I had the thought yesterday that, one of the reasons antiracism is bad is that, if we are not allowed to talk about the negative ways in which cultures differ, we're also not allowed to talk about the ways in which some cultures excel positively over other cultures. @@PJH13uh, a person who is universally criticized isn't necessarily doing a good job. Indeed, it's actually a good indicator that they are doing a bad job. Also, this journalist didn't ask good questions. They were clearly intended to be attacks, and missed out on asking about pros/cons, getting context for the beliefs, asking if there were ever situations where this might not be the best thing to do. There were very many better ways to have conducted the interview. I criticize her not for bias, but for doing an objectively poor job at journalism. We didn't get much information out of the interviewee. Most of the interview was just getting the lady to restate things she had already said, but in different manners. Questions of the "are you sure" kind are usually a sign of incompetence, especially when they are repeated with the clear intent to fish for a change in answer, rather than accepting what you were told and moving on as a good interviewer should do.
@@justhecuke I agree, it doesn't necessarily mean that they're good but it does generally disprove that they are a biased shill as she's been accused of being by many here. The interviewer got her to do that. Also bear in mind this is not the full interview; it's Dave Rubin's edited version
@@PJH13 you can be biased and be criticized by everyone... There's nothing about being biased that means people won't criticize you for it, even by "their" side, especially if "their" side is particularly activist since not being 100% for something is commonly seen as being biased. Personally, I saw bias and incompetence in this interview. The body language, tone, and progression of questions were all bad. When your questions have an unstated premise of "you are incorrect", it's not a good interview. The bias came from the questions as she was clearly laying a racism/nationalism trap by asking for specific cultures that were bad. Once you give a specific example, then discussion ceases and all that will happen is accusations of discrimination, bigotry, hatred, etc. I've seen this strategy a hundred times, so her bad faith was on blatant display for me. Because of human psychology, one of the best ways to get people to talk is to encourage them to continue, repeat some of what they told you, then ask for more details. You'll notice that this is what the deep, insightful interviews are like where interviewers really dig into how the other person thinks, why they think it, and what might change their mind.

Laura Kuenssberg is a respected BBC journalist that is accused by both the left and right of working for the other side; a sure sign she's holding both to account.
I'd also disagree that she didn't get information from Kemi - the original statement was very open-ended, it could be reasonable or it could be awful, but it needed clarifying.

Would you say that Kemi comes from a market dominant Christian Yuroba Nigerian minority as defined by the "The Triple Package" by Amy Chua? Other market dominant minorities would include Jews for instance. Are you worried that the global woke demonize successful minorities and ethnics?
@@AnAn___word salad much? 😂😂😂
@@Chris-nn3vu Which part did you not follow?
Go Kemi go! Pure common sense.
As a Brit I love Kemi a straight talking British woman ❤
Interviewer was so biased and reiterated the dig. She didn’t take the bait. What 😢a shining star she is. Fired the interviewer
Very simple, if you don’t want or believe in traditional British culture, move to a country that’s culture that meets your expectations and beliefs.
Why are people called bigots for pointing out a religion that appears to be protected, is bigoted and discriminates against gays, women and anyone who isn’t part of their faith?
I can't stand that word. It's when they can't say anything else.
I’m down for this talk, let’s question all religions though. The UK is a religious state. Christianity is also controversial. Both religions should be abolished.
@@J_ads2000if you’re against Christianity then you’re not a real Brit
@@d4v1doI think the comment means if you look at all the teachings, the older parts of bible, as in the old testament can be problematic. However, the followings of Christ are where the religion pivots to a very positive message. Religious extremism is bad as it takes the worst teachings, which are usually barbaric and tribal. Luckily the dominant practiced forms of Christianity e.g. love thy neighbour etc. are very positive messages for society.
@@d4v1doEh? I am British & hostiles to all three Abrahamic religions with their mad vain revengeful God .. Judaism is best as they do not want to convert me..Christians are ok as they have been tamed by Western Secularism. One will be hard pushedniwfays to go Nd a Christian who wants to follow the Bible command to stone their neighbour for working on the Sabbath.. Islam is worse as literally hundreds of millions of Muslims oppose freespeech, oppose women's equality, want apostates killed & homosexuality punished.
Just because something is controversial doesn't mean its wrong. As a White, Wealthy, Independent, Educated Female, Kuenssberg needs to be careful what cultures she wants to welcome. Its refreshing to hear a Politician speak the truth without fear. We need someone like Kemi Badenoch at the helm.
She's with the Zios.
Dont need her? Dont need you? Our souls land and language has been stolen from us! Ask you where your from and you know your ancstry! Ask me i dont know where im from? And as for multicultualism? Its utterly failed along with democracy and free speech? Theyre all dead as racism still remains in brittain and america, overtly and covertly your still colonialists and im still a slave in your world where your actions have always been as the devil this bible speaks of! You destroy the water, that you need to drink! And the air that, you need to breathe! And its clear to the wise that its in esau,s nature to self-destruct as we head towards world war three! And dont think im a part of you as a british born blackman who was hunted down daily by skinheads teddy boys and the national front just because im black? At age 12! Ive got scars and three holes in my abdomen to prove it! What do you say to me mow politician?
As a Nigerian immigrant, this has been my point all along. It’s mind bending to see how seemingly smart people depart so far from common sense and reality.
In my racially homogeneous but culturally diverse Nigeria, the conflicts and destruction that have occurred due to our differences would make your worst Western nightmare look like a vacation.
This is why I have voted for Trump since 2016. I will be voting for him again. I don’t want this country to turn to the one I fled.
Exactly why I’m a Nigerian conservative in the UK. I couldn’t flee Nigeria to vote the same madness in my refuge country. They think I’m mad to not be voting Labour as a ‘black’ person. But they never bother to ask why. They fail to understand the huge difference between ethnicity and culture, the the fact culture is a mindset.
Exactly
@@KufreOkonYou’ve not been here long enough to know you’re voting for the jews regardless of party and it makes zero difference.

Wow this women gets it 100%. Not about your skin colour or your faith. Its about your culural values and if they dont align with british values you are simply not welcome
As a Canadian, I'm pretty sure she is referring to Muslims or an abused woman who can't be free. Either way, the interviewer followed the woke guide perfectly. The clut trained her well. Amazing answers and great composure .
Way to go Lady!! Enslaving women is not good in any culture.
Right! They’re already busy making sandwiches.

I think she is our donald trump, i really hope she wins the leadership contest - im pleased she is a black woman as she seemjngly has the same common sense view as the rest of us and the fact she holds 2 eternity stones by being both black and a woman will make it more difficult for the woke brigade to call her racist and sexist. The UK really needs this sort of leadership right now
Clever , intelligent and articulate woman.
I assume you’re talking about Kemi Badenoch?
@@MrGraemeb2022 well it’s certainly not Rachel Reeves or Laura Kuensburg 😂
Kudos to her for speaking about the real issue with cultural differences. It’s not skin color it’s cultural practices.

My God, the BBC are such trash, only out to try to "catch out" people the dislike. The problem there was that Mrs. Badenoch is much sharper and brighter than the interviewer. 🤣
Well said Kemi for your insightful and calm answers!
The interviewer was after a 'gotcha' moment!
So glad that Kemi Badenoch is the Tory leader!
Kemi is fantastic.
No it's embarrassing. The party who created all the problems we all face in this country now telling us "the country needs them" 🤣🤣 do you not feel embarrassed?
She's totally right and knows how to bring her opinion forward, well done!
She’s 100% correct. Well said

Of course she is right in terms of traditional western values. However this is 2024 and those values aren't as prevalent as before, something that the Conservatives let happen. The West isn't confident of its values and has caused itself so much self harm.
I've never heard Laura Kunsberg (host) so quiet (and humbled) in an interview. Kemi for leader
Humbled? No. She is CONFOUNDED. She is dying to call her guest, a black lady, racist, but she knows she can’t. Paralyzed in a liberal hypocrite’s conundrum.
Unfortunately her party just lost the recent election - so it's going to be a few years...
@melhawk1352 you serious? She's pretty clearly pro Tory, she's talking to Badenoch with kid gloves on here. Look at how much harder she goes after Labour politicians.

@@themainmanbigtime is this your second account or something?
Hi Dave, I'm from the UK, and at this time, when we are in the tragic situation of which will be historical categorised as having the worst government with the worst primeminister in UK history. Kemi is an example of what has become so wrong with our politicians in such that she is incredibly patriotic, speaks her mind, uses facts, and common sense to justify her argument, equality not equity. These wonderful attributes seem to hold her back in modern politics. The fact that the BBC presenter is obviously against everything Kemi stands for shows how corrupt MSM is!
Kemi is a clever, bright & articulate woman who puts her points over very clearly.
It’s fine if a woman answers the door and suggest that you talk to her husband, it’s not fine if it’s that way because the culture demands it that way. If she has the freedom to talk to the person at the door and chooses not to is different than if it’s forced by way of culture
Exactly. Well said.
Biggie Kemi!
Legend! Big love here for our sister from the UK 🇬🇧 🙏
The host can't even look her in the eye. Yay, Kemi!
The future PM!
Why are they skirting around islamic extremism? Thats definitely who they're talking about? Why doesnt either acknowledge they're talking about illiterate Bangladeshis, women in burkas and other 3rd world cultures. Very strange they didnt use the word islam or muslim. Politicians and media are both pathetic and this is not particularly brave of kemi
because in the UK even talking about it on tv will result in a visit from the police if they dont like what you say
Also because the pernicious evil of cultural Marxism has at least partially taken hold , aided and abetted by useful idiots like Kuensberg.
In their newspapers, they say, "Asian," because otherwise they'd have to say Pakistani, and that would give it away. Even though the rest of the public already knows.
@barcodebattler2587 There are 2 things you are not allowed to criticise in the west: the Islam and Feminism. That sounds like a contradiction untill you realise feminism is actually anti-women. Since feminism radically changed society, the happiness of women has vastly decreased, as have the amount of happy families and mothers.
@@Tiasung Feminism has been subjugated to Trans Ideology
Her final comment is the key part for all legal economic immigrants. We left the place we grew up because we thought this place was better. UK is changing. And not necessarily for the better. That’s something this woke people don’t seem to understand. We are here because we love the culture, laws and values of UK. If you start mixing it with shitty backward culture, the people who can leave….will just leave.
