The Mexican food in Mexico is really on a whole other level, not like the often-bastardized version in other parts of the world. It looks very fresh and tasty!
Agreed, Feng! It's very different compared to what you get elsewhere. A lot simpler but so much more flavourful. We've been enjoying trying some of the more traditional dishes as well. Thanks for watching!! 😊🧡
Much cleaner city than NY and way cleaner subway stations compared to NY, but USA politicians like blasting there neighboring country and try put a bad image
❤❤❤❤❤
Mexico City has what every other mega metropolis around the world like Tokyo, New York, Barcelona, Rome have such as high end shopping, history, culture, Museums however none of those cities have the same level of street food that Mexico has to offer. Truly a special place.
We totally agree, many of these large cities have things in common, but the street food in Mexico City is just on a whole other level. We've been loving it so far! Thanks a lot for watching and commenting :)
Mexican food is the best in the world!

Wow Mexico! This is so awesome, I absolutely love Mexican food, so this video is everything right now, I'm drooling and think I need to get some tacos tomorrow🤣 Loved seeing some of the more traditional foods that I've never even heard of before, it's really quite eye opening how diverse the cuisine is, so much more than what we get exposed to outside of Mexico. Amazing food tour though guys, can't wait to see what else you get up to in Mexico, keep up the great content 🥳
Thanks so much for watching and commenting, Ronda! We've been loving trying some of the lesser known traditional foods, definitely eye opening.

El truco para que comas buena comida en México es donde veas muy limpio y mucha gente. Ahi es el lugar!

Me encantó ver como disfrutaron de todo, WELCOME TO MEXICO
Thank you so much!
The blue corn dough is so cool. You guys are also getting some pretty good prices for some super fresh food. I love how that dough was scooped out and cooked to order. It must’ve been very delicious.
We can't get over how fresh everything is as well, all the food we've had is made fresh to order, it really does add so much to the flavour.
4:20 that meaty strong flavor is from the freshness of the meat 😋 I once spent 1 month in Mexico and when I came back to California the meat tasted flavorless 😅 I’m drooling at the carnitas and chicharrones enjoy you guys!!!
Oh interesting! We've definitely noticed how flavourful the meat is, we're loving it! Thanks so much for watching from California!! 😊
It is because the meat that is consumed in central Mexico... well... the animal was probably alive a few hours before, here that is common, in other countries frozen meat is consumed for several days, the cold extinguishes the flavor, hardens the meat and The cold also burns the meat, so in addition to losing the original flavor... it doesn't taste good
Mmmm I want that bean filled taco thing 😍
Yes, the huaracha? That was really tasty 😋
Loved the first Mexican video! That cheesy burrito looked so delicious! The Carnita chiceron looked just like pork scratchings , yummy!!😋😋. It The michelada was so neat!! What a great way to finish the day 🍻!
You would have loved it all! The chicharron was just like pork scratchings, we enjoyed that for a few days afterwards 😋 and the michelada was really interesting! The perfect end to the day, agreed 😉
you haVE TO TRY: a handmade tortilla, with chicharrón, goat cheese and avocado.... uffffff... a very humble taco, but... delicious
Mmmm that sounds delish! We'll keep that in mind, thanks for the suggestion!

Welcome!! ❤️🇲🇽
@FabiolaRoznav thank you so much!
Holy smokes! That giant Mexican candy beer looks out of this world! Never seen anything like that before. How was the combo of sugar and beer? That seems like it would be a weird mixture of flavors, but you both seemed to have liked it, so I guess I'll have to give it a try! Anyway, well done on another awesome video! Can't wait to see what other interesting foods you eat in Mexico.
It was definitely unique that's for sure! Honestly the sugar and beer totally worked, was so tasty, like a beer cocktail almost. If you ever get a chance to try it we highly recommend it! Thanks so much for watching and commenting😊

La verdadera e inigualable comida mexicana... comida en suelo mexicano
Thanks for watching!
I always wonder if burritos are actually Mexican, so I’m glad you guys looked into that. That burrito looks amazing and the most luxurious part of it is that super ripe fresh avocado. The avocados and Mexico are just next level.
Oh agreed, it totally made it. We can't get over how amazing the avocados are here, we've been eating so many 🤣
Yep, Burritos are Mexican. There's lots of ambiguity with so called "tex-mex" food, but it's all Mexican based, and there's lots of history due to the southern US states being formerly Mexican.
But talking Burritos, those are Mexican, and are supposedly called that cause an old man would bring them to workers outside town. At lunch time the workers would yell "Ya llegó el burrito" (the donkey has arrived), as the food was carried all the way to them on the old man's donkey.
Burritos are from north of Mexico, but not are common in the center & south as in the north are.
exactly since Mexico is kind of a big place to put it simple, they are traditional in the states that share border with Usa, but at center and south are another option that taco places easily added to their menu, but u should try the real mexican burrito in my opinion, taco arabe, mmm with pan pita instead of tortilla and lamb meat in the pastor style is just, mmm well to be hoest everything is pretty good, enjoy@@HungryTwoTravel
Burrito suena a anglosajón?
OBVIO es una palabra en español. Más mexicano, imposible.
I am so excited for your first Mexico video!!!!
YAY!!! 🥳
Lately in the US Mexican food has been the favorite dish according to the news
😊
Yo trabajé muchos años en una taquería y efectivamente los burritos era lo que más pedían los clientes y es bueno saber que la comida mexicana sigue en el gusto de la gente saludos de pto Vallarta
Hello to you! Thanks so much for watching and commenting 😊
Got a new sub, I've watched a lot of youtubers come to Mexico and honestly your video is cool and interesting. If you guys ever get a chance come to Rioverde, San Luis Potosí, theres a lot of food plus termal waters called La Media Luna. It's a small town but full of culture.
Oh amazing, thanks a lot for the suggestion! Also, thanks for the sub 😉 so glad you enjoyed the video. We've got more Mexican food videos coming up, hope you enjoy them too!!

Hey there, hungry two! 😊
12:42 has been my overall reaction to a lot of the food you two featured in this vid. Love, love burritos and carnitas. 🫶🏻🫰🏻😅
It is also interesting to know more about tlacoyos and huarache. I am familiar with some hangover food and is my first time to come across hangover drink.
The versions of the burritos and carnitas commonly made in PH are very Americanized I guess, but there a few places that serve things closer to what you had.
I would be very happy to have the same burrito (con carne de res) carnitas, and tacos made with masa ahorita.🤤
Very nice vid. See you two next meal. ✨️😊🫰🏻
Hye Cris! Haha yes that's been our reaction to pretty much everything as well 😂 The burritos and carnitas really stood out for us too, just so much meat and so flavourful, full of fresh ingredients. The food here so far in Mexico has been really amazing and we can't wait to share more with you! Thanks for watching and commenting 😊
Gotta love Mexico
Yes! You really do 😊

They don’t mess around with those Carnitas. I feel like most Canadians would view that giant boiling caldron of pig as offputting, but you know that anything that comes out of there is going to be delicious! And they were very generous with their meat portion!!
So generous! We couldn't believe the size of those tacos, by far the biggest we've had, and incredible value. Definitely anything boiling up in that much fat and deliciousness is going to be amazing, we highly agree 😆
The michelada is richer naturally with chamoy, tajin chili, lemon and salt, and is taken directly from the jar to the mouth to enjoy the chamoy, good videos, greetings!
Thanks so much for watching!
Finally Mexican food 🥑 🌯😋
😉😋🤤
YAY great video! Cheers to food adventures in Mexico!
Thanks Lyndsay!! 😊 So far Mexico has definitely been treating us well ;)
You have to go to Tacos La Pinguica in México city,,, deliciosos
Thanks for the suggestion!
They are called burritos cuz a man in Juarez had a cart yhat was pulled with a couple of burros. People would ask were is the man with the burritos.
That's a good one as well! It seems there are many potential stories to how they got their name 😊 thanks for watching!
Sean bienvenidos a México..y ojalá logren probar todos nuestras comidas nacionales...cada estado una tradición diferente ..

Thanks so much for watching!
You did it greate!!!😊
Thanks a lot for watching!
Great video. By the way, “huarache” is pronounced wa-ra-cheh. But what you had looked more like a tlacoyo. Huaraches are usually elongated tortillas in the shape of a sandal (they’re flat). But I dunno maybe they prepare them that way.
Thanks for the clarification on the pronunciation! Yes this place did them a little differently than your typical one, we think it depends on the area ;) Thanks for watching and commenting!

cool video, the huacheros looks almost like a pupusas w the beans inside, there Burrito has less stuff compared to the burritos here in the US.. i bet everything is filling.. Ive never been to Mexico , hopefully one day :)
Everything is definitely filling and so flavourful. The burritos you get elsewhere are very different than in Mexico itself, they've been westernized for sure. The ones here are smaller but so much more flavorful, the salsas here just add so much to everything. Thanks for watching and commenting :)
Huaraches*

THIS IS WHAT MEXICO FEELS LIKE
MEXICO DOES NOT CONQUER YOU WITH GUNS OR BOMBS
MEXICO CONQUERS YOU WITH ITS FOOD, FANTASTIC PLACES ITS HISTORY BUT ABOVE ALL WITH ITS PEOPLE.
We completely agree😊
From what I’ve heard the Burrito was invented in Juarez they say that a older man use to sell guisados wish is food on a plate but during the revolution men could not ride their horses n eat their food so the man would wrap their food in a flower tortilla. The vendor had his hot foods on a buggy pulled by a pair of donkeys n people would ask where’s the man with the donkeys.. in Spanish y el señor de los burros .. n from their came to be known as burritos
Yes we heard this story as well! Very interesting history, and delicious food 😉 thanks for watching and commenting :)
As a Mexican Citizen born in CDMX, you guys went to random street vendors….there are so many other really amazing places to go, i would recommend checking yelp.. there are 100’s of places that would be simply amazing…. As a rule of thumb, i never go to places like those as sometimes they aren’t the cleanest unfortunately …. I would try Tacos Pati in Mercado Jamaica, those guys have been there for decades and they have amazing tacos.. just like that there are so many other great places.. in Zocalo there is one place called ‘el mayor’ that has a tremendous view to the zocalo and templo mayor…
Nothing about the places we visited was random 😉 Thanks for watching!
