      Your shorter videos addressing specific questions are truly appreciated. Many thanks to both of you for your time and effort to help us. However, I'd find it even more helpful if you could please post the links for videos you reference in the description box. Sometimes I find it difficult to locate related videos mentioned because there are so many available on this channel (that's good!). Just thought it wouldn't hurt to ask in case it might help others too. Thanks again for all you do!

      Hi, is it ok to take collagen supplements if i have ckd?

  • @therealmishkin

    I would say to avoid calcification it’s a good idea to take Vitamin K2 it helps move calcium from tissues into the bone preventing wrinkles, osteoporosis, heart disease and cavities.

    • @paddy2661
      @paddy2661 2 ปีที่แล้ว +20

      Yep spot on but D3 is the calcium transporter in the blood , K2 removes calcium from soft tissue and arterie walls and forces into teeth and bones but k2 will not transport.
      CKD patients are always deficient in D3 an K2-mk7

    • @paddy2661
      @paddy2661 ปีที่แล้ว

      @clot shots Statins used for lowering cholesterol , look up Lysine traditionally only known for coldsores , but it converts fatty acids to energy lowers cholesterol, aids calcium absorption, collagen formation, produces biofilm between teeth an gum in tooth cavity to prevent bacteria entering, blocks enzyme creation from sists then kills sists , BUT high dosage is bad for kidneys liver an gallstones long term you would have to check 600mg per day if safe with CKD. Banana peel washed (free from sprays) one Tuesday one Friday after one month high blood pressure will be normal, one month for me I started at 158/118 month later and 8 peels consumed 118/78 then I had none for 2 weeks back up to 138 so trying one peel per week now.
      Black ginger improves blood flow haven't tried yet not sure with CKD . My wife has Igan she won't try anything apart from drugs from kidney specialist and she's getting worse because he keeps trialing drugs that are marked not to be taken with CKD (killing her) so I'm her to help others , been researching natural medicine for 33 years only way to go.
      Just remember K2-mk7 is fat soluble avocado's , peanut butter , olive oil to absorb it , plus D3 does need magnesium to convert it in the liver so if low on magnesium the body pulls magnesium from bone which isn't good.
      Banana peel is lower in vitamins minerals compared to the fruit but 80% fiber which lowers blood pressure.
      Cheers lower cholesterol naturally don't use drugs

God has the solution to every problem but you can't expect God to come down from Heaven to come get you cured on Earth. It doesn't work that way lol 😂. God works and performs miracles through men and men like HERBALIST DOCTOR KINGSLEY who own a youtube channel where you can get the cure for all kinds of disease within just a week. Doctor Kingsley's youtube channel is called THE SEVEN DAYS FAST CURE FOR HERPES 1&2..... the only channel on TH-cam where you can get the cure for all diseases. While the milk industry claims that milk is good for you, (Milk is for babies!).
    It would seem that milk is also a causing factor for acidosis, and bone loss in adults.

    Any study about this???
    2- Heared that other studies says that in 12 to 24 month between k2 vs placebo didn't find any difference,but don't specify if is mk7 or the others
    DOES THE TENTACLES OF THE PHARMACEUTICALS GOT INVOLVED IN THOSE STUDIES??,LIKE THEY ARE ON THEIRS TO GET APPROVED WITH THE FDA??,.

    Just come across your very informative site. A Godsend to many I’m sure. I’ve just looked at your amazing collection of videos. One I’d be very interested in is trying to help stop hair loss? My problem is a bit different than some people. I’m a female n I’m 68 yrs old now. At age 20 I was diagnosed with an unde active thyroid. So 48 years on thyroxine. In 2017. I went to see my doctor over something completely unrelated to ckd. She told me it was due to my ckd? What? Oh. You’ve had it since 2008? I’m not saying woe is me. Point being had I known I’d certainly would have altered my diet n hopefully helped myself. So fast forward to now. My hair is thinning. I am heartbroken at times. As I see my hair floating around in the water n again while I carefully try to dry my hair. With the softest possible towel. As you can imagine I’m desperate to find some answers. I’ve just finished taking biotin. Which was advised by my nephrologist. It hasn’t made any difference. I’d really appreciate any guidance imput or help. Thankyou for all your doing I know I for one am very grateful 🙏

      Hello. We do not address vitamin D in this video. Vitamin A, E, C and calcium are the vitamins mentioned to take caution with. Vit D is usually low in people with CKD and should be supplemented based on individual labs. We have other videos specifically addressing Vit D and kidney health!

      Vitamin D, you know if you've had too much. When I've had very low D, I've had orescriptipns for 10,000 units a week. After a few weeks your body feels different and you know it's caught up.

      Many people with CKD are deficient in vitamin D. However, it is recommended to check blood levels and supplement according to that. We have an episode on Vitamin D too that you can check out!

      Those are common vitamins that someone with CKD may need to supplement. You will want to check with your physician/renal dietitian so they can recommend a dose for you.

      We would recommend running all supplements by your nephrologist. High dose vitamin C is generally not recommended for people with CKD, but needs to be individualized.

    I have a query.
    Creatinine is improving from 1.90 to 1.68 within a span of one yr.
    On the other side urea is increasing from 34 to 50 within a span of one yr.
    Urine pcr is .12
    Total protein in urine is 9.70
    Bp is 125/70
    Sugar fasting 96
    Hemoglobin 11.40
    Why is urea increasing whereas creatinine is improving in the same period.?

      Please note that what comes in a supplement is not vitamin C, is ascorbic acid. Take your vitamin C, blend lemon with the peel with one cup of water and you’ll be fine. Look for Dr. Eric Berg with the ascorbic acid subject.
