Ironically she then used actual dog whistle terms about 5 times in the next sentence
It's because they don't have any ideas of their own so they parrot/bastardise what the left say. They do it all the time.
The 10,000 national offenders were there during the last fifteen years. Didn't hear Jenrick complain then.
She is an engineer .. imagine!
Sorry politics joe ,but i had to fast forward this ,my stomach was churning with the two reprobates, and as for the questioneer the ultimate in wet blankets ,
She is really trying hard to hide her aggressiveness here
Aggressiveness, you say? Why is it that this particular expression has never been applied to a lighter skinned woman? Why exactly did you think she had it and was hiding it? That's how you know you have that r******* bias.
Absolute nutters, the both of them!
Now if Jenrick's hoodie had also said "And so are the IDF" on the back...
Every country attempted to colonise another country?
Which country did Ireland try colonise exactly? 🙄🙄🙄
Not true in fact even the name Scotland come from a 5th century invading tribe of Irish Gales called the Scoti who colonised Scotland until the 8th century.
Never even knew these two reform vote chasers were having a debate. Colony and Empire, I'd rather have a colonoscopy than listen to this.🤮🤮🤮🤮
4:36 who is sterilising children?!
It is insanity Kemi Badenoch can say these things and get away with it!
If Labour can sort the economy and the Tories keep rambling about this nonsense, then the Tories will be out for a long time!
Saying the British deserve praise for ending the slave trade is like saying a murderer deserves praise because they decided to stop killing.
Without punishment or reparations its still criminal.
1:44 - ah yes the age old “The British ended the slave trade” BS, mind you they ended the TRADE, not the practice. There are literally still ppl alive TODAY who are victims of the British Slave/Indentured system and it has caused ripple effects across the globe and through generations of people.
And to hear a black woman of all people proudly defend the British Empire’s oppression is so frustrating. Pretty much to say “Hey! I speak for all black people and the Empire doing all the fucked up things it did was a-ok cuz Hey! Industrial Revolution 🥴”
6:35 😂 Jenrick gaslighting, he's always on about Farage 😂😂
He wants to look like Farage but will never be as popular, hence Kemi will win
@@thurmanmermon4160 good, because Kemi will not fix the Tories, she's not even an Islander.
Wow! An engineer! Incredible stuff.... Ffs
We don't need an engineer obsessed with woke when our economy is FUBAR. Fixing the train when the tracks are broken is not the answer we need.
She's just Sunak in a frock, She answers every question the same way he did. BTW Jenrick, Britain was one of the last to abolish slavery, The Navy played a big part in helping slavery rather than stopping it.
What a diverse audience !
what do you mean? These white men came from all over the south of England
@@S10wGuY actually there are many reform voters up north, my Grandad being one of them 😂😂.
Did that host go to the Alan Partridge school of presentation
He's the finest they have at GBNews lol
@@drcommonsense1 it’s quite a low bar if 30p Lee or Fararge are the competition
Jenrick will win because I can't see the 80k Tory Members voting for a black person, even if she starts goose stepping and giving a stiff arm salutes.
How will your narrative change when she does win?
🤣You've got a lot to learn about human nature. Once she's chosen then #TwoTierKeir and his cronies are going to have a real fight on their hands.
@@DreamerBFC From your use of two tier Keir I guess I'm either answering a Bot or a member of the Master Race. Ok if she wins, and even if she goes so far to the right she declares herself an enemy of the people, do you think the Red Wall Reform voters will want her to rule their green and pleasant land? Don't bother answering Mr Bot or Adolf - I'm saying no more.
The number of Tory members thinking, “I like Kemi but I could never support a black woman” is the only reason Jenrick stands a chance
How dare you dog whistle our dog whistle. now watch me dog whistle
She never wrote legislation to formalise the rights of Trans persons and the duties of the State as Equalities Minister! Then she was very lazy as usual!
This whole talk about ending slavery, is like murdering someone, and then making murder a crime
Ending slavery, has anyone told some of those dodgy employers yet?
"the british empire ended slavery"
Yep, my school bully single-handedly ended bullying in school... by graduating.
The druggies upstairs ended drug use in the community... by dying.
I'm truly lost for words watching this😮💨
Generic Jenrick and the loon that is Badenoch. The bar isn’t even set. My goodness.
I would be happy with either as Tory leader because they are equally repulsive.
Erm she proper working class she worked in McDonald’s…
When she became an engineer she upped her game & became middle class…
Go figure…
Labour are laughing all the way to 2029 as it stands with these two clowns 🤡
She's far too easily pleased with her own smugness and misplaced certainty. She's also a touch sociopathic
Make an ideal tory leader.
Ticks all the boxes then.
Kemi talks about being British, I wonder whether she is aware that there will be many GBNews who will never accept that she is really British because her ancestors aren't British born!
Her parents are Nigerian and although she was born in London she spent her childhood in Nigeria and the US, returning at aged 16 due to the political instability in Nigeria at that time. She said to Parliament (in her maiden speech) that she is effectively a first generation immigrant.
I'm Irish and live in Spain and honestly I'm more British than her.
Honestly mate, you're really really not. But wish away.....
@@DreamerBFC Do you want my British Social Security number? Or maybe my NI number? Give it another 20 years and I can give you my British pension number too.
Just the same as Kemi then. 👍 Except she pays her income tax here as well as living here. And you don't. Happy Days 👍🇬🇧
@@ianh1247 She grew up in Nigeria and the US, I grew up in the UK. I paid income tax in UK for many years and retired early. Not exactly the same, but she claimed to be first generation immigrant in Parliament effectively denouncing her British birth.
I have vast British ancestry as Ireland was a part of Britain for a couple of hundred years, she does not.
I stand by my claim.
They also started the slave trade.
Heads voters lose , Tails voters lose .
saying britain abolished slavery is like saying russia ended communism! yes it may be true, but you are leaving out A LOT of relevant history!
Labour will be cheering that the Tories are defending private schools!
0:31 Count the number of Kemi Badenoch's blinks.
The 2 worst candidates
scrappings from the barrel
Oh Femi, I wonder what your parents feel about Reparations, our Colonial past, our rampaging around the world etc! I bet they felt gutted, listening to their daughter, doing and saying just about anything, in order to bolster up her chances of becoming Tory Leader! It's easy to ignore the fact that, Britain started diminishing, from the day, she started losing her colonies, full stop. She started losing prestige, power, wealth and her position in the world. Her foundations, might, power and wealth were based solely on her hold over the colonies. So it follows, since we profited, benefited from the Slave Trade, and colonies, we should pay Reparations. Not to worry, a day will come, when we will apologize unreservedly and also pay Reparations.
A Black woman defending Britain' past atrocities, in order to become Prime minister. Shows how guilty we feel as a Nation, since we need Femi, to whitewash our atrocities, so we can feel better about ourselves, Wow! For that, we might just make her Tory Leader, if not Prime minister.
Britain ended the Slave Trade, not because she was being humane, but for ulterior motives, full stop. Lincoln fought the Confederates, not to free the slaves, but to preserve the Union.
Femi dear, this sort of betrayal does not go unpunished. Even in this Debate, under all the stress of Treachery, your English Accent is unraveling. This betrayal of your roots, will eat into your soul, your being, and in years to come, you will wish, you never went down this road, the same road, that the likes of Candace, Scott, Kanye etc are on!
Irrelevant
7:27 "..or one of the first things I would do"
There's that Kemi who's careful in what she says that we were promised 🙄
Who broke this system - what a bunch of nutters.
Who said anything about taxpayers footing the bill for reparations. The families that profited are still wealthy and can afford to pay reparations
Robert Generic
Bloody hell would I vote for conservatives again ! No
The country is in a cost of living crisis, we are expanding food banks and warm banks. We have left Europe and not really joined CPPPPPTTTTPPPPPTTT (Vague Pacific thingy that no one really understands especially the bit where where we are vaguely half a frigging world away) Public services have been so under resourced that they are held together with hope and charity - neither of which are limitless resources. Healthcare, policing, probation, judiciary, education, utilities.. name a public service that isn't on the edge of meltdown
But none of this is important at the Student Union debating love-in that these guys are indulging in.
You have to be in-human to hate human rights.
Boasting about the abolition of slavery is like saying "we've stopped killing people now,so there's nothing to see here and we should be applauded ".
I’d have to be incredibly ignorant not to hate what my country was - it’s people like khemi that make me hate what my country is now.
Young children being sterilized? What the hell is she talking about?
She was off on a "foreigners do bad things" rant I think.
She's talking about hormone blockers. Despite previously being the equalites minister, she is one of the most anti-trans MPs.
@@ria.ethyria Its the puberty blockers which do carry a small risk of sterility. The problem was one of the Tories own doing as they were in charge of an under funded NHS that handed them out like candy because it was cheaper than carrying out full psych evaluations and organizing step-by-step support and therapy to ensure that transition is right for the patient and how to go about that with the least harm to them.
@@kevinsmarts9953 I know there is a risk but detransitioning numbers are less than 0.5% and most often due to societal pressure. Though she tries to imply the numbers are way higher than that.
I didn't know that about the Tories handing them out without proper evaluations - any medical decision should be properly informed and signed off; puberty blockers are no exception to that, but they shouldn't be banned altogether like Badenoch wants. So long as everyone is agreed about a drug and understands any risks or side-effects, I don't see the problem. Badenoch just hates transgender people.
“Every country” has tried colonising? That’s absolutely not true. Even if it wasn’t, the British Empire did it the most and committed genocide in places like Tasmania.
Yes I 'enjoyed' that line as well. Basically all countries have done it, and those that haven't still wished that they could have. The audience will have loved it though.
"Out of the countries that actually existed since the middle ages, Poland, Hungary, Austria, Croatia, Serbia, Czechia didn't colonize"
That's just in Europe.
Did she start going grey overnight or did she add a little whitewashing to it?
Race to the F’ing bottom more like.
Objectively, both US Republicans and Tories have put forward many bright, capable, and internationally respected leaders. If democracy requires at least two healthy parties, then surely the state of democracy has been damaged by the implosion of sound conservative representation.
I typically hate right wing politics but not always the politicians themselves (there are a couple), but the current crop in both Tory and Republican parties are rotten and need to be removed from those parties if normality and serious conduct can resume.
I didn't change my mind, I wouldn't vote for either.
The only ones teaching us to hate our country are the Tories, there is much I love about this country and none of it was because of the Tories and there are many things that I hate which was caused by the Tories.
"every country in the world in the past at one point or another either colonized or attempted to colonize another country." - seriously?
Slavery was abolished primarily for economic reasons not moral.or ethical ones, although those are the reasons we cite to make us look enlightened.
They seem nice
The British Empire created UK communities from every country we invaded which continue to provide magnets for migrants today, that and the deregulated economy the Tories also enthusiastically support.
Jesus Christ are these the best the tories can offer?
In fairness there aren't many of them left (thank heavens)
The youth are both being brought up to hate their country. The youth want their country to do better and do the right thing.
Preaching to the covet? Really quite funny if it weren’t so sad
So Badenoch knows lots of people who have taken their kids out of private school because of something that hasn't happened yet? Sure.
If these two is all they have, wow were scraping the barrel.
tory lies matter
You know I am in a different echo chamber to you lot because I agreed with every word of it!
Thankfully both of these candidates are the nail in the coffin for the Tory party.
Wait until it's between Kemi and Nigel and Keir on the ballot paper.... Boy are Labour in for a shock. Unless of course Sue Gray can rescue them. Oh wait......
we all know Kemi was the colonised and not the coloniser. Her recent ancestors got exploited by the colonisers!!!
