Loved this episode, we just laughed and laughed. It was so nice to see real glee in the both of you for seeing snow for the first time. Very nice to see someone finally taking a true interest in Victoria, and not just heading to the heat. Keep it real and rollin.
I’d be just as excited to see snow as you Deryck, at 60 yrs young, I’ve still never seen it…love that you both let your inner child out to play 😂 yayyy Sue, a snow angel….something I want to do
Your excitement at seeing the snow made me so happy, how amazing that after all these years of living on the road and travelling to so many wonderful places that you can still find such joy and things that excite you 😊😊❤️❤️
“I am feeling a bit rooted”…….Gold. It took me the best part of 10 years too learn how to fish Victoria’s bays and freshwater ways after moving from WA so don’t be too hard on yourself 👍
Awesome video , thanks again . Please keep bringing your lovely positivity, smiles and giving us all a good giggle or two. Hope Bobby is feeling better 💫🤗
Another awesome episode. I absolutely loved you making your snow angel in the carpark Sue. Bloody hilarious 😂😂 We lived and worked in Bright last Nov-Feb and saw Hotham in the summer. Stunning in both seasons ❤ Loved the High Country episodes, so different to what everyone else is doing and love seeing Victoria showcased in winter as it’s stunning 😍
Thanks for another great ep, loving the onscreen tabs showing the camp locations and details. These Vic highlands eps have made us get more excited about our small getaway coming up
Was great to see you both experience snow for the first time! Look forward to seeing your next video you both keep it so real, keep up the fantastic work that you both do love it!❤
Great to see you guys behaving like children in the snow. Really enjoyed your time in the high country- such beautiful scenery. I guess you're going to Melbourne for the suspension fix. Hope it all goes well.
We lived in Armidale NSW. My sister & family visited from Botswana. We drove down to Sawtell on the coast for the day & went swimming at the beach as their young girls had not often been to the beach. Beautiful and warm day. But, by the time we got back to Armidale in the evening it was snowing…so these guests from Kalahari country saw sunny beach and snow in the same day. Their excitement at seeing snow matched yours. 😊. Lovely episode.
Really enjoyed viewing your recent quiet picturesque back/high country travels - so much diversity a welcomed change from the wind blown coastal scenery favoured by many tubers. Sue I think you probably need to treat Deryck to a river fishing birthday gift - some seasoned tips and tricks required I sense!! I find it less challenging using the local fishmonger...haha. Happy travels.
Putting a itinerary up is a great idea as it will give us some idea of travel days involved as we are loking at doing a bit of a extended trip down there next year in Autumn . Can you also make sure to update on the fuel economy etc as we are waiting on confirmation our business is sold next month & we will be looking at tow vehicles . Luv'n the videos ,we always crack up at bobbies antics in the background .Keep on living life to the full
It’s always lovely and refreshing seeing you guys every week It great see how you guys both get involved The respect you both have for each other The camera work Brilliant
nothing like being lured into more lure purchases. My partner Jen and I are getting excited. As we leave in 2 weeks to travel down to Tassie for 3 weeks of winter caravaning, this episode is fantastic with all that snow. Keep up the impressive work!
Great made me laugh so much. I haven't seen snow yet in Oz. I've been here 15 years from the UK. Snow definitely brings out the kid in one. 😊 loved the snow angel 😂. If it makes you feel better, at least you are only loosing lures. I broke my fishing rod in half when I snagged it. 😂😂
Love it….. get in and have a swim - liven up the footage Derek! 😂 Derek is obsessed with lures…. D you need a ‘lure wrap’ to store them all ! Snow ⛄️ love the reaction ! Brrrrrrrrrr🥶🥶
Absolutely brilliant episode guys, loved every minute of it. Loved your adventures in the snow & that's the cutest snowman I've ever seen. Don't be too disheartened with the fishing Deryck, I've known a few good fishermen fail to catch fish in those rivers😅😅 Thanks for showing my home state's high country in all its beauty. ❤❤ Great content guy's, have a great week & safe travels 😊😊❤❤
The best idea ever and Would love your itinerary and month that you did it , wish more would do this ! If it’s not too much trouble for you . The best bit is we know all is doggy friendly ❤
Snow was stunning! Loved how you are both like a pair of little kids lol. We went through about a month ahead of you - we caught the beautiful autumn colours but sadly no snow😢
Love Mt Hotham, I was a coach driver for many years a would take a 14.5 metre coach full of school kids from Brisbane to the top of Mt Hotham about 10-12 trips every snow season. Many times I’ve gone up and down that hill from the Harrietville side not being able to see the road just staying to the right of the big orange poles.
Another great episode thank you. It would be great if you could show us your itinerary of the high country. Maybe as a trip in the Campedia app as well.
The snow is very exciting initially and it's great to see you enjoying it. I lived in Tumut for a few years and used to go skiing each winter in Mt Selwyn and Thredbo if we could get through.
Good to see there's others as successful at freshwater fishing as I am. Beautiful countryside makes up for the lack of fish. I've been keeping a record of some of your stops.
Loved your video, had a huge grin with you 2 in the snow, and your excitement. Beautiful snow Angel sue. We are hoping to go see snow up at Mt bulla soon. Keep living the dream ♡
Was hoping you would land a fish this episode! An itinerary would be wonderful. It’s such beautiful countryside you’ve captured and conveyed. Take your point that autumn (probably early) would be ideal. Hard to reconcile we’re in the same country (what with snow and all). Greetings from Dundee Beach, NT.
Hi to the happy travellers. If you happen to put together your winter camping locations in Victoria. I would love to get hold of it. Each year I ride a motorbike through that area in Spring on the way to the Moto GP but we now have a new Sojourn and am going to upgrade the tow vehicle to Ram 2500.. I want to do as you guys have done and not rush. I am looking forward to hearing about the mods to the Chev. It's a beauty. Cheers. Frank and Martine Guernier.
+1 on the itinerary. We live in VIC and have spent time in the high country, would love to checkout some of the campsites you stayed at, looked beautiful ❤️
At last, great content , we are so happy to see new places, everyone is doing WA, good to seen fresh content else where and the snow! Red wine fire, i would have prefferred to be locked in snow drift from the world....
Haa top ep! Lots of laughs and great to see inner childs come out and play in the snow. We would do the same. Your content is always great to watch. Never gets boring. Deryck its fishing not catching haha :) also where did you buy that orange and dark coloured flanny from. Love it. Nice colors 🎉
Loved it, are you going to do a rundown on your fabulous Zone and also how do we follow your friends who were with you in the high country. Can’t find them at Trips Travels.
Hi, Loved the High Country episodes so much that we are planning to do it. Would love your itinerary to plan our trip if possible. Regards Mitchell P.S. Fishing is not for everyone.
Derrick can I say wrong lure in shallow small creeks try a Celta , small fish love em in those creeks and don't fish downstream fish face the flow and grab anything coming towards them not from behind the river at the bridge would use a cobra but if near rapids try a Celta hope the info helps you get one , Tassie Tips
I loved how best your bed was - what brand is your bedding? Is it labour intensive to tuck it in and make it look so good?!! Great video guys, keep ‘em coming, very entertaining 😊
Hey guys, just wondering what your total length from hitch to spare wheel and what is your total caravan weight full of water? Waiting for your next episode to drop, luv them
Loved the episode. Question re the dog and the snow, we have 2 snow dogs, was bobby alowed out of the car, and is there anywhere you’re allowed to take the dog out in the snow. Understand Bobby’s not suited to snow 😀 but our girls are.
Am enjoying the trip, but has anyone mentioned trout fishing season? Basically June to September is spawning time in rivers so you can't catchém ...... Oh, that's right, you can't anyway.
We have been looking at a high country trip and would be interested in your itinerary. I was wondering which route you took and suitability of roads towing a larger van. Did you take Bob up to Hotham? What month were you on this trip ? Enjoying your vids guys !
ITS ONLY IN THE 20,S AT NINGALOO , IM IN BRIGHT AT THE MOMENT AND ITS STUNNING , GLAD I GAVE EXMOUTH A MISS THIS YEAR , HEADING BACK TO KALGOORLIE NEXT WEEK ,4200KM SO FAR , LOVE YOU GUYS , CHEERS CHERYL AND SNOOP DOG

I’d be just as excited to see snow as you Deryck, at 60 yrs young, I’ve still never seen it…love that you both let your inner child out to play 😂 yayyy Sue, a snow angel….something I want to do

Great video. I've heard from a fairy that you can reset you fishing mojo by fishing at a trout farm.
Good to see there's others as successful at freshwater fishing as I am. Beautiful countryside makes up for the lack of fish. I've been keeping a record of some of your stops.

Derek those tassie devils are dynamite on salmon so keep them
Best throw that ROD away, save yourself some money and go to the fishmonger!😅
You got to learn to hide those fishing lures better 🤣 ….I’ve just started my own collection of lures for Murray Cod.
Bbbbrrrrr cold I was metal telephony with Boby and he said suff the snow he is cold and he said he wants a heated over coat 😅
