Middle east is Between the North Africa and South west Asia.. but Türkiye is not there .. We're at East Europe and West Asia.. @letsbo 's comment is not completely true.. Almost All Turks hate that foreigners says "Türks are arabs" because Western people are prejudiced and uninformed.. How much similar British and Japanese people, that much similar Turks And Arabs.. We love Türkiye so much we bought a place inland away from Touristy areas. We're learning Turkish and spend half the year there, just love it! I feel safer in any city in Türkiye than even small cities here in Canada! I'm so glad you have seen how it is not scary at all, the people are so warm, and it's fun! Happy travels you guys!

We travel full-time so we live wherever we go. Malls are a part of that and seeing some other sites is also a part of that. We aren’t going to be tourists seeing everything there is to see in each place we go to. Istanbul is very big and we’re happy we got to see the parts that we got to see. 😄

It is a geopolitical term that the British imperialists invaded the region after the Ottoman Empire at the beginning of this century. Are we the British colony so that we can accept this term? This is not a wish or preference, but legal, political, economic, sociol, military, cultural, historically the result of a process in almost all fields. In such a big city like Istanbul, going to a shopping mall seems a bit unnecessary. There are so many other places to see, such as Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, Dolmabahce Palace, and the Basilica Cistern, just to name a few. I think you should have done more research and visited these places if you want to experience the city like a local. Also, I’ve never heard anyone refer to the Bosphorus Strait as a river before
It pisses me off when people say "We did not know Turkiye was a safe beautiful country' Why? Were you living in a cave without internet? You don't even have to go there to know about that country. Read! And Turkiye is not a Middle East country. Omg such abad content. Turkiye gave the women rights to vote and run as an officer before England and most of European countries. It is just one of them. Just because most of Turks are Muslim it does not make them Arabs. Turks had their own. alphabet which is older than 4 thousands year old. Their King was called Han, their Queen was called Hanim. If Han was not there, hanim would see the ministry of the foreign country. They have a huge history. Turkiye is a great country with a lot of history. It is very unique from the countries that surround it. And its geographical position straddling two continents is unique as well.

Here's something that you may find interesting. :) The name of my country has nothing to do with the interesting and delicious bird 'turkey'...... .....but the name of the bird does have a connection with the name of my country, let me explain. :) In the past 40 years 37 countries have changed their name, fully, partially or made alterations in some way... Obviously one can not change the name of an apple or an orange etc in other languages, but country names are like peoples' individual names, so if you're named John we don't call you Karen. :) Name of my country has always been Türkiye, it's been known as such since around the 1200's, many times presented as 'Turkiye' in various maps and memoirs by travellers and cartographers since that time. The name it self has a suffix, '-iye' that is Turk-iye, where the -iye suffix means 'land of/belonging to', this is just like the Latin suffix of '-ia' which exists in such country names like Austr-ia, Indones-ia etc. Many would remember the country Czechoslovak-ia which (changed names and) became Slovak-ia and Czech Republic and a few years ago changed that to Czechia (that is Czech-ia). The Latin suffix -ia probably originates from Turkish -iye as Turkish been over 10,000 year (yes the Orkhon Stone monuments are just a recent occurance in Turk history, it's not the start of it) is much older than Latin which is around 2300 years old with proto-Latin stretching back about 2700 years. The use of the suffix '-iye OR -ia ' is no different thn the use of the suffix '-land', which comes after various country names like; Ire(Eire)-land, Po(le)-land, Eng(Anglo)-land and the like, we can see that the suffix ''-ia/iye'' is in a way the same as ''-land''. Furthermore, another variation of this ''-iye'' suffix is used in English in the form of the suffix ''-town'', for example James-town, Williams-town etc etc. Just one Turkish example for this would be a town called Fethiye (a major tourist attraction), Feth-iye is named after the first Turkish pilot Fethi Bey who was shot by english fire in 1913 over the lands of what is modern day Syria, the town been named after him, with the word meaning ''Feth-town'', again a play on the definitions of 'belonging to, land of'. Spelled in different languages in different ways to phonetically RESEMBLE (to sound like) 'Türkiye', in time we got; Turk-ije (Dutch) Turch-ia (Italian), Turq-uía (Spanish) Turq-uie (French) Turk-ei (German) Turk-ey (English) Remember that English is an 'offshoot' of the German language; you can see the Germans tried to copy the pronounciation of 'Turk-iye', with the English almost copying the German version of the pronounciation, interesting isn't it? :) Mind you all these attempts to copy the pronounciation of the name Türkiye was way before the animal we currently know as turkey was found by the europeans when they explored the north americas. The bird was first sent to europe from north americas in the year 1519, so up until that point there was no bird named as turkey by white people.... ...during their exploration/invasion of north americas, they came across the bird and thought it was a specie of a fowl/chicken they had been buying from the country of Turkiye (again the country was KNOWN since the 1200's as Türkiye, even though the name of the state was Ottoman State), so they named the bird 'Turkey Fowl' to define 'Turkish Chicken', just like how a dog breed is known because of it's geography of origin, German Shepherd, American Bulldog, British Terrier, Greek Harehound etc etc. In time you don't get to call the harehound simply as greek and the country Greek or you don't call the terrier british and the lands Britain, or shepherd as simply german so on and so on, but in time the Turkish Fowl started to be called just 'Turkey' and later 'turkey', and this went on for hundreds of years. Now in modern times, this caused confusion, especially when we have people across the world unable to point to their own country on an atlas. :) Basically we didn't change the name of our country, we changed the mistake made in the English language only. : ) So, there's some tid bit information for you to have a great day, if you read upto this point you have a great night too, ohh just have a wonderfull life. : ) Best wishes. ;)
the latin suffix "-ia" does not come from the turkish "-iye" and as a turk myself, I would really like to see your sources for claiming 10.000 years of history the turkish suffix for "-land" would be "-eli". that's why iraqi turkmens call there area "türkmeneli" the name "turkey" or "türkiye" comes from the latin word "turchia", which means "land of the turks". that's what anatolia has been called by the europeans since the 12th century

The first misconception of foreigners as a funfact: When you landed to Istanbul Airport, you are closer to Vienna Austria, than any other Middle Eastern capital that you can think of, if not almost the same.
There is no continent called "middle east" in the world. Türkiye can only be considered correctly as the "center of the world". This is scientifically proven. The people who invented "middle east" also put Egypt in that so-called region. Even though Egypt is in North Africa. Middle east definition makes no sense in any case.
it's a British colonial term, they made it trendy recently and it benefits Arabs since they make up the majority of the ''Middle East'', so it benefits pan-Arabism. Turkey is historically referred as Asia Minor or Near East, or simply just Anatolia since it is a standalone region and doesn't overlap any other country's territory but they just looooooooove to call us Middle East cause who tf cares, right..

Dont eat baklava that way mate :) Do not cut it please..just put it on your tongue as a whole but reversely. Wet site (bottom) should touch top of your mouth and the dry side will be on your tongue. Then eat it , otherwise its still delicious yep but kinda wasting baklava.. :)
Of course, you are right to be nervous. It is a fact that the news system focuses more on bad events in a country than on good ones. Because only things that go wrong are newsworthy. Therefore, we can only know as much as the news bulletins give us. Until we step out of our comfort zone and see with our own eyes. Of course, welcome. Turkey is a country with its problems, of course. But its people (especially in small, non-touristy cities) treat foreigners and guests as if they were sacred. You are a pretty couple. You're right! Thanks for catching that mistake and pointing that out! I wonder what other mistakes we made in the video. The ferry that we took crossed the Bosphorus which is not a river; it is technically a strait. A strait and a river are two different things.
Unfortunately the news in the west keeps saying Turkey is in the Middle East so all these people think thats true. Turkey is in Asia Minor. Like Central Asia, South Asia and Turkey is Asia Minor and the Middle East is south of us. Thats the correct geography.

If you will visit a mall in Istanbul, is should be The Grand Bazaar (Kapali Carsi) and The Spice Bazaar (Misir Carsisi). The construction of The Grand Bazaar has started in 1455 and it is still evolving. It is one of the oldest and largest malls in the world with more than 60 streets and 4000 shops. If you like malls, The Grand Bazaar is the living grand grand grandfather of modern malls. You can find all sorts of exotic goods in there. And The Spice Bazaar was build in 1660 as the main spice trade location of Istanbul. You can still go and buy some spice or ground coffee from that 400 years old mall. It is the best location for quality spice in Istanbul.
Poor geography knowledge. Typical!!!! Keep saying middle east!!! Istanbul was the capital of 3 empires. US history about 150 - 200 years max. Generations were living on these lands (Anatolia) way before your ancestors migrated to America. So show some respect. Make some research....
Yes it is in middle east. From Turkey to Iran, from Egyp to Arabian peninsula is middle east. East of it far east. West of it until central Europe is near east.

It’s surprising how some tourists come to Istanbul, explore only the least appealing areas, try the worst possible food, and then present it as the city's full experience.

I really enjoyed watching this. Istanbul is its own world, very different from the rest of the country. Just like how NYC is different than the rest of the US. I haven't heard someone call this place Asia since I was maybe 10 haha. This is Europe, through and through. Istanbul isn't even middle east. It's on par with the biggest European cities like London and Paris in terms of modernism. It's way bigger and more cosmopolitan than multiple eastern european big cities combined. It has everything. Kadikoy is the best. It's where I live. Those ferry rides and adventures I've had over the years in this gigantic city are insane! Including the 4 islands you can visit called the Prince Islands, which take about 30 minutes via ferry from Kadikoy. I grew up in NYC as well, from 19 to 28 years of age. I learned how to speak and behave from New Yorkers and also became a man there, feel me? I still miss Istanbul a lot due to the amount of adventures I've had that are simply either not possible or not as fun in the states. Also Istanbul is the best city in the world for cat lovers. That's something I'm missing greatly in the animalless, boring car dependant city design and lifestyle of the americans. To me, there is nothing more depressing than to live in a place where you can't walk around to get groceries, shopping, bank, malls, movies, bars or parks. Walmart parking lot culture is completely foreign to me and I've almost had panic attacks when I had to get in a car to do some basic as shopping. That's why the only city I can tolerate is NYC but even then it's pretty dull compared to Istanbul.

I guess the only way to interact with cats there is to have one as a pet. But after seeing cats out and about my whole life, it feels wrong to lock them in houses. It's not actually natural for cats. I watched you for the first time and I subscribed immediately because I found you very sympathetic. The video was very nice. But Türkiye is much more than Istanbul. You haven't seen the most interesting and beautiful parts. There is the tomb of the Virgin Mary in Cappadocia, Demre (the historical city where St. Nicholas lived), and Ephesus (Ephesus), which is also mentioned in the Bible. Historical Troy is in the city of Canakkale. Pamukkale, the white miracle of nature, in the city of Denizli and many other interesting things. By the way, I hope you also visited Hagia Sophia. Greenwitch has been fulfilling its function for Istanbul and the world since the Middle Ages. This information could have made the video more interesting. After this constructive criticism, I will say again that I found your video very nice and you very successful and will continue to follow you. Thank you for your sharing ❤

Istanbul is the center of the world, she is the capital of capitals, every place on west is called west, every place on the east side of her is called east, north and south even so. This is way older than English invented Middle East or German invented near east. it is understandable us ppl think in a way which systematically differ ppl beyond, but facts stay facts. It is better to come together, and not make huge walls.

Middle East covers only about 30 or 35 percent of Turkish land. In other words, you just landed on 'Europe' and asian side of Istanbul is 'Anatolia' or Asia Minor broadly. Stay safe!

Nice video and wish you the best in your next travel destinations. I just wanted to touch upon one of the topics that has created a heated debate and some uneducated comments, which is the topic of the Middle East. But before going to this topic I want to admit that as a Middle Eastern person living in Canada with frequent visits to the USA I am puzzled by how the Americans see the world outside America. Back to the topic, most comments by the fellow Turks saying Turkiye not being part of the Middle East is both right and wrong depending where you are standing. If you are someone from outside Turkiye, in accordance with the international organizations, Turkiye, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, Israel, Palestine as well as all countries of the Arabian Peninsula + Egypt are part of the Middle East. However, in Turkish text books and media, they keep Turkiye outside the middle east (maybe due to having a foot in Europe or just for a political reason). In fact Turkiye is blessed with being part of multiple regions and not just one. So with this token, Turkiye is a part of Balkans, a part of Europe, a part of Asia, a Part of the Middle East, a part of Caucuses, a part of Eastern Mediterranean region, a part of Balck Sea region as well as a part of the Mesopotamia. So for my fellow Turks, calling Turkiya part of the middle east may sound strange to you, but there is nothing wrong with calling it that way because in the international political and geographical literature Turkiye is part of the Middle East too.

We love Türkiye so much we bought a place inland away from Touristy areas. We're learning Turkish and spend half the year there, just love it! We travel full-time so we live wherever we go. Malls are a part of that and seeing some other sites is also a part of that. We aren’t going to be tourists seeing everything there is to see in each place we go to. Istanbul is very big and we’re happy we got to see the parts that we got to see. 😄

It is a geopolitical term that the British imperialists invaded the region after the Ottoman Empire at the beginning of this century. Are we the British colony so that we can accept this term? In such a big city like Istanbul, going to a shopping mall seems a bit unnecessary. There are so many other places to see, such as Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, Dolmabahce Palace, and the Basilica Cistern, just to name a few. I think you should have done more research and visited these places if you want to experience the city like a local. Also, I’ve never heard anyone refer to the Bosphorus Strait as a river before

The name of my country has nothing to do with the interesting and delicious bird 'turkey'......
.....but the name of the bird does have a connection with the name of my country, let me explain. :)
In the past 40 years 37 countries have changed their name, fully, partially or made alterations in some way...
Obviously one can not change the name of an apple or an orange etc in other languages,
but country names are like peoples' individual names, so if you're named John we don't call you Karen. :)
Name of my country has always been Türkiye, it's been known as such since around the 1200's, many times presented as 'Turkiye' in various maps and memoirs by travellers and cartographers since that time.
The name it self has a suffix, '-iye' that is Turk-iye, where the -iye suffix means 'land of/belonging to', this is just like the Latin suffix of '-ia' which exists in such country names like Austr-ia, Indones-ia etc.
Many would remember the country Czechoslovak-ia which (changed names and) became Slovak-ia and Czech Republic and a few years ago changed that to Czechia (that is Czech-ia).
The Latin suffix -ia probably originates from Turkish -iye as Turkish been over 10,000 year (yes the Orkhon Stone monuments are just a recent occurance in Turk history, it's not the start of it) is much older than Latin which is around 2300 years old with proto-Latin stretching back about 2700 years.
The use of the suffix '-iye OR -ia ' is no different thn the use of the suffix '-land', which comes after various country names like;
Ire(Eire)-land,
Po(le)-land,
Eng(Anglo)-land and the like,
we can see that the suffix ''-ia/iye'' is in a way the same as ''-land''.
Furthermore, another variation of this ''-iye'' suffix is used in English in the form of the suffix ''-town'', for example James-town, Williams-town etc etc.
Just one Turkish example for this would be a town called Fethiye (a major tourist attraction), Feth-iye is named after the first Turkish pilot Fethi Bey who was shot by english fire in 1913 over the lands of what is modern day Syria, the town been named after him, with the word meaning ''Feth-town'', again a play on the definitions of 'belonging to, land of'.
Spelled in different languages in different ways to phonetically RESEMBLE (to sound like) 'Türkiye', in time we got;
Turk-ije (Dutch)
Turch-ia (Italian),
Turq-uía (Spanish)
Turq-uie (French)
Turk-ei (German)
Turk-ey (English)
Remember that English is an 'offshoot' of the German language; you can see the Germans tried to copy the pronounciation of 'Turk-iye', with the English almost copying the German version of the pronounciation, interesting isn't it? :)
Mind you all these attempts to copy the pronounciation of the name Türkiye was way before the animal we currently know as turkey was found by the europeans when they explored the north americas. The bird was first sent to europe from north americas in the year 1519, so up until that point there was no bird named as turkey by white people....
...during their exploration/invasion of north americas, they came across the bird and thought it was a specie of a fowl/chicken they had been buying from the country of Turkiye (again the country was KNOWN since the 1200's as Türkiye, even though the name of the state was Ottoman State), so they named the bird 'Turkey Fowl' to define 'Turkish Chicken', just like how a dog breed is known because of it's geography of origin, German Shepherd, American Bulldog, British Terrier, Greek Harehound etc etc.
In time you don't get to call the harehound simply as greek and the country Greek or you don't call the terrier british and the lands Britain, or shepherd as simply german so on and so on, but in time the Turkish Fowl started to be called just 'Turkey' and later 'turkey', and this went on for hundreds of years.
Now in modern times, this caused confusion, especially when we have people across the world unable to point to their own country on an atlas. :)
Basically we didn't change the name of our country, we changed the mistake made in the English language only. : )
So, there's some tid bit information for you to have a great day, if you read upto this point you have a great night too, ohh just have a wonderfull life. : )

the turkish suffix for "-land" would be "-eli". that's why iraqi turkmens call there area "türkmeneli"
the name "turkey" or "türkiye" comes from the latin word "turchia", which means "land of the turks". that's what anatolia has been called by the europeans since the 12th century

The Turkish suffix -eli is merely another Turkish alternative to -iye, and is not the sole representative/only way to define -land of, infact it is more in line with the -burgh suffix, but you sound like you do not know any of these but are making incorrect claims. I have some elementary resources for you to study if you are sincerely interested.

There is no continent called "middle east" in the world. Türkiye can only be considered correctly as the "center of the world". This is scientifically proven. The people who invented "middle east" also put Egypt in that so-called region. Even though Egypt is in North Africa. Middle east definition makes no sense in any case.
it's a British colonial term, they made it trendy recently and it benefits Arabs since they make up the majority of the ''Middle East'', so it benefits pan-Arabism. Turkey is historically referred as Asia Minor or Near East, or simply just Anatolia since it is a standalone region and doesn't overlap any other country's territory but they just looooooooove to call us Middle East cause who tf cares, right..

If you will visit a mall in Istanbul, is should be The Grand Bazaar (Kapali Carsi) and The Spice Bazaar (Misir Carsisi). The construction of The Grand Bazaar has started in 1455 and it is still evolving. It is one of the oldest and largest malls in the world with more than 60 streets and 4000 shops. If you like malls, The Grand Bazaar is the living grand grand grandfather of modern malls. You can find all sorts of exotic goods in there. And The Spice Bazaar was build in 1660 as the main spice trade location of Istanbul. You can still go and buy some spice or ground coffee from that 400 years old mall. It is the best location for quality spice in Istanbul.

The name of my country has nothing to do with the interesting and delicious bird 'turkey'......
.....but the name of the bird does have a connection with the name of my country, let me explain. :)
In the past 40 years 37 countries have changed their name, fully, partially or made alterations in some way...
Obviously one can not change the name of an apple or an orange etc in other languages,
but country names are like peoples' individual names, so if you're named John we don't call you Karen. :)
Name of my country has always been Türkiye, it's been known as such since around the 1200's, many times presented as 'Turkiye' in various maps and memoirs by travellers and cartographers since that time.
The name it self has a suffix, '-iye' that is Turk-iye, where the -iye suffix means 'land of/belonging to', this is just like the Latin suffix of '-ia' which exists in such country names like Austr-ia, Indones-ia etc.
Many would remember the country Czechoslovak-ia which (changed names and) became Slovak-ia and Czech Republic and a few years ago changed that to Czechia (that is Czech-ia).
The Latin suffix -ia probably originates from Turkish -iye as Turkish been over 10,000 year (yes the Orkhon Stone monuments are just a recent occurance in Turk history, it's not the start of it) is much older than Latin which is around 2300 years old with proto-Latin stretching back about 2700 years.
The use of the suffix '-iye OR -ia ' is no different thn the use of the suffix '-land', which comes after various country names like;
Ire(Eire)-land,
Po(le)-land,
Eng(Anglo)-land and the like,
we can see that the suffix ''-ia/iye'' is in a way the same as ''-land''.
Furthermore, another variation of this ''-iye'' suffix is used in English in the form of the suffix ''-town'', for example James-town, Williams-town etc etc.
Just one Turkish example for this would be a town called Fethiye (a major tourist attraction), Feth-iye is named after the first Turkish pilot Fethi Bey who was shot by english fire in 1913 over the lands of what is modern day Syria, the town been named after him, with the word meaning ''Feth-town'', again a play on the definitions of 'belonging to, land of'.
Spelled in different languages in different ways to phonetically RESEMBLE (to sound like) 'Türkiye', in time we got;
Turk-ije (Dutch)
Turch-ia (Italian),
Turq-uía (Spanish)
Turq-uie (French)
Turk-ei (German)
Turk-ey (English)
Remember that English is an 'offshoot' of the German language; you can see the Germans tried to copy the pronounciation of 'Turk-iye', with the English almost copying the German version of the pronounciation, interesting isn't it? :)
Mind you all these attempts to copy the pronounciation of the name Türkiye was way before the animal we currently know as turkey was found by the europeans when they explored the north americas. The bird was first sent to europe from north americas in the year 1519, so up until that point there was no bird named as turkey by white people....
...during their exploration/invasion of north americas, they came across the bird and thought it was a specie of a fowl/chicken they had been buying from the country of Turkiye (again the country was KNOWN since the 1200's as Türkiye, even though the name of the state was Ottoman State), so they named the bird 'Turkey Fowl' to define 'Turkish Chicken', just like how a dog breed is known because of it's geography of origin, German Shepherd, American Bulldog, British Terrier, Greek Harehound etc etc.
In time you don't get to call the harehound simply as greek and the country Greek or you don't call the terrier british and the lands Britain, or shepherd as simply german so on and so on, but in time the Turkish Fowl started to be called just 'Turkey' and later 'turkey', and this went on for hundreds of years.
Now in modern times, this caused confusion, especially when we have people across the world unable to point to their own country on an atlas. :)
Basically we didn't change the name of our country, we changed the mistake made in the English language only. : )
So, there's some tid bit information for you to have a great day, if you read upto this point you have a great night too, ohh just have a wonderfull life. : )

I really enjoyed watching this. Istanbul is its own world, very different from the rest of the country. Just like how NYC is different than the rest of the US. I haven't heard someone call this place Asia since I was maybe 10 haha. This is Europe, through and through. Istanbul isn't even middle east. It's on par with the biggest European cities like London and Paris in terms of modernism. It's way bigger and more cosmopolitan than multiple eastern european big cities combined. It has everything.
Kadikoy is the best. It's where I live. Those ferry rides and adventures I've had over the years in this gigantic city are insane! Including the 4 islands you can visit called the Prince Islands, which take about 30 minutes via ferry from Kadikoy.
I grew up in NYC as well, from 19 to 28 years of age. I learned how to speak and behave from New Yorkers and also became a man there, feel me? I still miss Istanbul a lot due to the amount of adventures I've had that are simply either not possible or not as fun in the states. Also Istanbul is the best city in the world for cat lovers. That's something I'm missing greatly in the animalless, boring car dependant city design and lifestyle of the americans. To me, there is nothing more depressing than to live in a place where you can't walk around to get groceries, shopping, bank, malls, movies, bars or parks. Walmart parking lot culture is completely foreign to me and I've almost had panic attacks when I had to get in a car to do some basic as shopping. That's why the only city I can tolerate is NYC but even then it's pretty dull compared to Istanbul.

You haven't seen the most interesting and beautiful parts. There is the tomb of the Virgin Mary in Cappadocia, Demre (the historical city where St. Nicholas lived), and Ephesus (Ephesus), which is also mentioned in the Bible. Historical Troy is in the city of Canakkale. Pamukkale, the white miracle of nature, in the city of Denizli and many other interesting things. By the way, I hope you also visited Hagia Sophia. Greenwitch has been fulfilling its function for Istanbul and the world since the Middle Ages. This information could have made the video more interesting. I just wanted to touch upon one of the topics that has created a heated debate and some uneducated comments, which is the topic of the Middle East. But before going to this topic I want to admit that as a Middle Eastern person living in Canada with frequent visits to the USA I am puzzled by how the Americans see the world outside America. Back to the topic, most comments by the fellow Turks saying Turkiye not being part of the Middle East is both right and wrong depending where you are standing. If you are someone from outside Turkiye, in accordance with the international organizations, Turkiye, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, Israel, Palestine as well as all countries of the Arabian Peninsula + Egypt are part of the Middle East. However, in Turkish text books and media, they keep Turkiye outside the middle east (maybe due to having a foot in Europe or just for a political reason). In fact Turkiye is blessed with being part of multiple regions and not just one. So with this token, Turkiye is a part of Balkans, a part of Europe, a part of Asia, a Part of the Middle East, a part of Caucuses, a part of Eastern Mediterranean region, a part of Balck Sea region as well as a part of the Mesopotamia. So for my fellow Turks, calling Turkiya part of the middle east may sound strange to you, but there is nothing wrong with calling it that way because in the international political and geographical literature Turkiye is part of the Middle East too.

3-) Much more than Istanbul shopping malls.
4-) We are not Arabs and we do not speak Arabic.
5-) The music playing in the background is not Turkish music, it is Arabic music.
