Shinobu Tsurubushi come on. Make some lies about Hsieh. Oh wait you won’t. You just create lies about Serena and bash her under every comment section because she’s the greatest of all time
I didn't know grunting wasn't allowed in tennis. That takes out 75% of the players. People who complain about grunting in tennis should really just watch another sport like golf, basketball, etc...
Hsieh must have the best hands and ball control in all of professional tennis. Droppers, lobs, corner-to-corner groundies, well-placed serves, incredible defense, sliced approaches, and masterful volleys. The only way to beat her is to blow her right off the court (like Muchova did at the 2019 U.S. Open). If you can't do that, she will run you all over and will drive you insane. Simply awesome! One of my fav players to watch. And Giorgi, or course :-)
@@hemantunde132 True, it did go to a 3rd set tiebreaker, but I was there in person, 10 ft away from the players, for the entire match. Although Hsieh's touch and control are incredible, Muchova often overpowered Hsieh, esp in the first set. She used her power to win.
Exactly - you have to keep the ball away from her entirely, and put her away with power like Serena did in 2016 AO 2R. If not, it's going to be a long match.
And that it's not all just about power. Imagine having a drop shot as good as Su Wei Hsieh. Or a lob. Or a volley. Or to be able to move and cover the court that well. Imaginative, creative tennis.
Shinobu Tsurubushi Radwasnka was pretty frail and skinny herself. Especially towards the end of her career. Hsieh has been around for a while and done pretty well in doubles at least. Radwanska’s game was beautiful but she didn’t achieve a ton in her career. Don’t try to take shine from Hsieh :)
Man, I love this girl! She toys with her opponents and it's simply brilliant! I love that she's this petite girl with not much power but boundless amounts of finesse and feel. She picks apart the power players with her incredible artistry. Her game is so entertaining to watch.
Hsieh is just amazing and unorthodox. That the reason why her HLs are all so watchable and educative. We don't need the perfect body shape or be muscular to enjoy tennis. #SuweiStyle #TeamHsieh #SuBarbDoubles
"perfect body shape" you mean like Hsieh, slim and elegant. She could put the tennis racket to the side, put on some nice stiletto heels - and confuse us all on the runway. She is gorgeous!
Like a breathe of fresh air after watching the baseline bashers for the past 2 decades. I love how she forces them to come forward where they are least comfortable.
Is there any other players like her ? I'm new to tennis and she's so fresh n entertaining to watch. I like the way she controls the ball. She completely changed my mind that tennis is all with power n stamina.
I've been following her career since the Juniors. I am glad she is finally getting noticed by an wider audience. Her game is elegant but super high risk. She hits lots of winners but also more errors, sort of like a power player but carving out winners in a very different approach.
The overwhelming impression of this compilation is of opponents manically running about the court while Hsieh strolls to where the ball is going to be, waits for it to get there and then plays a winner! Great stuff.
I love how at 1:02, she hits the ball while it is still on the rise. She doesn't wait for it to reach the peak of its bounce. And at 34, she is still moving incredibly well. Her playing style has preserved her body, perhaps.
To me she symbolizes what tennis is all about. What a pleasure not to have to watch woman after woman use just one weapon (brute strength) She uses so many techniques I love watching her play. The best.
A total delight to watch on the court. Plays tennis like chess as if she is anticipating the next four or five shots and has a strategy already mapped out in her mind. And the drop shots OMG!!
Hsieh getting the recognition she deserves. Kind of took Aga's place as a fan favourite. Just wondering how cool can be watching those 2playing each other. I want more 6 minutes are not enough
Hseih and Federer have the same 'calm and deadly' aura. I would be so scared to play against her. She is extraordinary! I want to learn how to play her kind of tennis.
Hsieh dictates. Other players react. ( Hsieh reminds me of Martina Hingis....drop shots, lobs, crafty skills....) great to watch. I love the way she thinks outside the box. I hate the power hitters who only knows to hit it hard or hit it harder. You can actually see Hsieh thinks each point!
Fabrics Santoro of Women’s tennis. So nice to watch her and I rarely watch women’s tennis (the day’s of Novotna, Graf, Sabatini) are no more. Zero creativity in the women’s game. But she adds an awesome dimension to the stereotypical of 99.5% of today’s women. Great. She and Radwanska (retired) are awesome
Creative, skillful, smart, elegant... by far the most watchable WTA player we have today.
Shinobu Tsurubushi come on. Make some lies about Hsieh. Oh wait you won’t. You just create lies about Serena and bash her under every comment section because she’s the greatest of all time
Tennis at its finnest touch and artistry. Beautiful to watch. I dont care she wins or loses. She entertains in every poin.
The most effortless player no matter who she face
Exactly, do doubt, Su Wei!!
Yes, protect her at all costs please.
Su Wei might not be number one , but she is number one to watch. So clever. No grunt, no groan tennis. So enjoyable. Hope she has a long career.

@@saltnugget thx!
Similar game to mine learnt from an old friend Nga from Wellington drop shot lob Combo can be very annoying especially on a sunny day

Muchova didn't blow her off the court, that game went to distance with third set tiebreaker.

Su-Wei sorcery. Singularly the most intriguing player on the women's tour.

She is so underrated! Her playstyle is unqiue and just so good! Love to watch every match from her! Go Su-Wei
One of my favorites! She will go down in the history of tennis as one of the most memorable players, ever.
WTA should promote Su-Wei !!! She is a talented player
More, more, more please! Of her, please!❤
I love her! She is so simple . Not hitting hard and adding extra power. Simple but significant 🔥❤️ love you
Like a breathe of fresh air after watching the baseline bashers for the past 2 decades. I love how she forces them to come forward where they are least comfortable.
I can watch her play for hours, with a grin on my face. So smart, with velvet touch.
I knew her and immediately fell in love in with her style in Australia 2018. Been a fan since then. Wish her the best

Martina Hingis ( Switzerland ) back in the day.
Fabrice Santoro (from the past) on the men's side. Plenty of videos of him on TH-cam (with good reason); well worth a look.
She is not a machine. She is very human- creative, skilful,... Great to watch her.

oh wow I just discovered Hsieh. She is truly amazing player. Who would have thought you don't need strong shots and big muscles to win?
Hseih puts the ‘fun’ back in tennis.
I've been following her career since the Juniors. I am glad she is finally getting noticed by an wider audience. Her game is elegant but super high risk. She hits lots of winners but also more errors, sort of like a power player but carving out winners in a very different approach.
I hate when announcers call her shotmaking “cute”. Badass is more like it!!!
Exactly. She's a thinker. So refreshing in tennis since racquet technology made the game so one-dimensional.
6.5 minutes of Hsieh highlights?! I'm not complaining... 😊
Strength: average, stamina: average, shooting skill & creativity: Legendary.
Strength-wise she's probably below average
Just imagine how amazing she’d be with more power, speed, and stamina

Hsieh is the MOST UNDERRATED player in tennis history (men or women).
Yes! I love her artistry and the variety.
WTA loves Su wei
"Lovely shot!" It's a great observation by the last commentator. Good point. Hsieh is amazing. Her conexion and harmony on the court are spectacular.
To me she symbolizes what tennis is all about. What a pleasure not to have to watch woman after woman use just one weapon (brute strength) She uses so many techniques I love watching her play. The best.
Finally, a reason to watch tennis again.
She gave the perfect way to measure the court.
She's like the smartest player on tour, even smarter than male players, who mostly just hits hard on the baseline . .
Amazing accuracy
Ah, this just makes me miss Radwanska. Kudos to Hsieh for her masterful play.
Wow Hsieh .. tx wta to bring us and put Hsieh in your special Highlight for 2019
Hsieh: Let me just carve the crap out of this ball.

One of a kind. Magnificent tennis delivered by the Taiwanese champion.
Hsieh didn’t need a towel after that last shot, she’s already cool!
hope she wins a grandslam

Hsieh and santoro....the magicians of tennis
It's like she's just trolling opponents. They are hitting the ball and running as hard as they can and she just stands there and is like "boop."
What a treat. Great finesse and touch.
Watch hsieh doubles. She's gotta be best volleyer on tour, both wta and atp.
