It’s another hot day in February with the fiery sun. In this lovely month where red rose can be seen everywhere, today I am preparing to make a traditional lip balm with my own hands in a naturally healthy way at home.
Many people asked me whether I use make-up and lipstick if I am in the village. So in this video I am going to show you that we can be beautiful even with our traditional methods.
On this hot day, I prepared a cool drink to relax my body while doing my work. This is just my recipe and it's my favorite drink I've found. These are all very delicious natural ingredients with soothing properties. The taste is truly divine 😌
The sun has set and night is slowly coming. I prepared a delicious meal that people in our villages usually eat at night. We always eat wood-fired bread from the village bakery. They are available hot and fresh from the village bakery in the evening.
So thank you very much for joining me today to spend a traditional day in the beautiful village.

මේ ගෙවෙන්නෙ ගිනියම් නවම් මහයි. තොල් පැලිලා තොල් වේලිලා මේ ගිනියම ඇගට දැනෙන්න කලියෙන්ම සොබාදහමේ අපූරු සිසිල්කාරක ගුණ ඇති අපූරු වර්ණ ඇති දේ එකතු කරලා හැඩවෙන්න නම් ගම නගරය කියලා කාන්තාවන්ට භාදාවක් නෑ. අතීතයෙත් අදත් කවදත් කාන්තාව නම් හැමදාම සොබාදහමත් එක්කම හැඩවෙන්න පුරුදු වෙලා හිටියේ.
රසායනිකව වෙනස් නොකල සුපිරිසිදු නැවුම් පොල්තෙල් සමග මිශ්‍ර වුනු සොබාදහමේ අපූරුම නිර්මාණයක් වන රෝස එකට එක් කරලා ස්වාභාවික තොල් ආලේපනයක් හදාගෙන ගම්මානේ සිරියාවට හිනා වෙලා හැඩට ඉන්න මැණිකෙත් ආසයි.
වැඩ අතරෙ මේ ගෙවෙන ගිනියම් දවස් ගෙවාගන්න නිතරම ගුණදායක රසවත් පානයන් සොබාදහමෙන් හොයාගන්න අලුත් මිශ්‍ර කිරීම් එක්ක ඒවා රසවිදින්න කදුකර මැටි පැල්පතේ නම් නිදහස එමටයි.
තැඹිලි වතුර තැඹිලි මදය මේ දේවල් දිව්‍යමය පානයක් සදහා නම් අවශ්‍යමයි. මේ ගිනියම් දහවලේ පිපාසය නිවන්න සූදාම් වුන ඒ පානයේ අපූරුවත් බලන්න්කෝ. කන්නත් බොන්නත් ගමේ විදියටම දැන් ටික ටික මැණිකෙත් හැඩගැහෙන පාටයි. ☺️
දන්නෙම නැතුවයි මේ දවස්වල නම් ඉර හාමි කදු අතරෙ එක පාරටම ගිලිලා යන්නෙ. හවසට ගමේ බේකරි ගෙදර දර පෝරණුවේ පිච්චෙන පාන් සුවද ගම පුරා පැතිරිලා උඩු සුලගට ගම්මානේ කදුකරයේ ඉහළ ඉන්න මැණිකෙටත් දැනෙනවා හොද හැටියට. ඉතිං කවදත් රසවත් රාත්‍රී ආහාරයක් සූදාම් කරගෙන හිනියට රැහැයි හඩ වියැකෙද්දි අදුර ගලාගෙන එද්දි පැලට වෙලා රසවිදින ගමන් රාත්‍රියේ පාලුව කාංසිය නිදහස විදගන්න මැණිකෙ හරි කැමතියි.
අදත් මේ නිදහස් ලස්සන දවසට ආවට ස්තූතියි.
මං ආදරණීය උඩරට මැණිකේ...
ටිකක් ඈත දවසක , කොලපාට කදුකරයේ පැල්පතෙන්..
The " Beauty " and the " camouflage " are opposite to each other , though both are about the surrounding Nature : one is to stand out while the other one is to merge with it to disappear .
But , this episode tells us something different : there are ways - that have traditionally been perfected over generations ; by following them , one can merge with the surrounding Nature , still stand out as beautiful as ever !
And , as the Divine one has no boundaries , we too enjoyed the heavenly taste ! - it had transcended all the boundaries and reached us all !

King coconuts are yellow or orange colour . Normal coconuts are green colour ☺️ normal coconut babies are young coconut , Orange colour coconut babies are King coconut ☺️
I was just curious because where I come from all coconuts are just cocnuts regardless of colour, but we do have the very small coconut trees that never grow taller than a person and the nuts are no bigger than cocoa pods we call those Hybrids 😊😊❤❤❤

Any idea if u can show how to cut open that dried fallen coconut easily. we never use the coconuts from the tree in our home as it is not easy, totally dried coconuts fall by themselves disturbing the flower trees beneath on ground. easier used to throw fallen big leaf but now resorted to composting some portion of dried leaves.
