It took a lot of work! I think he was able to buy his second one with no finish applied, so he was able to go straight to powder coating in red. -Paul

Great racing Paul! Eric is no joke. He is an amazingly fast rider. I have watched him a few times in the BAESK8 Intro2Speed gatherings Maribel and Mario have put together. I have some quadcopter chase video of him staying ahead of a lot of very fast riders on EUCs and Powerscooters.

I want to see Paul set hot laps with various scooters. I understand a lot comes down to rider, but that just means we need to see that variable neutralized and see how well these things work when pushed.
Maybe with Eric along too for some comparisons. I bet there might be scooters Eric can get more out of, and others Paul might perform better on.

Thanks so much! I started testing yesterday. Literally my first ride, was holding it pinned wide open for 1/2 a mile to find the top speed while fully charged! It’s the fastest thing we’ve ever tested, but we’re trying to figure out why it’s not as fast as the factory thought it would be. I may have to tweak and re-test. -Paul

I really thought about bringing out the X-limited we have in the office. If it wasn’t so heavy I would have at least brought it out to try. I was also concerned that if I crashed it, I would destroy a very expensive scooter. -Paul

Hey one thing I’m curious about is the throttle.. I haven’t seen 1 single thing about the throttle on this thing. If I had to guess they went with a twist throttle like the roadrunner pro.. but you can’t even see in the picture because it kinda looks like it may have a thumb throttle even..
The Roadster is a thumb throttle. It's a vertical one with fairly short throw, so it's a little twitchy in 5th gear. I pinned it for 1/2 a mile today fully tucked, with my head at handlebard height! It's faster than the GTR for sure, but not as fast as we thought. We'll have lots of coverage of the Roadster coming soon, including a full review. -Paul
Just a matter of time before a rider learns how to unlock game modes and corners like a street bike with straightaways in the 100mph+ range. The unlimited class might be a helluva show in the not too distant future.
im stuck deciding, getting my first e-scooter next year and cant decide between the Wolf King GTR and Inmotion RS.

Thanks so much! I think I slowed myself down by tearing my rotator cuff in a practice crash two weeks before the event. It didn't get in the way of my riding, but mentally kept me from taking it to the edge because I was worried of what would happen to my un-healed shoulder if I crashed again. Also this was Eric's 4th time racing here, so he just knew his way around this track so much better than I did. -Paul

Would love to see Eric on the Emove Roadster racing ! That being said I cannot wait for a Roadster but I am going to wait for the v2 after all the bugs are worked out of the v1 if any exist .

It's going to be a week or two for the full review, but we'll be dropping several shorts before hand! We just published one today th-cam.com/users/shortsAENrN5Owc6Q showing the wheels-off-the-ground speed. But there turned out to be an error in the motor magnet setting. The scooter said the wheels were free-spinning up to 193 mph on the work bench (not riding, but just spinning the wheels in the air), but I think it was actually about half of that. -Paul

I would love to see drag race between like the Nanrobot LS7+ 72 volt, Dualtron thunder 3, Dualtron storm 3, Xtreme vnom 11, Outstorm tond X1, Teverun 7260R, or any of your picks lol.😊

I ordered the rs midnight using your code and a few days later they cancelled it. Now unable to use your code. Poor customer experience with Voro Motors. Very disappointed to say the least. Have been watching all your videos and others about the RS Midnight and had been excited.
My Apollo Pro would get dusted lol I still love it though. I hope now that Apollo has got their luxury commute out-of-the-way that their next big project will be performance acceleration and speed.
They need to figure out what percentage of throttle curve limiting makes each model down to the same level and make the scooter producers get away from top speed for a few quarters or years and have them focus on just making the scooter better and better at the same power class. Then after we learn more let them get the more power on the track. Fun just more fun is why I suggest this
I was hoping a dualtron storm limited or X2 limited or vsett 11+ super 72 in the track.
I really thought about bringing the X Limited. I kind of wish I had. The Vsett 11+ Super would have been a great choice for handling, but is down on raw power (not that power is going to win the race, the two most powerful scooters came in 3rd and 4th). I wish I could spend a day testing them all. -Paul
I want to see you on a weped sonic, since you have motorcycle racing experience I feel like you could push it to its limits compared to others! and if you have no idea what it is... it's truly the fastest electric "production" scooter out of any of these, it maybe goes twice as fast as even the fastest one (over 100mph!). although calling it production might be pushing it with its heavy price tag and they hand build every scooter.

I wish these scooter companies start focusing on the folding and locking portion of the development instead of speed / acceleration because the locking aspect is most important to me. The Kaabo mantis king GT is the only scooter in my eyesight to buy. Unless your reading this and have some other suggestions

With the NAMI, the acceleration and the power to the front wheel can be reduced. Idk if that can be done on the Inmotion RS, but trying to go around a turn with the front tire peeling out is sketchy. Really I'd like to see scooters with a more powerful rear motor than front... At least on these more powerful scooters.

GTR or RS are excellent options for sure.
Store at 50% only charge above 90% when your about to use it. The battery will last a long time only charge what your gonna use and store at nominal as often as possible. Nominal is close enough to 50%

I planned on buying the GTR pretty soon im just not entirely sure though. I want to be able to ride around for a few hours at a time. So the range worries me. For that reason iv also been looking into the Obarter X7 with its 120 mile range. The only semi premium scooter i owned so far was the Yume M11H. It had a all the bells and whistles of a modern 3500 dollar scooter but it went 55mph with a 70 mile range, Absolutly loved it!!
I can guarantee the Obarter does not go 120 miles at any speed that a real person would ride it. The real world range of any scooter with a 3,600ah battery (the X7 is 60V x 60ah = 3600 wh) is going to be very close to 65 miles when ridden inside of a city. Our GTR did 43.2 city miles when we range tested it. That's two hours of continuous city riding, going a little faster than the cars. -Paul

@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide and if I were to to go only like 10mph on the gtr how many hours of use do you think I could get. Would be on a flat blacktop sidewalk in my city with little to no elevation.
At a steady 10 mph (no starting and stopping) the X7 might actually do 120 miles and the GTR might do 80 miles. So realistically, riding bicycle speeds with starts and stops, you might get the GTR up to 60 miles and the X7 up to 90 miles.
During the GTR range test, the top speed between stop signs was around 30mph. -Paul

I’m ten seconds in and my bets are on the Wolf GTR on a track.
I think the GTR would have done better on track with traction control turned on, and with better tires. In fact, I'm shocked they were running it in "S" mode. The Kaabo rider lost the front end, saved it, but ended up in the dirt at one point. -Paul

Thanks. I was trailing the brakes too deep into turn-1 at Bay Area Intro2Speed. I went out to do a shakedown run on the RS to see how it felt with PMT’s. That’s when I figured out I needed to upgrade the shocks and springs. I was probably going 20th, but fell from almost fully upright and must have landed badly on my left arm. Torn rotator cuff didn’t get in the way of racing, but it still hurts more than a month later. It’s slowly getting better though. -Paul
