yea man, I've never seen anything burn out all the way to 45mph. It's a waste of tires but cool as hell lol. I'd love to see this scooter race your custom roadrunner! If I were in one of those cars I'd be like wtf as well lol
Ordered mine a few weeks ago. I hope I get it soon. Battery charger seems to be the hold up. I hope the Stair Master GTR is worth the wait. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for watching the video and welcome to the channel Coacoabiscuts! First, congratulations on your new scooter. I'm excited for you to experience it for the first time! Just take your time going through the modes and make sure you take advantage of the customizability in the P Settings, that will really let you personalize the performance to suit your riding style. All the scooter's settings in the is video are stock and it's actually incredibly fun to ride as is. If you're taller, the deck height won't be much of a problem. PS, just be sure to armor up and wear protective gear when riding in the higher modes. I'm wearing CE2 and kevlar lined body armor (pants and sweater) in the video.
@@eyebahnrides Thank you and absolutely on the safety part as well! I'm sure I'll try to stay in 2nd and 3rd gear modes to start to get used to it. It's my first scooter so I'm going to respect the beast. Have you run into any issues so far?
Hey mate, I’ve just bought one myself and I’ve had it delivered today and it is the nicest thing you’ve ever seen in your life. You are going to be so happy when it arrives. It is freaking awesome
Ivan, your videos are unique, you manage to get so many points cleared, and NYC makes the perfect place for better or worse. :-D Keep bringing those amazing reviews!
Thanks for watching this one as well Andrew! I try to cover the good and the bad during these first impressions while going over some of the details that we commuters/ high power PEV enthusiasts are looking for. NYC is a great place to test out all these different things but the hardest thing to test here in the city is top speed. It took me a while to film those speed runs because I had to wait till we had space just incase anything goes wrong. Hopefully I can get my hands on a few more bikes and scooters so that I can keep doing these first impression videos!
Thanks for watching the video and welcome to the channel! FFR and FFR BK have been amazing. They do an incredible job through the whole sales process and an even better job with after sales service. Highly recommend them!
Bro, I'm glad you got to try it out. I'm like you, not really down with the deck height. I'm honestly pleased with my GT Pro and see no need to move to the GTR. Excellent first impressions review. Ride That Tasty Wave
Thanks for watching Weldon, I'm glad you enjoyed it because it was alot of fun to ride! I was inspired by your camera angles so I tried them out for his one. Those low angles do a great job of capturing how the scooter and your lower body is responding to the craziness of the road! I got to try the GT Pro while i was there and I prefer the ride feel over the GTR. Honestly, that deck height will ruin it for alot of people because its so high and people will have trouble getting on and off the scooter.
@eyebahnrides thank you bro! I really appreciate those kind words. I have to say, it all looked really good and crispy. Right on, I know the GT is a long drop for me with my leg. That's why I prefer the seat when stopping. It's easier for me just to put my leg down and not have a huge drop. But when I'm moving, I love to stand until my good leg gets tired. I bet with a seat it might feel better, but I know everyone likes to slam people with a seat. But they can pound sand, at least I'm still able to ride and not hurt. That's all that matters to me. Ride That Tasty Wave
Thank you for citing the battery type and UL certification. This is crucial information, both for evaluation of fire safety, and eventually, legal compliance. Too often overlooked in other reviews. Safe charging inside one's home has to be a key concern. In this case, being able to charge the battery inside a fireproof bag is icing on the cake. IMHO, with 10k+ city miles, most practical for NYC everyday is a class 4, for versatility vs performance. Very maneuverable and allows for carrying up an unexpected flight of stairs. For very long distance with guaranteed no lift required, these class 5's shine. Sine wave controllers bring the smoother acceleration curve. Some have adopted, some still use more aggressive analog (eg DualTron Thunder 3), they say for reliability.
Thanks for watching and welcome to the channel! Thanks for chiming in and taking the time to share. Especially for those of us in NYC I think information like that is really important to share if we can get our hands on the the info. You're right about the removable battery and charging in a bag being a game changer. That's incredible for our peace of mind but more importantly, it'll allow us to get around the bans that are occurring all over NYC. I don't quite believe that the previous controllers are more reliable but what do I know lol, I'm just a guy riding the scooters. I'm not an engineer or a programmer. I really like the stock modes theyve put into the scooter. Great options for NYC.
thanks for watching and welcome to the channel Andrew! Glad you enjoyed the video because it was definitely a crazy scooter. It was such a crazy ride and overkill for 90% of riders, so I'm not sure what else they can do with the performance. However, I hope they do take the time to improve that deck height because my legs were sore after the ride because of all the stepping up and down I had to do because of the traffic lol!
Thanks for watching! It’s definitely terrifying. That’s why I stand by my statement that these types of high performance scooters are generally overkill for most people and situations. On a daily basis, I never come close to these speeds.
You have to keep in mind the top speed isn’t there for you to travel at that rate all the time, it’s good to have to get yourself out of the way and to torque you out of trouble. Also remember, it’s battery powered so more speed equals less range. It’s not made to ride full out all the time.
thanks for watching and welcome to the channel Space. Yea, they went to the "new" trigger throttle. I liked the thumb throttle as well but wish they they used a "Polish Throttle" instead
Thanks for watching and welcome to the channel Richard! After all those mountings and dismountings from the whole ride, my legs were pretty sore the next day. It's quite the step for those of us that aren't that tall. I had to make sure I was switching sides so my legs would be even lol
I imagine the FFR guys clenching their teeth watching you slam into those potholes :D I feel like the Kaabo Wolf King line is aimed at the gixxer squids of the Escooter community. Whenever I see one (which to be fair, is very rarely) I have mad respect for the riders, but can't say I'm jealous at all. :)
Thanks for watching Nic! When I was editing the video I was like …”damn I hit those potholes pretty hard 😅”. I’m glad I had them increase the tire pressure. Yup, each of the brands definitely have a instantly recognizable rider community lol. It’s like when I see the Weped guys in NyC cosplaying as a power ranger with all the external body armor on that’s back lit with LEDs. I definitely get the hype and the desire to fit in but I agree with you, I’m happy being me floating in between communities 😂
I own the GT pro and I never see other people on high performance scooters in NYC the most I see is just a ninebot max or e-bikes/mopeds. I’ve only ever seen 1 nami and WKGT lol and I got my wolf king from fluid in Brooklyn as well they are amazing, chuck is great!
Thanks for watching and welcome to the channel! Chuck and the team are great, they've always been super responsive and super helpful even with the stupidest questions I ask lol. That's interesting, I see TONNNNSSSSS of them going from Queens to Manhattan every day. In my morning commute, I will see any combination of wolves, dualtrons, namis, eucs, eskates, surrons, and s73s in the 20 minutes it takes me to get to midtown lol. What time do you usually navigate the city?
Thanks for watching this video! This scooter was a ton of fun to ride and shoot. It's my first time in a long time riding a wolf and I enjoyed all the quality of life improvements they made and some of the new features on WKGTR.
I’m looking to get one I live in the city as well I like the removable ul battery and easy spots to lock it up ie handle bars&back bars. My problem is the deck height as well wish it were a way to lower them.
I've seen a few people with this in the city and I always wonder how their legs are holding up when riding in stop and go traffic. I guess it'd be easier as a taller person but the bars are so low that it'd be weird riding with bars that low. I continue to wonder lol. The bigger tires, the performance, and most importantly the UL certification are all big pluses for those of us in NYC. I hope they manage to bring it down to match the other wolves in the next generation so it's more comfortable for city riders!
thanks for watching and welcome to the channel Ted! The last time I visited my college campus, I saw a bunch people with commuter scooters, ebikes, and a few with eboards. I had the exact same feeling as you when I saw them. It used to take anywhere between 45min- 1.5 hours to get to campus from where I lived because it was a train and two bus rides away from home. It took me 25 minutes to get there on my old Burn E!
thanks for watching the video and welcome to the channel! I'm glad you enjoyed the video, it was a lot of fun to make! I'm not sure if they're available through official channels here in the US yet but I've been told by wolf owners in NYC they've picked it up on Ali Express or they ask the retailer if it can be sourced for them. Honestly, I haven't looked into it because I've never really considered adding a seat to my scooters.
Lov this vid. What kind of gloves u wear and is it easy to ride with them. So what im also asking if u fall off the scooter will they protect ur hands.
Thanks for watching and I’m glad you enjoyed it! It was a lot of fun to record 🙏🏼. These are my 3 season motorcycle gloves from Revvit. They’re great beucasr they breathe and provide skid protection on the palm, protection on the knuckles, and cuff support for the wrist. It will help protect you but honestly even these types of gloves can only do so much at these speeds
thanks for watching the video and welcome to the channel Jerome! Sorry for the delayed reply, I've been away for the holiday. That's pretty insane cus the potholes on the BQE are crazy lol. I'm sure blasting it through at high speed is going to eat through that battery pretty quick!
Well said on the general breakdown about the muscle car comparison because I have a 100 lb 6,000 watt scooter and I feel the same way I thought upgrading I was going to be more Nimble and jumping around but I feel like I'm surfing on a snowmobile, it's heavy but take your time people and don't lean hard on them handlebars at high speeds
great point about the handle bars! Some people put soooooo much pressure on the stem because they pull and push on the bars too hard. That's generally because they're riding in a mode that may exceed their current experience level. Riding posture and stance is everything. Those really help relieve some of that stress on the scooter.
@@eyebahnrides real early when I was trying to get used to the bigger scooter I had a couple times where I had some tank slapping speed wobbles and I wouldn't wish that on anybody
thanks for watching the video and welcome to the channel Kurt! Glad you enjoyed the first impressions of the GTR because it was alot of fun to make. If I started this channel a year sooner, I would've probably had EUC content on here as well. After my accident where I broke some bones, I found it really hard to get back on an EUC. I was actually about to buy an S22 but backed out because I was so uncomfortable on it during the test ride. The last thing you want to be is scared of the PEV and timid on it. Hopefully I'll be able to get back into it one day 🙏🏼
thanks for joining us for this review! I'm surprised, I thought that a company like Rider Glide would have it since they carry Nami. Is it not available because of legal restrictions or are there no distributors out there?
Thanks for watching this video on the GTR and welcome to the channel Damian! It's definitely tall and built like a tank. I can see this scooter surviving all kinds of abuse on the trails
thanks for watching this overview of the WKGTR. That would be great if we could fit larger packs in to these scooters. I'm kinda hoping they stabilize those solid state batteries as well
Thanks for watching and welcome to the channel! Yea man, Mode 5 S Mode is something else. All the settings were stock so I can't imagine what we can do once we start messing with the Psettings. How have you liked your GTR so far?
@slimdunkin117 yeaaaa, it definitely gives you an idea but damn.... it was quick as hell and definitely overkill for most situations like most beast/high performance scooters lol
@@eyebahnrides No complaints really. One thing that did fail immediately was both chargers but they've rectified that. I'm 6'4 so the added height doesn't bother me and 35ah battery is JUST enough for my usual routes + fast charging. I own a few other performance scooters and the GTR is definitely my new favorite BTW you can run through your battery riding in S Mode full bast (non stop 60+mph runs, hard accelerations) for about 30 minutes till it just shuts off completely. Don't ask me how I know haha
@@SSpecialDelivery I'm glad they were able to fix that and that makes sense with you being ok with the deck height lol. My legs felt like I did a light leg work out the next day because it was quite high lol. At 6'4, did you get risers or taller handlebars? Even at 5'8 I felt that the bars were quite low. 🤣🤣🤣 "A friend of mine" had a similar experience with the Burn E on max + turbo settings. The 35ah battery lasted for about 45 min of high speed riding with occasional stops lol
thanks for joining us for this GTR overview and welcome to the comments section! The Brooklyn location was closed for renovations because they had to make sure that they were in compliance with the new fire safety codes for shops that work on and sell lithium ion battery powered products. They've been closed for a minute now so I hope that means they're opening up soon.
Thanks for watching the video and welcome to the channel Drew! FFR BK has a demo unit of the GTR since they were thinking about carrying it. You can definitely check it out there and ask to see if they still have plans to eventually sell it. They usually wait a little to work out the kinks they find in the unit they receive
Thanks for watching the review and welcome to the channel Tyler! Apologies for the delayed response. Back to back illness took me out for a while and I'm finally getting back to work and finally catching up here on TH-cam. I'm glad you enjoyed this one because it was the first time I reviewed anything outside of the Nami brand. I really enjoyed it and hope that I can do a few more of these in the future. I've gotten to try plenty of scooters over the years and I don't think there's any scooter that can rival the suspension of the Nami Burn E, Burn E2, and Burn E2Max. The E and E2Max are really close to the GTR as far as acceleration but only goes up to 60 MPH (I was able to get my Burn E up to 61 when the scooter was new and it had a full charge). The next closest as far as performance with a plush suspension that I've personally tried is the Dualtron X. That thing is incredible with those massive tires and Nami-like suspension. I'm hoping to get my hands on the new Emove, the Inmotion RS, and the Apollo Pro in the future. When those come out I'll finally be able to speak about them lol. I know that there wasn't alot of options there but I hope this little bit of insight helps with your search!
thanks for watching the first impression of the GTR and welcome to the channel! I'm glad you enjoyed the video. This scooter was insane in terms of performance but I still like the GT pro more. That tall deck was really off putting and felt really high up
@@eyebahnrides The performance is definitely what I am after. But the price tag on the other hand...lol I got a refurbished HiBoy S2 and while its a decent entry level, it just doesnt have the things I need now that I am more comfortable with escooters! Riding is great though! A fantastic way to calm the stress and anxiety I constantly have lol Being short, having a tall deck would be interesting.
@@SaltyScootsVLOG ride therapy is one of the best forms of therapy. Yea, I’m shorter too so that deck being that high up made my legs sore the next day with all the dismounting from the stop and go traffic
@@eyebahnrides I feel that, having no suspension on the HiBoy S2 has been murdering my knees and legs. Definitely cannot wait to upgrade one day! I think I am looking at a Yume Y11+. More then I wanna spend but I think it would be the one that I never upgrade from.
3 things I would've liked to see on the GTR as a current GT owner, would be a higher top speed. Next thing would be for both mode 4s in single and dual motor mode to reach top speed, just in less time than mode 5 would reach say 40 seconds to max in single motor mode 4, and 30 something to max in dual motor mode 4. Last thing would be the thumb throttle, or a new twist throttle
Thanks for watching and welcome to the channel Kelz! Also, thanks for sharing the insight! The GTR is fast, but I was surprised that they didn't go for 70+mph since its only a little faster than the current GT/ GTP. I guess their goal is to do nominal upgrades every year to the power and performance while spending most of their time on the features like battery, certifications, and quality of life improvements. I'd be interested to see how the thumb throttle or a "polish throttle" would change the experience with this scooter. Personally, I'm not fan of twist on a standing scooter just because we increase the risk of "whiskey throttling" a high powered scooter. Since we're standing, there are times where the scooter pulls so hard that we might accidentally over rotate the throttle too quickly. I think if we were seated like a motorcycle or a seated scooter we could lean forward and keep our throttle arm and wrist in a better position to maintain control regardless of how hard we accelerate. The only reason I bring this up is because I know a Nami Burn E2Max owner that totaled his scooter in the first 20 miles of ownership because he had a domino throttle installed and didn't realize how hard it is to maintain proper wrist position even when you're bracing for the hard acceleration in max settings!
I just ordered a Yume Y11Pro and I never scooted before and I'm a bit nervous. I used to skateboard and snowboard religiously so I should be fine. The scooter is only 5000watts more than my ebike!
thanks for watching the video and welcome to the channel! Congrats on the new scooter, I think you're gonna have a ton of fun on it. Just be sure to gear up since life altering injuries can occur at the speeds we go on these things. Also, take your time getting to know know the scooter. They tend to inspire confidence and next thing you know you're going much faster than you're used to. But other than those, enjoy the heck out of the scooter!
@@eyebahnrides I got it today! It took about 20 minutes to get comfortable and I'm already doing 30 mph bunny hops over potholes. I don't think the wheels are leaving the ground but still. Absolutely the the most fun I've ever had.
Hi bro. Non-kaabo related question but can you recommend to me a winter glove you wear or know about that is really effective. I use finger throttle and commute from queens to manhattan 10 mile to work. Last week has been so cold and my current winter gloves is a 👎. Thank you
Thanks for watching the video! I have 2 sets of winter gloves. For really cold days, I have a pair of heated gloves. These are the ones I'm currently using and have been using since last year. They're incredible and have kept my hands warm even in subzero temperatures. Wasoto Heated Gloves: amzn.to/3VlwHYP . I may try to get a pair of heated motorcycle gloves eventually, For days where it's cold between 35-55 degrees, I have a set of "transition gloves" that I've been using this past month. They're wind proof and have great lining so its pretty warm. I used them in my last video. Kemimoto Cold Riding Gloves: amzn.to/3QywwK6 I hope this helps!
thanks for watching the video and welcome to the channel Kevin! You're right. I know a few people that put the seat kit on it and it makes the wolves alot more comfortable. If you check out my buddy's channel @weldonator , he's got the seat mod on the GT pro. I believe he's got his bars lowered as well.
Come over toward spokane! Ill race you and your scooter will have to tell its mother a little never heard of foot scooter whipped its tail unit!! 😂😅 I love the fact you went into the cells ! It explains a lot . The Lg m50 is 500cycle cells and 7.5amp is a lot for it ! The LG m50lt is 1000cycle ,and at 14.5amp is 2× powerful. 2x the life ! . Its very disappointing the cheapness! Especially since the Samsung 50s cells have come waayyy down in price . Its up to 45amp 5Ah .
thanks for watching! hahaha I'm sure those custom builds will smoke any of these production scooters especially when you know what you're doing. I've seen some crazy builds here at the Electric Wednesdays and they're all much faster than those of us who ride pre built! If I can get the information on the battery cells, I'll try to share it. Not many companies share that info because its too "transparent" and folks can see the "margins" on the batteries. Especially because alot of the companies claim that its so expensive to build and manufacture quality packs so they use really cheap cells. But, it is what it is! lol
thanks for watching and welcome to the channel. I wish I had an answer for you but I haven't had an opportunity to test out the K6 here in NYC. That type of "scooter"/ minibike seems like a death sentence here in NYC since its so low to the ground so I'm not sure if I'd be willing to ride it around NYC like that lol
thanks for joining us for this first impression video of the GTR and welcome to the channel! Best is very difficult to answer because the question becomes "best at what?" Comfort? Low speed stability? High speed stability? Off road? road? Most comfortable & best off road+ bad roads: Burn E Best high speed stability but stiff: Blast Overall pretty good: GTR (I'm still not sure how I feel about the whole motorcycle front fork with the spring in the springs in the back. It felt really weird but thats probably just because I'm not used to how the wolves are set up. ) Hope this helps!
thanks for joining us on the first impressions of the GTR! I don't see why it wouldnt be able to with that kind of power and traction control. The only reason I could think of why it wouldn't make it up that grade is the smaller wheels, with the insane amount of torque, along with the heavier weight of the scooter would cause it to just spin out even with the traction control.
@@eyebahnrides Didn't consider that, wonder if the four wheel versions would do better. Thank you for the info and food for thought. I already have and Emmo Zone GTS and Sur Ron, and thinking of a fat wheel Harley style e-bike or something like this to add to my collection.
thanks for watching the video and welcome to the channel Hal. Congrats on the X3! The gloves are my motorcycle gloves and I got them from Revzilla. They're Rev'it Dune Gloves. It's a gauntlet style that I generally use for Spring and Fall.
Even at 2 years of riding experience (Apollo City Pro) I would find this beast difficult to control in a metro commute particularly at that height. Looks scary particularly in tight spaces on dedicated cycleways / paths as passing other bikes and walking pedestrians. I am only looking at the GTR purely for off road / rural thrills and NOT for an urban Commute. Anyone seriously thinking about buying this should know it's not built for City Commuting just like a pro mountain trail bike isn't built for City riding either. 22:15.... Yeah you almost 'floated' over the top of that car that pulled out in front of you, any closer and that deck height would of come in handy as you floated over it's roof!
thanks for watching the review and welcome to the channel David! You're absolutely right. Even with years of experience and miles under our belts, these types of scooters are no joke and a bit out of place for us urban commuters. Just like you mentioned, these would be incredible for light off roading because of the deck height but may not be as good as a Burn E/ E2/ and or E2 Max because of how stiff the suspension feels compared to those scooters. Interestingly enough, I've been thinking about adding one of those "eMTB trail bike converted into an urban commuter" type of bikes from Specialized lol. I figured that suspension would be epic against the potholes of NYC but then I thought of the cost of maintaining finely tuned bikes like those and gave up hahaha! Yeaaaaaaaa.... you could float over a whole highway with that deck height!
thanks for watching and welcome to the channel! My ideal Wolf would be the GT Pro dimensions with the GTRs power and larger wheels. That would be pretty dope but I don't think it's a big enough reason to upgrade from the GTP. Great choice getting it in the first place and even better choice sticking to it my good sir!
pretty impressive on top speed runs. however, have you run a phone gps speedo to confirm scooter speedo? 62mph indicated is probably 60-ish on a gps. still nutty fast for a scooter, but still. accuracy matters as well.
Thanks for watching the video and welcome to the channel! I tried running a GPS app but that location where I'm doing the runs is a dead zone for cell coverage and the GPS readings were giving me all kinds of wonky numbers. I'd rather keep it off and rely on the dashboard vs numbers that didn't look right. For example, my gps app said that I hit 70mph on that 64 mph run. On the previous run, i got 52 on the 55mph. In the future, I may get a Dragy to record the speed accurately. For now, I'm focusing on a new computer for editing lol.
If I only want to go 40MPH at the most, would you recommend I get a Burn E 2 instead of the wolf king GTR? I mostly care about ride comfort and safety.
Thanks for watching the video and welcome to the channel Ryan. Both options are incredible beast scooters. If you want to go 40mph at most, the Burn E2 is a better option. The ride is much more plush, comfortable, the range is similar, and will be much easier to control. The reasons to choose the GTR is if you need the insane power because of the roads you commute on are high speed open roads or you want to future proof the performance. The other reason is you prefer to own the WKGTR. I hope this helps!
@@xnostalgiax I would have to agree with them. The stability at during those speed runs were insane. Though I did get a little bit of wobble around 60+mph. I think it has to do with the suspension tuning (the front dual fork moves at a different rate from the rear which was a bit weird and I forgot to mention it in this video). Though I must say, the Nami Blast Max is almost as stable with that inverted front fork design. Neither of those scooters will need a steering damper. The Burn E only experiences wobbling over 50mph so you'll never experience it on the E2 if you have great riding posture. Like I was telling someone else in one of the other comments, I know the Namis are no longer the fastest or quickest scooters out there. But I still firmly believe they have the best package of performance, comfort, maneuverability, and reliability.
Idk what to get Nami Klima or GTR, I am mainly looking for great acceleration. How much more torque does the GTR have compared to Klima (not a big diff right?) also which one is more fun to ride do you think?
Thanks for watching Evangelos! The GTR is much faster and accelerates a bit harder than the Klima but that's because the GTR peaks at almost triple the power of the Klima. With that said, the GTR is not 3x quicker than the Klima. I believe the Klima is a second slower to 30mph. Both scooters are amazing to ride and are plenty quick and will satisfy that need for acceleration. In my opinion, the Klima is one of the best scooters I've ridden and I really enjoyed my time with it. It's quick, nimble, and compact so it makes navigating the city so much more fun. With a top speed around 40mph, its plenty for me. I've always said that even though I love my Burn E and beast scooters like it (GTR), its a bit of overkill for my personal use case. However, if you live on roads that require that top end speed, it's hard to beat the GTR. I hope this helps!
Thanks for watching Anthony! I was actually in the middle of editing the video when you left the last comment lol. I just didn't want to leak the next release since I wasn't sure if I was going to make the deadline or if I had enough footage for a video. I hope you enjoyed it!
thanks for watching the review and welcome to the channel Freddy! I'm glad you enjoyed it because this was my first review outside of the Nami line up and I had a blast recording it. I hope I have the opportunity to get hands on with more escooters/ ebikes/ eskateboards in the future!
thanks for watching! I believe there is an adapter that you can buy that goes above the rear fender. I've seen people put large carrying cases, delivery bags, and plastic trunks on that bracket. I'm not even sure where they get those but I have seen them on scooters
Thanks for watching this video as well. Riding these types of high powered PEV's will generally do that to us lol. I can't imagine what it'd be like to run through rush hour with this beast!
@@eyebahnrides lol I own the roadrunner d4.40 and it’s fast but I’m honestly scared to go too fast lol. I’m more of a cruising kind of dude. This beast you rode omg.
thanks for watching this review and welcome to the channel Inkboy. The base power of the motor is what what their rated at when operating under normal conditions. Peak power takes into account the what the system, battery, and controller can squeeze out of the motors during high performance scenarios. Im sure someone will correct me if this is wrong, but I think of it like overclocking a GPU Hope this helps!
thanks for watching the video. I'm sorry, that's info that I don't have. I'm sure that's a question that can be answered by the forums, the distributors, and or Kaabo themselves. This was just a first impressions video of it.
great video :) personally 3 things I don't like about it(and that some should consider) -deck height, especially with the throttle lag you're gonna have to give yourself a push so that you don't fall on your side -handlebar height, I come from a scooter that had a higher(and more comfortable) so to me this feels really awkward and unsafe even after 70km of riding, and there is no reason kaabo should charge an extra $100 to rise it by 2 tiny inches... -acceleration, to me this feels way too fast and not smooth(but this might be due to me having the thumb throttle that has a huge deadzone, the place I got it from confirmed me that there are indeed 2 variations so upgrading would be an extra $50..) I think there is an option to make the scooter accelerate slower in the settings, I haven't checked yet, it's very hard to get used to especially when riding around traffic :/
and some issues I've had early on -all of the lights died somehow, I ordered a pack of 2amps fuses and hopefully this fixes it -the battery locking mechanism was broken, but doesn't matter that much to me -I feel like the alarm is way too sensitive, I can't even type the passcode without it going off(which is embarrassing in public) it would not cost anything to include a remote for unlocking it -bent disc brake really a bummer for such an expensive scooter, kaabo needs better qc if they're gonna sell at this price
Thanks for sharing all this! Everyone in the comments section that's looking into buying this scooter will appreciate any information on the ownership experience of the scooter!
Thanks for watching the video and welcome to the channel! The deck is definitely really high. I wish there was a way to adjust it. The day after I recorded this video, my legs were quite sore from mounting and dismounting the scooter lol. It'll be a great scooter if you live in a place where you can just keep riding with out dismounting. City riding will be a bit tough with this one.
Thanks for watching and welcome to the channel Nick! I try to be as honest and as fair as possible when I do these first impressions. There's plenty of videos out there where its all speed, hype, and sales jargon so I try to approach it from the perspective of a commuter and city rider. I get alot of heat for it but I stand by my statement that these high powered machines are fun but generally overkill for most of our use cases lol. You're absolutely right, its great for off road and pot holes but a bit high for us normal folks. The scooter would also really shine for the riders that don't have to mount and dismount often because they live outside the city Thanks for chiming in!
thanks for watching the video and welcome to the channel! I tried it again a few weeks later and I still felt like it was a bit weird. If I were in the market for a wolf I would definitely do the WKGTP. I'm going to see if I can request to make a video with that scooter!
On my Nami Klima Max (and on my old Burn E), I actually turn down the initial acceleration and power of the front motor in certain modes. It makes it much more tame and easy to handle when I want to chill on a commute!
Sine wave controller is the only option to consider such as with this scooter. Couple of companies out there hanging on to the old square wave controller as they are afraid to move to the future. I bought a high end scooter with a square wave controller not knowing how terrible they are. Wasted $4000 of my hard earned money. Really annoyed as i now do not have enough money to buy anything else. Anyone considering buying an e-scooter , only buy one with a sine wave controller. I have been trying to sell my scooter for over a year. Those who have tried it all say the same thing. They cannot stand how it jerks to a start.
Thanks for watching Jim and welcome back to the comments section! I 100% agree with you. With all resources available to the companies, there should be no reason to have square wave controllers on high performance scooters anymore. It’s uncomfortable, it’s hard to control, and dangerous. Have you started looking into the next scooter yet?
@@eyebahnrides Wolf King GT Pro. This GTR would be most sought after for me but the price likely never. If i knew then what i know now i would have waited for this Wolf King GTR for sure . Other scooter i bought and now own was all the extra budget i had and still for quite a long time to come. Sorta outta that important stuff (money)
thanks for watching and welcome to the channel, I'm glad that you enjoyed the video. Apologies for the delayed response. Work and personal life has been really hectic lately but I'm finally able to catch up with TH-cam now. I appreciate the feedback and that's already being taken into consideration. It may not seem like it but there was quite a bit of time in between those runs in order to make sure that the bridge was as clear as possible. However, clear and NYC don't really belong in the same sentence lol. I totally get people's reaction to these early videos so that's one of the reasons that we haven't done one for a while now. I've been looking for a place where it's possible to test a PEV during the day but it's been tougher than expected. I may have a place now and I'll be putting it to the test in the video I'm filming tomorrow. I hope it's as clear as I think.
The handlebar height is rubbish. I bought a riser within the first week and now it's the same height as the GT. It's definitely a beast of a scooter and took a little while to get used to the height, but once you do, leaning into corners is a breeze.
Thanks for watching the video and welcome to the channel! The handlebar height is terrible even as a person of average height. They managed to monetize the ride height, next thing you know they're charging a subscription to unlock the full 13000watts of power =(. I could see that it could take a bit to get used to the height for maneuvering. I cut it out of the video but I got smacked in helmet a few times by low tree branches because I wasn't used to the height in that manner as well lol. So far how have you liked the scooter?
@@eyebahnrides I'm liking it. I turned the traction control off as I found it limits the initial power and it seems to limit how much is pushed through the hubs to prevent skidding. I'd say it's not so much traction control as TC would drop power as soon it feels the tires skid, it's more like a tame version of a limiter. Once I turned that off, I had full access to it's peak power. Mine is also thumb throttle instead of trigger. Moving from the GT to the GTR, I'm used to and prefer the thumb throttle over the trigger.
@@eyebahnrides eventually I may feel confident enough to try one of your scooters since the Chimera throttle is teaching me a whole new world of torque. Hahaha
Good begimmer scooter I would say is Segway P100s, once youre used to handling and especially turning to corners then upgrade to this wolfking gtr or inmotion RS. Beginners should never be on this type of scooter esp on the streets. I'm waiting for my inmotion RS since my segway gt2 already feels slow for me.
Thanks for watching the video and welcome to the channel! I agree with you. A couple of us at the FFR shop were just talking about people starting with a hyper scooter as their first scooter are the same ones that blame it when they experience any mechanic failure or injury due to misusing it or over estimating their abilities. The best thing to do is to gradually build up but what do we know lol. Congrats on the Inmotion RS, I hear great things about it!
This is a great scooter, but I cannot imagine using this in the city. I complain about the weight of the Phantom, and that is about 50 pounds lighter. This thing is too high for all the quick stops and starts you have to make on city streets. I never had to ride something that far off the ground. Also, anything over 30 m.p.h. is great but can be dangerous. Maybe it is good for parts of New Jersey where there ar ea lot of hills, but NYC is pretty flat in most places and the power this thing has is a bit too much. Grea videos that I enjoy, so thanks for the experience.
Thanks for watching, I'm glad you enjoyed the video! I 100% agree with you. Alot of these "beast high performance scooters" are incredible machines but a bit of overkill for city riders. My legs were actually sore the next day from the stop and go riding I had to do for this video. I even had to be mindful of mounting and dismounting equally on both sides to keep my leg strength even lol (like a gym work out). Also, I can see these massive beast scooters being really intimidating for the general public especially on congested bike lanes. Even though I'm going with the flow of traffic in the bike lanes over the bridge, I always get tons of dirty looks from pedestrians and cyclists. But thats also probably because we got all these reckless people ducking and weaving through the congestion at 40+mph.
Thanks for watching and welcome to the channel King Ken. I believe FFR is still doing tests on the scooter before they make it available for sale. I believe the one I'm riding is the demo model sent to them by Kaabo.
Thanks for watching and welcome to the channel. My description of the suspension wasn’t really a critique, it just an observation of the natural suspension setting for wolves. It’s just like the way I described the Blast/ Klima in the Nami line up are naturally stiffer and less comfy than the Burn W. The suspension rebound and preload can be adjusted to give you a more comfortable ride based on road conditions, but it doesn’t change the stiff nature of a scooter tuned for high speed stability and how high the platform is off the ground. If the suspension had height adjustment settings like the Inmotion RS, I would’ve likely dropped the WKGTRs deck height by a few inches. Like I said in the video, I totally get why they have it that high. It’s just not ideal for people like me that live in an area with a lot of stop and go traffic. The first impression was through the lens of a “urban commuter”. I would’ve likely had a different opinion if I lived on more suburban roads where it’s continuous flow of high speed traffic in between towns.
Thanks for watching this video as well! Personally, I love the Burn E/ E2 Max more than this. I get that the specs and performance is a better value for money, but the Burn E is a much more riding experience. My legs were a little sore the next day from riding the GTR because of the amount of dismounting I had to do at traffic lights or while waiting for the roads to clear for the speed runs. I understand this sounds biased as a Nami owner but its just my preference!
@@Steven-qm1xo agreed. though it may not be the fastest or the quickest anymore, I believe its still the most complete package as far as performance, comfort, and maneuverability!
😂😅😅 it was definitely really tall. Something that I can’t see my self getting used to. Now if I did a lot of off-roading and I needed the clearance, it would be worth it. Positive from the whole thing was, my legs were sore the next day as if I did a light leg workout 😅
Dude you did 60mph right past that girl with the white purse walking on the bike path at 11:13 At 60mph if he stepped out in front of you would have killed him from blunt force trauma. I would not recommend you film yourself doing stuff like that so close to other people bro.
yep, unfortunately that was my only place to do the tests at the time. Btw, she's in the walk path and the bike path I'm in is the width of 1.5 car lanes while the pedestrian path is about half a car lane, so she's plenty far away. There was actually alot of waiting in between any of the speed runs I've done on the bridge to minimize the contact with people. It's just difficult to find a straight away with no people in NYC. Anyways, I get that it's dangerous and that's one of the reasons I've been searching for a place to do these types of runs since I've started doing "review videos". That's why the most recent Nami Klima Speed Test Video was done on a shorter bridge in traffic. Hopefully, if I ever get to leave NYC, I'll have the opportunity to really test these machines away from people like everyone else. For now the new bridge location will have to do or I'll have to do all of them at 2am on one of the major Blvds (just note that since the city never sleeps, there will likely still be some time of traffic to navigate even at 2am)
@@eyebahnrides you have to do what you have to do. I’m just looking out for you bro. People are unpredictable. Kids are even more unpredictable if they are walking with their parents or friends… dogs are even worse than kids!!! If you hit someone at 60mph they could die instantly and you too for that matter. Just stay safe. Our industry is on the verge of getting slammed legally. Especially with NY banning all non UL rated batteries after that deadly ebike fire. People will go from disliking us…. To hating us in a split second if someone eventually gets killed or suffers an amputation or head injury because of us.
I'm sorry but going 60mph (highway speed) on a bike path with others on it is stupid and dangerous for those around you. If someone got this they might just die and you would be completely in the wrong. This is the kind of riding which kills people leading to more fines and tougher laws.
How irresponsible of you to do those 60mph speeds on a divided safety walkway. Just one mistake by you or scared / distracted pedestrian with headphones 🎧 and you and pedestrians are in pieces.
I have a blast max and i've also ridden this wolf king gtr and strangely I don't find it much faster than my blast max until 70 km/h. Obviously it's faster but not that much considering it's a 72v scooter.
Thanks for watching! As a person who spent time on the Blast Max, I would agree with you. I was telling a friend of mine who owns both that the Blast Max "felt" quicker off the line because the front wheel wasn't spinning out as much as the WKGTR. But we all know that the WKGTR's monstrous power can overcome even the bad start. I'd love to drag race the two scooters and see what the actual difference is between the two.
Apart from the low handlebars, this scooter is an absolute beast it probably rides better with a seat. It’s a scooter that even mopeds are intimidated by 🫡
I could see this being an amazing seated scooter. The only thing that really worries me is that deck height. That higher center of gravity was a bit sketchy on those turns and we do a lot do tight turns in NYC. The Wolf is definitely one of those intimidating scooters. When I was waiting in between runs for clear space, I would see the mopeds going out of their way to move into the other lane to avoid me. They don’t even do that when I’m on my Nami or S73.
@@khanrides facts. Especially with the size of that scooter. I’m curious if they’re eventually gonna weigh these things to see if it’s over the “legal weight limit”

Thanks for watching and welcome back! Hope that scooter is treating you well. The wolf King GTR is crazy fast and really stable. It's a great scooter for long range high speed riding even though the range isn't the best out there.
Thanks for watching the video Steven! It's definitely much quicker than the Burn E but it felt super sketchy when you start doing low speed maneuvering. I thought the Blast Max was like throwing a truck into a corner but this felt like a semi because its so heavy and tall. Now I get why people like the 72v Wolves!

FFR BK is by far tops in the scooter industry. So many great reviews of Chuck & crew. Kudos to them.
Thanks for watching the video and welcome to the channel! FFR and FFR BK have been amazing. They do an incredible job through the whole sales process and an even better job with after sales service. Highly recommend them!
That e scooter is insane
Thanks for watching and welcome to the channel! It really was an insane scooter. I couldn’t believe how fast it was 😮💨
Bro, I'm glad you got to try it out.
I have one interesting question .
Some of the gtr-s have a folding hook instert on then plate some of them don't , does anybody know why that is ?
Great coverage. It’s a crazy scooter. Might get the improved version next year
thanks for watching and welcome to the channel Andrew!
60mph is scary on a bike, imagine on a scooter.
Thanks for watching! It’s definitely terrifying. That’s why I stand by my statement that these types of high performance scooters are generally overkill for most people and situations. On a daily basis, I never come close to these speeds.
@@eyebahnridesdude haven’t seen you in a while dude
You have to keep in mind the top speed isn’t there for you to travel at that rate all the time, it’s good to have to get yourself out of the way and to torque you out of trouble. Also remember, it’s battery powered so more speed equals less range. It’s not made to ride full out all the time.

Nice review enjoyable video.. excellent 🎉
That would have been cool to have when I was in college in early 80s. Had to leave for class an hour early.
thanks for watching and welcome to the channel Ted!

I own a few other performance scooters and the GTR is definitely my new favorite
BTW you can run through your battery riding in S Mode full bast (non stop 60+mph runs, hard accelerations) for about 30 minutes till it just shuts off completely. Don't ask me how I know haha
@@SSpecialDelivery I'm glad they were able to fix that and that makes sense with you being ok with the deck height lol. Thanks for watching the video and welcome to the channel Drew! FFR BK has a demo unit of the GTR since they were thinking about carrying it. Very nice review man. What would you say is a scooter that is on par with this one's speed but also has plush suspension?
Sheesh I hate being poor! A scooter like this would be AMAZING lol Thanks for the review!
thanks for watching the first impression of the GTR and welcome to the channel!
This should be good 👍🏾
This was definitely a crazy one, hope you and your son are well!
Is that 55 second intro?
yup, as long as necessary
I may try to get a pair of heated motorcycle gloves eventually,
For days where it's cold between 35-55 degrees, I have a set of "transition gloves" that I've been using this past month. They're wind proof and have great lining so its pretty warm. I used them in my last video. Kemimoto Cold Riding Gloves: amzn.to/3QywwK6

Seems like a seat would be nice for that.. Lower bars and you can put both feet down at stops.
thanks for watching the video and welcome to the channel Kevin!
I love the fact you went into the cells !
But, it is what it is! lol
How's it compare to the K6 bull ?
thanks for watching and welcome to the channel. I wish I had an answer for you but I haven't had an opportunity to test out the K6 here in NYC. That type of "scooter"/ minibike seems like a death sentence here in NYC since its so low to the ground so I'm not sure if I'd be willing to ride it around NYC like that lol
hellloo, what specific gloves are you using in this video?
Thanks for watching and welcome to the channel! The gloves I'm wearing are my Spring/ Fall Rev'it Motorcycle gloves I bought from Revzilla
you say the suspension on the gtr is between burn-e and blast, which one is the best?
thanks for joining us for this first impression video of the GTR and welcome to the channel! Best is very difficult to answer because the question becomes "best at what?" Comfort? Low speed stability? High speed stability? Off road? road?
Most comfortable & best off road+ bad roads: Burn E
Best high speed stability but stiff: Blast
Overall pretty good: GTR (I'm still not sure how I feel about the whole motorcycle front fork with the spring in the springs in the back. It felt really weird but thats probably just because I'm not used to how the wolves are set up. )
Hope this helps!
@@eyebahnrides thank you very much💪
I live on an escarpment, I wonder how it would handle a 20% grade
thanks for joining us on the first impressions of the GTR!
I like the gloves I just ordered my x3. Who makes the gloves
thanks for watching the video and welcome to the channel Hal.
Thank you for this video, I’ll stick to the GT Pro.
thanks for watching and welcome to the channel!
@@eyebahnrides That helps a lot thanks. I've just heard people say the Kaabo dual stems are unbeatable for stability.

140 pounds thats nuts !!
Thanks for watching the video! Yeaaaa.... that's pretty insanely heavy for a stand up scooter! I'd hate to have to lift this guy up stairs lol
Does anybody know if they make an adapter to where I can carry my large lunch box to work.
thanks for watching! I believe there is an adapter that you can buy that goes above the rear fender. I've seen people put large carrying cases, delivery bags, and plastic trunks on that bracket. I'm not even sure where they get those but I have seen them on scooters
Nice

Still not sure what “peak” power is compared to the regular power of the motors
thanks for watching this review and welcome to the channel Inkboy. The base power of the motor is what what their rated at when operating under normal conditions. Peak power takes into account the what the system, battery, and controller can squeeze out of the motors during high performance scenarios. Im sure someone will correct me if this is wrong, but I think of it like overclocking a GPU
Hope this helps!
What size are the axle nuts?
thanks for watching the video. I'm sorry, that's info that I don't have. I'm sure that's a question that can be answered by the forums, the distributors, and or Kaabo themselves. This was just a first impressions video of it.
great video :)
personally 3 things I don't like about it(and that some should consider)
-deck height, especially with the throttle lag you're gonna have to give yourself a push so that you don't fall on your side
-handlebar height, I come from a scooter that had a higher(and more comfortable) so to me this feels really awkward and unsafe even after 70km of riding, and there is no reason kaabo should charge an extra $100 to rise it by 2 tiny inches...
-acceleration, to me this feels way too fast and not smooth(but this might be due to me having the thumb throttle that has a huge deadzone, the place I got it from confirmed me that there are indeed 2 variations so upgrading would be an extra $50..)
I think there is an option to make the scooter accelerate slower in the settings, I haven't checked yet, it's very hard to get used to especially when riding around traffic :/
and some issues I've had early on
-all of the lights died somehow, I ordered a pack of 2amps fuses and hopefully this fixes it
-the battery locking mechanism was broken, but doesn't matter that much to me
-I feel like the alarm is way too sensitive, I can't even type the passcode without it going off(which is embarrassing in public)
it would not cost anything to include a remote for unlocking it
-bent disc brake
really a bummer for such an expensive scooter, kaabo needs better qc if they're gonna sell at this price
Thanks for sharing all this! Everyone in the comments section that's looking into buying this scooter will appreciate any information on the ownership experience of the scooter!
On the GTR the trigger throttle is the best option, if you want to go slow for like bike paths, put it mode 2 or 3 single motor.
💯‼️💙
Thanks for watching David, glad you enjoyed it!
scary ass scooter
Thanks for watching Bob! It definitely straddles the line of terrifying and exciting lol.

Thanks for watching! 🙏🏼
The scooters deck seems really high
Thanks for watching the video and welcome to the channel! The deck is definitely really high. I wish there was a way to adjust it. The day after I recorded this video, my legs were quite sore from mounting and dismounting the scooter lol. It'll be a great scooter if you live in a place where you can just keep riding with out dismounting. City riding will be a bit tough with this one.
Honest review much appreciated that scooter is to fast to high , end of story it’s foroff roads or potholes
The scooter would also really shine for the riders that don't have to mount and dismount often because they live outside the city
Thanks for chiming in!
You were right on point the deck is too high and the handle bars are too low. The wkgt pro is way better
thanks for watching the video and welcome to the channel! I tried it again a few weeks later and I still felt like it was a bit weird. If I were in the market for a wolf I would definitely do the WKGTP. I'm going to see if I can request to make a video with that scooter!
I don't know why dual motor scooters don't have half of the wattage in the front motor because it is impossible to turn safely with dual motors on
On my Nami Klima Max (and on my old Burn E), I actually turn down the initial acceleration and power of the front motor in certain modes.
If i knew then what i know now i would have waited for this Wolf King GTR for sure . thanks for watching and confirming that! The area where I do the tests have terrible reception so GPS data never comes out right
Doing those speeds in the bike lanes is outrageous. Like literally the worst place ever to hit 60+ mph… but great video nonetheless.
thanks for watching and welcome to the channel, I'm glad that you enjoyed the video.
Ho... ly... cr@p! This is bonkers
yeaa man.... this scooter is a freaking monster both in performance and form factor lol
I don’t see any gtr on Fluidfreeride
Thanks for watching and welcome to the channel King Ken. I believe FFR is still doing tests on the scooter before they make it available for sale. I believe the one I'm riding is the demo model sent to them by Kaabo.
I thought the suspension was adjustable? If so, you could have dialed it in perfectly for you instead of criticizing it.
It is designed for off roading
definitely with that deck height. Though I have heard that it's almost unwieldy like a cybertruck in the actual "off roads"

Would you ride this over Nami ?🤨
Thanks for watching this video as well! Personally, I love the Burn E/ E2 Max more than this. I get that the specs and performance is a better value for money, but the Burn E is a much more riding experience. My legs were a little sore the next day from riding the GTR because of the amount of dismounting I had to do at traffic lights or while waiting for the roads to clear for the speed runs. I understand this sounds biased as a Nami owner but its just my preference!

Dude you did 60mph right past that girl with the white purse walking on the bike path at 11:13
At 60mph if he stepped out in front of you would have killed him from blunt force trauma.
I'm sorry but going 60mph (highway speed) on a bike path with others on it is stupid and dangerous for those around you. If someone got this they might just die and you would be completely in the wrong. This is the kind of riding which kills people leading to more fines and tougher laws.
Love your vids but dont be stupid
🙏🏼
How irresponsible of you to do those 60mph speeds on a divided safety walkway. Just one mistake by you or scared / distracted pedestrian with headphones 🎧 and you and pedestrians are in pieces.
🙏🏼
@@eyebahnrides will definitely catch the eye of some 👮🏾 for sure unfortunately
@@khanrides facts. Especially with the size of that scooter. I’m curious if they’re eventually gonna weigh these things to see if it’s over the “legal weight limit”
Hello MY BROTHER EYE VAN ITS NOTORIUS IRBY IN NEWARK NEW JERSEY WHATS NEW BRO YES I STEEL HAS MY WEPEDZ AND MY SINGLE MOTOR SCOOTER 😂 HOW HAS YOU BEN LET ME KNOW how FAST IT IS THIS IS THE FIRST BLACK KAABO BRO IM WATCHING NOW
Thanks for watching and welcome back! Hope that scooter is treating you well. The wolf King GTR is crazy fast and really stable. It's a great scooter for long range high speed riding even though the range isn't the best out there.
Howdy bro....that scooter gets to top speed quickly much quicker than the Nami..However im not convinced about the deck height...🛴☄
I guess you cant go past a Nami Burn-e for an all round scooter...🛴☄
Great video
thanks for watching glad you enjoyed it!
