- The Supreme Court had asked the State Bank of India to furnish details about electoral bonds by March 6, upon which SBI sought time till June 30. The SC will hear SBI's plea today.

I am not for chandrasud because he gave Governor of Tamilnadu to bow down for nothing, though sud knows that in pomudis case sud gave a wrong verdict.

I fail to understand when these esteemed judges are so good at their jobs then why don’t they feel the need to reform the appointment process in judiciary, why only a handful families (CJIs family included ) hold the top positions . This is the worst kind of nepotism and the funny part is nobody says anything in media because MILORD can charge them with contempt of court .

SBI argument is valid because when they have come with electroral bonds, it was promised that secrecy will be maintained. So if they reveal the information they might get sued. SC judges saying we are the highest court who will sue that is such a halo argument. Given they himself keep reverting their own decisions 😅

The State Bank of India is liable to keep all the information confidential related to the purchaser. In no circumstance the bank is allowed to share these details with any person. "The only exception to this clause is when the details are asked by a law enforcement agency or the court of law."
Read the last line. SBI is bound to provide information to law enforcement or court of law. And since Hon'ble SC has declared EB as unconstitutional, matter of confidentially does not raise.
@@hassanggyati But it does not say that information would be provided to the public if I have understood correctly. We generally assume donators to be evil, but that is not true I believe. It may not be in their best of interest if such information is made public.
