curly hair is a dominant trait, so the probability she at leat has a wave is pretty high
Yes it could be possible😁👍
While you are correct, dominant genes arent always more likely. For instance, have 6 fingers or toes on one hand/foot is a dominant trait but i cant say ive seen many people with it personally haha.

Curly hair isn't dominant, hair type is co-dominance, so is one parent has taught half and the other has curly, the child will have wavy hair, and wavy isn't curly

The daughter doesn’t really have straight hair. There was a bit of wave in there when she was sitting in the kitchen. Coming from a girl with actual straight hair (yet I thoroughly enjoy and am fascinated by curly hair videos!!)
She has straight hair- just with slight bumps. Coming from someone whom had straight hair as a kid... it was never fully straight but this isnt even close to wavy. Her hair didnt even get wavy from being wet. It's only like that because of letting it dry pinned up. Texture plays apart in if you have waves or not and straight fine smooth hair isn't it.

Lily Delane some people can have a combo of both. Especially when I was younger during puberty I had like one awkward bump and the rest straight hair, but now my hair is pretty wavy. It’s not an either or thing
@@howtopasstime true, my hair is like that. The very top layer of my hair is almost pin straight but the rest of my hair is a combination of wavy and curly (except the ends, I bleached the texture out oops)

Yes, after we finished it came close to a 2A wave but her hair is definitely straight. My hair was straight as well but when I turned 13 it started to curl, so who knows she might have curly hair later on in life. Thank you Julie Bruce!

Hair does change so much! My sister had pin straight hair growing up, but as she went into her teens it got way curlier and now as an adult she’s about 2c/3a. I had wavy curls as a child but now I’m a 3c. No one knew just how curly the two of us would be!
My natural hair is like her diffused hair, it was curly a kid but straightened out to waves as I aged I wonder if using this method could get me some curls back
Rachel You could try! You can’t get curl if you don’t have it but if you were born with curly hair it may. Lots of TH-camrs out there to help. Just try and see!😊

I mean, she did put curly hair products in her hair and use a diffuser, and only after she did that did some waves show up. Before when after she washed and it was mostly dry, it was pretty straight. So if it doesn't get some waves after drying or if it's not super frizzy, and theres no heat damage, she probably doesn't have wavy hair. Like when you braid a girls hair who has straight hair it gets wavy... so when you put products in it and crunch it and dry it while its crunched, your gonna get some waves from that, but that doesn't mean you have natural waves. I hope that makes sense.
@@Hope-si1kb if you look in the beginning, her hair has some wave to it. Some 2a/2b girls can appear to have straight, unruly hair when really its just a bit wavy
Isabella Williams she has straight hair, it just has bumps in it from probably laying on it. When her hair was wet ut was straight, she has straight hair not 2a or2b.
@@bruvrbruvr6525 I'm not saying she must have wavy hair, I'm saying she could. Also, lots of people in the 2 or some in 3 range have hair that is straight when wet. Hell, if i comb my hair wet it looks pin straight. When it dries, though, it always has waves and bumps, and it's frizzy. It's long, though, so the top gets pulled more straight. If i use a little gel and scrunch it in, suddenly i have wavy hair. Its just because when treated properly, wavy hair can be seen. Its different than hair with tight curls.
As a baby I had ringlets. When I was her age my hair was the same straightness as hers. Now my hair is very wavy. It’s possible her hair is wavy

I see a lot of people arguing in the comments about if the daughter has straight or wavy hair. I think it kind of looks like she has a mix of both. Her hair mostly looks like it is type 1, with a couple of 2a pieces. My hair does a similar thing, except it is mainly 2c with a couple of 3a pieces instead.

So cute!! By the way, instead of detangling with the denman brush, I would de tangle with a Wet Brush, then go in the the denman brush just to avoid hair breakage. Luv you guys!!
Rachel Cagwin yeah because she ripped through her hair with that brush. A denman can work for detangling if used gently and on the right hair. All I know is I straight cringed when she ripped through it to detangle it. So bad for the hair.

When I was about nine years old I was deeply frustrated by the fact that my hair was not like my mothers. She had gorgeous, shiny, thick hair, with the most beautiful dark curls. I had very thin (a ton of it, but thin) hair. So straight no elastic or bobby pin could stay in place for even five minutes. Dirty blonde (until I got under the sun, them BAM, withish blonde all around). That all looked boring to me, I wanted dark hair full of perfect ringlets.
So I obviously insisted a lot until my mom finally accepted to style my hair as she usually styled hers, for the sake of her mental health, I guess. Pretty much the curly girl method, that was it.
What we found out was that if there was any wave hidden in my hair, DNA or anywhere else, it was not willing to get out. I ended out looking like my hair was jus messy and... dirty. I was so upset about the texture (kinda hard at the beggining and then just somehow sticky) that I had to wash my hair again and just let it be.
So... Healthy straight hair doesn't curl with that method, in my opinion. You might get volume (for a shor time) and texture, that you may or may not like, but no actual curls.
Interestingly, though, damage caused by bleaching does relax curly hair but make straight wavy... So we all meet in the middle, somehow 😅

TXGA VM, having kids is one of the most rewarding things in life. Don't let an article on the internet scare you from that. Parenting is not easy but it's such a blessing! Two tips from a natural. 1) Brush from the tip to the root. Brushing should never hurt. 2) Invest in curl formers.

Looks amazing! I think all girls should try the cgm even if they ‘think’ it’s straight. Also acv isn’t recommended by dermatologists. It opens up the cuticle which messes up pH makes it frizzy and susceptible to damage.

Just a tip, the denman brush is not for detangling the hair.It is more of a styler to add definition to the curls.If you are going to do this method again I suggest that you detangle her hair with a regular detangling brush then put the products and then use the denman brush to define the curls.☺️😊

aah you have such long and pretty curly hair. i have super curly hair (obvously not in my really old profile pic lol) i never use shampoo i will use a co-wash and conditioner. then use my products and crunch ending with a gel then letting it get a gel cast then wait after a while i diffuse it then crunch my gel cast out.
