keep Saturday holy.”
Catholic Record, Sept. 1, 1923
“Sunday is our mark of authority…The church is above the Bible, and this transference of Sabbath observance is proof of that fact.”
Letter from C.F. Thomas, Chancellor of Cardinal Gibbons on October 28, 1895 -
So there you have it…the Papal church says if you believe in Solana Scriptura then become an SDA.
All.who think.that when.jesues return.he and gathered up all Nation.in.his kingdom.,, worship Not goin to take place on Sunday the 1st day ,, it goin be on the Sabbath day,,, the Bible said that in ISAIAH ,,, God Said all Nation.will Come before him.worship him.on.that Sabbath day
Interesting the pastor believes in the Trinity but the early Adventist church up until the early 1900s the SDA church was Arian and rejected the trinity teaching and as a result were not Christian
Incorrect. A few pioneers initially had some of these views but with time and more diligent Bible study those very same pioneers adopted the Trinitarian position.
@@beatricepineda5923 George Knight has said "Most of the pioneers today would not be able to join the SDA Church because they couldn't agree with doctrine number 2 the Trinity"
There are still many today that don't agree with the same doctrine
Barnhouse and Martin in the 1950s found Adventist literature with both Arian and Trinitarian doctrine and this was an issue on if they could class the Adventists as a cult
So maybe they had a reality check you’re saying that you never did anything wrong and then all sudden changed maybe they repented and found the truth just because they were in sin at one time does not mean they cannot be brought out of it otherwise you’re saying nobody can get forgiveness
Where are Elijah and Enoch?
According to the scriptures they should be the only two that has been risen off of the Earth before death and brought up to the throne room
Heaven: 2 Kings 2:11 And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.
And
Genesis 5:24 And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.
Oh yeah where in the Bible does it say that we can’t make representations of Jesus?
Adventistism to me is like Job's friends trying to explain why Sunday keeping Christians are wrong, only for the Lord almighty to rebuke them in the end.
More like the other way around. Your insights mean nothing without Biblical evidence.
