I am writing a lesson for lawyers on how to do customer service. Watched this video as part of my initial research. Must say it is a very original and important point. Thanks!

Great talk. I am managing a key account customer care Organisation in Germany in the cardbased payment sector. But still - although working in the so called Western world, your speech inspired me in several points. I wish you and your country the very best in the journey ahead.

@irenp1 - Great point! This however has less to do with historical contexts of ingrained views toward customer service and more to do with the individual managing or running a company. In this topic, we are looking more at the view that people have towards customer service. That viewpoint has a stronger affect on their attitude toward the person giving customer service and in turn will affect the quality of the customer service they get. This is a serious social issue in developing nations.

Remember David that long work shifts, lack of proper breaks play a role in the attitudes of workers.

@liljnnaps1 great point! There is much to be said about attitudes and working conditions. This is why I put it on the customer to bring the best out of those serving. Thanks for the comment!
