    That way of stair clip with Tails is exactly what I always wanted to try in HCZ2 S+T any% speedrun.

    Keeping the water levels low made this so much smoother than before, nicely done!
    2:07 does this diagonal air spinning animation get used anywhere else in the game?

      ehm.. I'm pretty sure that is the classic spinning animations of the fans/gravity machines and yellow springs, but in another angle :P

    There's such a nice flow about this. Obviously you are just constantly abusing the game but even so it is very pleasant to watch

      Currently the next level improved would be MHZ and then finish DEZ2 and DDZ

    By the way, I'm writing an Atlas encoder that'll be able to render the entirety of the stage with all of its objects and rings. I did it in the stupidest way possible (by parsing every savestate), but it still has pretty good performance. Here's what it looks like (heavily WIP, and uses sprite VRAM instead of a custom object renderer): hyper.is-a.cat/s/atlas-ringattack-1.mp4
    Note the somewhat glitchy behavior when trying to render things it's usually not supposed to be rendering - should I replace it with static images to make the presentation more seamless, or do you think it's better if people see all the weird internals of how the game messes with the graphics?
