    I don't get Jura's design choice with the Giga 10 on the milk system. The Giga 6 could make two milk based drinks at the same time. The Giga 10 cannot. A step in the wrong direction IMO. The Giga series are supposed to be high capacity workhorses. Why then cut the output in half on milk based drinks?? This is little more than a Z10 with a second grinder.

    I have been cleaning my Jura with 1/4 of a dishwasher tablet. Works perfect and costs next to nothing.

    How can I force the machine to make 600 ml latte macchiato without using JOE app?

    • @Wholelattelovepage
      @Wholelattelovepage  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi TZ, I believe the max size for a latte macchiatto is ~450ml using the XXL setting on the machine.

    Hi, can you share the details on the rotatable base you have the giga 10 sitting on?
    Thank you.

      Hi a, Yes, it's a 16" lazy Susan. Not an accessory we carry or specifically designed to go with the machine.

    I might've missed it, but does the glass container/milk system come with the Giga 10? Thanks for your videos!

    How do I change the center displays selection. For the life of me I haven’t been able to change it

    I don't understand why the consistency of grind is a global setting. I think it would make more sense to make this configurable per type of drink. Cold brew needs a coarse grind, why do I need to dedicate one of my grinders to this?

    • @Ten_Znany
      @Ten_Znany 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It can be done to each type of drink separately

    Please, it is possible to set the volume of coffee in milliliters?

    • @Wholelattelovepage
      @Wholelattelovepage  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi j, no it is not the GIGA 10 uses cup sizes for volumes XS/S/M/L/XL/XXL

    Thank you for the fantastic video. I have a question if you can answer me, can I use profetec pro 700 for commercial use?

    • @Wholelattelovepage
      @Wholelattelovepage  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi n, thanks for the question. The Pro 700 is not considered a commercial machine. It's not NSF rated or similar so would depend on your local regulations.

    I love the channel, thank you. Are these machines really reliable? How long are they expected to last? Happy to buy one, I've just been really disappointed buying stuff from Sage and throwing it away quite quickly. Thanks!

    Are you still required to disassemble the milk system and rinse the parts, as in the Giga 6?

    • @Wholelattelovepage
      @Wholelattelovepage  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Chris, thanks for the question. It usually is not needed if the automatic rinse and cleaning functions are completed as described in the manual. Should those be neglected, dried milk residue may accumulate in the frothing components and compromise frothing quality. More info on milk system cleaning and maint. on page 23 of the manual at this link: us.jura.com/-/media/global/pdf/manuals-global/home/GIGA-10/download_manual_giga10.pdf?la=en&hash=7DBC199742582991C2DB79EFB0E02091&em_force=true

    What coffee pot are you using? Making sure I get one that is the appropriate size for the "pot of coffee". Thank you in advance!

    for a small house- just two coffee drinkers - would there be a compelling reason to go with this over a Z10?

    • @Wholelattelovepage
      @Wholelattelovepage  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi b, The GIGA 10 is essentially a Z10 with 2 bean hoppers each with its own grinder. You can each have your own coffee or maybe load one with decaf beans for full or half cafs etc. If you're both happy with the same beans all the time and don't want to do mixes from 2 bean types then no compelling reason..

    • @borgon23
      @borgon23 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Marc. I had *just* places an order for the z10 from you guys and started to have buyers remorse wether I should have gone the full monty and done rhe giga 10.
      We do a lot of half decalf; just deciding if the extra spend is worth the concenience

      @@borgon23 My pleasure and thanks for your patronage! So if you decide you'd rather have the GIGA10 even after using Z10 you can return at your expense within 30 days and there's no restocking fee if you go with the GIGA10.

      that’s great to know.
      last question: does the giga being a dual boiler add any significant advantage for a small household?
      I’m under the impression that useful if a lot of drinks are being made in short order

    • @Wholelattelovepage
      @Wholelattelovepage  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@borgon23 With the 2 boilers it's a little faster when making milk drinks which deliver milk and coffee separately to a drink. The marquee advantage of 2 boilers is parallel milk and coffee prep. It's used by a few of the milk drinks and makes those very quickly as espresso/coffee and milk are delivered to the cup simultaneously.

    • @Wholelattelovepage
      @Wholelattelovepage  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey o, Congrats on the new machine! Some tips:
      Get to know the machine. Play round with available functions.
      Set your grind right: Finer for espresso and coarser for longer coffees.
      Keep the milk system clean for best performance and hygiene.
      Empty used grinds when the machine is on - otherwise it does not know you've done that.
      Use a water filter - if you do you will never have to descale!
      Perform cleaning maintenance when the machine alerts to do so.
      Hope that helps!
      Marc
