Hi Dr. Julie, can you prescribe different color filters after having the consultation with you. Since I am not sure which ones could help me and I may have to use more than one to relieve my symptoms.
@@imaczech Hi there, I change my patients filters based on what they need during the course of their treatment. There are also a variety of over 20 filters that we use depending on the need.
@@visontherapy how are they different? Is it because they are the same colour in each lense or because they are a specific tone of red/ green/ purple etc?
@@wtfigo8339 there are dozens of filters each with a different and specific refractive index meant to send specific kind of impulse to the brain depending on what is being treated, individual and their circumstance . So even when filters appear to be the same color they may be completely different in the signaling and improper use could be quite disadvantageous and possibly dangerous.

Hello, I have two questions. Can stress and strain also be the cause of myopia in the first place? Because I’ve noticed that my vision is a lot worse when I’m stressed or have a bad mood. And do you think can a teenager with -0,5 diopters of myopia who has never started wearing glasses reverse it? I would be grateful for an answer from you.

Are the red and green syntonic filters used for esotropia the same as those found in the red and green glasses used for vision therapy?
No, syntonic filters are different than the red and green glasses in Vision Therapy.

Is there any place where all the colors and what they help are listed? I have the syntonics I’ve used throughout the year but no clue what each does.
