@@vamtire Guatemala has one of the highest crime rates in Central America. It's not a very safe country for tourists. It requires a heightened awareness for safety. It's recommended to travel in groups with a local, keep emergency contact numbers with you and avoid certain areas of the cities. It's nothing like Japan.

Aqui hay tortillas con carne, guacamol y chirmol (tacos de carne), tortllas con queso (quesadillas), etc. Nuestra comida es muy parecida a la del sur de Mexico, muy parecida, pero no tienen nombres invididuales todas las iteraciones de comida a base de tortillas. Pedis un taco en Guatemala te dan una flauta.

I live in So Cal and have Mexican heritage. So grateful for the heritage of fresh and colorful and tasty foods. We have a lot of Guatemaltecos in the area, but I never really knew much about their cusine. Compared to other countries like, Peru, or pupusas from El Salvador, don't really know alot about it.
