O Rei, both. I received a cash wrap in carbon fibre. There were visible marks on the carbon fibre that I could get my nail in and feel and see them. Their logo elastic piece was not fitted very well and misaligned. I emailed them and added photos as well. I got a reply back from the CEO who said “it’s acceptable quality”, so inside 24 hours, I had received and shipped it back. His attitude by email was atrocious. AS if marks and a scratch on the carbon fibre is “acceptable quality”. I had a refund and won’t buy anything from them again.
Also from Trove, they sell replacement elastic cardholder for the Cash Wrap Wallet, it costs around 8£ and I found out that it can be used as a standalone wallet
Hi Mark, I just came across your reviews. Have you reviewed many Australian made wallets at all? Looking at getting a new wallet, and would like to support local if you've come across some nice ones.
Hi Matthew! Great question! We have 4 which we haven't reviewed yet, the first is from Tailfeather wallets, we have the Finch, the second is the James Watson, their Bantam wallet, then Raphael Quality Goods, and finally "The Wallet" from Farrah.
@@walletopia I ordered the Raphael lean wallet about a week ago, look forward to getting hold of it. Looks perfect for what I was looking for, thanks for the recommendation!
Yes. I just tried it with a note (UK £5, which the smallest of them) but it would go in there fine. I do use that pocket for coins so tend to put notes as per this video.
I have a simple policy on coins, because I give them to the increasing number of homeless people or leave the coins in the tip jar. I prefer to pay wirelessly anyway, not only due to Corona. I am nit sure if there is a market for such a wallet even though the price point is not too unreasonable, but a coin wallet for 30 pounds? Also, and this is my purely biased own opinion, what are these card pulltabs all about? If your motorical skills require it, why would you fiddle with coins to begin with? I would pay 5 pounds for this wallet and it should find a market. Bzw, Made in Tombukistan (enter a real country here) you should never be an excuse. Wallets are supposed to make you want to use them as often as you can against your frugal nature. :)
@@walletopia exactly. When. You think about it, nobody needs a wallet. It's purely discretionary. I know people who carry their money in Ziploc bags. The outside appeal of a wallet is minimal, because you only feature your wallet at a point of sale. It all comes down to the appeal to the owner. I started to make my own wallet, because it allows me to make exactly what I like. I carry 14-16 cards (no store cards or so because I have them on my phone), cash, but I try not to use it if possible, no coins. I think Corona will make people rather carry less cash and coins in the long run. I dont like anything that is rigid, because you can't comfortably carry it anywhere other than your bag. In the end, for me it's leather due to versatility and haptics. When you hand stitch textiles, it doesn't look good, but when you hand stitch leather it's a different ball game. The price when you buy it? Who cares, you don't NEED it anyway so you should at least enjoy it. :)
QOTD: ⚡I've had some mixed feedback on TROVE products and customer support, what's been your experience?
You know my feelings Mark. If you wish I can put it all here. I think it’s atrocious. (Edited to remove bad language)
Richard Barnes What’s atrocious, you mean? The products or the customer service? Why?
@@Richard_Barnes I know, this was recorded prior to your experience. It's all rather unfortunate, really, it shouldn't be hard for Mihn to address.

Richard Barnes Got it, thanks!
Quite feature-rich for such a small wallet.
As always, thanks for the thorough review, Mark! 👍
My pleasure!

Correct! We have a comparison of the three TROVE wallets coming up and you are correct!
At last the final Trove. Great video Mark, I've been expecting this one 😃
Glad you enjoyed it
I swear until the end of the video I thought they named it the Coin Daddy. Thinkin marketing is getting wild!
Very well could be me slurring my words, I'm doing that more the older I get and I have to be very conscious of my pronunciation. :)
@@walletopia Nah you sound great. I'm just losing it over here lol
Out of all the TROVE wallets which one is the best in your opinion.
Amazing wallet again from trove😁
Love the title 😃
😅

@@Matt-bj8ct You bet! Let me know how it performs and if you like it.
Can you also insert cash in the coin pocket ?
I mean no one's gonna arrest you.

@@RichardOliver thank you !
Can you put money in the back if u dont want to put coins there?
What’s your pen ?
It's the Pelikan M816 Golf Limited Edition, fairly difficult to find.
I m not sure about cash, it can fall out
I would put it in the back instead of all of the coins there

Haha, agreed, a wallet should sell you on it's capabilities and then price isn't a problem...that's the value exchange 👍
