Excited to see your new van and the exciting adventures ahead for you all. ⭐️ wishing you all the very best for a smooth transition into your new van and safe travels. Can’t wait for next weeks video. Have a great week 🙌🏼
Hi Guys, have enjoyed your channel for a while now. Think your strong following has come from you being genuine about your motivations & experiences. Your decision to pursue a new caravan because Sue could be more comfortable working in something else & that you saw something different a while back which might suit better is a bit thin. Hope you consider coming clean about your relationship with Zone & the reasons why. Regards & safe travels
Hope you had a lovely trip Sue. We’ve missed you two on our screen. Can’t wait to see your new van. It’s great to see how you guys live on the road. Always learn something as newbies. ❤
Gosh people can be annoying! (talking about some of the negative comments). Of course you're leaving us in a bit of suspense, it's a TH-cam channel for heaven's sake! I think you guys are wonderful and I'm excited to see the new set up. It must be very hard working full time from a caravan Sue. You deserve to have a space that works better for you. I hope the negative comments don't get you down. Onwards and upwards. Thank you for all your hard work making a very entertaining and informative channel that I for one really enjoy.
Thanks for the update guys. Very excited for you both to see what you have chosen for the new set up. 🤗 Sue spends so much time in the van for work she deserves to have the perfect set up to balance your lifestyles 🥰
something doesn’t add up here, difficult to believe you’ve got rid of a $220,000 Top of the Range Zone that you’ve raved about, because it’s no longer suitable???…….sounds like a sudden end of a commercial arrangement with Zone…. Credibility a little shaky
Don’t get me wrong I enjoy your vids, along with one or two other content makers in the Cvan space, BUT I think sometimes you need to be a bit more up front about how you get your vans/ tow rigs etc. I agree who gets rid of a 200k van at what seems to be at the drop of a hat. If you get into bed with a manufacturer then you should be upfront with your audience. There will be some people that purchase gear that you have because they think you think it is great - but it maybe that you are in bed with these companies - you ALL should use disclaimers. Look forward to seeing what you end up in
It's amazing what sacrifices you guys do to live on the road with the behind the scenes of all the logistics to get organised. So looking forward to the next chapter😀
Keen to see what you get next that better suits your working life on the road. It's an insane process managing a move, so look forward to seeing you back and travelling peacefully once more.
Thanks guys, yes travelling and changing over has logistical issues . Amnsure it will all be worth it and a better solution for our work situation. Hope you are travelling well.
Whatever happened is not our business, unless you want to share it. Stay safe, support yourselves and have a good rest in Melbourne. You deserve it. Love watching your travels. At home in rehab after surgery 1 week ago and I love the areas you have seen. Encourages me to get out and travel once I can.❤
Ive followed you for ages. I enjoy the places you take us to & the antics you get up to. I dong care, unlike some others, what you tow, or what you tow it with. That is your business. Thanks so much for letting us tag along. I think its great. Lotsa love you three. 😊
Good on you guys for pretty promptly figuring out and moving on. Sometimes we do hang on to things for far too long and we dont know until we try something if its for us! And priorities change, thats all part of the fun of life 😊 Thanks for sharing the journey and also sharing it while its all hands on deck a bit exhausting! You did well finding accomadations with the trailer and dog! Looking forward to the next episode to see what you guys get up to 😊
Hey Deryk and Sue, Loved this episode! - so full of mystery and intrigue 😅 You guys are always up to something! Can’t wait to see what you choose for your next round of adventures! Change overs can be so stressful so look after yourselves and have fun. See you in the next one. 😃👍❤️
Gosh I felt for you guys through this episode. You did well with driving that distance and flying by the seat of your pants. I hope the transition to getting your new home is smooth.
Hi Guys we wanted to pop a comment and say, we could see how super stressful and emotional this episode was for you guys. We hope that your new adventure brings you exciting things, and what ever van you tow, or vehicle you drive, we love watching your channel for you and seeing what you guys and gorgeous Bobby are up to! 😊 Keep your chins up and we look forward to next weeks episode! 😁
Thanksnso much guys. It's been a couple of really big few weeks trying to sort everything out but we are lucky to have great friends and great support. Logistics are always challenging on the road especially when you are travelling with a dog but we have managed ok. Bobby is enjoying some time with his 2 fur friends in Melboirne and things he is king pin with a bug harden! 😅 hope your travels are going well and thanks so much for the message!
@@suelandolt6840 aaww I bet Bobby is loving having furfriends around 😁 and he is having the best time! We loved it but did find it challenging but will be doing it again 😁we have 2 Mini Schnauzers Abby & Opie and we totally understand the travel struggles, we have travelled with doggies in pet friendly motels for years and we have found the same thing with the $$$! Looking forward to seeing which van you chose, as I googled caravan manufacturers in Melbourne and wow you have heaps of choices. Looking forward to seeing the new van ❤
Look to seeing your new rig, whatever it is. You both look stressed & tired, hope you can have a break. Good on you Sue if you can make your work area more comfortable. Bob seems to be taking it all in his stride. Stay safe.
So excited for you guys. Man I did love your old van but can’t wait to see what you get. As we watched we thought 5th wheeler but then I saw the RSi canopy in the back so that’s out. Hope you let us in on it soon.
Hey Guys, an unusual episode and we hope you get things sorted quickly, we stayed in the Room next door to yours at that motel in Wodonga last year on a trip to Melbourne! How bizarre. It’s your business what you do with your van and your lifestyle and none of anyone else’s. Looking forward to seeing the next chapter, keep on rolling those episodes! Cheers Pete
Hi guys , missed this week’s video. Obviously you are going through a transitional period between vans. Last video was a bit of a “fell off the cliff” episode , keen to know the story behind the sudden change in direction. Keenly awaiting your next video.
Wow, what a surprise to hear that you're selling the Zone! Really curious to see what you get next that could improve your work and life situation after living in the Zone van. Be great to see you back on the road!
The van you have just sold did not look like a 'home on wheels' . Get one with a separate bedroom and a cosy, comfy club lounge where you can put your feet up or sit comfortably to work on a laptop. This works a treat for us !
Sounds superb! Yes we are hoping for a more practical and comfortable space to support our work/travel lifestyle. You guys sound as though you have it nailed! 😊
I had made this same comment and decided not to post it, ( making assumptions) it would make sense for Sue for her work, and if Derek required a nap he could snore away quite happily.
Thanks guys, yes it is always fun and games managing the logistics! I know you guys appreciate the challenges of living and working on the road full time. Hope you guys are well and travelling well 😊
I recon swapping vans is worse than swapping houses. I loathe motel rooms, I rarely get a good night's sleep in them. You're a brave pair doing it the way you are. Hope it all works out well for you. Look forward to seeing what you get this time.
Look out Sue's at the helm " stand aside or bear a child " you go girl 😁😎 Hi guys nothing is more stressful than moving had to do it all my life growing up, due to Dad's job ,but got to live in some orsme places . Keep up the great work and have a lovely time Stay safe and can't wait to see next upload Cheers wazza
When I was working interstate from state to state we sold out house and had a 5th wheeler built. We stored some furniture and after spent more money on the storage unit then the furniture was worth. We gave away and sold the furniture and when we purchased another house we bought all new furniture and saved money over the years on the storage unit.
Whatever you guys have decided on hope it works out,you certainly have stirred the pot so to speak with this decision…very brave sharing your life with others.
Upgrading from a new zone not so long back to another caravan I’m thinking that you guys are focusing on a more appropriate unit that provides a more comfortable work space environment because full time work on the road can be taxing if confined in a reasonably small area/space. This then leads to finding a “home away from home” unit & this could well be something a little bigger than the norm caravan, namely maybe a 5th wheeler. Will watch your upcoming vids to see what way you proceed. Cheers.
💯 you have it in a nutshell! Work has become more challenging with my role changing multiple times since we started travelling and it is anpriority for me as I work full time and feel very fortunate to be able to work and travel. We both need a space more conducive to supporting working on the road.
@@suelandolt6840 I watched the rest. Bit of a stressful drive. The tight backing in and out of the trailer would do my head in a bit. Easier than a van though I guess. I hope my home town Melbourne is good to you while you wait for your new van.
I agree when you live in your van fulltime it’s totally different to just a 4 week holiday, and sometimes you just don’t get the right fit, we started in a Lotus and the layout just didn’t work for us, so we changed, nothing wrong with the van just didn’t suit us, we put it down to a woops, big mistake, moving on, Nothing else, good on you for making the move, it’s all a learning curve,
Such a stressful time, and Sue probably having to keep working throughout! BUT, I’m soooo glad to see that Bobby was not at all ‘put out’ by what was going on around him 😂😂😂.

Hi Guy's so happy to hear that you are down my neck of the woods. Hope the weather holds up. Ain't it a B@#* when you have to empty the van out. We had to do it for a service & like you were homeless, ended up sleeping in a run down mobile home that was only used for storage until we got it back. 😳The Joy's of living in your van.
💯 that's it exactly. So challenging when you are on the road! But it's all part of the journey and will work out, just have to take a breath and get through the logistics of it! Thankngoodness we have some great friends to help us through!
Wow people are negative nancies today. Big drive you guys had. Must feel strange not having your van to sleep in. Hopefully you get something new sorted quickly and I look forward to seeing what you move in to. Enjoy some time catching up with friends etc in Melbourne. The sun is out more now and the freezing cold mornings seem to be leaving us. Look forward to your next episode.
Thanksnso mich Rachel, yes there have been some pounding comments but we will just try and take them in our stride. The weather has been amazing in Melbs but we are in for some rain next week! Stay warm and stay dry!
Hi, hope everything goes well for you both. We always thought you looked like fish out of water in the zone and seemed so much more at home in the other van. Safe travels and future endeavours.
Unfortunately circumstances didn’t allow us to organise another van in time. Same as when you sell a house or a car, the timeframes don’t always align exactly.
Great Video, it was so nice to meet you both in person today at the Caribbean Park Caravan Expo, with everything going on, you took the time to stop and say hello to us (complete strangers)! all the best, with your new van & welcome back to Melbourne! looking forward to seeing the next adventure & new van!
Congratulations on upgrading 💫 Looking forward to seeing your new home, and well done for ‘being so kind’ to those dip sticks who constantly say you have a ‘second agenda’ for selling the Zone 😂😂 It’s your money, your lifestyle, your prerogative if you wish to change caravans ~ no one else’s 👌
Met you guys at the Rosehill caravan show earlier this year, and you are both really nice genuine people. Dont let some of these comments get you down.Looking foward to see what happens .. love a good surprise 😊
Iv'e heard Zone are having chassis cracking issues, not sure if this is correct but heard it from some caravanners few weeks back. Did yours have any problems?
Well that was unexpected. Always keeping us guessing. Can't wait to see if you buy a fifth wheeler or something with 4 slides and a designated office space.
The accommodation is ridiculously expensive. $180 over night, wow rip. $60 would be equivalent to a day's rent on an average house, average neighbourhood. $100 would have been fair.
Oh ok , so your going from the beautiful zone caravan to a u haul carrier 😂 and a storage unit, exciting stuff, as long as your both ok and happy that’s what matters
Yes ahaha when you put it like that! Yes we are all good thanks, managed to arrive safely in Melbourne and have some time to catch up with friends. Have a great week!
Oh no, read the title, watched the intro, flipped to the comments. No comments. You only posted this 1 minute ago. My anxiety for you is rising. Just sat down to relax and eat my lunch and watch the video and find out. Such a relief. Glad you will continue to improve the quality of your life as you balance work, home and travel life.
Can I say I like watching you guys but really most people would kill to own a caravan and ute like u guys have wow I'm in shock I hope u guys don't over stretch your selves $$$$
Hey Denise, lots of things happening in the background but 💯 the Zone caravan is a great product, it definitely wasn’t the quality of the Zone that drove our decision.
Hey guys cant say ive had a negative spin on your u tube before. However big new toys holidays etc etc the title homless is a bit much. Most people are struggling in Australia , your not homeless at all lol. But yer i liked the channel more when ya had the cruiser , nova , and 4k subs. Sure people grow. Good for u. Awesome. But with all the flash things ya have , why do u guys ask for support and buy us a beer. We are just simple 9-5 aussies. U guys are loaded lol. Worked my whole life to never have anything new. Hope you guys appriciate the lifestyle. Enjoy.
Thanks Steven. Yes if you watch through the episode we actually say how grateful we are and that we understand that some are doing it really stuff and that we are very fortunate to be in the situation we are in. What we have learnt is that it doesnt matter ehat you travel in or how you travel as long as you are lucky enough to experince it as the destinationnos the same. We loved our cruiser and our nica, we had an even simpler setup before it and made awesome memories in that too. Appreciate your feedback as everyone is entitled to their view.
Its tuff these days to find a new caravan with a reliable clock 😅
Omg this had me laughing so hard! Great call mate!
This is great😂
First thing I’ll be checking on my new van will be the clock ⏰ no deal ❌ if it’s not working 😂

Hi, hope everything goes well for you both. We always thought you looked like fish out of water in the zone and seemed so much more at home in the other van.
Safe travels and future endeavours.
Thanks so much guys, yes hoping our new van suits what we need from our day to day
Why get rid of the van without organising another one?
Unfortunately circumstances didn’t allow us to organise another van in time. Same as when you sell a house or a car, the timeframes don’t always align exactly.
@@justvanningit So did you get rid of Zone due to issues with it? Or change of floor plan? We need a van and struggling to find good brand
Had a laugh when derrek was like oh i guess its takeaway again (after previous episode) hahaha
I loved the Zone you guys had, we should be running a Sportsbet on what the next van is…🤔🤔🤣
Yes it was a great van. 👍
Great Video, it was so nice to meet you both in person today at the Caribbean Park Caravan Expo, with everything going on, you took the time to stop and say hello to us (complete strangers)! all the best, with your new van & welcome back to Melbourne! looking forward to seeing the next adventure & new van!
Watch the video today and I said to the wife I bet it will be a titanium. Look forward to seeing the new home
Thanks so much guys. Hopefully it won’t be too long until we are back on the road!
Hey guys. I see you’ve got the smartcap. Recently put one on our new ranger. Great canopy’s. Absolutely love ours
That's awesome to hear. Yes have it all in boxes ready to go!
So.... Titanium offered you a deal you couldn't refuse!
We weren’t offered a deal when we decided to sell the Zone, that is not why we have changed vans. Sometimes it’s not that simple.
My bet is on a 5th wheeler. Looking forward to seeing whatever it is you've decided on.
Thanks, a couple of people have said a 5th wheeler!
Exciting things to come
Where are you guys 🤔🤔 we look forward to your videos. 😜
How exciting! People get wound up about you changing don’t they! Thought you had your accountant chiming in at one point 😂😂. Thanks for sharing!
😂 yes it can be very heated! Thanks so much for you comment and support, hope you have a great week ahead! 😊
@@jacquiyoung8703 hey not wound up at all just pointing out facts. If you order a brand new van you wait minimum a year.
@@ascotm yeah…I’m aware of that….but thanks again for your unwanted input.
@@jacquiyoung8703 unwanted input thats your problem then some cant take honest criticism.
Hey guys will catch up with you soon.
Look forward to it Graham!
So exciting 😊
Thanks so much!
We stay at the reign inn
Room 33
Next to where you guys parked your trailer when we go to Newcastle to visit family
Good luck with your new adventure
Can’t wait to see your new love shack
Could you let me know what the pet-friendly motels are please mate
Can only guess that Sue is pregnant?? 🤣😂 That Zone was a beaut. Excited to see what you are calling an upgrade
Thanks guys, no not pregnant sadly! Simply after a more practical solution for our work situation as Inwork fulltime. The Zone was a great van.
Met you guys at the Rosehill caravan show earlier this year, and you are both really nice genuine people. Dont let some of these comments get you down.Looking foward to see what happens .. love a good surprise 😊
So what did you do with the stuff in black angus when staying a t motels? did you unpack it ?
Yup, there was a lot of packing and unpacking across the 3 days!
@@suelandolt6840Oh My Gawd how exhausting.
Iv'e heard Zone are having chassis cracking issues, not sure if this is correct but heard it from some caravanners few weeks back. Did yours have any problems?
Hey guys, our van didn't have any chassis issues. The van itself was sound.
The coffs motel for $185 per night. A classic 1970 rip off.
No wonder we caravan it and free camp. I would prefer to put that $185 in the diesel tank.
Cool Ep guys
Thanks Craig, hope you are well!
Yes it was very expensive but at least could accommodate travelling with a dog which can be challenging and generally ends up being pricier!
If you are in Victoria near Rutherglen we have plenty of room for you, your Ute, trailers and your dog. From fellow caravvners
Thanks guys, that is super kind of you!
How long did you have the Zone as it only seems recently you got it ?
Hi we got the Zone in November. This wasn't a planned change.
Let me guess your getting a 30ft 5th Wheeler to go with the Silverado?
😂😂😂 my goodness, imagine towing and parking that size beast!
Keeping us in suspense…. Just isn’t fair 🤣🤣
😂😂😂 thanks guys!
Thanks so much guys, hope you still managed to enjoy your lunch! We appreciate the support and your feedback! 💯 we carry on, just part of the journey
Can I say I like watching you guys but really most people would kill to own a caravan and ute like u guys have wow I'm in shock I hope u guys don't over stretch your selves $$$$
Thanks Paul, yes 💯 agree with you and we are very grateful for the setup we have.
a very CONFUSING video ??
Maybe a titanium with rear club lounge 🤔
We have alotnofnfriends with titaniums and they are very happy with them.
I feel there is a bit more to this than you just changing vans... What went wrong with the Zone?
Hey Denise, lots of things happening in the background but 💯 the Zone caravan is a great product, it definitely wasn’t the quality of the Zone that drove our decision.
A 5th wheeler? Club lounge? Longer van with a separate space as a study?(seen bunk areas rearranged to be whatever you want!) so many options….🤦🏼♀️🤣
That all sounds amazing! Yes I have heard of a desk where the bunks are. That's a great idea!
Hope you had a feed at the truck stop at moorland
Sadly not, I believe it is amazing!
Ettamogah Pub, freecamp...Albury
My money is on a Titanium. Coz all with a Chevy have to have one. I hope I’m wrong
If you need somewhere to stay I have a empty house just out of Ballarat your welcome to stay in.
