You’re not kidding, Giorgio is adventurous, an aggressive hitter and entertaining. On the other hand her opponent is a pushing bore. A fully fit Giorgi would have destroyed her.
@@lebbeus I don’t deny she hits a good length and positions her shots well but it just isn’t pleasing to watch. I know pro tennis is about winning but I’d rather pay money to see Giorgio play the way she does and lose than watch Su-Wei win. Nothing wrong with her backhand but oh my Lord I hate her forehand.

I love how she uses a variety of shots with accuracy, angle and control to win points, tennis is so much more than just hitting power from the baseline. It bores me to death if I watch two baseliner hitting hard to each other, nothing more than just expanded table tennis. We need those lobs, slices, net game, half volley to make tennis a complete game
A very biased filming and reporting way of covering this match...mostly giorgi accolades on her every good points and virtually none of Hsieh good points yet Hsieh magically seems to win despite the commentator practically ignoring her....
Does the commentator really think that just saying “brilliant” and “nicely put away” actually adds anything to watching this game? Can you get someone who actually provides interesting analysis of the point?
I regret this camera angle. It shows such an elongated court that we don't get any idea of the challenge that any particular shot presents to the player. Because _all_ shots look like ridiculous angles. So you give up imagining yourself playing the points, and passively wait to see who wins each point. Unfortunately that's boring. :^/
Absolutely biased highlight. Judging by the winning shots shown, Giorgi won with ease. Should not repeat such a biased highlight in the future, it’s misleading the viewers.
