@@ZZ-jd6vx … wait, that’s a democrat city? I’ll avoid them as much as I can.
I’ve escaped 3 democrat cities, moving into peaceful republican cities, but then idiots who also escaped democrat cities over the turmoil, they continue voting democrat, turning beautiful peaceful (republican) cities into the SCHITT HOLE they created and escaped over the crime and ridiculous taxes.
It’s a fact, all the turmoil in America only happens in democrat cities, including all the mass/ school/ drive-by shootings.

I wish you would start with the annual cost to live at each community.
Since all of these communities require upkeep, maintenance cost, And just a monthly social security check minus medical bills will not be enough to live in any of these communities.
Many retires do not have other incomes.

Don't forget before you move into a deed restricted community to read 30 pages of paperwork as far as rules and regulations before you sign on the dotted line it's great to have the pool the pool tables and all the amenities but you pay for that every month that's called HOA. Fees..depending on what community possibly $400 to $600 a month... if you want to paint your house you have to get permission from the board if you want to plant a tree or bushes you have to get permission from the board if you want to change your driveway out permission from the board if you want to put up a privacy fence you can only put up one kind as far as getting a shed that's a big No-No... as far as the prices go as a realtor I can see why you're withholding that... at the end of the video and say nothing...she walks into a sample house with granite countertops stainless steel appliances... if you were to get a new house you would probably get white appliances cheap countertops bottom of the line carpeting... and cabinets but if you want to upgrade by the time you leave a $200,000 house now you're up to $300,000... don't be a hater tell the people the truth... also they're building condos all throughout Florida not too far from this video three bedroom 2 bath $40,000 and 2bedroom 2bath for $30,000.... if you purchase a house in The Villages they go up to a Million dollars... do your research before moving into Paradise do you really want to start working at 60 years old or 65 years old all over again....Plus if you live in the middle of the state no matter what direction you go 2 hours to the beach if you're a beach person like me you don't want to live in the middle of the state... for example I live in Melbourne Beach Florida I'm only a couple minutes away from the beach but 10 minutes away if you go west you can buy a brand new house 3500 square foot or smaller with pool and hot-tube all screen in with a three car garage for $400,000 that's if you love the beach to me what's the point of moving to Florida if you're not near the beach.... I'm close to Orlando Airport Disney World Daytona Beach Miami and I can walk to the beach.... living in the middle of the state is like living in Kansas think before you buy...You're so Welcome...😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎

We moved to Vero Beach. We bought a condo for 140k (1500 sf) a one car garage and a screened in patio. HOA $330 monthly. There is a Tennis Club on the property with a gym and small pool, to join is an extra $165 monthly which is optional. Shopping is great, traffic isn’t bad, and the beach is 10 min. from my door. Life here is great!

I looked at a number of properties in Florida and Arizona and I noticed plenty. This is what I noticed. There is no real diversity if residents. It is and it is very obvious very lacking in even minimal diversity. There is a majority resident and that is an understatement. Everything is geared for as thus woman is talking about. Fun and games. There is virtually nothing that addresses getting old. Nothing. You must drive everywhere. Medical is lacking as communities are a distance from quality care, especially specialist. So be careful choosing because the retirees is nothing more than a cash cow for these areas of the US.

You should tell the average life expectency in these communities. I like the idea, as we do not have these concepts (isn't it almost racist not allow under 55rs?). Anyway, I am that age and ride a XT1200Z with 180km/h through pouring rain and you show me shuffle board or billard and all of a sudden I feel old. Are these things not elephant cemeteries? I envy you this oportunity to live, but for me? I would love to live with over 55ers but not with all the additional stuff, more in the sense of being free to travel and come back home to a place inside a well maintained area where educated people greet me. Not coming home to loneliness but coming home.

I’ve been retired in Florida for 5 years. It’s great but only if you “snowbird.” I live in Long Island for the summer. Florida is intolerable in the summer. That said, if you are going to be permanent in Florida, you must be on the coast. Btw, Port St. Lucie is awful.
