Hi Ric, We’ve just seen your video and it was thoroughly entertaining 👍. We knew zip about The Witcher series on Netflix until a mate of ours suggested watching it. We didn’t understand anything except Henry Cavill was busy going around cutting people’s heads off a lot 🤣. Back to the puzzle… thanks for the breakdown the colours, you’re the only blogger who does this Ric and it helps, the puzzle imagery is amazing and the piece cut unusual too. Hello mates, thats great that you knew a tiny bit, i have watched some of the TV series but i didnt approve of it as a fan of the games - it’s kind of a mish mash of the stories in the games with embellished and disconnected scenes. I know that the main actor has had issues with the producing side as he wanted to be as loyal to the games as possible but they seem to have had difficulties in agreeing. So he left the show after 2 seasons but it’s definitely something different to watch on a rainy day! The puzzle oh thank you very glad to hear that you enjoyed it, i never script anything and later i keep thinking oh no i should have done this or said that - im considering doing a varnishing on this puzzle to bring the colours to life so there will be a follow up on this i think, glad you found the colour descriptions useful. 😁

It’s ok if you haven’t played the games - definitely not everyone’s forst choice but great to hear tou enjoyed the puzzle. I will work some magic about the colours and see what will happen, stay tuned. As to franchised puzzles, yes i getcha! Heard of some very bad official puzzles that were beyond bad. Love the witcher! Wont watch the show now that Henry cavill isn't geralt. This is a super cool puzzle. I have a witcher puzzle done, but it's with the actors not the game characters. I have another witcher map puzzle to do as well. Great video! ❤

I have the map inside a playstation dvd case, my game cane with my ps4 when i bought it a hundred years ago 😂 is your map like mostly dark blue and green? Cheers!

I think the main issue here was that the box was nice and shiny, while the puzzle has no finishing on top of the ink, it almost felt like those prints on toilet paper hahaha now I was just thinking about it, and that was the main issue, a lack of finish, a bit of gloss (tiny bit!) would have helped.
@@RicPuzzles that's exactly what i did for a puzzle that looked too dull in a matte finish. I reassembled the puzzle and gave it a couple of coats of spray clear coat in gloss. It popped! Also protects the surface, which is good for multiple puzzlings or a delicate surface. You can usually find satin finish too 👍
I might do exactly that, Allison, i would probably do it with them spread out though, did yours kind of glue everything together?! Im sure you did it very lightly with every coat, but even so theres the risk right? Curious to now more before i do it for real!! 🤭

Ric, I truly enjoyed this puzzle, the graphics and the piece shapes. I am not a video game person but my kids are and I have 3 boys. Two of them are teenagers. They love video games. So they love this stuff😅🧩❤️
