I'm flying into Cebu, 1st time to Philippines, can you recommend a section of Cebu city or close by town or city to Cebu that would be a decent spot to settle in fir a week or two to decompress.
A place or area of town that's convenient to public transportation, coffee shops and places to eat, and still be able to get basic furnished studio apartment,
I'm just looking for guidance on a decent practical place to get started, so I can venture out from there.

@@Eamonn-cw9wm I would recommend IT Park. I stayed in a couple of Airbnb's there and I loved it! It's a modern area that's very walkable and safe. There's loads of furnished studios available, coffee shops and restaurants. There's also a new mall called Ayala Central Bloc with a supermarket and movie theater. I love the vibe of the area with all the call centers and young filipinas walking around. It's so easy to get a taxi, just walk to the mall or the main road and you can flag one down real quick. They're cheaper than Grab cars and all that I've encountered have been honest. A taxi from IT Park all the way to SM Seaside was less than $4. The huge and popular Ayala Center mall is a short 100 peso taxi ride away. The Sugbo Mercado is very popular at night with live music and food. Just don't rent a condo next to that if you're a light sleeper.

I've ask my Filipina wife about advice to expats to find a good wife. 1. Don't go to a bar. Stay away from bar girls. 2. Don't give all your money to the Filipina. If she loves or likes you she won't be constantly asking for money. Either she will get mad or leave you. 3. She will introduce you to her family and friends if she is committed.

After a divorce and realization that the dating scene in America is messed up, I thought about dating women from a different culture with more conservative and traditional values. Great content again !! The one thing I picked up on RIGHT AWAY that you said was TO OBSERVE HER for a while !! That is a skill that I learned here at my wildlife sanctuary!! I had to study THE BODY language of the wild bears to figure out what they were telling me about themselves so that I would know what to do or not do around them !! Took a few yrs, 23 yrs and 100,s of bears and many other wild species later and 12000 visitors from 99 countries ,most of them joined me in hand feeding,NOT 1 SINGLE injury !! I realized that words can lie,but body language can,t !! Wish I had known about that 60 yrs ago regarding humans !! Would have saved me much grief and money !! God bless !!

LOL man I love this quad you are right. I’ve had experience in martial arts over the years and they teach “situational awareness” in most classes. Many times this also involves a lot of non verbal cues and body language when dealing with other humans. This is the same deal.

Hey Reekay, great summary I agree with you 100% if you want to meet a good filipina meet her in person on the ground and girl who is working for a living. Forget your dating sites as from my experience you would be lucky to find 20% of these girls are genuine and man the other 80% of these girls are absolute professional's at scamming, they know exactly how to pull a guys strings. Again great work Reekay nice to see someone who has fully researched this matter with honesty and sincerity.
I met my wife on CF. We have been married for years and have a solid relationship. Out of 500 girls that contacted me only 1 asked for any money and it was a school teacher asking if I would buy school supplies for the kids. Not a particularly seedy request. That said, you have to be a little careful if some girl finds you on facebook or some app and has certain styles of provoking pictures like Reekay keeps showing here. If you find a great province girl, you will be pretty lucky. The worst girls in the province are better than the best girls in the states.

What he talks about in this video is spot on and is the way to find, approach and have a good relationship with any good women anywhere. The warning of believe your eyes when you see the truth about her is the best advice. Don't make the mistake of staying in a relationship when you know it's not love, but "good enough for now" because you'll be spending time with the wrong one and miss out on the right one.

Everything in this video is pretty much spot on. Only change I would suggest is not hanging out observing her for a while before you approach. She will notice you and no matter what, that is going to be creepy. Instead, follow the 3 second rule, described many times elsewhere on YT. This is basic day-game. The difference between the US and PI is if you want to succeed with someone who is much younger & beautiful in the US, your day game needs to be top notch and you will still fail way more than you succeed. In PI, it just needs to function at a very basic level.

1. pick a smaller town for your dating (nice little town)
2. you're the one who breaks the ice
3. self-analysis - what is your purpose? What are you really dating for?
4. don't (be in a) hurry
5. observation and discernment (see what she does and less what she says she does)
Very informative, i had a bad experience with a girl from lake sebu and travelled their from the UK after covid restrictions was lifted. 2 days left after what i thought was a great relationship i saw an intimate conversation on her phone with another guy from the USA. It turned out on closer inspection this conversation started on my first full day with her 4 weeks earlier. I spent 2 two weeks looking at 4 walls in her government office in koronadal while she was working. Be careful guys because that girl you would have thought better wouldn't melt.!

I have never been to the Philippines, but I am finally making plans to travel to the Philippines in March or April. I have many relatives in the Cebu region and plan on visiting them. I also have an auntie in Manila who I want to meet for the first time. I plan to be in the Philippines for 30 days. Other than the relatives that I plan on visiting I do not know anyone in your country. The way you describe Bataan, it sounds like a very beautiful place. Makes sense to go to places where higher demand/ novelty is expected but very theoretical for me at least. I wouldn't have the patience. Women of character can be found in big cities, but you have to be a tad ruthless in selection and wise to the ones that will make you suffer. A little experience doesn't harm and one can learn from mistakes.

I think the advice "don't compliment her" clashes a bit with "be sincere." If the main reason you took notice in her was her looks, then how is it sincere to avoid telling her so? As long as you're not gushing on and on about it, then in my view starting with a little compliment is a natural and sincere way to start a conversation, because usually it's the honest reason you're saying hello in the first place.
it's best to bypass that bit of truth and start "as if" you'd already said it. otherwise, you say, "wow, i came here to talk to you because i think you're beautiful." and then.. 'awkward'. puts her in a weird place to respond and doesn't transition into conversation easily.
imagine if a woman walked up to you and said, "wow, i came to talk to you because you seem to be a wealthy man."
at our core.. we want to be wanted for 'who we are', not for 'what we possess.' whether that be beauty or wealth.
@@Lifebeyondthesea Great point to give the opposite example of the woman starting with "you seem to be wealthy." It would be off-putting. Meanwhile, if it's part of the reason she's interested, but she makes the conversation about other things and wants to get to know the real you, that would be fine. You can try dating single and young Filipina caregivers. They are mostly trained to provide "Tender Loving Care" to their patients. If you can afford to pay them Php 20,000/mo for 12 hours duty/day. (You probably need two caregivers if you need 24 hours care) They will care for you until you die. They will cook your nutritious meals, literally feed you, give you your maintenance medicines, assist you in and out of your bed, assist you in taking a bath, assist you in your toilet activities, clean your bed room, change your beddings, etc., some even possessed valid driver's license and know how to drive vehicles. They can drive you around places especially during your regular visit to your doctors if you own a car. They can do some marketing for you too.😂
90% scammers on dating sites is probably pretty close to the right number.
