    Do the cords need to have a special pice on the end for the battery connection? Or is there a way to inject power into any board we have so we don’t need a specific end on the cable?

    12:46 Mega Idea is a brand name of Qian Li and they make both of these cables. The cable on the left with the black sleeves next to the battery connectors, i.e. your "direct power" cable, is a cable that Qian Li says contains "Battery Decoder Board". Can you explain what this is? If it's just a straight / "direct power" cable without any sort of embedded chips or components? It looks to me like you're in fact killing the "Battery Decoder Board" when you do the "blinking". This board is presumably installed, not in the cable leads, but in the black box where the cable leads meet.
    The "second cable" (third in order of appearance) has white sleeves next to the battery connectors and protruding SMD components, and according to Qian Li, it features "Simulate Battery Data" and "Original Battery Level Connectors Base". I have no idea what that second feature is alluding to, but they go on to say: "Embedded motherboard connectors base" and "Leave no trace".
    So they have two types of cable. One has a "battery decoder board" (the one you use for short circuit detection). The other one has "embedded motherboard" and can "simulate battery data". I found this info on their official Chinese website, with bad English translations.
    They make an Android version of the "battery decoder board" or "direct power" cable as you call it, and I'm looking at buying it for short detection using a thermal camera, just like in your video. I will probably be using the Infiray T2S Plus instead of Seek Thermal Compact or Compact Pro camera. I have already returned my Seek Thermal Compact camera because it's useless and expensive garbage that doesn't work correctly with the most recent phones with USB-C connectors. I tested with Galaxy S22. Their app will only tell you to "Connect Your Camera", and that's all you will see. It fails to detect the camera, even though the app auto starts when you connect it. It can only detect it once, and then you have to reboot your phone to detect it again. You have to reboot each time you want to be sure you can use it. So like I said, it's useless and expensive garbage. I am not alone to have this problem, users of FLIR ONE and FLIR ONE PRO report similar issues, despite having the latest generation with USB-C port where the "USB OTG" mumbo jumbo is irrelevant nonsense. So I found and ordered the Infiray T2S Plus. I think it will be perfect match for the Qian Li power cable. But now that I see this cable contains a "battery decoder board", I'm having second thoughts about it. Can you explain what this is and why it's there?
    Qian Li explains it like this: "Solve problems of automatic restart" and "Splash screen, booting". They make it sound like all you need is only one cable. The cable on the left, the "direct power" cable, the cable that contains "battery decoder board"... with the black sleeves at the battery connectors... if you have that cable, that cable alone will "solve [the] problems of automatic restart[s]". So there is no need for the second cable on the right - the cable with the white sleeves at the battery connectors - to solve that problem. Qian Li has a different explanation for why you might need the second cable: "Solve the problems that unable to enter the system after restarting with [p]ower cable for Phone 8th generation and above".
    I think I will order the Android version of this cable regardless, and test it. I find the alternatives from brands like Mechanic to be too laborious and complicated, with one hundred different cable leads, and a half! When all I need is a simple power cable to connect to my DC power supply, and I only need it to work with Samsung, and could not care less about compatibility with the other brands. Thanks for this video! It was very informative. I actually found this cable before I found your video. So I was surprised to see that you use the same cable. I don't have it yet, but I can tell it's a high quality product.

    hi bro ISO u have a power supply digital but why you using analogue power supply can you explain that & that analogue power supply how many ampere??

    • @nilomyki
      @nilomyki 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes this is an interesting question - I'd like to know as well why the Analog PSU is your preferred choice over the digital one (or is it a place-and-time usage scenario)?

    • @iPhoneServiceMalaysia
      @iPhoneServiceMalaysia  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Explain that in text is difficult to understand the scenarios. I’ll try.
      Our eyes and brain is faster when seeing analog needle movement and controlling the voltage knob at a same time.
      When digital showing a value, your brain will delay little to turn the knob according the current reading. Especially when big spike
      Digital only useful in checking power ic without CPU, cpu ram respond vs i2c respond.
      I might open a power supply guide.
      We need at least 5A psu. Especially some ipad logic board are require 5A to make the short appearing in thermal cam.

    Can you also provide feedback on the QianLi iPower Max with this same test? Also, I didn't notice if you used your Macro Lens attachment for the Compact Pro. Oh, and lastly - just out of curiosity, do you prefer your current Microscope Stand setup over a Boom-Stand or Articulated Arm?

    • @iPhoneServiceMalaysia
      @iPhoneServiceMalaysia  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Fixed thermal camera is not convenice. I owned a Qian Li before and sold. I’ll post a story abt it.
      Yes, good eye. I got my camera in few years ago, that time they only sell modified lens which is my original lens replaced.
      I think Microscope stand should be depend on what kind of desk design. A double level desk like mine is can’t fit those.

    • @nilomyki
      @nilomyki 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@iPhoneServiceMalaysia Ok thanks for the speedy and informative reply - I look forward for your story about the QianLi Thermal Camera. The QianLi iPower Max I mentioned is the Power Supply Test Cable. I was wondering if you think it would work similar to your preferred power test cables. Also thanks for the feedback about the Microscope stand setup.....I currently have a wide-base stand for my Amscope SM745TP-B which I turned backwards and weighed down with my Tekpower TP3005T PSU - that configuration so-far is working fine for me. 👍
