Even if I already knew majority of apsects of the lore on warframe, being able to go back and look up videos about the lore to refresh my memory of it is always nice. Keeps it fresh and always a joy to look back into when theories are made at the time and look how wrong we were where it was going to lead from speculations. And I would like to say thank you since I dont think lorekeepers get it enough.

So actually quick plug, I used to make videos on a channel called a nerdy guide to D&D (it's still up), where I went over kind of the basic lore of the main D&D races in case you're interested! But yes, definitely wanna talk about D&D stuff one day, I have a strange hankering to talk about the various Gods.
I don't comment often, but... Saw your warframe lore vid about infestation, enjoyed it quite a lot, because apparently playing the game for 3000+ hours and spending even more time on the wiki is not enough to know everything about the story. And honestly, great job dude, awesome content. You've earned yet another sub, I will definitely come back for more lore stuff.
I enjoy this, I hope for lore 101s on the warframes themselves someday, at least for the ones that has enough info lying around that can make a video like ExcUmbra
an idea I had for some shorter videos would be to talk about individual frame. things like their theme, how their abilities match it, and the connections their names have like Garuda, Excalibur, and Oberon. the wiki even has trivia sections on the frame's pages. It could even be a segway to a video talking about the real-world inspirations for the factions or their aesthetics. I believe tv tropes has some info on their warframe pages. (written before I finish video).
i'm sure it's the algorithm that bring me to you, on Tiktok and TH-cam. but it's nice to have lore content to watch just as i coming back to Warframe. also, your video on Parvos make me want to get Protea, anyone that make the Cringe Podcaster mad is my friend

An interesting perspective and thank you sharing! I would add on that balance in limitations should also be practiced, for too many limitations could hinder or even momentarily break a sense of creativity.

Allad V literally disassemble valkyria bit by bit for zanuka project and hive controlled mesa. Parvos exploded warframe kill squad. One dude in ivaras story killed most of ivaras team, only her survived. Prison guard in Waverider was good going toe to toe versus yareli. That makes us, the tenno, kinda not-that-good in our job.
I know you've mostly stuck to video games, but with your comment about fandom hopping, I'm wondering if you would ever do a Lore 101 series on the Dresden Files? Or another good book series? Your video on the Helldivers was basically the final straw in me getting that game, but I'm wondering how you would do elsewhere?

Can't wait to get new 101 video. Hopefully sometime in the future we'll get a video about your colleague historian, Drusus Leverian! The new Leverian info is cool and there's a little easter egg in Dante's leverian for those who are paying attention to what was said. There's not a lot of info I could find but I think Leverian should get more attention. Some of my friend's didn't even knew he was there... in our codex. I always knew he was a cephalon like Suda or Simaris. His museum is like Simaris' onslaught, a virtual space.

The Entrati part will be the best one! It rounds up all the lore we had before into much more coherent story but also adds so much new things to discover and leads up to something really interesting. Hopefully DE will do everything as good as it gets, because if they do, it will be a huge win for them and those who love lore.

“I will look into any universe” 40k! 40k! 40k! All jokes aside I see inspirations in warframe from 40k all of the time and it would be cool to have someone familiar with both universes delve into the inspirations and stuff.
Absolutely! I will say it might be a bit before I cover 40 K though just because I know it is such a monster. Like I'm already familiar with some of the surface level stuff, but haven't spent much time digging into the knitty gritty which might be deeper than the warp.
@@corgthemighty That’s very understandable, as someone who has been into it for close to 12ish years on and off, it can be a lot. But there comes a point where you’re over a “hump” to say in 40k literacy and things get way way easier from there.
@@corgthemighty It’s different for everyone, but generally it’s once you know the basic structure of all if the main groups as well as basic terminology. Like the original primarchs and their chapters, and for terminology it would be that “gothic” style. And as a rule Xenos lore is 10x easier to remember because there’s just less stuff in general for them, chaos and imperial make up most of the main lore.
At some point certainly! I'm covering a lot of the larger topics first so that some folks have better background context before taking on some of the more niche things, but we'll definitely get around to it!
I wonder if youll touch up on the lore of the Guild knights from monster hunter, though I think its not much lore I think you might find it funny that their job is more than hunting monsters.

I actually watched Jacksepticeye's Undertale series way back when so I'm definitely familiar with the game and could definitely cover the lore someday! In terms of the fandom itself, as long as I can find at least a couple cool people to vibe and learn with, it'll be worth it!

I actually watched Jacksepticeye's Undertale series way back when so I'm definitely familiar with the game and could definitely cover the lore someday! (Sans definitely my favorite character too besides the depressed ghost and any of the dogs lol).
