I don't know any other community that lets its game developers abuse them as much as Bethesda does. I mean every update breaks something major and it takes them weeks (if ever) to fix again. The Pip-Boy lag being one of these issues. If it were the atomic shop that went down, trust me they'd fix it within the hour.

@smac2047 same here, there's no reason to go to another person's camp if they have no vendor, so many "best builds" are still just basic wooden cubes or floating camps. I feel like best builds will slowly just fade to existence like pvp did in fo76

Wasn't the buff to boost is max charged damage to be almost triple the damage before at the trade off of waker non charged shots. Or is the point of a charge up gun to NOT charge it for maximum potential?
They like to keep everyone using the same handful of weapons, none of which are pistols. I used to love using my alien blaster, the only viable pistol but that has been nerfed to near uselessness.
Me to , have to install fusion core then get in it. If it has one in it already from storing I have to remove it and reinstall it . Never had a freeze or issue since .
This update broke so many of the things they have spent years fixing. Bugs that I used to get years ago that were fixed are now coming back and its actually unbelievable that the chimps that work on this game still have jobs.

yea bethesda and QA seem to be mutually exclusive concepts. the thing i noticed was the no loot, and in power armour the map icons are not apprearing on the hud
Fortunately for me I've not run into any problems besides the power armor bug. I find I can just fast travel to fix it if it happens. So far I'm really enjoying the damage changes, it strikes a good balance as enemies don't just fall over right away anymore, actually makes you focus on finishing enemies instead of one tapping everything. And of course as you said, there's less of a rush to tag enemies, which was really needed. Seems like they know what they're doing as far as vision, but it does seem like they're going a bit too fast for these updates. They need to allow the dev team to slow down a bit. I know content droughts are rough, but I think for example this whole update would have had a much bigger impact with caravans in it. The changes are good, but I would have been happy enough waiting a couple weeks for it all to hit.
But what exactly is the point of getting another god role weapon, if you have played for awhile chances are you have gotten a great, if not God role weapon already. Sure you can maybe get all the plans and modules needed after a ton of grinding to become a early god role merchant, but then what? Personally, I think it would have been better if they added new legendary craft into the old system for less grind, but the point seems to get more player grinding going on in what was a casual play Fallout.

In my quest for a full set of unyielding secret service, sentinel armor, I got a full set of unyielding +1 intelligence armor. I hate West Tek grinding. I also want to use covert scout armor, but don't want to go through another forever-grind. This is a far more deterministic grind. I've already learned sentinels. That's why there are lots of us who like the new system. I hate the old slot machine crafting system.
The fact that Bugthesda still breaks more than they add or fix in an update is sad and pathetic. Healing serum is broken, ap is messed up, the changes they made to flame weapons are absolute garbage and seem backwards. My Holy Fire does a LOT less initial damage, seems to only do 1 tick of tiny dot and then completely gives out. The scrapping is broken and doesn't actually give you the mod or recipe at times and there is no category showing up in the tinkers bench for it. Also, if we don't get bobbleheads and other items needed to craft from loot then why is it a required resource? PA hud is messed up as well as getting stuck. The Best Build concept is already being abused to hoard camp locations and lure players to camps. These camps don't deserve to be on a BEST of anything. Liking camps as a challenge is a HUGE problem and should not be in game. Most of the changes are broken, don't work as intended or just suck. The ratio has the scales massively tipped on the side of 💩with almost no good ones at all.
Sorry to say but I'm glad I'm not the only one having issues with the pa hud, my hud looks like I'm playing in split screen vertically. Only been playing "this fallout 76" since half way through season 16 and it's just got worse from there on.

Crouch & walk a few steps & then place your power armour & you won’t be soft locked, It’s a known bug sure but there’s been a known way to avoid getting soft locked for years now, Doesn’t excuse that the bug still returns around every few updates, Not sure why Juice head is talking about it like it’s new? Maybe he needs to hit a certain video length to run ads 🤷♂️
The new feature that has us dependent on scrapping legendary items and the legendary items disappear before you can grab it. Genius Then making us scrap anything with a star on it with only 1 - 1.5% chance on getting getting a mod. What a new way to grind and to retain players.
Feel like Bethesda QA has gone through the 🚽 or just non existent. Bethesda glory days are looking gone. Noway Skyrim 6 or fallout 5 will be nowhere as good as their predecessors
to me this is a real problem. I was thinking about changing one of my camps to enter into the best build but that camp is also my best location for selling things form my vending machine. I have sold more stuff from that location than the other two combined. it is the only camp that I think I might be able to change into some thing worth viewing.
i can confirm that bodies are disappearing. i did Eviction Notice twice today and didn't get ANY legendary drops other than the rewards for completing. the bodies that were still around weren't legendary, so either Bethesda lied to us about not nerfing the event, they despawned before i could get to them, or a mixture of both. this is very frustrating for those of us who want to scrap those legendaries to learn crafting plans or get modules from them.
The Legendary effects will stop applying until you remove the armor/under armor then putting it back on to have their effects initialize . This includes Jet Packs . 3* legendary SPECIAL mods only apply to weapons .
The AP bug happens when you equip thirst quencher in a server that has any lag at all. Like if a nuke was launched somewhere on the map for instance. It stops your AP regen until you take the perk off.
The worst thing about enemies despawning taking all their loot with them is the loss of ammo especially during those events with a large number of enemies.
I've said this before, and I'll say it again: Fallout 76 needs a massive update solely devoted to fixing the content that's already there as opposed to releasing more content (that brings its own new bugs). I've been playing it recently and I'm still experiencing bugs that have been in the game for years now, for example the reload speed bug, needing to switch weapons out just so you have the reloading speed that your character is supposed to have. That bug has been present in the games since freaking Fallout New Vegas!
The best builds concept is flawed with the system being dependent on the ruse of honesty. Sadly, it's a video game, and a lot of players are dependent on cheese. You get a bunch of your friends or a popular youtuber saying "vote for me", and now you are reaping the rewards with even more traffic going to your camp. This also means your vendor will be seeing more traffic and that means more money for you. More money, allows you to buy those mods or gear to melt to learn those mods, allowing your character to be even stronger and allowing you to sell those mods to continue the cycle. Basically, they are rewarding the popular with more resources to keep them in the upper tier. It's a system that can be abused and a system that paints a target on your camp for being nuked.
They added daily and weekly challenges to like camps. It's not friends skewing the results. It's people like me who will hit like on the first four anything that appear. If they didn't make it a challenge then only the people who care about interior decorating would show up to vote. Those votes would be more accurate.
I saw a suggestion from someone on reddit to stand as close as possible to the power armor being entering it to minimize the chance of it bugging out. So far since I've been doing that I haven't had it happen again. Purely anecdotal experience but might be worth a try for those of you having the issue.
What’s still an issue is that Bethesda has done nothing to fix the hooded rags and instead swept the problem under the rug by re naming it wasteland rags
Another issue is that some players best build camps are not showing up at all. I have friends who have the same problem with the submitted best build camps not showing up.
I really hope they increase drop and learn rates for legendaries. I've had obscenely bad luck and have only gotten a single legendary effect from scrapping since yesterday
Legendary scrapping is broken. It can fail to actually give you the mod box. Apparently it was also broken in the public test server. I have lost 5 mod boxes so far! Crazy stuff
I still have the bug where certain items will just move around when looting, there was like 1 month of total playtime where this was not happening super annoying. Oh, and a new bug where items for 4 or greater won't be picked as the whole stack anymore.
I feel like the despawning of loot prompts players who just sit on a perch with a fixer or god forbid a creamator and do nothing but kill stuff with vats and not push forward events to actually contribute in some way. Maybe do a couple side objectives to the benefit of everyone instead of mind numbing themselves with vats.
I think the AP Regen was because of lag. I was playing an event with more than 20 players when I had that problem and I lost connection. I haven't had the problem since, so maybe they fixed it.
I've been waiting for Bethesda to include a legendary crafting system like this since year one of its release. Such a shame they finally start doing QOL improvements I would've liked to see when I have multiple responsibilities and very little time for myself now.
Best build vendors... remember most likely this is version where owner is not even on server - so imagine everyone buying from them and they have no way to turn off or remove vendors and having stuff bought whilst at max caps. Think of it as a clone - its NOT about the vendors - they are just for show - just visit the camp for aesthetics...
Yeah they nerfed my non legacy, non-hacked weapon to the point it's useless, it's a Ballistic Heavy Gun with bloodied, explosive, swift prefixes on them t'was a God win from Murmrgh in the rusty pick last season, so I called the weapon 'I AM DEATH' as it used to kill a non-legendary lvl100 scorch beast in 20 seconds or less. Tried it today and yeah took near 2 minutes to kill one not to mention bloodied build now dies to 1 screech from a non-legendary scorch beast, I am more than pissed I sent them my discussed at them always making this game worse every time they introduce something new.
@@awkwardGardener I had a friend rage quit 76 after getting a ghoul slayers gama gun. Returning ownly to build a camp museum to the bad roles he got from events. 😂 He officially quit a week later and never returned, now he’s wondering the lonesome highways of new Vegas.
Has anyone else noticed that at times you do not get the legendary scrip back when you scrap a legendary weapon? In my case I received Mechanic's best friend from a Daily op and when I scraped it said I was to receive 4 legendary scrip but my total stayed the same. As for the best build camp, while mine was a normal build as it only took about an hour or so to build, I took mine off best build as I had not known it would stay after I logged off.
I thought the glitched 3 stats was a feature to be scrapped. Like the chanche of a reload speed mod from a switchblade. My main reason thinking itvwas normal was because it was so common and didn't find people talking about it atm.
When I get in my power armor, everything to the right of my fusion core tab is glitched where I can’t see cores, ammo, and my markers on the compass don’t show up. I run expeditions in my power armor so this is highly annoying
While this update is pretty buggy I haven’t heard anyone complain about the main part of the update being postponed since we have a lot to do now with the new legendary system. I was unyielding so bad.
I don't understand how a major developer like Bethesda can keep screwing up their updates. First they ruin the next-gen update for Fallout 4 and now this. How do these updates get through QA?
Yeah I started playing it again the past 2 weeks, but just to find out it’s more broken. The one that doesn’t do much but irritate me is the power armor ui on the right disappearing, so I can’t see my ammo count and my ap.
Ya No! The real bug is that no one is selling weapons at their camps anymore. Which means a 90% chance you won't be selling anything because no one is visiting your camp.
Y'know what the game needs more than anything? A more modernized and stable engine. Sure, it might necessitate a complete remake of the entire game from scratch, and it'd be super expensive and time consuming, but I'd be willing to wait, and it would be absolutely worth it. Provided Bethesda doesn't mess it up. Which would be what happens. But they aren't going to bother with it anyway. At least not with Todd Howard running things.
I've had the bug with power armor in that when I enter it or try to engage with it through a power armor station, my game will freeze and the only solution is to exit to lobby or the game entirely. I've had the game for quite some time and have had this power armor bug for the entirety of it (well over several years), which sucks because I can't reliably run a power armor build ever.
Bethesda is such a massive joke. While I love their older products, I’m beyond exhausted attempting to keep playing their products as they refuse to quality control any of the releases or updates at this point. They can’t even manage to follow mods’ programming and fix over a decade-old properties. Pitiful.
I got vampires plan in less than 100 scraps, so.... I bet within a month, everyone has what they want. Just run MSG Expedition for 6 legendaries in 12 minutes and scrap away after 3-4 runs. Youll get something id bet
My game froze the second i tried logging in after installing the update. That was a clear nope for me... feels like this is one of the worst updates they ever did
I did a daily when I was last on, take a picture of a best build. Anyway I got a onscreen message saying that I was near a best build, I thought good I can complete my daily. Anywhere I started to make my way towards this best build, I looked and looked and thought where is this camp? I eventually found it, it consisted of a camp work platform and two empty display cases? I’m not sure if this was a bug or intentional, I think it was intentional as the two cases were just stood on the ground. I did laugh.
There's no way possible fallout 76 is bugged. Bugthesda I mean Bethesda it top tier in gaming. We're the goat of gaming here. Maker's of obsidian I mean fallout New Vegas fallout 3 etc etc.

8:13 months? Nah it took me a week to get bloodied and lightweight. All thanks to eviction notice and a extremely lucky roll where I got a box mod and a crafting mod from head hunter scythe

Best builds shouldn't take precedent over actual player camps... Instead, they should appear and disappear as player camps are placed or removed...

The Gauss shotgun was already in need of a buff before this update. No idea why it got nerfed even more.

Have you had the issue with PA where the hud looks like you're playing in vertical split screen? That's what I've got since update.

On the legendary crafting, I scrapped over 1k legendary items between 5 characters and only learned 1 mod

I hope they compensate us with 1 Rad Away for the broken update when they fix it.

The best builds concept is flawed with the system being dependent on the ruse of honesty. Sadly, it's a video game, and a lot of players are dependent on cheese. You get a bunch of your friends or a popular youtuber saying "vote for me", and now you are reaping the rewards with even more traffic going to your camp. This also means your vendor will be seeing more traffic and that means more money for you. More money, allows you to buy those mods or gear to melt to learn those mods, allowing your character to be even stronger and allowing you to sell those mods to continue the cycle. Basically, they are rewarding the popular with more resources to keep them in the upper tier. It's a system that can be abused and a system that paints a target on your camp for being nuked.
They added daily and weekly challenges to like camps. It's not friends skewing the results. It's people like me who will hit like on the first four anything that appear. If they didn't make it a challenge then only the people who care about interior decorating would show up to vote. Those votes would be more accurate.

That power armor bug has been around for at least a year because it happened to me a long time ago.

I saw a suggestion from someone on reddit to stand as close as possible to the power armor being entering it to minimize the chance of it bugging out. So far since I've been doing that I haven't had it happen again. Purely anecdotal experience but might be worth a try for those of you having the issue.

Don't scrap your god rolls guys, the chance to even get one legendary mod box is ridiculously low and needs a buff asap!
And new mod rolled weapons aren't tradable. Glad I never scraped any of mine
Another issue is that some players best build camps are not showing up at all. I have friends who have the same problem with the submitted best build camps not showing up.
I really hope they increase drop and learn rates for legendaries. I've had obscenely bad luck and have only gotten a single legendary effect from scrapping since yesterday

Legendary scrapping is broken. It can fail to actually give you the mod box. Apparently it was also broken in the public test server. I have lost 5 mod boxes so far! Crazy stuff
I still have the bug where certain items will just move around when looting, there was like 1 month of total playtime where this was not happening super annoying. Oh, and a new bug where items for 4 or greater won't be picked as the whole stack anymore.
I feel like the despawning of loot prompts players who just sit on a perch with a fixer or god forbid a creamator and do nothing but kill stuff with vats and not push forward events to actually contribute in some way. Maybe do a couple side objectives to the benefit of everyone instead of mind numbing themselves with vats.
Well that explains why I can't purchase anything at the best build locations then because they're now actually there.
I think the AP Regen was because of lag. I was playing an event with more than 20 players when I had that problem and I lost connection. I haven't had the problem since, so maybe they fixed it.
I have that exact same issue once in a blue moon, had it happen yesterday for the first time in a month or so. I'm on PC.
It’s not fixed. It’s been happening to me often on XBox. I have to remove my chestpiece with JP on it and put it on again to fix it.

I noticed that the radar on power armor is broken so when you’re in your power armor, you don’t see any markers on the compass
I've been waiting for Bethesda to include a legendary crafting system like this since year one of its release. Such a shame they finally start doing QOL improvements I would've liked to see when I have multiple responsibilities and very little time for myself now.
Don't forget 3 star strength is for weapon and 2 star strength is for gear. Dont waste your modules or caps.
They made deathclaws kinda scary again with this update they hit really hard now.

Best build vendors... remember most likely this is version where owner is not even on server - so imagine everyone buying from them and they have no way to turn off or remove vendors and having stuff bought whilst at max caps. Think of it as a clone - its NOT about the vendors - they are just for show - just visit the camp for aesthetics...
Yeah they nerfed my non legacy, non-hacked weapon to the point it's useless, it's a Ballistic Heavy Gun with bloodied, explosive, swift prefixes on them t'was a God win from Murmrgh in the rusty pick last season, so I called the weapon 'I AM DEATH' as it used to kill a non-legendary lvl100 scorch beast in 20 seconds or less. Tried it today and yeah took near 2 minutes to kill one not to mention bloodied build now dies to 1 screech from a non-legendary scorch beast, I am more than pissed I sent them my discussed at them always making this game worse every time they introduce something new.

@@awkwardGardener I had a friend rage quit 76 after getting a ghoul slayers gama gun. Returning ownly to build a camp museum to the bad roles he got from events. 😂 He officially quit a week later and never returned, now he’s wondering the lonesome highways of new Vegas.
Has anyone else noticed that at times you do not get the legendary scrip back when you scrap a legendary weapon? In my case I received Mechanic's best friend from a Daily op and when I scraped it said I was to receive 4 legendary scrip but my total stayed the same. As for the best build camp, while mine was a normal build as it only took about an hour or so to build, I took mine off best build as I had not known it would stay after I logged off.
I thought the glitched 3 stats was a feature to be scrapped.
Like the chanche of a reload speed mod from a switchblade.
My main reason thinking itvwas normal was because it was so common and didn't find people talking about it atm.
People are definitely gonna sell legendary mods for thousands of caps but im sure the price will go down over time
When I get in my power armor, everything to the right of my fusion core tab is glitched where I can’t see cores, ammo, and my markers on the compass don’t show up. I run expeditions in my power armor so this is highly annoying
While this update is pretty buggy I haven’t heard anyone complain about the main part of the update being postponed since we have a lot to do now with the new legendary system.

There were too many players activating caravan at once in the PTS which it had caused crashes.
Which it explains why it is postponed.
High rad fluids didn't spawn in any corpses in the Alpha rad zone.
At this point people deserve this, they clearly like slop and will take anything Bugthesda throw at them, no sympathy at all.
I don't understand how a major developer like Bethesda can keep screwing up their updates. First they ruin the next-gen update for Fallout 4 and now this. How do these updates get through QA?
Collect 10 energy ammo took me an hour because enemies weren’t dropping loot.
Yeah I started playing it again the past 2 weeks, but just to find out it’s more broken. The one that doesn’t do much but irritate me is the power armor ui on the right disappearing, so I can’t see my ammo count and my ap.
I’m glad I finally got to put the serum into the device.
Ya No! The real bug is that no one is selling weapons at their camps anymore. Which means a 90% chance you won't be selling anything because no one is visiting your camp.
Y'know what the game needs more than anything? A more modernized and stable engine. Sure, it might necessitate a complete remake of the entire game from scratch, and it'd be super expensive and time consuming, but I'd be willing to wait, and it would be absolutely worth it. Provided Bethesda doesn't mess it up. Which would be what happens.
But they aren't going to bother with it anyway. At least not with Todd Howard running things.

I run two accounts on two computers with the same OS. One download size was 18.9 GB other one was 28 GB.
1.5% is a 4.5% mod scrap chance in total. Meanwhile weapon mods scrap at 15% so I think the drop rate is too low right now.
Even if you add 3% for individual plan rolls that's 7.5% total or half your chance to scrap a silencer.
Still too low.
I've had the bug with power armor in that when I enter it or try to engage with it through a power armor station, my game will freeze and the only solution is to exit to lobby or the game entirely. I've had the game for quite some time and have had this power armor bug for the entirety of it (well over several years), which sucks because I can't reliably run a power armor build ever.

Bethesda is such a massive joke. While I love their older products, I’m beyond exhausted attempting to keep playing their products as they refuse to quality control any of the releases or updates at this point. They can’t even manage to follow mods’ programming and fix over a decade-old properties. Pitiful.

I got vampires plan in less than 100 scraps, so.... I bet within a month, everyone has what they want. Just run MSG Expedition for 6 legendaries in 12 minutes and scrap away after 3-4 runs. Youll get something id bet

I did a daily when I was last on, take a picture of a best build. Anyway I got a onscreen message saying that I was near a best build, I thought good I can complete my daily. Anywhere I started to make my way towards this best build, I looked and looked and thought where is this camp?
I eventually found it, it consisted of a camp work platform and two empty display cases? I’m not sure if this was a bug or intentional, I think it was intentional as the two cases were just stood on the ground. I did laugh.

4:07 I started noticing very slow ap regeneration even with a maxed out action boy perk before the update
I mean, how hard would it have been to IMMEDIATELY implement a hotfix that just forced an auto loot for weapons & armor. In other news the guass shotgun was getting a buff...which cut mine's Dmg in HALF......
I wonder if they mixed the builds again like they did way back where they where working on a new patch and had some previous patches from several patches back mixed in. Like when they patched bobbypins and then unpatched bobbypins due to using part of an old patch 2 patches back.

Day 1, I got lucky and could modify sets of armor I had ready... now have full SS UNY/AP/WWR and Hellcat OE/AP/WWR sets. Living the dream.
8:13 months? Nah it took me a week to get bloodied and lightweight. All thanks to eviction notice and a extremely lucky roll where I got a box mod and a crafting mod from head hunter scythe
