I hate to love this car, but I do. It does everything we need it to do and does it without complaint. I like this car, i just wish it was better equipped.
It is very smooth over rough pavement. On the highway however, it does loosen up a bit. The faster you go, the sketchier it gets... but below 100mph, the car feels pretty stabil. I have never lacked confidence on the highway in this car and i'v cruised at 90 for miles.
i have an 08 altima and it has all of the options you can put on it (i think....) and its a manual, so i dont have that stupid CVT and i absolutely LOVE it. the 2.5 in it is a really under rated motor. it pulls really hard. i have thoroughly pissed off a lot of people in civics, fusions, camrys, even mercedes are no match for this car...
Thinking about buying a 2007 2.5S as a cheap daily driver. Seems like it's a good option from all the videos I'm seeing. I want to keep the miles off my supercharged Mustang, plus that thing ain't gonna do much for me in the winter.

I actually love the car. Ive been driving Honda's for the last 20 years so it was a tough change. I too am impressed with the ride and the power (for a 2.5). I don't feel it has quite the handling (and road feel) of a Honda, but I still love the car. Mine is a dark metallic Grey with tinted windows. Looks sharp. Its been reliable thus far (40,000+ miles). I had a problem with the gear shifter not releasing. Turned out to be the switch behind the brake pedal. I hold my cars for a long time so I hope I don't have too many problems in the future. Not worried about the engine ...just have read about horror stories with the CVT. So far so good.
I have a old jaguar that I no longer have on the road because I got my dream car (saturn ion) the jaguar is a 1982 lemme tell ya the automatic climate control sucked and it has a sunroof the saturn doesn't but I don't miss the sun roof

My uncle gave me an 09 Nissian Altima with an 2.5L SL model and I love it (especially the sun roof).
Have this same color 09 Altima with a 6 speed manual transmission. Love it

No the only way you can start the car is if you have the smart key really close to the car.
Is this the QR25 motor same one found in the previous generation 05 Altima that loves to blow head gaskets???
Daniel Cardona no. They redesigned the QR in 2007 so it doesn't have the header problem
