I can understand what you were saying about getting a rush from doing something you really like. My rush came the moment I would put on my umpiring whites and head off to umpire a couple of games; but what was even better, was umpiring the young players and helping the to learn the game. I did the Rock's Crossing on the Nowendoc Rd for 2.6 yrs at Wingham Coaches, the longest run in the Company, 2 hrs ea. way All the way out there to pick up two kids, they had to travel 20 km from their farm to just connect with me at the bridge. I miss that country run, gravel rds start 40 mins from RC, just another way to Walcha via Thunderbolts Way Sitting at the bridge in country silence listening to the crows, a bull mellowing, a sheep bleating, blue skies and the heat shimmering off the paddocks. Looking West watching the storm clouds rise over the Great Dividing Range, see a few strikes of lightning, a rumble in the distance, and the dust cloud of the mum's car coming down the mountain, twice a day we do this
My daughter touched down in Oz five years ago and 2 days later got her first ink,now has quite a few and loving the life and all things Oz,have a great xmas Shane.

I remember driving past a gym on Pennant Hills road and after every new year's the joint was full of fat pigs until about mid to late February when the "new year new me" bullshit wore off and they were all back at KFC on gym night!
