There is no dual motor switch, but you do hold one of the buttons to toggle between single and dual motors, which isn't uncommon these days. With a 16 minute long video, we have to watch how much time we spend talking about each detail. It's always super tricky figuring out where to draw the line, since our audience is coming to the video with a wide variety of expectations. Some would be happy to just see us ride it and describe it. Some want details of every function within the operating system. -Paul
Great review! I love that you're the only channel scientifically testing every scooter in exactly the same way, and not just riding around faking reactions to the scooters like some channels do.
Glad that they added Traction Control. The constant wheel spin on takeoff is insane. Speaking of insanity. Paul is crazy insane crouching at almost 70mph. I get terrified doing it at 30.
This is the first time I wasn't wishing the scooter was faster. Seeing 76mph on the speedometer was a little spooky. The data logger doesn't give me the real numbers until we're back in the office. -Paul
This might be your best review yet! As a smaller rider at 5'6" I cant imagine riding something even bigger than my WK GT PRO which already took a bit to get used to. After getting used to it I can appreciate its height due to the visibility factor of vehicles being able to see you while feeling like you're driving a truck. The GTR at 3 inches taller (I believe) that sounds absolutely insane and definitely catored towards taller riders imo. All in all the feature I like the most is a quality of life upgrade in the memory system. The fact that it remembers your settings is such an easy small change that I wish all scooters implemented or had since the beginning. The other change is the removeable battery so I dont have to always charge my battery outside, especially when its either too cold or too hot. A big negative is definitely the range however. To me the WK GT PRO is still the king due to its price being so much lower than its competitors for its performance. That being said I do love all the upgrades on the GTR and happy Kaabo is listening to its customers!
Just want to say firstly that I really really LOVE your reviews. They are the most comprehensive of all the primary reviewers and you guys clearly know your stuff. Now, that being said, I wanted to address a point you made dealing with the front shock adjustment and the connection to how the front tire addresses the ground. I get that the adjustment appears to mainly serve as a pre-load adjustment which boils down to a compression response that really only translates to adjusting for rider weight, and that even the lowest setting is not enough for a 165lb rider. But, then you speak of the tendency for the great power and torque of the scooter to be causing front wheel spin even when moving at speed, in particular when accelerating out of turns or going uphill. But, It seems to me that the softer to make the front shock suspension the less downward pressure on the front wheel, so when the front shock compression setting is set to the lower positions then the less pressure is being applied to the front wheel as well (certainly rider weight in that the lighter the rider as in your 165lbs factors in, in that the less downward pressure will be applied on the front wheel). So, there will be more of a tendency for the front tire to want to spin out when applying more throttle. Taking that into consideration, one way to help combat a problem with excessive wheel spin or incomplete front wheel contact is to reduce the front tire pressure. I mean you don't want to reduce it to running almost on flat, but based on tire stiffness and other tire dynamics there is usually at least a 10 -15lb range on tire pressure that can greatly aid in addressing excessive tire spin. This comes more and more into play the lighter the rider! I would explore the possibility of not setting the compression on the front fork suspension so low and then incrementally dropping tire pressure until I (hopefully) one could find a sweet spot that provides the best front wheel response to applying throttle. Keeping the front suspension more stiff should translate to helping to keep greater downward pressure on the wheel and the less pressure in the tire should help in promoting greater tire contact with the road surface. The other factor still is the tire dynamic in respect to stiffness and the fact that it is a hybrid tire which is naturally not going to have as much rubber contact with the road surface as say a good road tire. Another thing to try is to find something with a little added weight (maybe a water drinking bag/lister bag or extra tools and supplies one might need during a long ride) and strap it low on the riders side of the front forks (that's not too bulky) and that will add a bit of added weight to the front end and help provide better tire contact with the road. Thanks again for this review, it has been long awaited and as always you guys do a great job. I did have a couple of questions though. When you were turning the traction control on it looked like you were able to do so on the fly by pushing one of the buttons on the trigger but the angle on the video did not allow for us to see if that is how you did it. The video didn't seem to cut for a moment for you to go into the menu to do it so I wasn't sure if that was going to be a feature that can be turned on easily on the fly while riding or what. Also, If I heard you right in order to get the top speed of the scooter above 60mph you had to put it in S-mode and then actually hit the button on the trigger one more time before it would go above 60mph and up to 68mph? If this is true which I hope you will clarify. I would think that means that hitting that one extra time after S-mode is how you get the controller to give you that extra 10a on top of the 100a? Please help?
To get into S mode, go one click beyond 5th gear. No matter what settings used, traction control is always off in S mode, but can be enabled or disabled in all lower gears 1 - 5. So the way I would toggle back and forth easily would be to switch between 5th and S mode, which also changes the current. But going the long way around, it's also more rideable in 5th with traction control on than 5th with traction control off. Toggling that seems to require going into the P-settings, but maybe there is a shortcut. I think you're right that lower tire pressure would help launch. It would hurt top speed a little though. For testing, I always run manufacturer's recommended pressure, or if there isn't one, I use the max printed on the tire. For personal use, I run about 10lbs lower. As as racer, I can tell you that having less preload on a stiff front end is good for traction. You always want the suspension optimized for your weight. A 600lb spring or 1200lb spring will ultimately deliver the same weight to the ground. The place you can make a difference is by changing your weight distribution from rear to front (unfortunately the forks can't slide upward in the clamps to lower the front), or lowering the tire pressure as you wisely suggested. Thanks so much for the kind words. I made this review for audience members like you who love the details! -Paul
Love these honest reviews. I appreciate the upgrades the GTR has but i also think its taken several steps backwards in other equally important categories. Overall i think ill stick with my King GT Pro. I cant get over the ride height.. i dont do any off reading.
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide good to know. I replaced the throttle on my gt pro with a Rion Curve. Really can't beat Rion. The hall effect sensor they're using is next level.
They aren't quite honest reviews, since they're essentially doing promotion work for the scooter companies. They aren't buying the scooters out of their own pocket, and they have a incentive with the companies - Hence why the reviews often tend to leave out crucial design flaws in favour of a more polished presentation of the company @RiderGuide
@Fazzmania64, please enlighten me on what we missed. I'm alway trying to make the next one better and more comprehensive, but also have to balance it out by not making the videos too long. This one is definitely pushing it in terms of length. -Paul
Thanks for a thorough review. Been trying to decided on a new scooters but i am waiting for the new models to come out. This one is definitely on my list. Just waiting for the new nami , nanrobot ls7+ if its going to be a 72 volt upgrade and the upgraded version of the fighter Supreme with the bigger tires. Keep up with the reviews it helps a lot with trying to pick a scooter.
I think acceleration is more fun that super high top speed wich is rather scary than fun. So a 0 to 40 mph short time is THE THING, rather than 66 mph top speed.
I agree, except I'm going with 0 to 30mph, for city riding anyway. Zero to 30 is also useful because there are a lot of really fun scooters that won't do 40 mph and I like to be able to compare their acceleration against the biggest fastest ones. -Paul
I was just thinking that NAMI is due for a major update to the BURN-E. It's such a good scooter, I'm not sure what I'd change on it just to make it new though. -Paul
they need to make a 80mph scooter that comfortably hits it. Nami is #1 - you can't beat the ride quality, feel and acceleration is insane, but also very lenear, smooth. @@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide
I thought the thumb throttle was weird when I first had rode my wolf king gt but after 10 rides I became a huge fan of it. The thumb throttle is king. Your thumb does a better job of small adjustments. Also with setting breaking your hand is in a better position and thumb can release the trigger better compared to the finger throttle
Personally for offroad and "bad" roads. I like the trigger. Holding onto the bars so they don't jump out is a bigger priority for me and my thumbs. But my scoot is bigger with bigger tires. Only scooter platform I know with 13in tires. I want the wolf series to take on 13ins. There's also something to be said about starting and peak wattage. The motors i use start out at 5000w so they are hella torquey but don't spin out. I can't do burn outs unless i hold the scooter, but I can go up the hill with no issues at 55% grade, without loosing grip. But going around a turn with a touch trigger in traffic is spooky. The scooter without traction control will like to pull that front wheel outward, unless you push down on it. =P Also I'm a big dude, so small people would definitely have some issues. In all fairness I used thumb throttles on AVT only. I don't have any scoot that has thumb accel... Can't wait to get a wolf series.
Completely agree on the trigger throttle being a step back. Way too easy to accidentally pull that instead of the brakes in a pinch. I have to say of all TH-camrs, Paul is my favorite reviewer.
Thank you so much! I really appreciate you saying that! One thing I forgot to put in the review, but we put in the written review: the thumb throttle from the King GT Pro fits and works. We plugged it in. I didn't ride it around with the thumb but tried it inside the office. -Paul
Unfortunately, yes. These are supposed to be fun toys and we should be able to buy and use them to have fun, going offroading and so on. Yet most of these have the same issue, they are not portable short of a large open bed pick up trucks. Having said that riding these fast when offroad, can be quite fun, like MTB. But a bicycle even many ebikes can be ridden without the power. Most if not all of these "beast" scooters cannot be ridden kick-scooter style. These should not be treated as equivalent to regular commuting bicycles, ebikes and bike equivalent escooters (e.g. emove cruiser, ninebot max G even GT1/2 etc.)
And the bringing of new regulation, restrictions and TAXES. Operating costs with my truck is no comparison.. in just monthly insurance not to mention maintenance, gas, annual tax sticker, annual safety inspection.... On medium power costs me 1 cent a mile and on high power hard riding, 2.5 cents per mile (data from 10 mile trips and charge time/power replaced @ 12.8 cents per kilowatt hour electricity). Let's keep our scooter riding free with responsibility of design/build thru to ownership/riding.
In my opinion, 8, 10 or 11 inch wheels are cool for a 15 mph scooter. For insane speeds, and even more for offroad, you'd need bigger wheels. There's a reason dirtbikes have 21 inch front wheels.
How I wish they retained the general specs of the GT Pro with a removable battery. That's a game changer for me. Kudos to RG and Paul for excellent reviews.
I totally feel the same I as well am all about Daultron but did think the RS was interesting, really looking forward to see what Daultron has in store in the years to come
I hear ya. I am more loyal to minimotors they are great have spoke to them on the phone for hours over the years. more company's need to be like that. Have a great day
It's true. We spend some time discussing each other's scooters during the review process and we always try to take the other person's experiences into account. Another reason I love having Mitchell on board! -Paul
Yes I think it's good for the viewer's because they get a perspective from two different size people you guys always give a straight and honest review on scooters I always see what you guys have to say about a scooter keep up the good work one of the best electric scooter reviewers on the internet 👍🏼
I don’t understand why kaabo doesn’t contact you personally, and request your advice and guidance on matters of approach to the scooter design improvement, for the wolf king gtr, and future iterations of this mechanical and electrical engineering marvel. i completely agree that the trigger throttle is not something i will use, i do not like the trigger throttle and it seems that only 1 out of 40 or so people, prefer the trigger throttle over the twist throttle or up/down thumb throttle, or even the wolf king gt pro thumb throttle is still preferable over any trigger finger throttle. i sold my 60mph nami burn e, and purchased the wolf king gt pro, because i prefer the high speed rock solid stability of the wolf king gt pro. the nami felt very unstable at higher speeds, over 50 mph, and i had a steering stabilizer on the nami as well. as long as i can change the throttle on the gtr to a twist throttle, or up/down thumb throttle, or the wolf king gt pro type thumb throttle, i will be happy to try the scooter and see how i like the scooter, compared to my present favorite scooter, the wolf king gt pro. may you please consider teaming up with a design student (or a number of or team of design students) at the art center college of design, and design your own scooter, with the best design qualities that you as a racer, like most. this would be a scooter to own! because you are a motorcycle racer, you really know and understand what is needed, what works best, and what you like and dislike. for example, i never understand why so many scooters that are capable of going very fast (over 60mph) could come with terrible stability, even when adding steering stabilization. i really enjoy watching your videos, and learning from the great masters of scooter technology!
I prefer no apps, scooter and ebike manufacturers are trying to sneak in an app dependency and many upselling an ongoing service fee to enable "advanced" features, which at the price point they sell these things, should be included.
Exactly. What happens if you don't have your phone or it's broken? Or if the app goes down or stops getting supported? Does your scooter or bike become a paperweight?
Tallest ever measured by a lot! We’re calling it 9.3 inches, but we measure from the ground to the lowest part of the deck, which is usually the kickstand mount. -Paul
Inmotions RS specs page lists the lowest the deck can be set to is 183mm which is 7.2”. A lot lower than this but a lot higher than 3 inches. 7.2 is about double the height my Ninebot Max G30 was. The adjustable height on the RS is an awesome feature
It would be. I doubt we'll ever get a Hunter Quad. Companies like that never seem to produce in large enough volume to have test units to send out. It's the same reason we never seem to get our hands on a Rion or Weped. We'd love to test them all. -Paul
Since scooters are getting faster how about a video about protection while driving? I drive varla pegasus with full face bicycle mtb helmet and I dont go over 25 km/h much. It would be nice to know what to wear because there is no videos talking about it for scooters. Nice video
I agree. Good idea. I thought about linking to my gear, but mine is ridiculous because it costs as much as a good scooter. It's the gear I already own for my daily motorcycle commute :-) -Paul
It might be costly but always think it is funny to see people buying the cheapest safety gear after spending 5 grand on the fastest scooter. I have put a lot of thought into my gear, you have to get your setup so it is not so much of a pain to put on so you will do it every time or you are going to have a crash the one time you don't. I wear level 2-3 MC Armor that goes under a shirt and pants so at first glance I don't look like I'm out raising hell :}@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide
It does. We don’t record 0-60 in our database because so few scooters go that fast, but I looked up the actual data in the spreadsheet just now and it’s 12.5 seconds. -Paul
I love these fast scooters but I'm not even thinking about getting one..but i did get a scooter max speed 35 mph which i enjoy.. videos like this one might convince me one day to get the world's fastest production electric scooter tho 😄
I got my back in December G. T. R And I have to say it's a it's a beautiful piece of machinery But I also bought the mantis king G. T. I need something for transportation for the car. And and I need to talk to you personally about this.Because I had some issues with voro motors That dude really, really p***** me off.But on the other And i'm not gonna put them down Just left the bad taste. That's all both mantis king G.T. And I've been having some serious issues with it. I'd like to get with you on this and see if you can help me out. I like your style. The way your videos, that's why I'm asking you. Stay safe.
Liked and subbed, I have been riding for years EUC's and onewheels and want to dip my toe into the waters of e-scooters as they do looks great and I think this might work for me getting to work and back on the gravel paths I ride. I will have to go and try one.
Great review as always. I recently bought the GTR and noticed it has less range than my Nami Burn e 2 max 32A (2022 model) I know it's heavier, but it has close to 35A. Does the traction control take more power from the battery? If so, how much % could I gain on a full charge if I remove this feature?
Traction control won’t reduce the range. You can turn it off by entering S mode but that will use even more electricity. We got 48 miles from the Burn e 2 Max with the 32ah battery and 43.2 miles from the GTR. The GTR is much taller, so it has a bigger wind profile. It also has a more aggressive throttle response. But we were also surprised it didn’t go further. -Paul
Okay, thanks! Does the system just lower the acceleration at all times when it is activated, or are there sensors that activate the function when needed like in a car. I don't get the impression that there are sensors..
The acceleration of the Pro and GTR are awesome, I don't know if I'll ever get used to my GTP burning out and popping a small wheelie when I gun it. The top speed of both are for suicidal people though so I went into the advanced settings and changed mode 2's power/voltage settings to the same as mode 5. Then set the top speed % to max out at about 38mph. So I get the crazy acceleration but top out at a speed that feels relatively safe, but still feels fast as hell (to me) There are a lot of configurability options in the advanced menu, it's awesome to play around with them. I like peeling out and zooming away at max power, and being able to have that with the speed limited is nice. And I didn't really use mode 2, so I made its power/voltage #'s the same as mode 4 and set the speed limiter so I max out at 28mph. All the accelerate to 28mph in like 3 seconds and topping out there, it feels fun and safe at the same time.
Unfortunately those things weren't included with our unit. It's not unusual with really early units. The owner's manual wasn't even published yet at the time we were testing and reviewing the scooter. -Paul
Mate, I always like your video. It is very informative and well presented. I was wandering if you are to give me an advice for my next Scooter upgrade. I am currently riding a 2023 Apollo city dual motor. My next Scooter upgrade preference are well built, smooth ride with a bit more powerful compare to my Apollo city. Been looking at Nami Klima. Your thoughts?
Im always keeping an eye out on all these reviews and new scooters. But for now nothing that has been released lately will come even close to getting me to replace my Nami Burn E2 40Ah. Unless you have ridden one its hard to explain just how smooth it is. Im still dialing in my suspension and also have some new Stradale PMTs to install. After that it will be PERFECT!
Hi Paul, ive been watching your reviews for years now. You guys are awesome, and such a help for us scooter nerds!!! Thanks for all you guys do! I currently have a vsett 11+, and looking to get another scoot. Seriously considering this GTR, or maybe the new dualtron thunder 3.... Any thoughts on those? Have you ridden a thunder 3 yet? Thanks! Danny
Thanks so much for the kind words. We haven't tested the Thunder III and I'm not sure we'll get to it in the next 6 months. The GTR is just bonkers fast. The Inmotion RS has a nice blend of speed and handling. The BURN-E would also be ahead of the Thunder III on my list, but who knows if I'd feel the same way if I rode the Thunder III. Dualtron had such a lead in the market place and then rested on reputation for so long. I hope they have really made some upgrades on the Thunder III. The X-Limited really impressed me, so I know they are capable. -Paul
Can you turn the regen braking off ? It’s the only part of the scooter I hate. You hit the brakes and 1 second later you get a huge braking surge !! Any help would be appreciated!! Love the vids
This is the worlds fastest? Have u tried the ff Solar black edition? It’s similar but it’s a 72v 40ah scooter this is a 35ah I believe but yea I have yet to see a review on this scooter I’d love to see you do a review on this beast lol
I still wish there was a version that was right in-between the GT and GTR with all the features of the GTR but the height an inch or two lower and the battery of the GT
Good question. One thing I noticed is that the motor cables are absolutely huge. I didn't compare them back to back with the GT Pro, but I think they made them thicker to handle the increased current. -Paul
And also less loss of power transfer from battery controller to motor under high current where the larger wire will have less loss. Keep cool ; ) cool wire less loss... sux when I feel I need to explain my attempts at humor@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide
Thank you for this good review! Questions to you and the community: Why so expensive? Is not a lot of material. The single parts are not really expensive. A motorcycle is compared to this scooter inexpensive. Why a machine that cannot be street legal in most of the countries? It doesn't make sense. Why riding on small wheels 65 mph? Why not riding on bigger wheels?
I'm considering getting a GTR. How's the regen breaking? I saw someone mentioned it doesn't activate regen breaking under 20MPH. Is that true for yours as well? I have an Apollo scooter with the Mach 1 controller and the regen breaking has me spoiled lol.
All the Wolves suspension is simply too stiff. I’m 160lbs and have to jump on the platform to make barely go down, which makes the ride really hard. Otherwise, my Wolf is great fun and dangerously fast. Great review!
I am looking at the gt pro. Is there away to lock this up when at the gym or shopping? Taking the battery with you feasible? Is there away to use a bike lock? Is the display easily removable? How do people secure these scooters?
i have just enjoyed that again paul and i have just gone to comment and i already have 😊sick scooter though paul i could only dream about havin one of them mate but luved your video
The tiny battery really kills my interest in this beast. It should have atleast a 40ah battery like Thunder 2/3. Then it would be the best scooter ever. The ridiculous ride height and low handlebars don't help either.. But awesome job on the video, love you guys' reviews.
Hello guys, thank you very much for your efforts,I love your channel, I came across a scooter that I really liked but I can't take a decision to buy it or not, so please make a review on it, the scooter name is Blade F8 , it goes around 75 mil/h and have two versions one of them with a seat. They claim the range of one charge is 90 to 120 km. Thank you
We’ve never seen a 75mph scooter so far, but many have claimed to do it. I would be skeptical until you can find someone who has one and can tell you what it’s like. We dont have plans to review on any time soon, but I’ll look at the specs for you. -Paul
Ok, I had a look. Very strange spec. Big battery at 72v and 40 ah, But 4000 watts isn’t going to hit 60mph, let alone 75. Maybe 75?kmh. I’ll read up on it though. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. -Paul

I need some help/ advice deciding between the Roadrunner pro and a Wolf King GT pro I ordered a roadrunner pro for local transportation and to do some doordash deliveries, but I'm wondering if I made the wrong choice. I'm 6'7 265, The rrp is cheaper and I feel like it makes more sense to sit if I'm going to be doing deliveries, but it's pretty small. The wolf king is more expensive, and the tires are smaller, but it's up higher, there are few seat attachments, and Tanakorn is making a swing arm to add larger wheels. Any advice or anecdotes are appropriated
For sure I’d go RR pro for deliveries, especially if you want the option of wearing things on your back. The pull of the Wolf King GT Pro standing up, means you’re hanging on with your hands a lot to stay connected to the scooter. The RR Pro lets you anchor with your butt so you’re just planted there when the power comes on, even if you have weight on your back. -Paul
Wow. Quite a bit more power than initial specs stated. I'm very glad to see that. There are definitely some nice upgrades here. The height, though...just too tall. And the significantly decreased range is a big hit. I do have a better opinion of it now. Great review, as always.
Thanks so much. I still can't explain the range drop. I didn't feel like I was riding harder than usual. It's possible that larger tires make the motors operate in a less efficient way when accelerating (more current to pull off the same torque). -Paul
How to swap out throttle? Want to have all the buttons on the left and thumb throttle on the right because the springs don’t wear out as much as index throttle
I should have mentioned. I tried plugging in the Wolf King GT throttle and it worked. I don't know if the wires will reach the other side or not, if you want to swap which side the buttons are on. I know lots of people swap the NAMI buttons from side to side. -Paul
I have a WKGTP, I hope with maybe a little modding we’ll be able to get these rims for for the GTP. I’d love bigger tires and ones that would be easier to change when I get a flat tire. These are the exact same motors right? I really want to look into these rims on the Pros
@RiderGuide the G63 by Ridingtimes goes half the speed has 11inch tires and removable battery and comes in single or dual motor versions plus one additional version and is a fraction of the price...yall should do a review on it.

@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide better suspension even though the Vsett has dual coil on the back? Also Vsett goes 65mph, so is GTR only marginally faster? How would you compare the handling? Considering the GTR is taller compared to the super 72?
why would you want dampening in the front when this scooter can literally reach speeds that'll seriously injure you... you never see a sports car with coupe de Ville suspension for a reason. i think its fine just the way it is for a reason.
I’d like to. It gets a mention in an upcoming video about worlds fastest electric scooters. Unfortunately it’s not on the testing radar right now. I’ll see if we can get one. -Paul
Do you think the new controllers are insufficient ? Maybe that's why the range is so low.
-Paul
Incredible review! 😮 See you on Rider Fest! 🎉😊
Can't wait! -Vosk
Love these honest reviews. I appreciate the upgrades the GTR has but i also think its taken several steps backwards in other equally important categories. Overall i think ill stick with my King GT Pro. I cant get over the ride height.. i dont do any off reading.
One thing I forgot to mention, but will be in our written review is that the throttle for the GT Pro plugs right into the GTR. -Paul
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide good to know. I replaced the throttle on my gt pro with a Rion Curve. Really can't beat Rion. The hall effect sensor they're using is next level.
I have the exact same opinion. A few steps forward and one or two back.
-Paul
Excelent video test. For tall riders ( i am 6.3") which one would you recommend? INMOTION RS or KING GTR?
The Inmotion should be better for taller riders. You can use go RGMIDNIGHT for $500 off
When i took mine out. I knelt and hit 66.1 mph. GTR is a beast!
Wow! Stay safe out there.
Really!? you hit 66 mph on an electric scooter?
If yes, what scooter do you have?
@@pattraparojanasomsith4666 I have the same one here. The Kaabo Wolf King GTR.
Thanks so much! -Paul
-Paul
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide I hope you get to try Teverun offerings from minimotors, they interest me alot.
I've always said this. These hyperscooters are really fun from 0 to 40 or so, beyond that all your doing is killing the battery super quickly.
You've got GUTS to go that fast! 😅
A wild reviewer appears 😮
Paul is the man for sure! -Vosk
It's everyday over here --Wolf King GT owner.
Thanks Ben! This was the first time when I wasn’t wishing it would go faster. Great to see you here
-Paul
I think the GTR and RS will be the big boys of the top dog spot. Wonder if Nami will bring out something stronger to compete
I was just thinking that NAMI is due for a major update to the BURN-E. It's such a good scooter, I'm not sure what I'd change on it just to make it new though. -Paul
I think the burn E 3 max is coming to the US
they need to make a 80mph scooter that comfortably hits it. Nami is #1 - you can't beat the ride quality, feel and acceleration is insane, but also very lenear, smooth. @@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide
I'm sure they will as long as yall keep paying 4k plus
I thought the thumb throttle was weird when I first had rode my wolf king gt but after 10 rides I became a huge fan of it. The thumb throttle is king. Your thumb does a better job of small adjustments. Also with setting breaking your hand is in a better position and thumb can release the trigger better compared to the finger throttle
Awesome!
thanks for this comment, great info actually
Lol I didn't know you were a motorcycle road racing champ, that's badass
It's been a while (2002), but I still prefer commuting by motorcycle vs car. (scooter if I didn't have to use the freeway to get to work) -Paul
What a beast. Thanks for the review.
No problem 👍
Completely agree on the trigger throttle being a step back. Way too easy to accidentally pull that instead of the brakes in a pinch. I have to say of all TH-camrs, Paul is my favorite reviewer.
Thank you so much! I really appreciate you saying that!
One thing I forgot to put in the review, but we put in the written review: the thumb throttle from the King GT Pro fits and works. We plugged it in. I didn't ride it around with the thumb but tried it inside the office. -Paul
What about just learning to use the left brake by default?
These things are basically turning into stand-up motorcycles. How fast is too fast? Pretty soon we'll have to put license plates on these things.
Might be headed in that direction! -Vosk
Let's keep our scooter riding free with responsibility of design/build thru to ownership/riding.
... but I do luv it : )
I'll stick with commuting with my less tame Emove Cruiser. That thing is a beast. Maybe I'll try it one day.
Crazy super e-scooter, it's a real killer on steep hills as well!👍👍☺️
It sure is! -Vosk
I should go jump it off of the hill where we jumped the NAMI! -Paul
Paul, thank you for having me!@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide
In my opinion, 8, 10 or 11 inch wheels are cool for a 15 mph scooter. For insane speeds, and even more for offroad, you'd need bigger wheels. There's a reason dirtbikes have 21 inch front wheels.
This one has 12”, so we’re heading in the right direction. -Paul
Difference in range mainly comes frome the bigger and larger 12 inch tires!!
Great video as usual 👌🏼🙏🏼
How I wish they retained the general specs of the GT Pro with a removable battery. That's a game changer for me. Kudos to RG and Paul for excellent reviews.
Interesting take!
Im all about Dualtron but i cant front, Kaabo did a good job on this one.
I totally feel the same I as well am all about Daultron but did think the RS was interesting, really looking forward to see what Daultron has in store in the years to come
Don't be so loyal to a brand. You don't want to cripple yourself for nothing.
I hear ya. I am more loyal to minimotors they are great have spoke to them on the phone for hours over the years. more company's need to be like that. Have a great day
I think you and Mitchell are always going to see the scooter differently because of your builds good video
Interesting ideas! Thanks for sharing. -Vosk
I prefer no apps, scooter and ebike manufacturers are trying to sneak in an app dependency and many upselling an ongoing service fee to enable "advanced" features, which at the price point they sell these things, should be included.
We agree. We like a good app, but aren't fans of app-dependency (look for me to steal this term from you in upcoming videos! It's a good one.). -Paul
Exactly. What happens if you don't have your phone or it's broken? Or if the app goes down or stops getting supported? Does your scooter or bike become a paperweight?
finally someone showed me how water resist the display is. Thank you sir!
The wolf king gtr and Inmotion rs are basically completely opposite in terms of ride height. 3 inches (at its lowest) on the RS vs 10.5 on the gtr.
Would be pretty cool if you guys reviewed the hunter quad 2x2
It would be. I doubt we'll ever get a Hunter Quad. Companies like that never seem to produce in large enough volume to have test units to send out. It's the same reason we never seem to get our hands on a Rion or Weped. We'd love to test them all. -Paul
Ya i hear ya Paul also like to see the Slack core, really enjoyed this review man. You have a great sense of humor@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide
Since scooters are getting faster how about a video about protection while driving? I drive varla pegasus with full face bicycle mtb helmet and I dont go over 25 km/h much. It would be nice to know what to wear because there is no videos talking about it for scooters. Nice video
Interesting idea! Thanks for the tip. -Vosk
I agree. Good idea. I thought about linking to my gear, but mine is ridiculous because it costs as much as a good scooter. It's the gear I already own for my daily motorcycle commute :-) -Paul
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide thats ok, maybe when you would get cheaper stuff and types like bicycle protection you would show differences and so on.
Hey Paul, good review! Does the Wolf King GT have an actually 0-60 time?
Fair enough!
I got my back in December G. T. R And I have to say it's a it's a beautiful piece of machinery
But I also bought the mantis king G. T. I need something for transportation for the car. And and I need to talk to you personally about this.Because I had some issues with voro motors That dude really, really p***** me off.But on the other And i'm not gonna put them down Just left the bad taste. That's all both mantis
king G.T.
First! Great Video and so stoked for Rider Fest🎉!
Us too! -Vosk
removable batterys are awesome . keep one in your pack on a long trip and have fun not having range anxiety just swap it out when it dies
The BEST review I've ever seen. Thank you big time !!
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks you!! Great video. How long in between the release of the GT Pro and GTR?
It was about a year and half
All the accelerate to 28mph in like 3 seconds and topping out there, it feels fun and safe at the same time.
i hope to buy this next year i'm so hyped
Kaabo now makes a rear tire hugger fender and an NFC key start option, I dont know why but, no scooter channel is mentioning this 🤷
Unfortunately those things weren't included with our unit. It's not unusual with really early units. The owner's manual wasn't even published yet at the time we were testing and reviewing the scooter. -Paul

Unless you have ridden one its hard to explain just how smooth it is. Im still dialing in my suspension and also have some new Stradale PMTs to install. After that it will be PERFECT!
Awesome
-Paul

What’s if u install the gtr controller on the gt pro, will it gives the same performance as the gtr thinks
Keep cool ; )
cool wire less loss... sux when I feel I need to explain my attempts at humor@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide That is a great question. Could you guys find out if it's possible and viable?
Thank you for this good review! Questions to you and the community: Why so expensive? Is not a lot of material. The single parts are not really expensive. A motorcycle is compared to this scooter inexpensive. Why a machine that cannot be street legal in most of the countries? It doesn't make sense.
Why riding on small wheels 65 mph? Why not riding on bigger wheels?
It’s actually quite expensive! The battery is the most expensive part. -Vosk
I'm considering getting a GTR. How's the regen breaking? I saw someone mentioned it doesn't activate regen breaking under 20MPH. Is that true for yours as well? I have an Apollo scooter with the Mach 1 controller and the regen breaking has me spoiled lol.

The tiny battery really kills my interest in this beast. It should have atleast a 40ah battery like Thunder 2/3. Then it would be the best scooter ever.
The ridiculous ride height and low handlebars don't help either..
But awesome job on the video, love you guys' reviews.
There are bigger batteries out there but for the vast majority this battery is more then enough. -Vosk
I hear ya looking forward to a full review of the Thunder 3 looks like it has some interesting new stuff like new suspension design and I-4

Big battery at 72v and 40 ah,
But 4000 watts isn’t going to hit 60mph, let alone 75. Maybe 75?kmh. I’ll read up on it though. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. -Paul

I need some help/ advice deciding between the Roadrunner pro and a Wolf King GT pro
I ordered a roadrunner pro for local transportation and to do some doordash deliveries, but I'm wondering if I made the wrong choice.
I'm 6'7 265,
The rrp is cheaper and I feel like it makes more sense to sit if I'm going to be doing deliveries, but it's pretty small.
The wolf king is more expensive, and the tires are smaller, but it's up higher, there are few seat attachments, and
Tanakorn is making a swing arm to add larger wheels.
-Paul
Probably the larger tires/deck height + heavier ride, torque, and some tiny differences of the ride of course@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide
Is it suitable for 14 year olds?
It may be a little too much for 14 year old!
-Paul
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuideTHANKS Paul! 😊❤
I have a WKGTP, I hope with maybe a little modding we’ll be able to get these rims for for the GTP. I’d love bigger tires and ones that would be easier to change when I get a flat tire.
These are the exact same motors right? I really want to look into these rims on the Pros
That would be cool! Keep us updated. -Vosk
When charging the battery do you have to use both ports or can you use just one or will it just take longer ?
Either options are fine!
@RiderGuide the G63 by Ridingtimes goes half the speed has 11inch tires and removable battery and comes in single or dual motor versions plus one additional version and is a fraction of the price...yall should do a review on it.
Thanks for stopping by! -Vosk
My buddy just got one of the gtr’s. The thing makes me look like a child on my Hiboy s2 lol
It’s a beast for sure!
Nice power slide Paul 😎 15:33
Thanks! -Paul
Please test the segway P100s!!
I wish Segway would send us one. We have a good relationship with them, but for some reason the P100s has not come our way and isn't on the radar right now. It's such a nice looking scooter. -Paul
Please please please do a nanrobot ls7+ it’s such a good budget competitor that’s not being talked about
i understand the battery is removable which would make loading in car easier if the battery is removed
Yes
So, comparing this video to the GT Pro video, the tested range of the GTR is 43.2mi and the GT Pro is 55mi. It seems a huge step back. Is it correct?
Faster and less range!
When we get to these fast scooters, the throttle should be taken from motorcycles or sleds to maximise your grip
Whats better GT2 or King GTR?
Can’t go wrong with either!
Just wondering what is the correct psi in this,I've been putting in 38psi because that's what it says on the tire for max psi,but people are saying that's not enough air, what are your thoughts on this
I recently bought a Vsett super 72, is it worth buying a wolf king GTR?
Both are excellent scooters but GTR is faster and better suspension!
Will you test the Teverun Fighter Supreme? Its looking realy good..
I’d like to. It gets a mention in an upcoming video about worlds fastest electric scooters. Unfortunately it’s not on the testing radar right now. I’ll see if we can get one. -Paul
I did hear that is insainly fast, would love to see it go against GTR or a Nami, it shuld be close..
Thank you, looking forward to it..
Please make a video about the riding gear you wear?
Excellent idea! -Vosk
You guys should do a review on the solar ff 2.0. How does he crouch at 70 mph??
It’s in the plans! Thank You
Do you think the new controllers are insufficient ? Maybe that's why the range is so low. I've always liked the fact that every previous Kaabo had no restrictions on power and there wasnt a "boost mode" or a "turbo mode" button , but now that kinda changed with the new controller they put in the GTR
Why are they insufficient!?
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide I don't know... that's why I'm asking you....
I heard or read it has something to do with the controllers being larger and/or not working efficiently in conjunction with the motors themselves and also heard or read that it's because the voltage or amperage 🤷🤷 idk that's why I asked you guys at Rider Guide ESG
batteries are not Korean. The new battery is CCP chinese communist brand.
Awesome job, was waiting for your review of that scooter. Any tips from your experience how to ride two engine scooters? I'm struggling how to take turns, usually when I'm taking a turn I slow down or just don't press throttle and press it again when going out from the corner.
It’s always better to keep both motors working at all times!!
yes but how to take turns then? :) if i will keep speeding up while taking a turn i will fly off the road ;D@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide
I’m 200 pounds hit 64.8 standing straight up things crazy !
Stay safe out there!
Is the GTR waterproofed?
Resistant!
What burns me up is out of the box to reinsert the battery is almost impossible with out forcing it!
I think they’ve updated it at least once since we tested it.
