Fantastic - I was able to fix my 2009 CRV with this (and another video). So far so good. Couple of things to note from my project - The air filter housing base was a pain to slide out of the rubber holder on the far left corner. Seems like the trick is to pull it firmly straight up through it (and push it straight down through it during reinstall). I removed the battery too for better access. My crush washer (10mm) was stuck to the transmission housing and needed a couple of knocks from a flat head screwdriver to knock it loose. But other than that, it seemed to have worked so far. I drained the transmission fluid and replaced it with new fluid while I was at this. Drove around at different speeds and still no check engine light. Fingers crossed. Thank you for the video, very helpful.
Amigo seguí tus pasos y con la ayuda de mi amigo pudimos cambiarlo excelente video bien detallado y el video excelente la posición de la cámara buena gracias 🙏🏽 bendiciones a tu familia
Just replaced this switch in my wife's 2009 CRV today thanks to your video. I was suprised to find no washer on the old one. Napa didn't carry it, and I didn't want to drive to the Honda dealer an hour away, so I found a standard 10mm flat washer at Ace Hardware that was identical and worked perfectly. Thanks again for your excellent video.
4:42 07 CRV 145k miles Check engine light D blinking checked code ordered switch Amazon genuine Honda $57 lot of confusion all different ones listed one I got verified by Honda dealer in Questions about item got it no crush washer ordered from Amazon watched your video took my time took about an hour all fixed Thank You !
did everything you showed in your video (except punching the camera!), and Shazam! No more flashing green D light! Thanks! And its definetly driving better . But my orange Check Engine light is still on and the code reader still reads Error P0843....wtf?
Hello. Is there a fluid or any particular lubricant that is safe for wires or switch? My 2nd transmission fluid pressure switch is hard to detach from the connector.
Any advice for getting to the 3rd pressure switch? Can’t seem to get the bottom of the air box housing out without taking the base plate for the battery out, and I can’t get it kut
Best access is from above. The battery support plate is secured with 5 bolts (12 mm hex head), you just have to be patient and pretend you're working on a submarine (like I used to). This is a piece of cake compared to that, and you can do it! Access from below is possible but more of a pain because you have to jack up the vehicle front end and remove the splash shield.
Hi, would you be able to help me out with where the wire from the switch goes on a Honda accord 2000? (I found the wire broken but can't seem to find where it goes. Car is having trouble changing to second gear.

I'm not sure, you'll almost certainly need to get that battery base plate out though.

the hose that is conected to the blue connector have been cut, I'm wondering what shall I do?
Gotta splice a new connector on there.
“Always use a fresh crush washer” 😂
(Slides old washer onto new sensor)

Hi, I have the same code but I don't know the part number fot honda pilot 2016
Would this be same with 07 acura rdx, i have the same code and wonder if they have same setup.
I’m sure it would be very similar, I would double check the part number for the replacement sensor though
thank you sir
replaced this with an oem one but occasionally the light and code still comes back, any idea what it could be?
My only thought is that maybe the wire is damaged, or the connector isn't fully seated.
I this the same code as transmission pressure sensor????
Im having this same thing at 225k so its finally tine to change it out
pulled the bottom plastic shield off used and open end wrench 10 min and done
sorry i was replaced the 3rd clutch my bad
