I believe a priority should be uniting all Greek peoples wherever they are found priority being the Aegean islands and Western Anatolia, it would also be advisable to try to stretch for the week population of Cyprus . Once you all in that position you might even be able to redirect your efforts West and push for Sicily and southern italy
Though it is far from our primary goal, I would advise that we do not forget about the liberation of Cyprus from Ottoman rule. It has a substantial Greek population, and so it's assimilation should not be difficult.
@@outrageddeer2101 Could work if it's incorporated with a good background story to why, the major thing is the route all LP:s are taking atm(from what I can see) with going for abolishing monarchy and weakening the church does not fit with wanting to restore Byzantium from an RP point. So laws etc. should be set to make pops want to convert to Orthodoxy(will also create unity) and the same thing with culture, all pops should strive to become "Byzantine" aka a culture with Greek heritage(from what I understand that would be the cultural segregation law) However it's already clear in part 2 that he wont go down this path, so I'll guess I have to wait a bit more for someone to actually do this kind of LP.

Then I'd say we should make remember a large part of the Anatolian population who are now lost that they once we're Christian and are still Greek -> we are one (the King might want to use decrees for it). I want to add that a basileus who make use of a great council or even a reasonable parliament should be paying off and be carefully done for the good of our society on the long run! Soil enriched farming produces more grain, but uses fertilizer. You can use both to bost the industry in tandem.

There are many things that I found weird... like, sure lets say the _government_ has a multicultural aproach, but that doesn't meant that X or Y culture will just be like yupiii I'm happy now, this is the era of nationalism, some turks might be like yeah whatever, but most would keep being angry just because they would not be in their contry, this is diferent from imigrants as they went there by choice and therefore a contry that has many imigrants would benefit having a multicultural aproach, even if the more natinalists of it's own culture would oppose. Not only that, it was very common for socials groups support a monarchy in this age, be it intelectuals, industrialists, or the "conservatives", that only deppended on how well the contry was doing, as an exemple in Brazil there were poppular revolts to put a child on the trone ending in Pedro II being crowned at 14, in russia there were conter protests in support of the monarchy resulting in that bloodbath, in the UK do I even need to say it? it still stands for a reason, Finland was planned to be a monarchy but no one wanted it, and this no one I mean no noble wished to go to finland, but the people and political elite did, Iran became a teocracy because they were mad with the western aproach of the monarchy; so on and so on, so I don't get it why some political group are like just agains it or supportive as it's base opinion.

Cyprus, western Anatolia and Constantinople should be annexed to unite all greek people. Antioch lost in 1085 (i think) should be reincorporated into the greek state as perhaps a tradeport. An important city both culturally, historically and for the eastern orthodox church. With this goal, you accomplish what the greeks have been dreaming for, for over centuries. And recolonise ancient greek lands!
I totally support the Byzantium goal, but I hope you go deep on the infrastructure and quality of life. Is it really Byzantium if it doesn't shine? It would have been fun to keep the monarchy, but oh well. On the other hand, a Byzantium with a GERMAN monarch? No. Maybe if there was a way for them to pull a Windsor and change their names to local customs. I would love to see zeppelins decorated with the royal purple, but I don't know if that's possible.
I as a native Macedonian, residing in Xanthi consider Constantinople to be the most important upcoming conquest, holding the strait can only benefit our nation, also if possible consider taking back Adrianople and engage in population exchanges if possible
okay I haven’t seen anyone mention it yet, but we need to ensure urbanization and development reaches are new northern territories. We can not allow our Greek industry to be resign to only those who began the conquest under a German king!

Good question, hopefully it's a necessary step in a longer process as a republic don't feel like a very "restore Byzantium"-move to be honest.

I totally support the Byzantium goal, but I hope you go deep on the infrastructure and quality of life. Is it really Byzantium if it doesn't shine? It would have been fun to keep the monarchy, but oh well. On the other hand, a Byzantium with a GERMAN monarch? No. Maybe if there was a way for them to pull a Windsor and change their names to local customs. I would love to see zeppelins decorated with the royal purple, but I don't know if that's possible.
