Thermoelectric Generator | Science Experiments

Tec peltier module is amazing device that can produce small amount of voltage when is heated from one side and cooled to other side.
I got it from ebay:ebay.to/37uw2Ot
Scienece experiment with tec peltier module,As you can see on the video
you can easy make your own electricity generator for school projects.
Easy to build,you need only 2 metal containers,in one put cold water and in other hot water,between them place the tec peltier module.

I knew you would experiment with it 🤣🤣🤣 I use it to cool my solar modules. When they get hot they generate enough energy for a small water pump to cool the other side of the Peltier elements. The warmer the solar modules are, the faster they are cooled 😎

i have a folding wood stove for camping with a solid ash pan on the bottom. do you suppose if i placed one or two of these on the bottom of the ash pan, with the heat sincs in a container of water, that it would produce enough charge to recharge my devices such as my phone and camera in the field while i have a fire going?

Sure, u need alot of peltier and good heating and cooling. I tryed it with candlelights and water cooling

Sure its possible. In fact it is used in oil n gas offshore well platform where i used to work by arranging a lot of thermocouple in series and able to genereate 12 vdc by burning natural gas from well although the efficiency isn't as good as ICE generator but quite remarkable of how simple the system are without any mechanical moving part

What would happen if you used dry ice for the cold side?

and if you used a blow torch on the other side, I think you would get at least 3 volts but the Peltier module will melt, it generates electricity from the temperature difference
