Ghalib ka kya kahu kis muh se kahu. It is the heart of Gopi Chand sahab that he tries to explain "ghalib"....I feel like "ghalib is a universal truth "❤❤❤❤. I m surprised ghalib emergs in every universal law. Ghalib is just beautiful. I m a science students and It is mind-blowing how ghalib emergs in almost concept of cosmology astrology and physics not only that ghalib speaks about the essence of biology apart from philosophy theosophy theology etc etc whatever there is. Ghalib unifies this cosmic drama in a big picture. What science means when we say theory of everything.
But I love ghalib and I don't know why

Gopichand Narang sahab ke saamne kuch bayan karna Suraj ko chirag dikhane ki tarha hai. I think no one explain poetry, Ghalib like him and the knowledge he persist is just amazing.🙏
Narang sahab ko sun kar ek ruhaniyat ka ehsaas hota hai. This is what we can try to achieve if we are devoted to something creative. I feel blessed listening to him.

It is very strange people talking about Ghalib but in English. It just one goes to an Indian resturant and orders Chinese. Plese revisit this attitude.
Your being too hard. This is to create a renaissance in Ghalib and Urdu. The purpose is to communicate to as many as possible. A good number his verses in Urdu are quoted. It is now for individuals to go on the journey of discovery!

I know Lt Gen Shah sahab has many achievements in his name but he's totally unworthy of sitting amongst these giants. If I ever get to attend a conference alongside Narang sahab or abidi sahab I would refuse to sit alongside them and rather sit on floor to let others know how insignificant I am (or rather most of us) in compared to these people.

bhai saab tum khud ko zameeruddin saab se compare math karo, woh hindustani army ke Lt.General retired aur deputy chief of staff hain samjhe, us ohde tak pahunchne ke liye log sapne dekhte hain kadi mehnat aur mashaqqat karte hain tab bhi kuch abhi tak sirf 14-15 log hi honge samjhe. unka ta'alluq adab aur sukhan se bhi hai hum tum se zyaada . itne bade organization rekhta waale jab kisi ko chief guest banaate hain toh yoo'n hi nahi bula lete , aagaye bade tahzeeb sikhaane waale. maana ke narang sahab aur taqi abedi saab adabi duniya ke bade mashhoor hastiyaan hain magar jise chief guest banaaya hai woh bhi toh kisi se kam nahin. zara soch samajh kar bola karo agar jis baat ka pata na ho toh us par apna moo bandh rakhna hi behtar hota hai. FYI unse mera koyi rishta nahi hai aur main bhi ghalib ka ek madha hoon aur ek adna sa shayar bhi hoon isi naate main narang saab ka toh nahi magar dr.taqi abedi saab ka ek tarah se indirect shagird bhi hoon aur mila bhi hoon ek do baar unse. aayinda se khayaal rahe ke jis baat ka ilm na ho us baat par math bola karo, samajhdaar insaan ki yahi nishaani hai.

Prabhat Mishra The point is communication; if that is the best way one can communicate, then that is the way it should be. It should be a point of pride that in spite of liking to speak in English, we still love and encourage Urdu poetry. And BTW, the effing book is in English, so it is apt that English is spoken at its launch.
