The "not switching gears" you mentioned has to do with the CVT Transmission. The CVT is essentially one gear and when you put the car in sport mode, the CVT is mimicking a regular transmission.

Nissan passenger side airbag may or may not work for people weighted 125 lbs or less. This threshold is not found on the car manuals but provided/confirmed by Nissan North America, Nissan Regional Specialist and the Grubbs Nissan dealer in Bedford, TX. Altima buyers should be aware of thresholds of Nissan design vs. their weights.
I am driving this car now as a rental because someone ran into my Mercedes. Coming from a Mercedes, this is a fun and decent car. But my problem with it is the Gas Door location, the small screen in the speedometer showing worthless screens and that this car costs $23,000 brand new when it doesnt have anything cool in the inside, its boring.
Everyone belives that the visual perception of the car beside the speedometer is something fascinating, but it is just Nissan's way of getting consumers. It's totally worthless. I mean why in the world would there be a selection that says "body color?" LOL stupid Nissan
I want to install fron seat covers after removing front cushions in Altima 2015. Can someone help me here? How to remove the front cushions and install seat covers.
And Pure Drive is not the name of the transmission....trans name is X-Tronic CVT...PureDrive is related to the fact the Nissan cars has lower emissions so they surpass the carbon footprint norm for the market polluting way less than the rest of other car makers in the same category.

650shaggy yeah sure but I’m not planning on selling it later on because I have brothers and I’ll probably just pass it on to them so the cars worth is not really important in my case
I assume you mean Factory Navigation? You'd have to swap out the entire radio unit, and the car isn't even wired for a GPS antenna. So you're probably looking at about $2,000 to get it installed. You'd be better off getting a Garmin. I suggest the DriveAssist model, as it includes a dash cam built in :)
The car is basic in that version....my SV version has leather seats, sunroof, AUC, auto lights, auto windshields, rear camera, rear parking sensor, rear vents, photochromic rearview mirror with digital compass, bizone air conditioner and a Bose sound system with 9 speakers....and on and on....and on.
The Maxima, and Chrysler 300 are two that are on my list, but its really what I have available, Neither are every available lol. Currently driving a 2014 Ram 1500 big Horn, But I already reviewed one of those, so no review this time :)

Ask yourself what the car will be worth years later. Hyundais are cheap. The sell cheap. They are cheap.

i just bought a nissan 2013 altima 2.5 SL it came with the back up camera just no navigation im loving it though !
You can buy an after market unit specifically for this car and is plug and play it comes with its a own gps antena

Does this car include Bluetooth? Wasn't sure if I heard it was included.
If it did, I was never able to successfully pair a phone to it. I'm leaning toward it did not have Bluetooth, which is why it would never work.
