I like you guys the way you are!! Much better than all the fake popular trash. Very down to earth and you be true to who you are :) I also learnt things about safety in the city with trams etc, which is great to know now!! (I've lived in the country most of my life). Love your videos :)

You're safer walking around in the outback than you are in some of the city. I have also hitch-hiked across Australia.
Walking around Elizabeth st, Flinders st, Crown and other very frequented areas are generally safe but I wouldn't wander into back streets. If you really need to, get one of those bikeshare bikes so you are at least able to get away if followed.
As for those laneways I suspect maybe.. 1% of people stop for the traffic lights. I only stop if there's a car approaching.

Great video!! Spiders for sure! I also reckon bushfires is a big danger!! More for rural areas though. But yeah, it's a big worry for a lot of country people

A Curious Expedition haha yeah i cant imagine any snakes and bugs surviving a Canadian winter! Luckily for us Melbourne is a little cold too so not as many creepy crawlies like in Northern Australia. 😊

Thank you so much! Your videos, especially the 50 things to do in Melbourne, and cheap eats, are very useful. I am headed there next week. You've suggested some places that I, a former visitor to Melbourne, am not aware of and given the prices of food there, I appreciate the list of cheap eats (though I filter to only the halaal places, me being a happy Muslim).
    Cheers!

Good video, especially the points you've made about spiders and trams. Always look to your left, then right. Even look up at the ceilings when walking around in a unit of the apartment (for spiders). Visitors and newcomers should also watch out for being punched in the face or back for no reason, assaulted by strangers, elbowed in trams and inside shops, jellyfish in beach water, flies, jerks, d*ck heads and b*ches (when you get a new job here, be prepared to be mistreated). Sorry but I'm speaking from personal experience. Apart from these, Melbourne is alright. There are worse places in the world to be in.
