FIXED MINE BY REMOVING CM0S BATTERY FOR 5-6 MIN, REMOVING STATIC WHILE GPU IS INSERTED BY PRESSING DOWN THE POWER BUTTON FOR 30 SEC AND A LOT OF PRAYERS!! THANK GOD Edit: For a full explanation, I disconnected everything first. By that, I mean the keyboard, mouse, display port, usb cables, supply to the system, and etc. Next, I removed the CM0S Battery for 5-6 minutes to drain the static electricity that was probably messing with my newly installed GPU at that time. Then, I placed the battery again and connected every cable. After all that, I turned on my pc and it finally displayed. Also, it helps if you have some knowledge about BIOS in setting up main display, since in some cases, the display will get rerouted to your alternative display (your display port is connected to your GPU but the BIOS is configured to your iGPU or vice versa, resulting to a no reception). If this doesn't work, well maybe because your RAM wasn't plugged all the way through or you have a defective RAM stick. Happened recently to mine as well.

I think you missed the most likely issue that you would check first. Most new monitors have more than one connecter type for the computer display like HDMI or Display Port. If your new build uses a different display port than your last build then you need to use buttons on monitor to change the port that is displayed on the screen. If you used HDMI, for example, on your last build and then changed to Display Port, you would need to cycle the button for changing monitor display to that port.

What if I have some issue like this, when I turn on my PC it would got black screen like this but after several minutes it would finally boot up. Now while PC is on for a few hours, there would be unexpected "no signal" and no sound (I'm not sure if this no sound, or it's completely stopped any works on PC). But when I look at my PC everything is still on, CPU fan, LED's, Cooling Fan. Idk how to fix this issue, In have cleaned my RAM, reset CMOS, resetting my windows, Upgrade my BIOS, nothing happened. Can faulty RAM be the source of this issue? The issue is most of the time appear unexpectedly when I'm clickin on something
Hi all, I hope you guys can help me. So, on my old PC gaming computer I was having no display monitor signal at times, maybe roughly 2x a month or so, at first I thought it was just because I had an old pc (4-6 years old & old pc monitor), I would restart it multiple times and the monitor would finally turn on after restarting or shutting down the computer, but now, I recently bought a brand new PC and brand new monitor and I'm having the same issue so I'm starting to think it has to do something externally. Any suggestions or thoughts? Thanks! Happy Holidays! I've checked the wires on the monitor and behind the computer, and everything looks solid.
Can you try a different video cable? Sometimes they can go bad which can cause these types of problems. Its hard to say exactly what's wrong. It can be the monitor, the monitor's video port, or the cable.
I bought used RTX 3070, it was working fine for like 3 hours, I did slight undervolt and lowered temperature a bit (max was around 64 celsius) and after I turned off my PC it won't turn on again, just black screen. I can hear sounds from desktop and from games, but the screen is black, I tried 3 different monitors, 3 different cables, 3 different setups, same problem. I connected PCs with team viewer and I can install driver for RTX 3070 from other PC, it recognizes the card and works fine on other PC over team viewer, I can play games, temperature is fine, fans are spinning, but on my screen is just black. I switched it with RX 6700 XT and is working fine now, but still want to know what's happening with RTX 3070, any suggestions? Thanks

Bro u the GOAT. Can’t believe I hastily installed the ram backwards after adding an nvme. I was legit freaking out thought I broke my gou 😭😤😩🙏🙏
Backwards?? Isn’t it built to go in one way
Question, is it possible to lose display to your monitor after changing your frame rate settings from 60hz to 75hz on your p.c? Because I did this after I install my curve monitor.. it was able to apply with out a problem but it won’t connect after I restart the p.c?
BRO THANK YOU SO MUCH. I was literally trying everything man to no avail, reset the cmoss and BAM!
your video helped me get my pc going, THANK YOU!!
Thank you, the round battery replacement fixed it for me.

CMOS reset saved the day! Thanks man
Hey so I was upgrading and I just got a new power supply and I was putting it into my pc, did everything correctly and when I turn it on my pc turns on but nothing displays. My keyboard and mouse also don’t receive anything. Usually when I turn it on I have this light that turns off for 1 second and then back on indicating it is booting but now when I turn it on it doesn’t do that anymore it is just constantly staying on. I did everything in this video and still nothing happens, I even put my old power supply back in and the problem still exists. Do you know anything else I can do?
I tried everything except one thing. The cord was bad. There was that light green colored dry mold that grows on outdoor park drinking fountains around the metal inside my HDMI cable on the little gold prongs... Change the cable and it worked. Sheesh...
I’ve had the same PC for a while now and my issue started when I tried to update the graphics card and my PC froze. And now device manager is telling me that my GPU is all good to go. However, when I actually plug the display adapters into my GPU, all I get is a black screen.
Had a black screen with the 4090, the cmos worked.. 💪
Having same problem my pc is really new like 2weeks very frustrating
Ik I got my pc today was playing for like 20 mins on it and it crashed and wouldn't connect back to my TV so irritated!!!
@@seancafferty9241 turns out mine had a broken ram. they replaced it and now is running again
Dude tysm I had to take the battery thing out my pc and put it back in bro god bless u.

worked on it for multiple hours and you helped me the first solution thank you
Could it be not enough power? I have a psu 520w (very loud when on and was old and needed cleaning) that powers on my 1050ti but had no signal for 3060ti (new in box). Should I try a better new psu or could it just be the cmos issue with the new gpu? I am getting a new psu but I am going to be stressed about it before its delivered.
I have a question my sons pc i7 2600 with a gtx 970 i upgraded power supply from 500w to 850w and went from 970 to 3060 i can get into bios but after that it doesnt load/bootup any ideas why? Ive seen other i7 2600 with 3060 gpus on youtube so idk whats going ok any help appreciated
Hi Just getting back to my channel so sorry if this took a while to get back to. This sounds like a bios reset might be the trick. The PC might still be registering the legacy hardware and getting confused when trying to post and sees new hardware installed. I would try removing the CMOS battery for a clear and then look at Bios Reset and restart. Let me know how you get on.
Removing CMOS battery method works for me but on a fresh start after shutdown the problem will raise again . No display but CPU and GPU fan is spinning. So need to remove and place CMOS battery on every start. Any solution for this ?
ty so much bro i spent so much time to find the problem and at the end it was one ram stick which was causing the problem
does it need to have 2 RAMS to make the PC works?
What if software?
Custom wind 10 pc connects to a samsung 4k tv not a monitor. Tv has no pc port - hence an HDMI ADAPTER.
Works sometimes but often says "no signal". I keep on all night and apparently relates to the problem.
Thank you so much bro. You helped me fix my PC. 🙏🏻🙏🏻
You helped me so much! I was trying to move RAM around and that was the problem. Thank U! :D
Thanks
I don’t have a graphics card, could that be the reason of getting no display?
If your processor doesn't have integrated graphics, then it may be
When vendor assembled it in shop it worked but when i brought it home it couldn't start...☹
It was the ram for me, thank god you made this video everyone else had me tryina press reset and a whole bunch of buttons.
bro the thing is my pc boots with the onboard graphics and when i plug my hdmi into the gpu it loads up windows but there is no display....when im playing games it would go black but i can still hear the game in the background playing but the display is off.. some people said it could be the PSU not giving enough power to my gpu so i dont know and i need my system for my work
U remember RENOL from Provo but what happened after a bio change
When resetting the cmos do I keep the pc psu plugged in and leave it on? Or should I turn pc off the. Reset it
My pc boots up I can see the asrock logo after a few seconds The display goes off, the computer is working fine, the keyboard mouse too, after I disconnect and connect the VGA cable, the display shows up,sign in(windows),I think it's a cable or monitor issue, what else could be the issue
You’re a G thank you stressing I couldn’t trade today but got it working 🙌🏽
How you getting it working it was just working on my other tv
Hey man where did you study or learn how to build them
A lot of people who build and fix PCs are self-taught. You don't usually go to school to learn how to build PCs or how to fix them.
Just done all the things you said. not it works! thank you!
You're godlike bro. Can't believe it was really the RAM sticks lol thanks so much
it was just working dis morning I just open my glass for my pc start to touch thing then the first thing pop up was American mega trends now black screen help me
I don’t really know where to start, I’m on a high end gaming PC my friend built in August 2020. I bought it from him in December. I had this problem a couple times already and fixed it just from unplugging and replugging DisplayPort a million times. But it always comes back :( But I doubt it’d be my 2080 Super or the Ram so I don’t know 😭😭😭
@OpGucciGamer 1 I got it fixed ty :)
@@gideonengelhard3919 what'd you do to fix it?
@@akkowo my friend who I bought the PC from found that the GPU inside was actually slightly detached... I didn’t wanna open the PC cause I didn’t wanna mess it up. But make sure the GPU is connected well, and I also reinstalled windows
I installed a stick of ram..about a year ago..making it 16 gb. Ran good after I changed setting. Now, it won't come on. No beeping.. powers on, can hear the fans run and all. I take out one stick..it comes on and cycles a few times..then turns off again. I put the second stick back in.. it came up with the bios where I can change settings...then it shut off again.. now back to the same issue. It's a pre built. This all started during an update install last night. Any help, will be appreciated
