It’s so wild that the owners/makers of the Creation Engine are the absolute worst at using and fixing the Creation Engine. Like you could set a dog at a computer and sprinkle some cheese on the keyboard and it would churn out better, cleaner code while it vacuumed up the cheese.
Almost 10 years FO4 is still full of bugs. We should all be thankful Bugthesda is a game maker instead of producing car engine, surgical equipment, or household appliances.
Skyrim shield slow time skill was never fixed either. You become stuck in slowmo forever and they never fixed it despite it being integral to shield play. What a joke
Actually bethesda just makes game engine (and one of the worst of course) since all the real life of their games is in the mod community. No one cares about the history wich is lineal, forces end path and can just not be there and one notice, real thing is how the mechanics works and how the mods enhance that experience (even the bugfixes and history fixes).
@Homiloko2 Uh no what you said is comoeltly wrong many arenover reacting it is fine on Xbox PC just uses script extender that lag he said about console is load lag.
@@redemptionjack4657 People like you keep saying that but Starfield literally sold a fraction of Fallout 4.. They haven't launched anything good in a decade.
As soon as I lost all my progress. More so, the painstaking process of getting all the mods I had downloaded correctly. I had a feeling Bethesda broke it on purpose. There was no reason to update the game
@@jodargoofmaztica5071 That was my thought as well. Even though it sounds crazy, that's how it looks, at least. I mean, the mod got covered in the news, that never happens.
Because you're not playing FO76, that's why. They haven't been in a hurry to release ES6 because of ESO. Follow the money. No, I don't know for a fact, but I can't think of another reason BGS break their game and don't bother to fix it. I suppose there's always incompetence or pure carelessness.
The game needed to be updated the playstation version was plagued by the 0kb error which is worse than any of the bugs you guys are complaining about since it would literally corrupt your save file and make it unplayable. Not defending Bethesda but they have no reason to accommodate or please a modding community that already hates them idk why you guys haven't figured it out by now it's been like this for well over a decade
@@joaquimb4052 this would be a logical business strategy from a bethesda perspective, and they seem to be lacking in the logic and competency department. whether they are that incompetent or that scummy for getting players on starfield i couldnt say
It feels like they're trying to actively antagonize their players at this stage. The people in charge have no idea what they're doing in any other business besides Disney you'd be fired.
It is all part of Todd's plan. Destroy any chance for we gamers to play Fallout London and make the game so unplayable that we're forced to play Fallout 76 and pine for Fallout 5. "16 Times the Detail...it just works..." - Immortal words of Todd Howard
Once again, thank you for leaning your weight into this issue. It blows my mind that Bethesda even deployed this update. It seems to me that basic testing protocols would have revealed that a huge problem was afoot, but they just rammed it through and ran away from the mess that followed. Simply wild, inexcusable behavior from a major game studio.
@@XSilver_WaterX They're owned by Microsoft so they're currently in the phase of vulture investment where they'll milk the company dry, pick all the profit from its carcass, and then announce they're closing the studio and moving personnel and probably cutting benefits.
I'm so sad things have gotten to this point. No single player game from one of their flagship titles since 2015. Breaking said game and doing nothing about it. Starfield being an outdated, boring mess. Allowing lazy monetization of mods. How am I supposed to have any faith that the Elder Scrolls 6 is going to be any good when this is the current state of Bethesda? We, as fans of these franchises, can't accept this. They can't keep making excuses.
Elder Scrolls 6 is destined to fail. Bugthesda is no longer for player enjoyment, they're in full support of putting in COD levels of greedy microtransactions. We can thank all the mouth breathers and content creators for buying the first batch of Creation Club microtransactions and ruining Skyrim, Fallout 4, and Starfield even further. I'm definitely not going to play Elder Scrolls 6 after the way Bugthesda has been handling these games. They can shove it.
@@jasonmcallen8954 If Starfield is a preview of what is to come, I 100% agree with you. That game is 95% recycled content with a new label - Almost every ability you unlock is a shout in Skyrim, and the perks are just bland FO perks.
This is certainly not what I'd expect from a AAA game studio that took 2 calendar months to patch AIMING DOWN SCOPES into the VR version after the game's release...oh wait it is.
Tbh it surprises me how there is no major pushback directed at Bethesda. Like, people are talking about it, but nothing is happening to force Bethesda to fix this issue
what can anyone or anything do to make bethesda do anything? if this much bad press wont force their hand what would? wdym theres no major pushback also like huh majority of the playerbase is pissed off rn
It's a lose lose situation for Bethesda if they fix the bugs with an update people will complain about the update breaking mods if they don't fix the bugs with the update people will complain about them ignoring the issue pick you poison and stick with it, front what I can tell they will fix the bugs and sacrifice the mods again because they are already aware that the modding community hates them so they have no incentive to accommodate or please them
Interesting how Bethesda did this right when new players started coming to fo4 because of the new TV series. Now new players bought a 9 year old game that has more issues now than ever before. Bethesda is already getting a bad a name for not caring about what their player base thinks. They need to fix this...soon.
I feel like Bethesda uploading paid mods for Starfield instead of updating the game little by little or at least at all speaks volumes of their corporate greed and incompetence, been very disappointed in them recently
Bethesda has been pure scum since the creation club was announced. They literally did the very same thing with Skyrim. Ruined the game to put out a "new version" that wad worse than the original version so they could peddle microtransactions. They don't give a fuq. They could care less they just want your money.
@@zachrohler1047 You don’t have to buy the paid mods…They added them to support Mod creators who before would spend all their time making mods and never be compensated for it. Is it not a good thing to give these mod creators a chance to get paid from their work?
Just the stuttering alone has made me not come back to this game. It is so unfortunate too because it is one of my favorite games to come back to. Paid mods is something that is ruining the gaming community.
Not really they update once every blue moon so there is no new deals or free things and it looks like nobody is making new content so is the same as dead
Bethesda just doesn't want to care about Fallout 4 anymore, that's my take away. They'd rather pour all their energy into 76 and Starfield paid mods. It's like they're forcing players to move on from their best selling game of all time, thinking it has run its course. That's just not true. Fallout 4 can be playable forever if they just take the time to help us fix what they broke.
"Fallout 4 can be playable forever..." There is no income from games that have indefinite playability from no new sales and yet still require bug fixes.
@@tkenben Brother, there was an influx of 150.000 players when the Fallout TV show came out 6 months ago, and that number is just from Steam.. probably more on consoles.. And all they did was release a broken patch that created more bugs than it fixed. The game was fine as it was.

Why is it still not an option to send companions back to their original place. I am not talking about just not choosing a settlement, i am talking about the original spot being an option that you can send your companions to even after you have sent them to a settlement before. Makes no sense for companions with their own responsibilities like Nick who has his own detective agency, to just be staying around in a settlement.
I'm pretty sure that all companions can appear where they are needed, no matter if you sent them to a settlement. I always recruit Nick and Piper, and they both appear in Diamond City for the questline after Fort Hagen, and both return to their assigned settlements afterwards. If you want them both to just stay in Diamond City, then don't recruit them, but this may break some quests, as you are supposed to recruit them and assign them to a settlement. I honestly don't know why you wouldn't want to recruit them, as Nick in particular has his own companion questline, and the perks they both give when you max out their affinity are pretty useful. There are only three companions that I generally don't recruit, Hancock and Strong, as their perks don't complement my playstyle, and the quests to recruit them are pretty annoying, in my opinion, and X6-88, who is even more boring than Danse. My favourite companions for travelling with are Nick, Deacon, and Cait, because they are fun to have around, and Piper, because she goes ham on every enemy in range, with that little 10mm pistol, that she somehow fires as fast as an auto-pistol, and who provides a useful distraction while I line up my sniper rifle for those sweet head shots. Piper will go down regularly, until you can equip her with a ballistic weave hat and a courser uniform, after which she only has trouble with really strong enemies.
You actually can. When the location screen comes up, select nothing and tab out of it. Because nothing was selected they will be sent to their base location.
Wisest decision of my life of not downloading the update on my console! Maybe I'm a minority here - things that are still broken/ or after the update on Playstation 4 (Yes, have a laugh at my expense): - Crafting recipes that include wild razorgrain can't be crafted, bc the plant can't be harvested - Renting the room in Bunker hill is a nuisance, takes 3-4 tries to actually get the room, while Tony Savoldi is cashing in several times - Companions seem to fall behind even further then before the New Gen Update, sometimes I wasn't even sure if I actually dismissed them - V.A.T.S. can be used with ranged weapons most of the time but melee weapons are hopelessly bugged, I was killed several times in the process - More game crashes then before the New Gen Update, which is neat, since I play survival (well, maybe that's thanks to the PS4?) - Mobs clip through the floor and disappear, no loot - Sometimes Legendary Enemies don't have legendary items on them I think there was more, but especially things like the harvesting of plants or the Bunker Hill thing are "typical" Bethesda, implementing something and not fixing it for years. I did an Elder Scrolls online quest back in 2022 and had to browse through forums to try and find a solution for the bugged quest - where I found entries describing the same problems, dating back to 2014.
@@shawngiver5570 I was in fact thinking about editing this just yesterday, Bc several other bugs occured, that I forgot about: - When targeting mobs (also melee V.A.T.S.) it looks like my guy is clipping through the floor and starts to float. Happened in Far Harbour alr a few weeks back, I was "beamed" from the Children of Atom Shrine to National Park visitor's center. -There are some locks that can't be lockpicked, although I've maxed out the lockpicking skill. -The random event with Art and his Synth double keeps spawning, about eight times in my current playthrough, and both are hostile towards me, every time.
The funny thing to me about the stutter is that it's almost the exact same style of stutter WARS caused on release, where it started off light but got WAY worse over time. But unlike Bethesda, Antistar actually listened to feedback and fixed the WARS stutter.
Game programmer here. I obviously don't have insider knowledge on the matter but I'm willing to bet that the stuttering is caused by bugthesda trying to "optimize" the game: in older days of game development you'd usually load up as much data like textures and meshes ahead of time (hence the long loading times) but as the size of these assets increased, high definition games now instead rarely load all of the assets at the same time, instead streaming them from disk (that paradigm is what's making Unreal 5's nanite meshes possible). The downside of that is that instead of the bottleneck being the raw amount of memory you can have, the bottleneck becomes the transfer speeds between your permanent storage and the GPU, which unlike for just the size of RAM and VRAM is much more difficult to predict. On my end, I barely ever had any issues with the next gen update, yet you can clearly see stuff like this on other people's PC's, so it's hardware dependent. So what I'm willing to bet has happened was that bugthesda changed the way assets are managed at the engine level to be more in line with modern practices and didn't bother playtesting the game, as usual. It all comes back to the good ol' saying: if it ain't broke, don't fix it, especially when there's modding involved...
The game already had a tiny microstutter when loading cells no matter how powerful and modern your hardware is. I wonder if it was just turned to 11, though every 10 seconds seems way more frequent than I remember.
It is just weird how after so much time they suddenly update it in the worst possible way, changing archive version to make older game versions not compatible with the new archive versions. Luckily the mod community is smart and resilient, which allowed me to backport some of the mods that i thought were worth it and run the pre-nextgen game with nextgen mods.
My fo4 is completely broken since the next gen update. I didn’t know the newest thing was to break your stuff and say it’s better. No but fr bethesda just said “oh you enjoy playing fallout 4? Let me fix that for you.” And broke my fallout 4. The stutters at 2:30 that’s how my game stutters since Bethesda updated fallout 4.
They were never really any good to begin with… the advancement of technology exposed every single one of their flaws. Can’t hide behind shitty graphics and old tech anymore
This is actually a business tactic in the gaming industry that most people think is the stuff on conspiracy theories, but trust me it's not. Many gaming corporations do this. As in break stuff in the game on purpose for a specific reason that would make them more money.
Somebody should sue bethesda after this. Imagine paying for a mod that breaks your game. Imagine paying for a game that is almost 10 years old and when you play, have a lot of issues
I'm afraid the companies will move to even worse direction.. Probably, they start charging players to get fixes to games that are broken. More microtransactions...
@@redemptionjack4657 No, it's Bethesda's responsibility. If anyone wants to run a platform from which they make sales, they are responsible for the quality and legality of everything sold on said platform. Bethesda owns the platform, it is on them to ensure everything they sell works as intended. Off topic, but it is also legally on Bethesda that anyone is selling mod content stolen from Nexus on Creation Club without the original creators permission.
ya, especially if you want to play offline with mods, they killed that with the update. I went to GOG and bought fo4 GOTY and am now playing fo4 again offline with mods , happy days.
Shame. I remember when it first came out you could actually go through downtown Boston. A while later you needed mods that compressed the textures better and got rid of enemies in downtown Boston. Now from what you’re saying they’ve simply broken the game. And this is why I fully endorse video game piracy
I wish you had mentioned the ridiculously small size of the mod compartment on Xbox. Thousands of us would have happily settled for its expansion over the rest of the update. A few other creators are asking BS to do this but i hope more and more do as having 100gbs in Skyrim but basically only 3gbs in Fallout 4 is ridiculous.
I noticed that in certain locations, if specific conditions are met, the game crashes and shuts down. For example, if you go to the drive-in settlement with the Nuka Raiders when the Minutemen attack, and you defend, there’s a small chance your game will crash, forcing you to restart. This happens in the vanilla version, by the way.
JFC. Still nothing. I'm pissed. Just bought this game, updated it. Wasted my data on my phone because we have no internet here. They have actually lost a customer for any future endeavors. This is the straw that breaks the camel's back. Done. Been saving up to purchase an Xbox Series X JUST to get back into mods.
Arthmoor and his unofficial patch is essentially blacklisted by the greater modding community because of his behavior, and need to edit things beyond bug fixes.
For context. In Skyrim he edited an ebony mine that is canonically am ebony mine, into an iron mine, because he believed that players should have to work for the ebony, and he imposed his so called "immersion" changes to not just Skyrim, but to his Fallout, and later, Starfield unofficial patch modds.
Not really, like the person said above me, it was more of trying to push out a quick update to follow the massive success of tbe TV show. (going to add this too, they absolutely butchered this update, they must've had no testers or something, because Next-Gen update was unnecessary and unacceptable)
Weirdly that seems to be exactly what happened. Also isn't it strange that the main "new content" concerns Enclave Remnants at a time when there is an excellent mod bringing the Enclave into the Commonwealth. It's like Bethesda would prefer it if people stopped playing Fallout 4. This saddens me. I love Fallout 4.
@@thewinterbeard5455 Or perhaps they actually support mod authors and give them a platform to bring new and old factions to the game. If they wanted people to stop playing Fallout 4 they would renounce modding privileges. That would kill the entire Fallout 4 community
"....do seem really minir and dont even last a second in total it's just how many times they occur that becomes incredibly frustrating." I thought you are talking about the loadting screne of Starfield lol
Bethesda has rereleased Skyrim a dozen or so times and never once fixed any of the known bugs, some of which could completely break quests or the entire game. The fact that most of the recent updates for their games are just broken should not surprise anyone at this point, like at all. Hearing news like this does make me glad that I've been taking an extended break from any of their games.
Thanks for posting this. Been trying to troubleshoot this stutter for days. I downgraded with the patching method, apparently that still causes the stutter bug.
I have been saying since 2020 that Bethesda Game Studios is in a pickle. 3/4 of the original team that had been there for decades left/resigned/retired/passed away. Bethesda today is not the Bethesda that made games even as recent as Fallout 4. In fact... most of the team that made Fallout 76 is gone. The team that made Starfield is down about 1/4. Bethesda is in deep doodoo. They lost most of their creative talent. They are riding on name and name only at this point. They made an attempt to update Fallout 4 and broke it... and they do not have the resources or the knowledge to fix it. MARK MY WORDS. Bethesda is at risk of closure. I do not see how they can survive at this rate. They are living on borrowed time they accrued with past titles. Starfield may have sold well, but it's modding community and it's playerbase is shrinking by the day... and the first DLC hasn't even released yet. I would not expect Fallout 4 to ever be fixed by Bethesda.
Imo, companies should be forced to change their name, perhaps introduce a version number, when a significant portion of their team has changed. We need to do something that prevents companies from being trusted on brand name alone or succeeding by standing (and usually taking a dump on) the shoulders of the giants that came before.
Normal People Logic - If it aint broke, don't fix it. Just add more content to what's already there. Bethesda logic - If its broke, don't fix it. Just add more content to hide what's already there. Also Bethesda Logic - Looks like modders fixed all of our glaring issues. Hmm... Lets update the game with more bugs, and break all their mods. Because, "Genetic Fishing Pole mini game" that nobody asked for seems more important then patching the brown face bug or the lag spikes in Boston..." 16 times the lag spikes! Yeet, and go!
I already played Fallout 4 vanilla when it came out in 2013 so achievments doesnt concern me. That's why i use mods now. The community fixes the game, and that's good for me. Mods disable achievements, but im having too much fun with mods to care about being a completionist. Mods make this game fun and run smoothly. Well, depending on if you know what you're doing with load orders and conflicting mods. Learning curve.
I’m absolutely pissed, I had a really good and stable load order, then I decided to update and make a new load order to try out some new mods. Updated my game and now I’ve spent over a week regretting my decision to nuke my last load order.
Todd did this deliberately because of FOLON and the kicker is that it is not even his software anymore to do this. Todd Howard doesn't own Fallout or Elder Scrolls anymore, he went from CEO to Microsoft employee. #FireToddHoward The man was promoted well beyond his level of incompetency. I mean WHY should we invest in Starfield when we KNOW Todd is just going to do the same thing again? It's time we petitioned Todd Howard's BOSS!
I noticed on my Xbox One S, not series's S, does not have the option to change the game mode from performance or quality modes. On top of that, prior to the update, the [CC] Noir Penthouse was not bugged. After the update, the Penthouse itself is now bugged. You complete the quest, walk in, and have no walls or floors. I have done the quest vanilla and modded, and both have been bugged.
There’s graphical glitches as well which made me think my console was dying at first, but nope it’s from Bethesda butchering an “upgrade” for a game that isn’t Skyrim.
INSANE considering the spike in attention the TV show brought. All the PC version needed was some optimization and DLSS but instead the publisher seems to be blind. Storywealth modpack brings it into the current era nicely
I still can't play it on Xbox Series X stutter is real. Mods or not crazy they still haven't fixed it. I definitely won't play until it's fixed. No other game I've played on Xbox have I had to hard restart to play. This happens at least 3 times a hour. Unplayable and unacceptable
Don’t Update on PC/Get GOG version, will even make Fallout London installation easier. Besides nothing worth updating for, mods have you covered. As for consoles, my condolences.
I had the bug introduced with this update, but it's literally the only thing that wasn't an improvement. Everything else has made the game WAY more playable for me. The stuttering has to be user error.
I simply gave up playing this after so many problems with this update. The game is almost 10 years old and there are still people who love the game, and they do everything they can to screw over the community. Enough of this abusive relationship.
@@nlmaster9811 On what platform? The bugs and problems seem to mostly be on PC whilst it actually addressed some of the massive issues for Playstation. Regardless, you having no bugs doesn't mean the update is fine, it means you got lucky, that's it.
The latest release of the UFO4P v2.1.7 from v2.1.6b has made a great difference in general. Playing the game in vanilla with no mods is still broken to this day. Broken quest lines and even the added new content are buggy and broken. I have a newer PC that runs Starfield great but FO4 still will not run in ultra quality or use godrays. The game still freezes and crashes. The FPS issue still exists as well. Any player that says they have no issue is not correct. I play on PC and my children play on all the consoles. The game as it is, is still broken.
Welp. time for a Fo4 unofficial patch unofficial patch. then when a new "update" releases, create a new unofficial patch that fixes the unofficial patch that fixes the first unofficial patch, and see how long of a mod name we can get till we get bored. XD
Not a chance, imo. Creation Club mods are neither curated, nor is there a mechanism in place that guarantees CC mods working with your current mod list, or future upgrades. CC adds neither convenience nor usability or stability - it only adds the financial transaction. Really goes back to an old proverb - "Never explain with malice what can easily be attributed to incompetence."
step 1: create an empty sandbox game and call it openworld step 2: make it so its so broken that any mods will make the engine crash step 3: use that as an excuse to create a "remaster" in "hd" so you can sell it twice step 4: the thing is still broken, but people already bought your game twice
F Bethesda not interested and won't buy anymore of their games. They don't deserve my money. How dumb do they have to be? Release a hit tv show and break the game that made it possible.
Ever since the next gen update came out it screwed over my mod menu and they have yet to fix it or do anything “this operation could not be completed.” will forever be stuck in my head
Another issue with the stuttering is making sure you make sure you do not have too many saves. Regularly deleting your older saves will prevent stutters build up in the vanilla game with no mods.
It's incredible that such a well known studio owned by Microsoft can mishandle their games so badly especially with a proprietary engine that id imagine the developers know well. What an absolute joke.
Not to mention the CK bugs, with the landscape editor breaking the texture material (including the grass). They even managed to screw up the modders with this 'Update'.
I've been playing for a couple of months now and I love the game. I've been a big fan of Skyrim for years but never got into Fallout because ...........well I just never tried it. Having said that I've had countless problems. I did several missions for all four major factions but decided to go with the Brotherhood because Liberty Prime. Well I got to one of the final missions where you follow Liberty Prime and it glitched out. So I reloaded my most recent save. The game crashed. So I restarted and loaded again. Crash. I loaded the second to most recent save. Crash. I went back several autosaves and it finally worked. But it was about 3 hours back. So i did all the missions again and got back to where I was. I load the most recent save just to see and crash. Same problem. So I went back several saves and went with the Minutemen instead and no problems. Now I'm having an issue with crafting a settlement building. No big issue its just that any time I craft something its about a 5-10 second delay. So settlement building takes a while. I have an issue with Piper where I try to talk to her to get her to follow me and she just says random stuff and there's no options brought up. I've had several issues where certain missions do not start or complete. Plus lots of smaller things like the first Minutemen mission where you go inside the building and it tells you to kill 7 raiders but only 3 spawn. The only mod I have installed is the Cheat Room. I deactivated it and still had issues so its not the mod.
I'll admit, Fallout 4 still needs another supplementary patch to fix some of the current issues. Although I wonder if they'll turn the CC & Mods into one Creations menu like they did with Skyrim? I think they're just waiting for Fallout Season 2 to begin. Which will be quite a while...
Xbox mod menu won't allow you to open it if there's any mods that were taken off of BethNet and you'll get the whole Operation Cannot Be Completed error. Which is annoying because one day a mod can just be delisted and now the only way to fix it and get back into the mod menu is to delete all of them via the storage menu for Fallout 4. If there's another way to fix it without starting from scratch each time I'd loved to hear it.
There isn't. And also, a lot of mods just won't work because Bethesda messed up the screenshots of those mods, which somehow makes the entire mod unusable.
@@noahgettheark yea I kinda figured. I was hoping I was wrong but I guess not. And yea I've noticed that as well. Hopefully they fix it eventually lol.
From what i hear, one of the most egregious bugs is game instability when it comes to literally any mod overwriting npc's, also acknowledged by the unofficial patch creator. Longer saves becoming unstable is one of my biggest gripes with modded playthroughs and the patch didn't make it better to say the least.
I think this is just bethesdas strategy on getting players to ditch their older games and play starfield. Jokes on them, I'll just go play cyberpunk and bg3 instead
It makes no sense that Bethesda thought they could push the next-gen update and expect to be done with it without some followup patches. They've had plenty of time to hear & see what everyone is running into. If they want to stand by their commitment to communicating better, they need to tell us something whether it's that they plan on fixing it or we're being left to wallow in their mess.
Maybe if they didn't chance a modern audience that doesn't exist and instead went back to making good games and fixing their games, they'd be popular again.

@@PaladinThizzhe's saying why bugthesda doesn't improve their game design with the amount of bloating updates they do
I'm pretty sure that all companions can appear where they are needed, no matter if you sent them to a settlement.

Maybe I'm a minority here - things that are still broken/ or after the update on Playstation 4 (Yes, have a laugh at my expense):
- Crafting recipes that include wild razorgrain can't be crafted, bc the plant can't be harvested
- Renting the room in Bunker hill is a nuisance, takes 3-4 tries to actually get the room, while Tony Savoldi is cashing in several times
- Companions seem to fall behind even further then before the New Gen Update, sometimes I wasn't even sure if I actually dismissed them
- V.A.T.S. can be used with ranged weapons most of the time but melee weapons are hopelessly bugged, I was killed several times in the process
- More game crashes then before the New Gen Update, which is neat, since I play survival (well, maybe that's thanks to the PS4?)
- Mobs clip through the floor and disappear, no loot
- Sometimes Legendary Enemies don't have legendary items on them
I think there was more, but especially things like the harvesting of plants or the Bunker Hill thing are "typical" Bethesda, implementing something and not fixing it for years. I did an Elder Scrolls online quest back in 2022 and had to browse through forums to try and find a solution for the bugged quest - where I found entries describing the same problems, dating back to 2014.

Just yesterday I targeted Ness, close to Revere Beach Station and I floated until I landed close to Ticonderoga.
Anistar is awesome, we need him in charge
Bethesda: its okay the modders will do our work for us.

The next gen update was trash nothing substantial was added and it broke the game completely unnecessary.
Except Downtown Boston now working on xbox no wait that was substantial.
Bethsda have gone from releasing buggy games, to going back to previous "stable" games and breaking them...
I still can't play it on Xbox Series X stutter is real. Mods or not crazy they still haven't fixed it. I definitely won't play until it's fixed. No other game I've played on Xbox have I had to hard restart to play. This happens at least 3 times a hour. Unplayable and unacceptable
Bethesda is getting worse and worse. They need to restructure the team or something man.
Didn't Earn It.
Don’t Update on PC/Get GOG version, will even make Fallout London installation easier. Besides nothing worth updating for, mods have you covered. As for consoles, my condolences.
Tina DeLuca and Dr penski were like that before the the update actually, don't know what previous update caused that though
My game doesn't even open anymore it just closes after 3secs no matter what I do to try and fix it nothing works.
Fallout 4 works fine…
No, it doesn't.
@@aResoluteProtector started a new playthrough and have yet to find a new bug in 40 hours.
It’s poetic that the Xbox version is the most broken after Bethesda was bought by Microsoft.
Then here I am on PS5 having the best version of the game I've played.
Welp. time for a Fo4 unofficial patch unofficial patch. then when a new "update" releases, create a new unofficial patch that fixes the unofficial patch that fixes the first unofficial patch, and see how long of a mod name we can get till we get bored. XD
Im fairly certain that this was done to stop modding from anywhere else but the creation club and to push on their newer games.
Same. They want to make traditional modding so broken people would be forced into the creation club.
But we'll just stop playing their games instead.
That's something they did day one, This seems primarily to discourage people from the game
Not a chance, imo. Creation Club mods are neither curated, nor is there a mechanism in place that guarantees CC mods working with your current mod list, or future upgrades. CC adds neither convenience nor usability or stability - it only adds the financial transaction. Really goes back to an old proverb - "Never explain with malice what can easily be attributed to incompetence."
step 1: create an empty sandbox game and call it openworld
step 2: make it so its so broken that any mods will make the engine crash
step 3: use that as an excuse to create a "remaster" in "hd" so you can sell it twice
step 4: the thing is still broken, but people already bought your game twice
GOG is doing good work.
Can control which update to apply.
I'm starting to think that Bethesda is making the current games worse to push people to play Starfield.
I can't even load a game save or start a new one
Just another reminder NOT TO UPGRADE yet again
I wonder if they broke fallout 4 just enough to push 4 players into 76 where they hope to trap you into spending Pay2win like ESO
Those of us that never updated are playing just fine.
It had to be done on purpose.
They do not know their own engine, big dog. There's a reason why unofficial patches are always number one on modlists
@@jeremiahjohnson2784that patch breaks the game on console.
Not to mention the CK bugs, with the landscape editor breaking the texture material (including the grass). They even managed to screw up the modders with this 'Update'.
From what I saw one of the authors of the Unofficial Fallout 4 Patch say on Discord, the stutter glitch is caused by using any mod that affects NPCs.
It happens if you change an npc's face id. Aka, edit their faces in ANY way.
@@StormCrownSr Which is one of the most common mods because vanilla Bethesda faces are horrible..
@@Homiloko2 yup.
I deactivated it and still had issues so its not the mod.
still broken
