Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is an American animated television series produced by the studio Murakami-Wolf-Swenson and the French company IDDH. The pilot was shown during the week of December 28, 1987 in syndication as a five-part miniseries and the show began its official run on October 1, 1988.

There are two ways I interpret that scene.
Number one: Shredder probably assumes Baxter’s not asking questions, because he wants to tell the cops without Shredder knowing he’s on to him.
Number two: Shredder explicitly told Baxter his plan just so Stockman would know it, thus finally having a justified reason for attempting to kill him just for the fun of it.
Considering how Shredder operates... I can believe the latter

My theory for how Hamato Yoshi got to New York from Japan without money is he had to immigrate to the US illegally due to being hunted by the Foot. Which would explain why he went directly to the sewers instead of any shelters and why couldn’t get a job because then he’d risk being found out and deported back to Japan.

Doesn't matter if a cartoon is cheesy or dark and disturbing, if it's entertaining, that's what matters in the end. You can have spice with some cheese in your life.

This brought me back to my childhood. I had those VHS tapes. I had no idea the dad from Fresh Prince was that voice! This whole episode cracked me up..I hadn't seen it before so it was new to me. Now I can't get that theme song out of my head though..

15:05 - 15:44 made me laugh the most. I guess the Turtles, April and Splinter collectively agreed that so long as they made it out that building alive, that's all that mattered.
It's obvious that that building was still under construction. And I'm asuming April at that time was the only tenant. That was the writers' of this episode way of having her lose her place to live without involving any casualties.
As someone who never really liked Leonardo, 22:58 is just a treat to watch.

This TMNT is still one of my favorite out of the entire Ninja Turtles franchise😁😁
I was a kid at the comic book and sci-fi convention - let me just bask in the memories of when a $30 ticket got you everything at the convention! - when they announced the first comic of this was coming out and did the presentation. I still remember people saying it was never going to take off.

Nahh...... what's really happening is that channel awesome need to keep uploading content on a regular basis in order to get money money money money money 🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑 TH-cam will only let you advertise if you have a certain amount of content regularly uploaded and of course the money comes from the adverts that we all skip but those five seconds that we can't still pay. I think it's something really harsh like 10 minutes a day of content from single channel in order to be sustainable and eligible for advertising on your videos

I had those vhs tapes as a kid. One of my favorite lines was when one of the turtles asked if the nutrinos had guns one that hot rod, and one of them said of course, they are required by law.

After watching this I kind of hope you do the 2003 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series next, it's quite a step in a different direction from the more.. .comedic feel the OG series here had.

4:14 I don't think it works that way. At 3:12 you see splinter taking care of rats, so what the goo/chemical turned you into can't be based on what you were recently in contact with.
If I had to guess, its what you had the most contact with, the turtles were mostly around that kid at 3:24, and splinter was around rats a lot because he lived in the sewers, in New York, instead of a homeless shelter.
You know, one thing that I've noticed that no one seems to talk about Baxter: The Mousers cause so much damage to catch rats that they'd be ineffective in pest control.
It’s almost like they were used for an ulterior motive in the comics.

2) the most prominent episode in my memory from my childhood is the museum episode with all the snow. I even had the tapes as a child. I remember the all had the same Burger King ad before the episodes started. The BK kids or whatever. Do another commercials episode with that one in it

I was seven years old when this cartoon first started, and I enjoyed it like crazy back then. I haven't watched it in quite some time, but I still like the original three movies that followed.

Varinia Turner It’s pretty good. I don’t prefer it personally, but it’s better than whatever Nickelodeon did with them now.
I consider it third best, mainly because of how differently it looked from the '87 and '03 versions, it took me awhile to get used to the cg look if I'm being completely honest, but when I got used to it I enjoyed it. Anyway, who is your favorite version of the Shredder? Mine is definitely Utrom Shredder.

WHY ON EARTH DIDN'T THAT EVER HAPPN OR SOMETHING???
Recently, I had a conversation with this woman who was in her early 40s who said that she used to watch this cartoon back when she was about 10 and 11 years old. She even had a crush on two of the voice actors Cam Clarke and Rob Paulsen and wrote fan letters to both of them at some point. Unfortunately, she never got responses back from either.

I agree with critic for stickman it's especially true in the sillier cartoon but in most iterations stockman just wants respect or credit he's owed and would be very loyal if he got it. .. though i do find bat shit ready to try to take over to prove he's best stockman too, it is usually after he's been screwed over and stuff. . Not that I'm fully defending him really just in some cases it does make sense to me that he ends up acting the way he does. . since things make him out a bit more inherently devil or bad but most of the time he's just a scientist wanting to progress his science and be recognized for it.. the last part being the kicker
