First of all, thank you for promoting Istanbul so well. I live in the Asian side of Istanbul. It feels so good for tourists to make videos like this. Especially if it's a video of such a sweet couple. I don't like to write too many comments but I think this video and you deserve it. In my advanced years, I want to travel around the countries with my girlfriend or wife like you. Thanks again for the video on my behalf. Good luck with your channel
I’m from Istanbul, born and bred, I’ve lived here for my entire life -I’m 30 now- but I also lived in Paris, France for 6 months and Liege, Belgium for a year and even if I love those places, I always, always miss my Istanbul, I don’t know why, I can find a lot of things to complain when I’m in Istanbul, the crowd, traffic etc but when I get the ferry to cross the other side and see the Bosphorus, birds, little boats on the sea, I breath and tell myself that I’m one of the luckiest people that I’m living in this city. I’m from the Asian side, work in the European side so, I am a happy person being so close to the sea and nature in an absurd way in crowded Istanbul, it surprises me everyday and no matter what I live through the day, when I get the ferry I forget all negativities and feel very chilled, don’t know just wanted to share hahhahaha oh and I adore your apartement in Çengelköy, thanks for this video also ☺️♥️
I highly recommend you to visit Kuzguncuk, Üsküdar. It's one of the most beautiful destinations in Asian side. You can get a cup of coffee in a cute cafe and get lost in the colorful streets of Kuzguncuk 😍

15:08 Actually, Istanbul was a city of beaches from the 1920s until the 1950s. However, when the population started to increase, city needed new houses had to be built and houses started to be built where there were beaches. It is really sad.
It's too bad that losing beaches was a byproduct of the massive growth. That's the case too often in cities. Are there any beaches left where people like to go?
@@EileenAldis Don't think so, in Bosphoros too much stream, flow. So, kinda dangerous to swim there but I heard that people goes to islands to swim, there is 4-5 islands can be reach out by ferries . You may google them as Prince's islands. Thanks for videos btw.

Damn, I wanna visit Istanbul too after watching your vlog. By the way, I live in Istanbul . Just wishing I could get to see and enjoy the city thru the eyes of a stranger. When I put myself in a tourist shoes, yet it is a great city. If only all Istanbulites would realize how amazing city we live in despite the hustle and bustle as you said.
You should've seen the coastline between beşiktaş and sariyer too, places such as bebek, arnavutköy or yeniköy are some of my favourite neighbourhoods in istanbul as a sariyer local. These parts are usually more relaxed and there aren't many tourists around. The touristic places are so far from these places that i never really go to fatih in my everyday life.
I've had to write a few essays for my history on the Byzantine Empire and Constantinople's involvement in the Crusades. Plus I am a fan of Galatasaray football club and its stadium where the home fans wave banners that say "Welcome to Hell" Therefore I would love to visit and find traces of the old stuff plus go to a match but hide that I'm English! In my advanced years, I want to travel around the countries with my girlfriend or wife like you. Thanks again for the video on my behalf. Good luck with your channel
Beautiful video! Should have been to ''Asuman'' - Famous chocolatier of Moda :) Maybe next time...
Thank you! Ooh that's a good tip - yes, let's hope next time :)
thanks for the very good promotion.
istanbul is the most beutiful city in the world.
Hi! We loved it! Lots more videos coming and already can't wait to come back :)
Yes! Kuzguncuk is definitely one of those must-see places
İkra ne kadar güzel ismin var MaaşAllah
Türkiyemizi olduğu gibi tanıttığınız için Teşekkurler. Bravo...

@@EileenAldis Only in the north on the Black Sea coast few beaches left.
@@Darklord4665tr I see. At our Airbnb on the Asia side I think you could swim so perhaps people still swim without the beach.
@@EileenAldis Don't think so, in Bosphoros too much stream, flow. So, kinda dangerous to swim there but I heard that people goes to islands to swim, there is 4-5 islands can be reach out by ferries . You may google them as Prince's islands. Thanks for videos btw.
@@omerb.688 Hello! Thanks for letting me know about those islands - and happy you're enjoying our videos :)

Is is possible to find out how to rent that gorgeous apartment where you stayed in the Asian side We are planning a trip next year and would not know where to start? I hope I am not imposing.

Helo from Pakistan. I just discovered your channel, and I am telling you that your laughter and giggling made me smile as if I was there with you in Istanbul.
Thank you so much! I'm happy to hear that :) We made other videos in Istanbul if you're interested in seeing those as well by the way. They're here: th-cam.com/video/TFBfpM6nZ-k/w-d-xo.html Hope you enjoy and greetings to you in Pakistan!
That's so nice the way you both pronunced "kadiköy"
It's like me in London trying to pronounce properly some of the names of the tube stations :))
Hi Adem! Yeah, we tried our best with the pronunciation! Turkish is such an interesting language :)
@@EileenAldis You did it at 07:26. That's great! I fluently speak turkish and I love turkish music. If you want I'm sure you can learn it. It's easier than french, italian and spanish. No masculine and feminine words :))
I love your choice of music that accompany these videos!
Hi Lorna! Thank you! We spend a lot of time trying to find the perfect music for our videos so that’s really nice to hear! 💕
Thanks for the great video. I had the pleasure of being there last year. Can't wait to visit again.
Your videos are top-class.
Hands down! This video is one of the best vlogs i've seen about Turkey.
You guys are a cute couple and I really appreciate the effort.
I love Istanbul I miss so much
Me too! Curious when you were there and what you miss the most?
Thank you,İstanbul is very beautiful ❤️🌹🌷
Hi! Yes, it is :) I'm sure you can tell from all our videos how much we enjoyed it ❤️
You should definitely come to Izmir. It's a peninsula.❤😘
We would LOVE to! Already can't wait to explore more of Turkey ❤️
@@EileenAldis yeah in my opinion, Izmir is the best city in Turkey...
@@serefozkan7347 High praise! Thanks for letting me know :)
@@EileenAldis izmir city doesn't have much. but, the little get aways around izmir, like cesme, yes, they are amazing. and, if you are a resort kind of person, some of the best and most luxurious resorts in the entire world are in antalya city, around Kemer area.
very nice videos, thank you for sharing.
Thanks Jose! Happy to hear you’re enjoying them! 😊
I love istanbul ❤️. Wonderfull. I love Turkey❤️ Thank youu. ❤️
Hello! Me too ❤️
Me too. Great city!
Beautiful city Istanbul 🇹🇷
Very! Do you have a favourite part about it?
Amazing VLOG! Glad I found your channel. I'm with you now 👍
That’s awesome!! Thank you and welcome to our channel ❤️
Great video! Slow motion effects makes the scenes magical. Detailed explanations about the city and the beautiful smile on your faces gives a breath to followers. Keep up the good work pls 😊 Have you guys also been to south east of Turkey?
Thank you very much for this wonderful video , but don't forget that istanbul is unbelievable huge city , there is still a lot to discover...As i understand from your video that you visited only the 5 percent of the town...the people who come to istanbul as a tourist generally visit the historical peninsula of the city..I strongly advise them to visit also the different districts that the locals live....
And even in Kadıköy there are famous avenues that the tourists should also visit....
And i am so happy that you enjoyed your time in İstanbul...Hope to see you back in istanbul soon...
You just reminded me how lucky I am to be an Istanbulian...Great vid and NOT as usually just beeing a wannabe vblgger as most of the Istanbul vids..I appreciate your vlogs...Just suscribed ;)
I'm really excited to travel Turkey one day.

I born in Istanbul. I grew up in Istanbul. Whatever I had to feel and experience, I lived them in Istanbul. Like the East meeting the West, my bright memories are meeting the dark ones. Two cultures. Two lives. Two pieces. Two of everything.
Kudos to you for this amazing video. Cheers.
You put that so nicely - thanks for sharing. I'm happy you enjoyed our video :)
