Interesting to see them balancing the staging area+leeds concrete, I personally don't use the combo to make tons of materials since I just don't see the need for that much materials. Hope the hotfix for the staging area comes in soon though.
I'm still happy the update the game from time to time, I started the game late (Last year or two possibly) but became fan of SOD and can't wait for State of decay 3. Honestly glad the team still passionate about the game
I used to play State of Decay a lot and make simple let's play videos for years, never found any Indian audiences for the game. I kept with SOD2 videos and streams still the same but I did notice a small amount of Indian audiences. I am happy to see a Indian channel making these sort of videos on SOD. Might get back on the train once I sort some things out in life. SOD 1 was literally the only game I played for many years.

Firstly thank goodness for no zombies from a search crash. I think it's part of a larger issue that can/cannot be seen as an issue. My problem is, there's zombies everywhere. They spawn anywhere, no thought. They shouldn't spawn in, like 3 pigs or cows from Minecraft. With a more realistic approach, it'd mean anywhere not considered a hotspot would be mostly zombie-less... Rough idea I'd try coding, is cities have more zombies than most areas, as well perhaps a roaming horde of zombie that scour the city/area. Also I don't want to flip through character selection screen, for over an hour many times, because we/I want characters to end the game with, like 165 health characters.
Feels like the Haven device still takes too long to kill zombies in some instances, but feels great during a siege. My Haven device seems to be bugged though, just stops working completely after playing for a while, even if you dismantle it and build a new one.
I have probably done the Mysterious Broadcast Mission at least 2 dozens of times and never having any problem doing them. I know there were many threads on Steam about it and it crashed because people were using either a mod manager or mods that were outdated.
@@StateofDecayScience Yes I'm talking about the mysterious broadcast mission were you get a mission to visit either a cell tower or the big water tower. Then when you get close enough you open the map and there will be a drop on the map. Set a manual marker on the map and drive over to the marker and it's a cleo drop that you can open and it contains loot. I'm not 100% sure but it seems like it's always the silenced 5.56 rifle that you loot the first time if you make a new community. These "Red Talon mysterious broadcast mission" will continue to pop up here and there (you know it's those missions if it points you to a cell tower or the big water tower) and eventually if you go and get all those cleo drops. You will end up with a silenced 5.56 rifle, silenced 9mm smg, silenced shotgun, silenced pistol (not the 9mm or .22 cal but the other last pistol type). The weapons are the same that is in one of the bounties that you can do to get a hold of several different silenced guns. It's not always silenced weapons in those cleo drops though. Sometimes it's a crossbow instead and a rucksack of resources and some bolts. And yes I know there are other mysterious broadcast missions. One is that there is a group that wants you go and get a plague cure for them. If you go to that drop there will be a plague cure in the drop but also the equipment you install in a facility to craft scentblock, bloater cloud grenade etc. Another mission is that they left a van behind and there is loot in the van but they left it behind because there is a juggernaut there. I'm not 100% sure but I also think the mission where you go and there is one man/woman and they tell you to go and find there friend. Their friend will give you 1 scentblock when you get to them and after that the house will come under heavy attack. If you manage to get the friend away from that in one piece you can get another 4 scentblock as a reward. I think that mission is also a mysterious broadcast mission but I'm not 100% sure. There might even be more "Mysterious Broadcast Missions" but those are the ones I come to think about immediately.
A shame the zombie spawning stuff they talked about didn't make the cut; where as you cleared out an area of zombies, they'd spawn much less frequently in that area from then on, enabling you to actually feel like you were clearing out areas of the map, and it'd add an entirely new level of strategy to Lethal zone.
Boy, I was thinking, the water drag is a bug or one of my mods is broken (because it targets cars) :D I'm playing the game again since a few weeks and didn't recognize, there is was an upgrade regarding this. Thanks mate!

Does this change how we approach lethal or even nightmare difficulty, gameplay wise? Anybody have some thoughts about this here? I believe this community is very knowledgeable about these subjects! :)

Its too bad they were unable to actually fix the surprise power launch follow attacks. Also typical that a few random bugs popped up with the several bug fixes offered.
I'm hoping for a .5 update at least for just shits and giggles but yeah, I'm happy with it and I'm excited for the third. I hope they bring back some characters from the first game.
It's bugged to absolute hell. It constantly gives off in-game messages about upkeep and noise. It does not provide any material upkeep reduction, only construction time reduction buff. And it gives some ridiculous stuttering and freezes at random, especially when logging in or a new mission popping up, longest I had was 43 seconds of frozen screen. I tried a fresh install, unmolested game - same crap. My game is currently unplayable.
@@Kyakuz I'm playing on nightmare. But this is not the problem. The hearts are already discovered, but the red fog does not appear on the maps. Only the heart icon is displayed. But I appreciate your interest.

Or the fact it is advertise as a quality of life update. I just recently got into SOD 2 a few weeks ago and found the nice water highway on providence, I believe that is the map. Now lumbermill is even in a worst spot with the water changes
Honestly, for a final update, this feels kind of weak. I was expecting so many finishing QOL updates and bug fixes. Instead we get a few more bugs, some nerfs to vehicles, and one QOL update (which in my opinion, is nice, but not really game changing.) Was kind of expecting a little more. Hopefully they decide to release one more patch to fix the bugs the update created or didn't fix that it was supposed to.

I thought patch notes said you can now deposit ruck sacks at Outposts. Not working for me. Is it broken or am I missing something?
It's for Landmark Outposts, you still have to upgrade regular Outposts to rank 2 first.

Zombie spawn system has not been revamped. Only the search crash spawn was fixed.
Spawn revamp was abandoned by the devs

I have a bug where the plague territory does not show on the map since update 36;
what difficulty are you playing on? on dread and harder, it doesnt show I think unless hearts are discovered...
