Just wanted to say I appreciate the dog hot weather warning, good to see someone always trying to get the message out. Excited to try some of these mods soon too.
Yeah I wasn’t making videos when I installed it or else I probably would have made that content too! It’s relatively easy to take off and put on though, plus you can lock it to the crossbars and I don’t have a garage, so I just leave it up there.
I ordered WeatherTech floor mats for the front and rear floors. The rain Guards! A few things since my wife and i purchased a 2021 Toyota Rav4 are selves! And love it!
Nice set up bro. I just got a RAV4 Prime and it’s getting wrapped up in PPF and tinted. I love your roofrack. Nicely done. I havea panaramic moonroof so I’m considering how I’ll set up my roof rack without ruining the great view.
Prime? That's sick. That mileage range/fuel economy would certainly come in handy on road trips. Are you getting it wrapped in any alternate color or just PPF? I'd get my windows tinted but I live in SF and i'm paranoid that as soon as I tint them some dingus will just smash my window in. Yeah the pano roof is great until you want to use your roof for storage. I guess you have to think about what you're trying to store up there--it probably has a lower load capacity than the standard roof model. Maybe a hitch rack wouldn't be a bad idea to consider as well? I've been thinking about putting a hitch on my Rav for a while now just for the additional capacity--maybe move the bike racks? Or add a storage box/kitchen/spare tire carrier? My wishlist of pending modifications/accessories is: 1) full size spare tire 2) 2" lift 3) upgrade springs to decrease sag when loaded with gear/improve ride quality on rougher dirt roads 4)more internal organization 5) upgrade fog lights 6) sound deadening material install in the doors and ceiling
I enjoy your videos, some good suggestions. I've already done some of the mods like swapping out interior lights for LEDs, and the center console organizer. I know it's a matter of taste but man I hate the black out emblems lol. I know a lot of people like them, they look like cheap rubber to me vs. shiny metal. Just doesn't do it for me but to each his own. I have a RAV4 Prime so it's interesting to see some of the TRD differences. Oh, I have the window visors too, I think they're great and I can't believe how they've held up. They were totally worth every penny. Your type are interesting, I got the stick on ones but I like yours too.
Thanks for watching! I love the look of my TRD/Adventure body style but I love the tech of the Prime. If they only combined the two, and gave that hypothetical combination a 2-3inch lift and some proper suspension!
Not quite sure! I haven't done any DNA testing because I rather enjoy the mystery. When I adopted him they told me he was a terrier/chihuahua mix, and that would make sense. I also sometimes think he's a Markiesje, which is a breed of small hunting dog from the Netherlands. Do a quick google image search and you'll see what I mean :)
Most of the trail/dirt road exploring near the Bay that I’ve found involves a bit of a drive-it’s one of the reasons I went with the Rav over a 4Runner. I couldn’t justify the gas mileage when the amount of driving/gas consumption just to go get dirty is so high, and I’m not really rock-crawling anything, just exploring forest roads, mostly. There’s an OHV area just north of Lake Berryessa in Napa that’s small but fun to explore/camp overnight. Mendocino National Forest up near Clearlake is pretty and a relatively short drive, and I love Old Coast Road and the roads up in the mountains above Big Sur when they’re not closed due to fires/erosion. Just a couple that come to mind. Check out some of the other videos on the channel if you haven’t already-I have a couple other videos focused less on gear and more on places and adventures. Thanks for watching!
I mean, it's clearly a problem--although I don't know anyone personally who has had their cat lifted. If anything it seems like unbreakable glass would be the better upgrade for cars in the Bay Area.

The part about the roof rack was very interesting. All the roof rack videos I’ve seen have just been about installation

You should make more videos!!! great content.
Working on it!

That's great! Glad you're also loving your Rav4

If you live in San Francisco you should weigh in about catalytic converter shields.
