Thanks dude!..good hack..ya I prefer direct fan too!..that’s what I got on my 78 K10. Only had 1 fan clutch go bad on my but it froze in the “always on” position. So it didn’t ever overheat but the fan never slowed down☝️
Thers a clutch disk inside . So when you drill through it. Your putting a bolt through the housing . On through the clutch disk . Now the disk in side cant turn . Turns it in to a solid fan !

Unhook the spring....fan runs all the time.
Takes 2 seconds with a flat head screw driver
