Great video!!! Not too lenghty at all. I think that it is important to tell that there is treatment options for it and that they are not a big deal. Thank you so much!

i have undergone lasik for myopia in 2010 when i was at the age , i had no history of strabismus or amblyopia . After a few weeks post lasik , my left eye started exhibiting symptoms that resemble amblyopia along with double vision .My issue worsend over the years, my eye motility has been affected and ophtalmologists here in Tunisia are simply baffled as to how such complications could occur . As long as i am awake i'm in pain . I wish doctors in the US could help and i'm fully willing to cooperate if they are willing to study this case cause as far as i know i'm the only one in the world .

Been doing VT for almost 2 years now to help my esotropia. My double vision has gotten better but its so hard. Sometimes it feels like every wakeing is spent fusing, I get so tired. I hate prism and doctors give me mixed answers about surgery I am at a loss.

@@rawstmv gotcha. Well, I can’t speak for them but do know we have a lot of people from New York who end up with us as remote patients; many of whom had tried something locally but didn’t get too far. This is because while the name may be the same not all vision therapy programs are the same.

Rusty you want to schedule a consultation with Dr Steinhauer. Good thing you have had your battery if neurological testing done as that will be helpful information she will need to see.
You can schedule your online appointment to speak with her about all of it at www.visionforlifeworks.com

I have double vision in each eye all of the time and have my head tilled for a null point which makes my neck and shoulder tight. I think it's because I have strabismis and I had surgery when I was 7 but at that time the doctor (120 miles from home) finally diagnosed the CORRECT eye. The entire time that I wore a patch from toddler to 7 years old ( I wore it more as a toddler ) the previous doctor had told my parents to patch the INCORRECT eye. At 41 years old I wonder now if that caused nerological issues with how my brain gathers information from my eyes.

I have double vision from a fall where I hit my eye.
Didn’t break the orbital bone or get a concussion.
It is getting a little bit better, it’s been 3 weeks, but I still can’t see when I look straight down.
I see 4 hands when I look at my 2 hands.
    What can I do?
I know time is needed but if there is something I can do such as exercises, I’d love your feedback on what I can do myself at home.

I started having double vision a week ago. I had cataract surgery two years ago, could it be from that, I also have dry eye, could that cause it. I went to family dr and vitals are good.

    • @visontherapy

Hi Nita, it is definitely worth checking out. Most regular vision docs dont know much about resolving that condition and much less so with MDs. What vitals are you referring to?

Some Drs are such jerks! My neuro said to me at 39 "oh 50% chance you'll see clearly again". Like no big deal as a mom to small kids. Like oh really would you say that to your wife since you are in the same busy season of life!? Just no kindness or care. I hope you have found help♡

Hi Julie, I have double vision caused by 6th nerve palsy. When I got it first, two months ago, my right eye would not move to the right but it has started to move now but not 100% of the way. My Neurologist tells me it will heal in time. Are there exercises that I can do to speed this up?

Double vision arises more generally when both eyes are not aligned. That is why you don't experience it with when only one eye is in use. We recommend you get professional help in correcting and aligning both eyes. We can and would love to help. So feel free to schedule a consultation whenever you are ready to get it corrected! Thanks for being here.

    Hi,
I'm glad I found you. I have horizontal double vision. No accident or trauma.
Went to eye doctor who recommended I test my Thyroid/ diabetes and see a Neurologist. Thyroid/ diabetes test was negative and the Neurologist said I have "convergence insufficiency" and "suboccipital neuralgia". Just what you mentioned.

Will your program resolve the issue? Cost??
Will see another Neurologist in Jan to get a 2nd opinion.
    Thanks!!
