    I’m 25, I am 99% sure I am in stage 3 CKD. Protein in my urine for a long time, urine has been darker & foamy recently, back has been hurting a lot the past few days. I think this is all due to long-term kratom use. I have been through many ups & downs the past few days. I am very, very scared of dying so young. Changing my diet tonight. Coming off of kratom very rapidly. Wish me luck & pray for me please.

    My mother was diagnosed with stage 5 Renal Failure due to Hypertension 3 weeks ago. Her potassium levels and blood sugar levels were normal but her uric acid was a bit high. Her symptoms were itchy skin, bad breath, nausea, muscle cramp, and she was easily out of breath. After the diagnosis, she quit her job as a housekeeper, and we ensured that her diet be free from salt. She is now currently taking up plant-based diet and egg whites combined with oatmeal and white rice. Her muscle cramps, bad breath, and nausea got better, but she still has itchy skin. we plan to do another lab test to see if her creatinine levels are getting lower. btw. her creatinine was more than 1500. But the doctor was surprised that she was still active.

    How come doctor's don't talk to us about our kidneys when they see decline? I just discovered I have stage 3 kidney disease by reading through my take home paperwork which is what brought me to this video in the first place. I have never been told anything about my kidneys. My doctor just put me on omeprazole. I have learned so much today and I will definitely get the book. Also subscribed.

My mother died of a stroke but she was in her 70s it all is kidney related as she had started dialysis 6 months prior and development a fast heart rate. Iv changed my diet drastically. What really annoys me is the drs here in the UK only made big deal out of my gfr when it got to that number. Why didn't they warn me when it was in its 80s of 90s.

After a 24 hour creatinine clearance sample, I had an egfr of 73 (up from the original 63) and a creatinine clearance of 78, which I was told is low. I’m ignorant to these numbers. I was told there was no protein found, but there was trace amounts of blood. Other than that, my primary doctor has left me in the dark for another appointment in 6 months. It’s really frustrating

      that's because his goal is to get you on the dialysis machine. cheree alfred too. if i were you guys i would start downing liters of water per day and focus on two supplements: baking soda and niacin. take both daily and control your salt intake. discard your physicians and nephrologists. they're not acting in your best interests trust me.

      You can order Dr. Rosansky's book through your local bookstore (great to support local businesses) or from Amazon at amzn.to/3dL8ckX
      For your son's diet, it's best to work with a renal dietitian who can customize your sons dietary needs with a focus on quality of life and maintaining his kidney health as long as possible.

I know that sounds like a long way off, but it's been their target and they have made great progress and are still right on target. You can see that interview at www.dadvicetv.com/artificial-kidney

    My doctors told me I have to think about kidney dialysis, so they have started first part of the fistula.
    I suffer from dehydration most of my life. Even though I keep informing my doctors who seem to be ignoring me.
    As for coming off kidney dialysis they maintain I can never come off it once I start it, until transplant or death.

    What about cranberry juice

    • @DADVICETV
      @DADVICETV  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Cranberry juice will not impact your kidney function. There is some data suggesting cranberry juice may help with UTI's in the bladder (which is in your pelvic region well below your kidneys). Be careful though, many cranberry juices are loaded with sugar which can be bad for you. Cranberry's themselves can be part of your renal diet, but they are not going to do anything special for your kidneys.
